We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Once again, having AnnaMarie take care of our pups was absolutely the right choice!! Her frequent updates, care of our house and fur babies was stellar! Although the dogs were thrilled to see us when we returned, as we chatted with Annemarie, we could see them continuing to go to her for affection and cuddles. It was so sweet to watch our one-year-old lick her ear and Annamarie just giggled and happily tolerated it. What a great sport😎. We would highly recommend her to anyone and would also suggest if you happen to see a less than perfect review for her ( there is only 1)I know the true story... it's unfortunate that some people are so unappreciative of someone who will go out of their way to care for their home and Pets (at no charge🙃🙃)-- it just boggles my mind and am confident they are not being honest! Suffice it to say she is a gem and perfect sitter in every way- if you can get a chance to book with her- do not hesitate! We truly think of her as part of our family now and all 5 of our pups would agree!

Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. I’m very pleased and would both recommend her and love to have her again.

Angelica was a wonderful pet sitter for our dog Rosie! She was easy to communicate with before and during the sit (very responsive), and made time to do a walk through of our house/intro to Rosie prior to the sit. She was extremely reliable throughout the process, and left our house really neat. Rosie was happy when we got home! We'd be happy to have Angelica sit for us again and would recommend her to anyone!

Laura is incredible! For starters, she is a clear and considerate communicator who is reliable and trustworthy while setting up details for a sit in advance. From there... where do we start?! Laura (and her sister Stephanie, for a few days) took care of our cat & dog for a week-long sit. We were immediately at ease with both of them, and it was clear that they were excited to meet our pets and love them, and relaxed and comfortable in this role. They asked informed and curious questions about our pets, routines, and the surrounding area to set up a successful sit. When we departed, our dog hardly seemed to notice, because she was getting to know her new people! The snuggle-fest and hiking adventures that took place while we were gone resulted in happy pets who were calm and content. We received daily photos, which were heart warming, and assured us that dog hugs and cat exercise were taking place. Our dog is very affectionate, and Laura made sure that she received plenty of love while we were gone. Upon return, our home was spotless - tidy and clean (possibly cleaner than when we left, and we tried really hard!) We are games people, and Laura left us some of her favorite games to play (yay), and gifts for our pets, which were so fun to open when we got home. Everything was so thoughtful and kind. Laura is absolutely one of the top sitters we've ever had, and we are so grateful for her care. She went above and beyond basic home/pet care, and her compassion shines through in all of her communications and actions. She (and Stephanie) are welcome anytime, and we (Zora and Morris especially) hope they will come stay again!

Leo and Susi were wonderful pet sitters for our two cats. They were responsive, communicative, and gracious guests, and the I swear the house was cleaner when we got home than we left it. Judith was one of the most considerate, trustworthy sitters we've ever had. We had to leave in a rush for a family emergency and really didn't have time to prepare the house as we usually do, but Judith took all in stride, leaving the apartment spotless. She sent photos of Baby Boo and Janet on arrival, putting us immediately at ease because it was so obvious the cats were completely comfortable, zero stress, allowing us to relax that they were in such good hands. She sent photos and video every day, which delighted us, confident that they were getting next level care. I was parked at the barn for 30 minutes. The temperature was 19. Six dogs sat out the door barking to be let in. They were standing on their back legs looking in the windows. How much does it cost to have these dogs stand out being ignored in the frigid cold ?
Our Frankie loves Okoboji Dog Days! They are so easy to work with and very clean. The dogs are happy and having fun when we drop off and pick up. We treasure Jim’s flexible drop off and pick up hours especially when we have friends up to visit and don’t know our schedule in advance. Thanks for being so kind to our dog ❤️

Very satisfied with our two dogs’ boarding and day care experience at Dog Days this past weekend. Jim really helped us in a pinch, as our boarding facility in Des Moines cancelled on us last minute. The facility was clean and well kept. The owner (Jim) was friendly and you could tell right away he cared for his canine tenants. The pricing was very reasonable and the dogs seemed pretty comfortable right away with the space (even our pretty nervous 2-year old rescue). We will definitely be bringing the pups back for a future Dog Days stay.
Extremely happy with boarding our dog at Okoboji Dog Days. Beautiful brand new facility is well designed with a friendly home-like atmosphere. Very convenient hours and reasonably priced. Condo we rent at the Lakes does not allow dogs. Boarding him in Okoboji allows us to pick him up for some time on the boat and other family outings. We will definitely be using Okoboji Dog Days for all our trips to the Lakes!!!

My dog Jett absolutely loves going to "school" (day camp) at Boji Bark. I have peace of mind knowing she's well cared for, enjoying her day, and she comes home tuckered out! They send a report card with photos which is a really nice added touch. The staff makes us feel so welcomed!
Excellent staff and Dylan the owner is awesome! My dog absolutely loves it there whether it is day camp or overnight. They also do grooming. If I could give them 10 stars I would.
Love this place. Dylan and the staff there really CARE about our dog! They are always just as excited to see him as he is to see them. On our dog's most recent visit, he ran right inside and took the gal right to the back room so he could play outside. To us that was a HUGE sign he was comfortable there. We noticed that he came back tired from playing and his food....it was the most he's ever eaten while we were away. We appreciate the pictures they send to us for updates on his stay. Most of all we are happy to find a place that loves our dog almost as much as we do! Highly recommend! :)
I've been bringing my malamute here for years. It's the only place I trust with him, and will make 6+ hour round trips to board him here when needed. He clearly loves the staff, and they seem to love him just as much. When staying at Okoboji it's great being able to check him out for days on the lake, so he can enjoy the lake and time with us, as where we stay doesn't allow pets.
Family vacation from Minneapolis to Okoboji I've never felt more Comfortable handing my Furry Babies over than we did at Boji Bark😍. My 3 Dogs were very well cared for and are the same happy puppies tonight as they have ever been.😘 Capone says " I Approve😎"!
Boji Bark is our home away from home for our Dog! He loves it there so much! He gets so bored on days that theres no doggie day camp! They also do baths and boarding!

This place is amazing. Always super clean and very caring attendants, not to mention how wonderful getting daily updates of your dog during the stay. It takes all the guilt away knowing they'll come home happy. They are truly in good hands at Boji Bark.
Dog loves it! Would like work friendly lobby hours. Our dog has always loved his play days at Boji and gets excited when he sees us packing his overnight box for boarding. The only downside is that Monday, Wednesday, and Friday the lobby doesn't open until 10am to drop off the pup for daycare, which is tricky with work schedules. The staff is always friendly and knowlegeable and really seem to love the dogs and want the best for their safety and comfort.

We have brought our cats here for many years. The care given is top notch! Our one cat is so nervous to go, but once the Dr. comes in and starts talking, he calms right down. Even when we had to say goodbye to one of our babies, they all were so kind and understanding.

Very friendly, and very helpful. Took my 18 year old cat here because he was sick and we got medication but the infection was too bad and when I got out to the car already taking his last breaths. But they were very helpful and understanding while I was sitting here bawling my eyes out in a hysterical mood, not knowing what to do. They talked me through everything and got me through it made my experience a little less horrifying.
My dog is picky when it comes to vets. She doesn't mind them at all here and that makes me happy. The one vet also cured from what it is appearing a chronic eye infection my older cat had when I adopted him. I'm ecstatic for my cat. He didn't like the ointment he had to have for 10 days every 2 to 3 months. Going on 5 months now and nothing needed for that eye.

My dog sliced open his leg and they made room for him to be seen for a reasonable price. He made sure that he got the care he needed and kept him to sedate and sew up. This vet saved my dog

Took both my pups there for a bath and brush out. I have a hard time believing they even got baths! I suspect they only received a minimal brushing and just sprayed with fragrance! I took my one pup back to point out why I didn't think he had received a bath. She didn't have an answer for me. Never going there again!

This was by far the worst place I have ever taken my dog to get groomed!!! It’s been a while since I had taken my BB there but came across their website when looking for a pet supply store. And remembered my experience with them! For starters the gal I spoke with about how I have my dog groomed and how I like his haircut to be, argued with me and refused to cut his hair the way I wanted it. I was taken back by this and thought well she’s “ the professional” so I’ll let her do her thing…. But to my surprise I found out later from another pet groomer that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the way I was having my dog groomed. So that in itself pissed me off because she made me feel stupid and that I didn’t know how to have my dog groomed when I’ve been having him groomed that way for years!! So when picking him up after 4 long hours of him being there it seriously looked like they had done NOTHING!!!! His hair looked the same maybe an inch shorter but his nails weren’t trimmed and he hadn’t been bathed and it cost me 80$!!!! I don’t recommend this place to anyone and don’t see them in business very long especially if they talk to other customers the way they talked to me and treated me! Absolutely horrible experience
These girls are awesome. My dog Louis v is kind of a handful and she doesn't usually do well at the groomers but somehow the girls there managed to get her taking care of every time. I just want to say thank you to those girls because they're just one of a kind, pretty special to me because they can handle my dog .
I took my 2 year old Aussie/Goldendoodle mix here for her first professional grooming. They did a great job trimming up our high-energy pup! I loved their online appointment system and how easy it made it to book the groom. Their website is very informative and let's you know what pricing to expect for the type of services you want to have done. We will be back!

I took my dog there for his haircut. I get him home and I notice he got knicked 3 times. The other 2 aren’t bad. The 3rd one gave him an infection on the side of his face. They didn’t bother to let me know.
Highly recommend All Fur Love! I needed a last minute full-groom for my mini poodle and they were able to get him in immediately. The front desk was great and Cassi was super attentive to his needs as he is highly reactive in stressful situations. He came home in a great mood and looks exactly how I asked. Can’t wait to go back!
