Outstanding service every time, great value for the service, but most of all the “peace of mind “ I have in dropping my pup off and knowing she’s safe and getting exactly the things we find hard doing at home. Becky always gives our Golden Retriever the perfect trim that lasts a long time and my dog is happy “not stressed “ in going to get her beauty “treatment “! Highly recommend!

I signed my dog up for Stay and Study, but she was too shy to go through training, so Austin and his assistant worked with my dog to help socialize her and after the 2 weeks, she was much better with people. She was clean and groomed and seemed happy. They sent me pictures every day with her progress and I really appreciated knowing she was being well cared for. She ate her food and came back to me healthy. I was very happy with her care there. Also, the smallest rooms are very spacious for a little dog. They are not kept in crates, which I appreciate. I've posted a before and after photo.

My pup Avery is a regular at Pet Suites Chesapeake. She LOVES it there for o nights and day play!!! I would recommend them for all of your dogs or cats boarding needs!!

While visiting family we needed a place for our dog to spend the day. PetSuites was welcoming and accommodating. The staff was friendly and clearly loves spending their days making dogs happy. They went above and beyond to make sure our dog had the best possible experience. I would highly recommend PetSuites to anyone!

PetSuites is a wonderful place to leave your pet. My Miniature Schnauzer has plenty of room in her classic suite to walk around unlike some other places which had small cages to put her in. The staff is friendly, and the location is perfect for me. The building is relatively new, clean and easy to access. They offer training, grooming and so many other activities for your pet during their visit. I spent much more for way less at other places I've been to, so I am really happy with the value at PetSuites. Most importantly, Sadie is always happy when I pick her up and looks to be in great condition. That is very important to me.

When we entered pet suites both employees were super friendly and caring during drop off for my husband and I’s 2 German Shepherds. We originally signed both of our pups up for the play room. During the evaluation, one of our German Shepherds were scared of the other dogs and separated her to not put any stress on her. They gave us a call and told us about it and how well the other pup did during group play. They asked us what we wanted to do and we decided to just keep them in a lodge together. These employees were very detailed in what had happened and really caring for our dogs. We appreciated being updated throughout their stay. When they were picked up, all the staff was friendly, caring and nice! Also, first stay is free! When we visit the area again, we will definitely be coming back!

My dogs have had week long stays here and always come home happy and healthy, clean and fresh! This staff loves dogs...step right in and see for yourself! Attention to my dogs is incredible and I love bringing my dogs there, totally a good experience dropping off and picking up...you should use them!

Best kept secret for dog boarding. They bend over backwards to accommodate and are pleasant. The "other place " has rude staff and gets my dog kennel cough every visit.

This place was a life changer for me. My fur baby has separation anxiety and they promised to take good care of her. Truthfully I probably stress more than she does when I leave her alone. However, alone she was not. I saw her standing in the window and then running to play with her friends. No shaking, just playing. I guess she played so hard that she is completely tuckered out, not a peep from her in our 4.5 hour ride back home. Thank you Churchland K9 for being so good to my fur baby. We will definitely be back!

Nothing but good things to say about this company. They have treated my dog great, and they send text updates of your dog throughout the day.

My dog lily was unhappy at home when she was first adopted. I took here here after we had her for a week and she loves it. She has made so many friends there. She plays with the other dogs all day and usually crashes as soon as she gets home. The staff there is amazing in taking care of her and the other dogs there. They all love the dogs so much and treat them like their own. I especially like that I get pictures if my dog having a good time while I am at work. Finding this place and bringing my lily there was the best decision I could have ever made.

Our dogs loved their stay at Churchland K9. I was hesitant about leaving our large senior dog there; however, when I came to pick him up he was more upbeat than I’d seen him in a while. The staff took great care of him and ensured his normal home routine was followed. Also, they do not charge extra for your dogs to play with other dogs, as compared to most boarding places. I can’t say enough good things about them, and will be using them for all future boarding needs.

Love this place! My pups live it too. Everyone is very friendly and loves all dogs! They make this place awesome!!

Great price, great staff, happy dog, what’s not to love?! Churchland K9 is easily the best daycare I’ve taken my dog to. Rooster was always hesitant about entering other daycares after a few visits, but even after 2 months of going to CK9, he still cannot wait to get through the door and see all his friends. You can tell the staff genuinely care about the dogs and they share stories from the day. The best part? Rooster sleeps all day after being picked up. If you’re thinking about taking your dog to CK9, do yourself a favor and go!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. They take excellent care of my grand dog and all other dogs that go there. When I take my grand dog there and he jumps up on his hind legs at the counter to be let in and totally forgets about me, you know they are doing something good.

My fur baby really loves this place, and that's all that matters. He can't wait to get in there, and that makes me feel at peace. My baby would resist if he was not comfortable. For comparison. A trip to the vet. I know he doesn't like that place. I have to pull him out of the car, and once he's in, he points at the door the entire time

My pup started Port Rover for daycare about 4 or 5 months ago and it has been the absolute best for him! They are always so pleasant during drop off and my guy is always so happy to see them! I absolutely LOVE the little extras they do for us like holiday pics and the recent campaign for PR PRES was so cute! OH! I cant forget the daily report cards and pictures...bestill my heart! They are really in tune with the pups there, keeping an eye on their behaviors, moods, and health. When my guy was feeling a bit anxious, they texted to let me know so I could pick him up. They give great advice when Im lost on what to do and I love that I can text with a question during the day (only when absolutely necessary) and they respond as soon as they can bc I know they are busy, busy!! He's my 3rd child so I am so thankful to have found Port Rover who loves my guy like I do 💙

My dog Cali has been boarded there twice now. The staff have always taken excellent care of her. I would highly recommend Port Rover for any of your pet needs. They are truly the best.

Great experience boarding my 2 dogs here. The customer service is always excellent. I always have peace of mind knowing my dogs are in great care each time.

Our fella loses his mind when he realizes it's "school" day. He wakes up first thing and dashes to the door to go outside and sit by the truck, even on days he's not scheduled to attend. He gets SO excited when we pull up and we feel VERY comfortable knowing he's in amazing hands be it day school, boarding or grooming. The staff at Port Rover are all the best and we love being part of the pack!

Theodore and Bubbles love going to Port Rover whether it's just for daycare or a spa day. They come home happy and tired. We love them! They'll take great care of your pups also.

The staff here is so sweet and patient. I am transporting a dog today and called to make a payment to extend a pupper that was there. Sweet Lindsay I think she said her name was, was super patient as I had terrible service. I know it had to be frustrating trying to hear me. <3 Thank yall for taking such good care of my God puppers, and helping me keep my friend on a healthy recovery path. And for all the work yall do with the rescue community.

They have a very friendly staff, clean facilities, reasonable prices and most importantly, my dog has absolutely no issues there. I always get him back perfectly happy and healthy.

We have been clients of A Barking Good Time for the last 7 months and have had a wonderful experience. Krystyna runs a great team; the most impressive part is the reliability – in the course of our time with them, there has never been a late or missed appointment. In addition, they send pictures and a status update upon each visit! The status update includes pictures of my dogs and what was done during the visit (bathroom, play, love, feeding, etc). Seeing these updates, truly sets us at ease during the day knowing that our dogs are getting love and attention! Would recommend A Barking Good Time for anyone needing the services they provide.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about A Barking Good Time! We have used them the last few years for walking our fur baby and have also boarded with them. Krystyna and her team take such good care of our pup while we are away. They even have an awesome app that allows you to know how the walk went and see photos. It is also used to schedule and pay, making it a super easy process. They are very communicative, trustworthy, and really make you feel like they consider your pup their own! We absolutely love Krystyna at A Barking Good Time. We get daily walks for our three dogs, and her service is absolutely amazing. In addition to being friendly and reliable, she has an awesome app that let's her send daily pictures, walking routes, and puppy report cards directly to our phones. Best dog care in the Western Branch, hands down. She is amazing - if you need pet care, you will not be disappointed.

We boarded our female Hound/Lab mix for a week with them, and she loved it! I loved the updates with pictures and videos too! They were great with her and really know what they’re doing when it comes to taking care of dogs. I wanted my dog to be in a loving home with a yard to play in while we were on vacation instead of in a boarding facility locked up in a crate. I felt very comfortable leaving her with them, I highly recommend boarding your dog with A Barking Good Time! We will definitely be using them again for our next vacation

She has spoiled our sweet girl with their walks and backyard play time and every meet up between them results in some fabulous photos of our dog enjoying herself to the max! We love this service! Krystyna cares for our dogs as if they were her own! While in her care they become part of her family and enjoy lots of love, playtime and runs in the yard! The pictures and updates she sends are wonderful! They are always so happy in her care! We wouldn’t use any other boarding service.

Our Mookie loves Karla and Krystina and A Barking Good Time!!! These ladies are fantastic and love our Mookie. Pictures, playing, feeding, loving and just being her friend twice a day helped us ease into me going back to work full time without feeling too guilty about leaving her at home. They are the best and I’d leave Mookie or any pet with them any time!!!

These ladies take great care of my GS puppy. She is quite the handful and they have done an amazing job taking care of her while I am at work. They have even taught her how to do tricks. I would definitely recommend!!!(:

If you’re looking for a doggy day care, stop searching, you found the one! If I could give 10 stars I would. This was my first time ever dropping off my husky Koda (5 years old) to anyone’s house other than family. I was nervous and I knew he would be to. Tamara and her husband reassured me and did everything they could to make Koda and I comfortable. She sent me real time updates and photos of what he was doing. She let me know how he was doing in the day and at night. His first night was rough being there without anyone he knows, but they kept him company and by night two he was comfortable and felt at home. When I picked him up I could tell he did not want to leave! I will for sure be bringing Koda back here in the future. Thank you Dappy Dayz Dogs!

First time leaving my girl Dixie with someone other than family. We went on a trip with family so that wasn’t an option so I reached out to Tammy at Dappy Dayz & I couldn’t be anymore pleased! When we moved to Virginia Beach, we tried a couple of popular kennels in the area for our geriatric pup and our kitty, and we had issues at both. Then I found Tami, and I'm so grateful we did! Tami and her family take care of our pets like they're their own. Tami is great about sending photos and updates, and is so patient with our geriatric Corgi. I wouldn't feel safe leaving them with anyone else! Thank you Tami and T!

I was very nervous about sending my fur-babies to daycare especially since one is a pandemic pup and not fully social. When I dropped them off I felt so comfortable (I normally cry). Tammy explained how she would slowly introduce the other pups to mine so they won’t be overwhelmed. I’ve noticed so much improvement in my pandemic pup now that he is going to Dappy Days. Very patient and loving provider!

Tammy and Tee have been the absolute best this year. I moved here not knowing anyone and needed to quickly find somewhere I could trust to watch my dog, Hank. The first time I dropped him off he was nervous, but that was also the last time. Every time I dropped him off for a weekend he couldn’t wait to get out of the car to play, which made me feel really reassured that he was still happy and safe when I was away. Tammy and Tee were also always extremely accommodating to my schedule and flexible when I needed to change something last minute. They also sent me pictures of Hank every time I was away, which I loved and made me feel better. I am so grateful for their help and for treating Hank like their own. I wish I weren’t moving so I could keep going to them; Hank will definitely miss it there! I would undoubtedly recommend Dappy Dayz to anyone!

Tami and her family are incredibly wonderful caregivers. They make my dog feel like she is a part of their family. I loved the photo updates she sent to put my mind at ease during her first long-term stay with them (5 days). My dog also really enjoyed their doggie daycare! Tami really knows dogs and their behaviors - the dogs are watched and safe. My dog came home happy to see me, but equally comfortable in Dappy Dayz care. I feel so fortunate to have found such a great place for my dog to go for both long-term stays and daily doggie daycare.

Tammy and her family has taken such great care of my dog. I appreciate the schedule set up in place for the dogs, such as activities, nap time, lunch/dinner/snacks, and recess! The at-home environment is exceptional and has been a great place for my dog to receive care. He used to go to a kennel set up, but the setting was not an ideal place for him because there was no structure, the animals ran loose, and the staff were unprofessional and unskilled; basically setting my dog up for failure. Dappy Dogz is the total opposite! My family and I truly appreciate their dedication and attention in taking care of the pets. Thank you!! ☺️

We used Dappy Dayz on a regular for over night stays. Having a 24 hour shift, it’s hard to find someone reliable to watch your animals at a decent price. Having our paths cross a couple years ago, I was able to reach out to Tammy on a personal level to inquire of her up and coming business. Her and her family took our pup in with open arms, allowing him to socialize with other dogs, maintaining his feeding routine and sleep schedule. We actually felt guilty taking him home because he clearly was having a blast with his friends. She was flexible with our rotating schedule, accommodating for weekends and last minute day trips. We will forever sing their praises and we look forward to watching their business grow.

Beth loves my dog so much! She is very kind and takes such good care of Leo. She has a big fenced in yard that is very safe. Communication is great and you’ll get picture and text updates throughout your pet’s stay!!

My family and I spent a week in Florida and Beth watched my Luna girl. I don’t know what she did, but my dog was sad to be home with us. She lied around for 48 hours! Lol we will definitely be taking our girl back to Ms Beth.

This team has been what we consider family for years.The faces might change but the core of there values stands tall. You have to be a true animal lover for this kind of work!! Be it daycare or boarding for family travel,they are top notch !! FYI, the love in that bldg is STRONG AS EVER !!

I have been coming to this place for a few years now and I would love to just say how much better the new manager is doing with this facility. They have special occasions during the month for the daycare dogs and even have treats for the dog parents. Keep up the good work home away from home. Im impressed

My dogs have stayed here multiple times over the last several years, and the staff always talked about how wonderful they were when we dropped them off and picked them up. A couple of the staff the last two times even got in the floor to play with one of our dogs both times we brought them in for drop off. We didn't even make an issue out of one time being boarded one dog came home with kennel cough and the other had a ripped pad on his right front paw, or this past time when we picked them up and one of them had a broken claw on his right rear paw that was so sore he was limping. Now they have decided to let us book our dogs, then call days before we were supposed to leave for a trip to tell us they wouldn't board them anymore due to our dogs' "aggression" and how they make the staff nervous. When asked why they didn't bring this up the last time we picked them up from be boarded for a week, we were told, "Sorry, we have a new manager." When asked why they are just now calling with these fabricated notes when they had been booked for a while, we were told, "Sorry, we have a new manager." When we then accused them of doing it because of the breed, they didn't even try to deny it, and they again told us, "Sorry, we have a new manager." Never again will we do business with such an untrustworthy establishment.

Love this place. The Doctors and Staff truly love pets and are wonderful to work with. They take the time to answer all your questions and concerns. My pet loves them.

I'm way overdue on writing a review for this place. It's spectacular and I'm so glad we found it. We moved to the area earlier this year and were looking for a new boarding/daycare facility. When I called the first time, they spent at least 30 mins answering all my questions and talking me through their policies and procedures. I showed up unannounced a few days later and they gladly gave me a tour of their facilities (which is a sign they have nothing to hide). My senior pup wasn't quite a fit for the daycare environment, so they worked with me to set up a day boarding arrangement where she goes each week and hangs out in the kennel for the day so its part of her routine and the staff is familiar with her and vice versa. Recently, I boarded her for a long boarding stay and noticed on the camera that she seemed a bit anxious. I called and spoke with the team. They immediately went next door to talk with her vet (another plus of this place is that the vet is right next door) and worked out a plan to get her additional anxiety meds. The following day, I checked in on the camera and saw a staff member sitting with her in her kennel giving her belly rubs. The rest of her stay was smooth sailing. I could go on and on about how much they love my girl. She loves going to "doggie school" each week and I'm so grateful to find a place that loves her as much as I do.

We've been customers for the last nine years. We brought our shy puppy here and were amazed how he came out of his shell. He gets excited when he knows he is going to daycare. We feel extremely comfortable with the staff who go out of their way to make the pet's time enjoyable. The vet office next door is great peace of mind. All of the little things over the years really add up to a great experience. And even though our new puppy is a handful, the staff looks forward to seeing both of our fur babies. Such a great place for boarding or daycare! They really are family to our pups, truly another home away from home.

The staff is awesome, polite and professional. I started out boarding only and now I have my little guy in day care 2 days a week. Overall, my experience with Home Away from Home has been excellent. My dog seems to love going.

The lady Kathy, who works the front desk is very rude and impolite, and she also treats people of color differently than other customers. It’s almost like she couldn’t be bothered with them

Our Chihuahua, Bill, had a great stay. Everyone was really warm and kind to us upon arrival and when I called to check on him, they were very helpful and gave me a nice report. He was calm and happy when we picked him up. I would definitely recommend Home Away!

I boarded my diabetic cat here for several days and they were great. Very up front with extra charges for meds. They also gave me good info on how he did in their care. It was obvious that they really cared about my cat and all the other pets coming and going.
