We enjoyed meeting Maureen during her dog sit. Unfortunately her husband wasn’t able to join her but that just gave her and Gabbie time to bond!!! They went to local breweries, Angel Oak tree, and a plantation!! And of course they played in the back yard and snuggled on the couch. Kelly and Chris are lovely people and we loved having them at the house! They were very engaged from the start, asking questions and wanting to know all the details on our pets. We were completely comfortable going away and didn’t worry during our trip knowing our kiddos were in such great hands. K & C gave us pics & updates as requested, and we loved seeing our pets have such a good time with them! They left the house in as good or better shake as it was found, laundering and folding linens and tidying up so well we could hardly tell they stayed here! Kyle was a great house sitter and pet sitter for us. We had a good dialogue prior to him sitting for us, and we also did a short walkthrough the week before. Kyle formed a great bond with our dog Charlie and also took good care of our rabbit Poppy. A couple of minor issues came up with systems in our home due to an unexpected power outage, and Kyle was quick to connect with us and then was able to work 1:1 with the service providers to resolve the issues. We look forward to working with Kyle again.

Not only did our pets enjoy meeting Kelly and Christopher, my husband and I enjoyed meeting them as well! They are personable and kind, organized and communicative, and most of all excellent pet sitters. Kelly and Chris are attentive housesitters. They went out of their way to connect with our dogs, especially Smitty, our rescue. The dogs were walked, brushed, and played with throughout the weeklong sit. They sent pics of how our fur babies were doing and truly seemed to enjoy their time with them. We were so happy to have Kyle as our house sitter for two weeks. Besides taking great care of our pets and our house, he was very accommodating. We were always able to get in touch with him if we needed to, and he agreed to take on some extra plant watering’s when the weather made a sudden change. As a bonus, he is very likable and communicative. We would definitely have him come again.

Ramona and Brandon were the perfect sitters! They rescued me and were very accommodating with my needs. Ramona's communication with me was A1. We spoke multiple times before she arrived and throughout the sit. She was good at keeping me updated and I was very grateful for that, being so far away. The pets gravitated toward them from the moment they arrived and you could see that all she and Brandon wanted to do was spoil the pets with lots of cuddles. My female pup was in heat and they handled that very well and were able to keep her and my male dog separated. I could only imagine how exhausting that may have been but they didn't complain one bit. Ramona and Brandon had to hand over the sit to another sitter and were kind enough to write out the details and everything they observed to make the transition a seamless one. I must say, it helped tremendously. I'd have them back in a heartbeat to sit for me as they showed that I could trust them, not only to take care of my pets but to respect my home they way they would their own. Judith was one of the most considerate, trustworthy sitters we've ever had. We had to leave in a rush for a family emergency and really didn't have time to prepare the house as we usually do, but Judith took all in stride, leaving the apartment spotless. They took great care of Hammer during a particularly difficult day. It was a relief to know they were looking after him. He had, had a medical issue, and I could not leave him alone but could not stay home. I took him to Pawsitively Paradise. They took great care of him in fact he was hanging in the office when I picked him up. It is great to know they take special care of your pets when they are there.
Our Pups love it there. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They really care about their clients. And their clients really love them. It is so clean in the facility. Lots of merchandise for your needs. Will be our regular go to.

We have been boarding our rescue Dachshund, Buddy, at Pawsitivey Paradise for about two years and have always been pleased with his care. Today, while in their care, Buddy had a seizure ( which he has occasionally). They called us and advised us of the situation and that they had reached out to our Vet and we’re keeping him in the office until we arrived to get him. When we arrived the staff was caring for him and we felt so blessed to have him in their safe care. We took him home and we are happy to report he is doing great! Took our new little rescue to get all groomed and beautified. Wow! Nicole didn't disappoint. She explained everything that would be done to our precious Lulu before & after. Nicole did a wonderful job. Unfortunately though, the last 2 times I took our dog I have not been so happy. From bad haircuts to having been told I didn't have a appointment. Which I showed them my appointment card to prove I did. Never pay same amount for service. Price increases each visit.
We have a 45 minute drive to bring our dogs here. But we trust them more than anywhere local. Our dogs can be a handful, but they do an amazing job and don’t seem to be overwhelmed by them. We also have them groomed almost every visit and they do amazing job. I know my boys don’t make it easy.
Pawsitively Paradise is a wonderful place to take your pets. My dog and cat both go there. They give you peace of mind knowing that your pet is being taken care of when you have to be away from them. They are friendly, caring and my pets love it there.

I am so picky about where my dogs go, and knowing they are here when I’m away has given me the peace of mind to relax and have fun on my vacations. I am so thankful I found this place!! Love this place and so do our pups! Nicole is so great with our dogs that I convinced my parents to board their pups here too. She sent me countless pics over my wedding week to give me one less thing to worry about. My heeler is very timid to new people but took to Nicole immediately. Couldn’t recommend them more.
This is our second time bringing our dogs here and we love it! We cannot explain how much we love this place! We don’t have to worry about our dogs while they are here. She is so sweet and attentive to each dog and treats them as if they were her own. Thank you for another wonderful stay!

Best boarding facility in Steuben county. They really care about your dog. Large boarding rooms with a doggie door to an outside runs in each room. Nicole will work with your dog to get them comfortable to use the dog door if need be. They also have a large play area that dogs can socialize and play if they get along well with others.
Our dog gets a little anxious around other dogs. At Homeward Hound Retreat, he received awesome attention, and the owners even sent us videos of him playing with other dogs. He loves it, and we feel very comfortable boarding him there.
So, there is this very kind, sweet and big hearted animal lover .. Nicole .. who owns Homeward Hound. Our pups get so excited to go there… and that warms my heart and puts my mind at ease.. I love that the kennels are clean and they each have a doggie door that leads to each kennel’s outdoor fenced in “potty place”. There is a big fenced in yard where the pups can all play together and there is plenty of shade as well. Nicole throws the balls and plays with all of the pups. If there is rain, Nicole lets them play together in the “lobby”.. all this with Nicole present and engaged with all the dogs. It is a small facility which is good for the dogs.. and me.. We have been going to Homeward Hound for a couple years now, and I would not board our pups anywhere else. Nicole is caring and thoughtful. We feel blessed to have found her and Homeward Hound. 🐾🐾💝💝
She did the pest grooming on my dog, my dog is so fluffy now! No shedding anymore! I highly recommend going there if you need a groomer! Boarding is very clean and I got amazing photos of my dog having a fun time! Overall great place! Definitely recommend!
I am very particular about the care of my animals. She way exceeded our expectations. Each dog has their own individual kennel with their own toddler bed. If you prefer your animals be kept together they can still stay together in a kennel or also stay in their own kennels. They have a large fenced in yard they can run around in her . She also sit and watches movies with your babies when you are away. I will never go anywhere else.
