Kathleen at Pooch Palace in New Hartford was wonderful with my 2 pups today ! They were really treated to a spa day which included a facial. They were so pampered and relaxed. My baby Buddy was actually asleep before we even left !!! Buddy and Joey ate when we got home and have been sleeping for hours already. What a great day!! I’m under my husbands name here. But I just want to give a review of my experience today. I brought my dog Otis in today. It was our first time here. We have tried many groomers. The reason for this is because my dog is absolutely terrified of being groomed. Many groomers can’t complete the task. Otis screams, yelps, tries to bite. I have brought him home from other places half shaved because he is too hard. Today I stayed with my dog during this session. The two ladies that groomed him where so kind and comforting to my pup. They helped him through this process and made him feel as comfortable as possible. It wasn’t a easy job as Otis was extremely matted due to no one being able to finish him and months and months passing without his feet/legs and face being properly cut. I will 100% come back. I know my dog is getting the care he needs/detects here. Such great ladies and so happy I have finally found a place to help my dog through these cuts.

My dogs love Pooch Palace. When I arrive they jump out of the car and run to the front door. The ladies are most accommodating and send videos of my dogs at play. It gives me piece of mind to vacation. I highly recommend Pooch Palace

If you are anywhere near Canaan CT and are looking for a place to board your dog or cat for an hour or a day this is the place to put your pet. The owner and staff are great with the animals and take special care. Courteous and professional staff make this a very special place!

I have been bringing my little Bichpoo to Charlene for grooming for several years. Charlene and her staff are wonderful. They are very caring, kind and always put my little dog at ease. Charlene does a wonderful job.

Words can’t express how grateful we are for Cody and Ashley at HHH. We haven’t found anything like them in the area and it has been a godsend. Their training program and guidance have made training our puppy a much lower stress experience. They are also helping us socialize our older pup who is anxious and shy. We take advantage of their nutrition program. The breadth of knowledge both Ashley and Cody have is impressive. The raw diet has been a “game changer” for our older pup who has always struggled with stomach issues. He has turned into a food motivated dog!! He actually looks for treats and gets excited for mealtimes. Their support means the world and we are so thankful for their help!

I can't recommend Hunky Hound Handlers enough they're the best, if your dog needs some training or you can even send them on a field trip for more exercise. Cody and Ashley are the best, all the dogs love them so much!

Hunky Hound Handlers are very knowledgeable about nutrition for dogs. They individualize each recommendation to best fit your dog. Gobi is now on Dr. HARVEYS with a raw diet and add ons like Green JuJu freeze dried salmon and raw chicken necks. He is more spunky and talkative, it was like turning back time. I know Gobi is moving into his most healthful senior years Thanks to HHH staff.

I came across Hunky Hound Handlers after doing a bit of research on finding the best opportunity for supportive care and training for a new rescue pup. From first call, i knew this was the place! The staff are so passionate about the work they do, and thalia loved it so much that we started our three year old pup for pack walks and additional training. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Cody and Ashley are the best! Skye loves them! I highly recommend Hunky Hound Handler’s. Very professional and they love every dog as if it were their own. Whether it’s taking them for a walk or sits and stays they work miracles. The best training and nutrition advice you could ever ask for. Hi, have had an amazing experience with hunky hound. Cody and his team have been very helpful to me and very kind. I’ve been having a lot of problems with my little dog and they have helped me a lot. Cody is always available and able to talk and explain in a simple way what’s going on what to do to help my little dog. I highly recommend speaking with them if you have any issues with your dog my little one loves to go there and is always worn out when he comes home so I know he’s had a good day thank you, Cody and his team for all your help and kindness .

We are big fans of HHH in our home!! Our boys Roman and Arlo LOVE their pack walks with Cody and Ashley! Roman also did basic puppy training classes and then some private lessons with Ashley and is now a confident leash free dog thanks to her training with the e collar! The transport services have been a life saver allowing them to enjoy 2 hikes a week even while we’re stuck at work! Both Cody and Ashley are extremely helpful with any questions or concerns about their health and training! Amazing team at HHH!

Ruby loves going on pack walks with Cody and Ashley. She gets to run and play while we are at work, living her best life! Whether it’s training or pack walks, we trust them completely with her and know she’s in great hands. We highly recommend Hunky Hound Handlers!

Do you know how refreshing it is that after years of dogs that didn’t listen or had selective hearing to have Cosmo listen - life is so enjoyable when he minds his manners and behaves appropriately. Why does he? Because Ashley Haddon trained him (and me)! When we struggle she listens and teaches me how to manage whatever - it’s usually me lol but having support helps!! ❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾

We adopted our puppy Bella in June, and believe me, she was a handful. We were looking for a trainer when my neighbor referred us to Dawg House Daycare and Boarder House. We had the pleasure of working with Jess ( still continuing to work with her), and we couldn't be more impressed with the results! From the very first session, it was clear that she not only was knowledgeable but also deeply compassionate about helping dogs and their owners. Her techniques are effective, gentle,and easy to understand. Making the training process enjoyable for both Bella and us. She took the time to tailor the training to fit Bella's unique personality and needs, which made all the difference. Bella has made incredible progress, and we are more confident in handling different situations. Jess is always patient, encouraging, and supportive, providing clear guidance every step of the way. We highly recommend Jess/ Dawg House Daycare to anyone looking for professional, compassionate and results- driven dog training. It has been an absolute game-changer for us. PAWS DOWN, THIS PLACE IS THE BEST! My dog has been attending Dawg House for about a year now (both for daycare and boarding) and I can't say enough good things about them. The staff are always friendly and they go out of their way to create a safe and fun environment for the dogs. Through enrichment activities and fun games, it's more than just a business for them. You can tell they really try to get to know their customers and provide the best experience for everyone! The facility is clean and the spaces are large enough for each dog to find their spot and lounge around comfortably. Cameras are always on so you can watch your dog throughout the day. We're so happy to be apart of the Dawg House family.

The staff here is wonderful. The dogs have a homey set up with beautiful outdoor and indoor play areas. I love that you can view them 24/7 and you can even drop off at 630 am. They are flexible and reasonably priced. Right next door to vets office just in case. They send updates each afternoon with pictures and a sweet report card. My dog looked so happy. They have nice free range suites just in case your dog wants to snuggle in his/her own bed, blanket and toys . My dog speedy thrived.

My dog Oliver loves dawg haus!! He’s excited whenever we pull up, and comes home good and tired after a day playing with his buddies - human and canine. The humans keep the dogs active with all sorts of play, and the dogs clearly all get along famously. Love the daily report card with pictures and videos of my sweet boy. I’ve had him at several dog daycares (I spend my time btwn CT, NY, NJ) and Dawg Haus is by FAR the best. Thank you Jessica and co!!

I brought my dog Nina to Dawg House for almost three weeks of boarding. This was her first time boarding anywhere, and she definitely thought I was abandoning her 😢 I was nervous too but the team at Dawg House made me feel so comfortable immediately about my choice. I got a detailed report card everyday and access to cameras to see how she was doing. Plus I could text them anytime with questions. Nina was shy and not as sociable as the rest of the dogs but the team still managed to make her feel comfortable and less alone which I so appreciate. When I picked her up she smelled good, her bed and toys were clean and she was of course so happy to see me. The staff are so nice and it’s clear they love dogs so much. The dogs stay active and happy all day with lots of options of things to do and a lot of outdoor time as well. I would absolutely recommend Dawg House to anyone and will be using them again as needed. Thanks so much!!

We've been going to the Dawg House for almost a year and our dogs love it. They always come home exhausted! We've tried basically all of the daycares in the area and the Dawg House is by far our favorite. There are cameras for you to check on your pups and the owner, Jess, is there every day. She is great with all breeds of dogs, both big and small, and treats the dogs like they are her own. It is clean and our dogs have never gotten sick after staying there (we had problems with giardia and eye infections in the past at other boarding facilities). We highly recommend for daycare and boarding.

We LOVE the Dawg House! Turbo loves hanging out with other dogs. Mommy loves when Turbo comes home exhausted! Pudge the pig loves a quiet house while turbo is away! Sad they are moving a little further away from us. But excited for expansion and training opportunities. Jess is super responsive to texts and requests. Staff is great keeping the dogs busy from area to area. Highly recommend

My dog absolutely loves it here! I started sending her to daycare here as a 6 month old puppy - she was very timid and a bit skittish at the time. In the beginning, she was terrified of new environments and anxious when I left her. Now, she can’t jump out of the car fast enough! I watched the team at Dawg House help her build confidence by making sure she felt safe. They have camera streaming available to check-in on your pups at any time and they send the cutest daily report card.

Honestly, best thing I’ve decided to do. My dog used to be so high energy and no social skills. When I come home from work, she wants to play, walk, etc. I kid you not, her first day going into the daycare, we got home and she knocked out, so I’m loving it every bit of it hahah. She wasn’t a very socialized dog, so I wasn’t sure how she was going to do but she’s going great. Now, every morning she wakes me up to bring her to her leash, get home later the day, and knocks out! They provide excellent services, and a friendly staff. So definitely recommend if ever need any daycare, or even boarding your dog! Aahh they also have a self-service dog wash that is very easy to use!

Last weekend I had my boy stay overnight for the first time and he had an amazing time. He has hip dysplasia and the owner and staff were very accommodating, letting him stay in a room with soft floors, a couch and low energy dogs like him to make sure its easier on his joints. After I got him back I could tell he had a wonderful time. They also have cameras to let you check in on your dog, which I really appreciate as a helicopter dog parent. They also provide lovely daily report cards with how your dog did, including photos and what friends they made.

Camp canine is the best. They took care of my sweet corgi like he was their own. The staff is always friendly. Facility is clean. Affordable. I love that they had grooming as well. Made my life easier! Bring your pets here if you want the best experience!

The mention of “school” and my doggo is at the door waiting and ready to go! If he could drive himself there I think he would! 😂 He is always excited to go and just as excited to come home. You know the saying, “A tired dog is a well behaved dog.” He is always well tired when he comes home and it shows he has had a great time. The staff are great there and always happy to see him! My boy after a great day/night boarding this weekend.

Our dog Cocoa just spent a week at Camp Canine and had an amazing time. We’ve been dog owners for over 15 years and never boarded and we’re incredibly nervous. Camp Canine made sure to keep us updated on how Cocoa was doing and took such incredible care of her. She’ll definitely be back to have more fun! My dog Jack (mixed 40lbs) loves going to daycare. I just recently had him boarded for four days and I felt so at ease knowing he was in good hands. They asked great questions to make sure he got the best care (dinner preferences and medication needs). Jack loved his vacation at Camp Canine and I’ll definitely be bringing him back for daycare and boarding as needed.

Our dog Leonardo started going to Camp Canine as a puppy for training. He fell in love with the trainers and we decided to try the day care. OMG ... not only did he see some of his puppy friends from training classes but he met and fell in love with the Camp Counselors. Leonardo's happiest days are when he goes to Camp and plays with everyone. He also loves his spa treatments when he gets deep tissue massages, teeth cleaned and so much more. There are says we feel that if he could drive he would drive himself to the Happiest Place on Earth ... Camp Canine.

My baby Hulk goes to boarding at camp canine. He is always taken care of and I completely trust them! They are great!

Camp Canine is one of the most professional and organized doggy daycare and boarding we have had the pleasure of sending our dog to. They are so loving and welcoming to all breeds. Our German Shepherd Bagheera absolutely loves playing with her doggy and human friends at daycare. They do a spectacular job with her baths and nail clipping. We feel so safe boarding Bagheera with them when we are away as we know that she will be loved and well cared for.

Had such a good experience today for my dogs swimming lesson! Such knowledgable and caring staff. My Doberman sinks in the water, by the end of the lesson he was kicking all 4 feet! Can’t wait to continue and possibly do dock diving!

Had a great time at Millie’s first “Try It” session for dock diving! She loved it and both trainers were very helpful in their instruction. She did great and it made me so happy to see her do well!

We had scheduled drop off at 6:30 am. Staff did not accept our dog until 6:50am. Report cards are reported to be generated daily. We got photos 2 days out of a 5 day stay. We also paid for daycare and he was not with other dogs with the exception of 1 puppy. We paid for an exit bath $49 and he was viably dirty and had a strong odor to him when we picked him up. The week prior we had a similar experience after paying for a bath at pick up time he had a line on all paws with yellow on his fur. When we got home he drank a large bowl of water leading me to believe there may be a water restriction while being boarded. We will never use wagging tails again.

I was very upset when I picked up my Rottweiler after my vacation. I was given one price when I left and an increase in price when I returned. When I questioned it, I was treated very rudely by the manager. She spoke to me in a very unprofessional manner.The manager mentioned numerous times that she is putting her daughter through college and can’t adjust price or give discounts. I requested that my dog receive an exit bath and she was returned with a horrible stench and had diarrhea. They did not specify why she had diarrhea. In addition, we called to let them know that our flight was delayed and they never shared that she had diarrhea. I will never put my dog there again and I don’t think they have good hygiene habits in their kennel.

I took my time composing this, as I was very upset initially. I was spoken to rudely on the phone and at drop off, but I let that go. I took my dog for the required 5 hour evaluation to board. My usual kennel I board her at every year had no more space, so I sought another option. I dropped her and assumed all was well. Upon my pick up of her 5 hours later I was informed she was never removed from the kennel due to her high levels of stress. I never received a call from them to have the option to pick her up. I asked why I wasn’t informed of her extreme distress and was met with literally no answer. She had a large cut on her nose, she and was ill for two days after. She boards every year and has never had an issue before, she is very social and goes to the dog park weekly. I can’t understand why I wouldn’t be informed of her panic when it went on for the whole 5 hours so I could choose to come get her. There was no explanation for the cut on her nose. I don’t know what happens there, but I certainly would not recommend.

I hurt my back , and have a yellow Labrador retriever 12 week old puppy couldn’t take care of him!!! Call Wagging tails. And they took him right in. Went to pick him up all I saw was a happy little puppy. they were great they checked with my vet make sure he had all his shots!!! Took him back today!! he couldn’t get in the door quick enough he just loves the staff I say five stars!!! Somehow it says for trying to get it to say five but definitely a five star

Went twice I will not go back I found a better place I travel an hr away. This last time we waited an hr appointment. The pool is still green algae, trainer stated that don't bring her ball she ll drink the water which make her stomach turn No in reality the green algae just for her being in the pool and her cleaning her selfafter wards she might have systems such as know diarrhea .cyanobacteria is poisonous and could be life threatening so please dont go to this place I found a better place where there is actually a private lesson for an hr where the pool is clean they have multiple other events they train there cheaper by 10 bucks there punctual. I can only imagine what the kennels look like at this wagging tails facility if what this pool looks like.and my dog is my service dog can't go anywhere hopefully when I go to my doctor s appointment she diarrhea s before going in to the va .

Rosa loved her stay here! I'll use these guys again! Highly recommend! When she came back home, it was a seamless transition. Like we never left. This place is the next best thing to staying at 'grandma's house'! So cool! Staff treated my little girl like she was family. I loved the photos and reports they sent daily. This feature was so beneficial to my piece of mind while away. I enjoyed seeing her smiling face playing with other dogs and making friends. Excellent social interaction they are promoting by mixing dogs based on personality and not size. This is a great place that understands how to treat our little fur babies. Its definitely not just a kennel. It's her home away from home. I'm considering using the daycare program to teach Rosie how to swim. We'll be back!

Hired for a week only showed up for two days, lost two cats, non-hired individuals entered our home, door unlocked, alarm broken, keys not returned so locks had to be replaced *documentation provided by police who arrived on site when arrived and home unlocked, dark and contents proved no one had entered for five days! Cugo was reprehensibley rude, unprofessional

Maximiliano had the best time of his life. Staff and owners were extremely attentive and amazing. I was not wrong when I decide to drive for 90 minutes to bring Maximiliano there for a few hours. I wish I could live closer so that we could bring Max every day. We LOVE this place.

We were very happy with Candlewick Kennels in Glastonbury, CT. We boarded our furkid dog for 3 days. It was a great process from scheduling to check out. We signed him up for their doggy daycare while he was there so that he wouldn’t be alone all day. He had a free assessment before he arrived to be sure he would be a good candidate for mingling with a group of dogs. He passed and he loved it. We watched him on live CAMS. We knew he was happy. They gave him his meds! Staff is wonderful. He always gets groomed there.

Can’t recommend Candlewick Kennels enough! After a really bad experience at another local daycare/boarding facility, I was hesitant to bring my dog anywhere else — until I found Candlewick Kennels. I know my dog is in great hands here! He absolutely LOVES going to boarding / daycare. The staff is always so pleasant & I can tell they really care about all the dogs. They communicate any concerns immediately & are super responsive. Truly cannot recommend this place enough for any / all of your pet needs :)

This place is awesome. Great, friendly, efficient service at good prices. I had my Bernedoodle puppy’s first grooming done here yesterday and he looks like a brand new pup, in a great way!! Jessica did a fantastic job and we’ll be returning every month for a bath and brush at least until he’s a year old. And will continue to use for grooming.

I have been boarding my dog at Candlewick for the past 2 years. Also am frequently using daycare to keep him socialized. The staff is great and prices are similar to others. I love the web cam so I can check in whenever I want. I highly recommend.

Candlewick is the only place my wife and I are comfortable bringing our dog Iroh. The staff are always friendly, and remember him. Anytime he’s boarded their communication has been top notch. He once had an upset stomach while staying with them, and they called me and made a plan to add rice to his meals and keep us updated. We feel like he is safe and cared for, every single time. Doggie daycare is great, and they have live cameras so you can see how the dogs interact. There is always plenty of staff members. Their groomers are amazing and have an immense amount of patience. My dog is very energetic, and they do amazing work on him and he never comes home stressed. The groomer always checks what we want done first, and he comes home smelling amazing. This facility is 25 minutes from my house and we will never use anyone closer, peace of mind is huge.

Love letting our dog get social experiences here and feel comforted leaving her for extended boarding. Webcam option let's us check in whenever we like and report cards let us know how she behaved when we weren't looking

I don’t want to bring my dog to any other kennel. Some kennels you can sense when your pet does not want to be there if they stand at the door not wanting to go in. At Candlewick my dog has no problem with going with the staff. They really seem to care about peoples pets and not just treat them as an animal. I got texts from the staff when there was anything out of the ordinary happening with my dog. I love getting the snuggle sessions for my dog and getting the selfies texted to me. I would definitely recommend! You feel at ease sending your pet here and aren’t worried they are scared or miserable when you are away.

My dog Teddy previously went to multiple Petco locations over the years for grooming but the stylists always said that he gets nippy with them so recommend going to a private groomer. I have brought Teddy to Candlewick for recurring 7-8x week grooming appointments for the past 4 years and their report card always gives him high praises. This just shows that environment and space really do make a big difference when it comes to our fur babies wellbeing and comfort. I have not done the boarding service yet but will definitely not hesitate if needed to. Their app allows viewing of the playtime areas so you can virtually check to see how the pups are doing as well which is a huge win I think for dog parents. Teddy is an elder dog now so he likes being alone which Candlewick also accommodates for dogs who need to board solo. Overall great services, and super friendly staff! Thanks from me and Teddy!

Candlewick is great! My dogs love staying there and the staff is amazing. They were very accommodating at pick up when there was a misunderstanding on my part. I highly recommend for daycare and boarding.

We are so happy we found Bark House! Our dog Charlie is happier though. ;) Sarah is very professional, her love of dogs is very evident and she communicates frequently. We were happy to get many pictures while Charlie was there. She truly treated Charlie like her own. We felt very comfortable leaving him there for the weekend and it was great knowing he was socializing with other dogs in a safe environment. Sarah allows you to go away in peace.

Sarah and her family are amazing! Our senior dog Izzy loved her stay at the bark house. You don’t have to worry about your fur baby while away as they treat them like one of their own. She even had a spa experience bath before she came home! Can’t recommend enough!

Sarah was so great with Duncan! He was like at “club med” for dogs. Never seen him happy, plus he came back clean with a bath! Couldn’t ask for a better doggie experience for him. Thanks so much Sarah! Will definitely bring him back.

I am so grateful to have been recommended to The Bark House. Sarah and her family are truly running a “home away from home” for pets. Our puppy was loved and taken care of as if she had been at home. (Probably even more!) The Bark House has now taken away a huge stressor which comes with having a dog, which is being able to find a safe and comfortable place for your pet when you need to travel. Sarah shared photos, videos, and updates the entire time. We’ve gained access to a great business and my pup has gained a new family!

The Bark House is a breath of fresh air! They really do treat our dog like their own child. Our Wheaten Terrier is 7 years old with a lot of anxiety and until this year, I never had her stay overnight anywhere else. At this point, I'm bringing our dog to The Bark House simply because she enjoys it so much. She's is socialized, loves being with Sarah's family and her behavior is so much more relaxed when she get's home. The sense of relief I feel knowing that our dog is in loving hands when we're away is immense. The Bark House is truly a home away from home.

The Bark House is an amazing place for your beloved pet. I have a senior dog (16 years old) and the love and care Sarah and her family show Maggie May is remarkable. Maggie is a anxious dog but loves to stay at the Bark House. I would highly recommend Sarah and the Bark House to anyone who has a dog.

We brought our pup here from the time he was 14 weeks old until it was time to move. The staff here is truly incredible, they care so much about the pups in their care! We loved the fact it was directly at his vet's office, so they could shuttle him over for appointments or anything else he may have needed while we were at work. The staff is SO knowledgeable and attentive. My boy would always come home so tired after a full day of play at daycare which was CRUCIAL for the puppy phase. A tired pup = a well behaved pup = countless shoes saved from jagged puppy teeth. We had such a great experience here and would HIGHLY, highly, highly recommend Sit, Stay, Play to anyone who asked!
