When one is away, it is hard to know what is going on at home, but Melissa kept me posted and sent photos of the girls. There was one problem and she researched and handled it well. Probably better than I would have. When I returned home, the kitties were very happy and the house neat and clean. I would recommend Melissa and be very happy if she wanted to housesit for me again.

Kathy was great! A couple of our cats are on the geriatric side and she treated them with such care and love. They were all so content when we returned home. Almost like we'd never been away. We have one older cat gentleman called Alfie who needs insulin x2 a day and sometimes has accidents and she was amazing. Cleaned him (and his blanket) up with so much grace. She communicated regularly with us and left our house very clean and tidy. She also cared for our "backyardigans" (the TNR'd strays we look after in our neighborhood) and did a wonderful job there too. I most definitely recommend Kathy as a fantastic house sitter.

Monique was very nice and easy to schedule with. She sent us pictures of our dog Maisie while we were away, which we enjoyed seeing. Maisie was well cared for and had gotten plenty of exercise by the time we got home. The house was spotless, which was lovely to come home to! She had taken the trash and recycling bins out, even though we hadn’t mentioned them to her before we left. She made sure to let us know if anything was amiss so there were no surprises when we returned. Would definitely recommend her as a pet and house sitter for others. :)

Angie and her husband Joe were a great fit for our house and pet sitting needs! They kept in communication with us before our vacation started, and were able to arrive a little early so we could walk them through how various systems worked and where controls were located. Our dog bonded with Angie very quickly and I think he was hoping she would stay after we returned home :) We got regular updates and pet photos while we were traveling. Although we were out of cell phone range for several days, we never had a doubt that things at home would be just fine while they were there! They were also very flexible and understanding. Due to our flight schedule we arrived home in the middle of the night. Angie was able to feed and walk our dog, clean up and leave in the morning without waking us up! The house was left clean, the garden was thriving and our pup was happy. We are happy, and would be happy to have them back again as sitters anytime.

Tom was the PERFECT pet and house sitter. I went out of town for a while after my dad passed, and I had a few pet sitters bail before he came in for the rescue. Gina has been taking care of our little guy for a couple of years now. He gets excited every time I tell him he's gonna go see her. I drop him off on my way to work in the morning & pick him up on my way home in the evening. The groomer I tried before Ginia does not offer the option to keep him all day like that. After his 1st visit with Ginia, my husband didn't think we'd take him back to her when he got trimmed a little too short near his genitalia. We had to doctor him with A&D ointment for a couple weeks & he wouldn't stop licking where he was sore. I decided to give her another try, mentioned the issue we had & she expressed concern & makes sure she doesn't trim too close. I've recommended her anytime someone mentions grooming & even got some friends to talk to her about boarding their dog while on vacay, now they can't stop bragging about her either! We do lose half our dog when he goes to see her ;)
This was our first time boarding. My 13yr old had never been boarded, and my 2 yr old I had just rescued from a shelter 3 months earlier. I worried about then terribly, and Ginia was aware of this. I had stopped by prior just to check out the facility. And she was very kind and welcoming. Even though she was in the middle of grooming a client. Her facilities are clean and well kept with all equipment and fencing up to date and in good repair. The runs have gravel bases and the indoor kennels had doggie doors for optimum activity. When we got there, my pups went right to Ginia while I unloaded all their stuff. While I was gone, she kept me updated and sent pictures. They were able to spend time together if they wanted and appeared to be enjoying themselves. When I returned after a week, we had a good reunion. My old girl didn't go into too big a show, but my youngster, I worried he might be feeling like he was being surrendered again. So when he saw me, he made sure I knew how happy that made him. Mz. Ginia was so very patient with all of our anxieties. I truly appreciated that. If I ever need to board again, they will definitely be going to Ginia's. The place is easy to find (near a main road), and it's proprietor an honest to God good-hearted dog lover and enjoys her calling. I will be recommending her to all my pet loving friends that enjoy traveling. She's fixing up a place for cats too. Not sure how long that will take. An all around positive experience and a great way to end my vacation, reunited with happy fur babies.
Before and after photos! We got Benji as an older puppy from the breeder and he was super scruffy when we got him. Lots of hair all over! He looks great! Immediately felt comfortable leaving him with Ginia. She is one of the only people who knows his breed (Havanese) and immediately stopped working on the dog she had in front of her to assist us when we came. She loved on Benji and did a great job!
My little guy Casper was welcomed with open arms and treated like royalty while I dug crystals at Haunted Ridge. It worked out so well I went for a second day and let Casper get a bath while I dug rocks.
Gina is the best most patient groomer I have ever met. My Standard poodle, and Yorkie love her. She does a great job an is A very nice person. I can’t praise her enough. You can’t go wrong letting her groom or board your dog with her
