Gillian has been to sit for us before and it was really wonderful to see her again ! She looked after 2 of our dogs and they loved seeing her, especially Nelly who remembered her as soon as she arrived . Pi our other dog is still quite young and so it was a relief to have someone who knows young dogs and to be so kind and patient with him , even keeping up his heel work which was very helpful as we were away for quite a while. Gillian is so brilliant with communication and when there were any problems she was fantastic at keeping us updated and sorting everything out. I was really glad she was there and most grateful. We really hope she will come again Nelly and Pi would be thrilled to see her and so would we.

5 stars isn’t enough! Our first experience with Housesitters and Cathy and Bill were the perfect introduction. Everything was stress free and easy. They loved and interacted with our cats as if they were their own and we enjoyed our holiday even more knowing they were in safe hands. We enjoyed the WhatsApp updates with general goings on and appreciated them dealing with the trackers which can be a bit of a pain. The house was well looked after and left immaculate. I can’t recommend Cathy and Bill enough :) We (and the cats!) will definitely welcome them back. Thank you!x 🐾🐾

Bozena & Vanessa were able to come to do an introduction visit prior to our holiday. I was apprehensive being that Bruno is a rescue with some issues but both appeared well able to deal with this (& asked questions). I had mixed up start dates which Bozena dealt with admirably. She kept in touch while we were away with videos & messages which was a lovely touch. The house was immaculate when we arrived back home. Bruno was well cared for & was obviously catered for with lots of loves & walks. Can thoroughly recommend these sitters.

Our second visit from Emily and Kevin - and just like last time would invite them back anytime! Great comms through out, navigating weather warnings and coming earlier to make sure we could get away worry free. House was immaculate with bedding / towels all washed before they left. We also had a pipe burst in the cold weather, quickly isolated and checked over and let us know exactly what was wrong. Great people and I have no hesitation is recommending them.

Martine was an excellent sitter. Huey was well cared for and was relaxed and happy when we got home. Martine was very communicative and kept me up to date with how Huey was, sending photos and videos of what he was up to. He is an old boy that requires a lot of care, and she looked after his needs re. short walks and daily tablets. The house was immaculate when we returned home, which is a relief when you get home late in the evening. We wouldn’t hesitate to ask Martine to look after Huey again.

Tom provided a last minute sit when my 2 week long trip got extended to the 3rd. The previous zeewoi sitter was no longer available for the 3rd week, and Tom came in as a savior. As requested, he started his sit a day prior to the posted dates (thank you for being flexible). He met the prior zeewoi in person, since I was not in town, and got to know the house and cats quickly. He sent pictures of the cats each day and added a note about their well being. He was independent and was able to figure out how to use the litter genie on his own. I returned to a clean home and healthy happy cats. Would love to have Tom return and recommend him to anyone leaving their pets in his care.

Melissa did an AWESOME job with our 4 pets! Her personal style and communication via text, video, and pics were stellar and super comforting while we were out of town for 2 weeks. She showed up before the sit to go over instructions for the pet care and was even here when we returned (before she left for her next engagement). You would never know this was her first TH sit. She quickly earned our trust, asked for clarification when needed, and overall is just a GREAT PERSON!! Her kindness showed through in the care of each and every one of our furry babies. Ramona and Brandon were the perfect sitters! They rescued me and were very accommodating with my needs. Ramona's communication with me was A1. We spoke multiple times before she arrived and throughout the sit. She was good at keeping me updated and I was very grateful for that, being so far away. The pets gravitated toward them from the moment they arrived and you could see that all she and Brandon wanted to do was spoil the pets with lots of cuddles. My female pup was in heat and they handled that very well and were able to keep her and my male dog separated. I could only imagine how exhausting that may have been but they didn't complain one bit. Ramona and Brandon had to hand over the sit to another sitter and were kind enough to write out the details and everything they observed to make the transition a seamless one. I must say, it helped tremendously. I'd have them back in a heartbeat to sit for me as they showed that I could trust them, not only to take care of my pets but to respect my home they way they would their own. My feisty rescue, Tara, absolutely adores going to Samantha’s whether it’s for daycare, home boarding, or the both of us joining in pack walks and training sessions (either as part of a group or on a 1:1). Samantha has enabled me to make changes to my interactions with Tara and understand how I was triggering unwanted behaviours in my dog. She has helped me to understand more about breed fulfilment (Tara is a real mixture of tenacious terriers, strong willed Lhasa Apso & feisty Chihuahua) and how to meet these needs in a constructive manner. Tara is on a strictly managed diet to control a health condition. Samantha has been very supportive in ensuring Tara only has her “safe foods” as treats/rewards. Have used Samantha now for a year for both helping me with my reactive schnauzer and also day care and boarding. Can’t recommend her and Tez enough. Both my dogs love going to stay with her. Photos show how happy they are
After moving to the area and doing some research, Sam came up as the person to go to for help with my reactive Aussie Shepherd. I've worked with a few trainers over the years, some I've never gone back to after the first session and some imparted such helpful, practical advice, it became everyday practice to use it. Sam definitely falls into the second category. In our 1-2-1 training sessions, she listens to what we need and adapts the training accordingly. She helps us understand how our dog views the world and work with him to make his life less complicated and she gives us homework for which we see visible results and she's always on hand in between sessions to offer help and support. She's also introduced us to a network of training support up here.
Samantha has helped me with many aspects of my GSP’s training. Recall, obedience, boundaries. All done with care and compassion. Samantha’s knowledge is top class. She is my first port of call for all things dog related.
We got in touch with Samantha after struggling with the training of our cocker spaniel puppy. We did one to one training with her which was followed up by useful videos and tips. This progressed onto recall training and under Sam’s expert guidance we now have a dog that we can walk off lead. Sam is so enthusiastic, knowledgeable and nothing phases her. She is one remarkable lady and so glad we found her.
We started working with Sam when we first got our 12 week old puppy. She taught us everything we needed to know to set her up for success. Sam & Tez continually create opportunities for dogs & their owners to learn, practice (and fail!) in a controlled and supportive environment. Through their support, insight and patience we now have a very easy going, content and well balanced border collie. Working with Sam & Tez over the last 1.5 years has made owning a dog an absolute joy ✨
I first met sam when she helped me with my husky to tighten up his recall and work on prey drive. He enjoyed several wonderful offlead years thanks to her guidance. My next dog was a Caucasian shepherd who was seriously dog aggressive. Without the knowledge Sam passed on to me we would have been totally lost. Working with Sam and on my own dog made training a joy. We saw constant progress and these days my dog regularly goes on pack walks and has a wonderful life. She has shown me how to work my dog around his triggers and change his behaviour patterns without having to hide away from them for years on end. I would highly recommend Sam for any and all issues you may have with your own dog.

Thank you very much for taking after our wee family members for the duration of our special day. They came back smelling lovely and very happy. Not only that, but she washed his blankets for him and even got my mail and took care of taking trash out on garabge day. A genuine person that loves what she does! Took the recommendation from a friend and Jada went above our expectations. She house sit for us and watched our 2 huskies and 2 cats. She even bought them extra toys and treats while we were gone. She also kept us updated with pictures and how the animals were doing. Can not recommend her enough!

Playful Paws is one of the most magical places you could take your dogs, and I could not recommend a visit enough! Our Labrador absolutely adores it and gets to fully burn off his energy with his best friends. We get feedback on his day and see photos of what he gets up to. The staff are friendly, attentive and nothing is too much when it comes to your dogs. Our dog used to get too excited on walks when meeting other dogs (he wants to be everyone’s friend) but since visiting PP, he is calmer, much easier to walk, and less overexcited at the site of any other walkers/dogs. He is more calm at home and means he still gets a good bit of exercise in on those busy days when it’s hard to get the time to give them a decent walk! Reasonably priced with block sessions available also! Definitely give them a try!
We had a funeral in Inverness and had difficulties finding care for our two dogs at short notice. Phone call to Playful Paws and it was sorted. Took the dogs along and was very impressed by their set up. Good inside and outside facilities and while I was there there was 1 member of staff to 3 dogs. The real above and beyond service was delivering the dogs back to our hotel. Very tired which was a great sign of the day they had. Will recommend this place to anyone staying in, or visiting Inverness with dogs.
My spaniel pup goes to Playful Paws at least 3 times a week. She bounds in excitedly every morning, and comes homes tired and happy at night. Perfect for us both - don't know what I'd do without them!
Absolutely fantastic dog care here. My dogs had an absolute ball here today; playing with the other dogs and having a great time. I had no concerns whatsoever leaving my precious dogs with Tracie and she kept me updated throughout the day with texts, videos and photos. My dogs attend playful paws and absolutely love it. They engage in different games everyday and are definitely much more sociable because of the interaction they receive. Highly recommend.

Put my dog to play full paws for Halloween party he had swollen a party balloon then 1rh later he was bitten by another dog he needed 14stitches.The staff where not supervising his group properly as this was shown on the CCTV.Iwould never recommend this company to anyone.And check your contract when you sign i was lucky they paid in full for his vet bills as they were at fault.
