Loving, active & responsible care for your home & pets!
Kelly and Miguel took such good care of Thunder and our house and it made our vacation an absolute joy! We communicated via FaceTime and in person prior to the sit. They are delightful people and we have made new friends😄. This was my first time using zeewoi and it was a great experience. They sent me pictures and updates about Thunder throughout the stay and our house was left immaculate. Thank you so very much for your TLC and our new friendship!

Pet Owner and Home Owner, Happy to Take Care of Yours.
This is the second time Clare has sat for me and it was smooth sailing the whole time, just as before. She's so considerate with coordination and the information she shares before, during, and upon departure. I can tell she spends ample time with my pup and that makes me rest so easy knowing she's being taken care of and appreciated as if I was there. I would recommend Clare to sit wholeheartedly.

Michael and Faye were absolutely fantastic guests and took wonderful care of Whiskey and our home. They kindly arrived the evening prior to our departure and spent time with Whiskey that evening and the next morning to ensure they were well-versed on feeding, walking, etc. They provided regular updates and took Whiskey on several adventures during their stay. We would happily have them back in the future.

Sailor looking for boat will take care of your pets! :)
This was a return visit to our home for Hannah. This time, we took our dog along with us, so no pet sitting was involved. Hannah did an excellent job looking after things at our home during our 2 week absence. She kept us informed of any small issues that came up and, as previously, she was a delightful sitter.

We feel SO lucky to have found Kristin!!! She was so kind to sit for us very last minute as the other person we got on zeewoi fell through. She was extremely flexible to come the night that she landed from an international flight and stay the night before we left and even dropped us off at the airport in the morning. She is incredibly self sufficient and was even able to fix an issue that our automated litter box had. That being said, she was great about sending updates with pictures so we felt very at ease for the week we were gone. Our babies are not the easiest to take of sometimes but she never complained and they seemed to have a great time with her!! The cherry on top of everything was how clean she left our house including cleaning the sheets, towels and blankets. It was above and beyond what we expect from any pet sitter and made it so nice that we found our house exactly how we left it, if not cleaner. There is so much more I could say about how kind and detailed she is, just overall a fantastic person and we would love to have Kristin back anytime!! If you get her as an applicant, definitely make sure you secure her as your sitter!

Responsible, young professional.
Wesley was our very first exposure to zeewoi and he certainly did not disappoint! What a great experience. We felt safe being gone for almost 20 days while our Leo was in excellent hands. Wesley was excellent at communicating, sending photos of Leo and even describing some of their activities, which made our vacation that much better. He also shared with us that he was enjoying the town and our restaurants which made us happy to know he was doing well himself. Wesley, not only kept Leo happy and well exercised (our mail man said they walked as much as he does every day!) but he also kept our plants alive and kept the house spotless. He even went as far as washing his linens and remaking his room! Definitely a star pet sitter, and I certainly hope he will consider staying with Leo again.

Penny is a great house and pet sitter! She communicates promptly and is very personable and friendly. She texted and/or called us to update us during bad weather. She took care of the house like her own. Ww could tell the cats were well cared while we were away. I would not hesitate to have Penny stay again.

Dave was so great and easy to coordinate with! He was willing to come by a day early to meet us and the dogs. He was very respectful of our place and left no mess behind. He even left a very kind thank you card. He sent pictures of the dogs out on a walk and communicate often. We will definitely have Dave back anytime!
We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!
Janis and her husband Dan were beyond phenomenal! Communication was great leading up to their arrival, especially with coordinating arrival and departure times. And during the sit, I got lots of picture updates throughout of how Isabel was doing. I could tell from the pictures how comfortable and happy my dog was hanging out with Janis and Dan and getting all the pets and attention. Coming home, everything was left so clean and organized. I definitely recommend them as pet sitters as they clearly took such good care of both my pup and my home.
Natalie and Christian were dream pet sitters while we were out of the country for 2.5 weeks. From start to finish, they were reliable and professional, with excellent communication. They had took great care of our dog and chickens and left the house and car in great shape. Plus, they’re just a really sweet young couple. We’d highly recommend them as house sitters.
Leslie and Kyle set the bar for all other pet sitters! On the first morning of their stay my cat got out due to a faulty window in my apartment and they handled the situation so well. Leslie sent a text explaining what happened and that my cat had returned safely and she was so calm about the whole thing that it put me at ease for the rest of my trip. Kyle went above and beyond and not only fixed the window screen (he actually fixed two screens during their stay!) but also made sure the window was secure until maintenance could come and fix the issue. Their go with the flow attitude was amazing. I would 100% have them sit for me again! I can not recommend them enough. You would be lucky to have Leslie and Kyle as your sitters :)
We were lucky to have Andrea back for another sit with our elderly dog and feral cat. She has been wonderful both in the past and on this last sit for a month! We trust her implicitly and are always at ease that our pets will have the most kind and careful attention. She is excellent with videos and communication and very clean and tidy. Again we feel lucky to have found her, and feel she would be a great sitter for any pets!
Great pet care. The house was clean and tidy. The sitters had great communication. Would recommend again!
We've had many pet sitters over the years (this is our first time using this app) and Missy is the best sitter we've ever had for our dog and cats. Our pets, particularly our dog, adored her and was really sad to see her go. It is obvious she loves animals and immediately understood the pack dynamics and the pet personalities. She kept the house tidy, litter box clean, and the animals so well loved. Because she was traveling from far away, she stayed with us the night before our trip and the night we came back. It was a pleasure to get to know her. We would welcome her back to our house as a friend or a sitter anytime. Highly recommend!
I have had 4 pet sitters this year so far. And Liz was the best! She was wonderful with cats. She has an easy going manner and is very comfortable to be around. Very smart and she is a great communicator. She followed all directions and left the house spotless. I highly, highly, highly recommend her! I would have her again anytime!
Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish. We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again. If you are privileged enough to ever have Janis sit we are certain that you will be as delighted and happy as we are.
Laura was amazing with communication from the very beginning. She sent updates of photos and videos without even being told or asked to do so. She was watching our cat and treated her like her own. Laura was also very responsive when we were trying to find a sitter for our dates and answered any and all questions we had about her experience with pets and house sitting. I would recommend her to anyone! :) and hope we can have her house sit again for us.

Tara is amazing!! She takes great care of my two pups! I highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs!! I drop them off and leave stress free knowing they are perfectly cared for!! P.s. my dogs get excited when we turn onto her road! They know where they are going! 😁😁 …
I couldn't have found a better boarding place for my Jacky...last minute on my part could've been a big problem. Wedding at Mountain top...last minute boosters which I would've blown had I not been informed...thanks again for that. Jacky can be nippy , with strangers...assertive that he's actually the big dog in the room though only 15 lbs. When I returned to pick him up....he was playing with others and loving his caretaker. You be hard pressed to find better . Thanks again...Doggy daycare school comes to mind.
We feel so comfortable leaving our dog with Tara at the Boarding Spot! We enjoy seeing posts on facebook of him playing or relaxing with the other dogs, and Tara gives us updates as to how he's doing. He's an older dog, and it's very reassuring to us to know he's happy and well-cared for.
Tara has been taking care of my dogs when I go on vacation for several years. My dogs love it there. They start whining when I pull in her driveway and can’t wait to get out of the car! Tara is so good with them. She gives them lots of love and attention and makes sure their needs are more than met. They are often tired out when they get home! I highly recommend The Boarding Spot to anyone looking for dog boarding.
My pups stayed at the Boarding Spot a couple weeks ago. Tara did a pre stay meet & greet for us as 1 dog has Addison’s Disease. Tara put me st ease asking appropriate questions and both my dogs loved her. Tara sent me daily pics of them and an update. They looked very happy. They came home happy and tired. Would definitely contact for another stay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I've used other boarders in the past, but this place is by far the best with the unique home based care where she gets to play with other dogs. My dog is the white dog with beige stripes. She seems to be loving it there so much I don't even think she misses me. Also, the owner Tara will bend over backwards for you and, blind a Saint, actually picked up. my dog for me when I was unexpectedly hospitalized and couldn't drop my dog off for boarding. I don't think I'd ever board my dog anywhere else again.
The Boarding Spot took great care of my pup while I was out of town for a few days! It’s great to have a small place that really gets to know your dog. He came back happy and healthy, will definitely be booking with them again!
It is difficult to find a place to board Woody since he doesn't adjust to new situations; however, he feels right at home with Tara and The Boarding Spot. It is a great fit!
We just found The Boarding Spot as a convenient place to board our three dogs as we handled moving to the Rutland area, and Tara turned out to be quite the lucky find. She was great with our pups, and they have such a good time there. It's good to know we don't have to worry about what to do with them if/when we go out of town in the future.
Great place to board your pets. Tara genuinely cares about your animals and is passionate about her work. Provides an excellent environment . Treats your pet as if it was her own making it a wonderful experience for them and their owner.
My dogs think Wundrland is the happiest place on earth. To human eyes it looks like any old kennel, but to Bubba and Trixie it may as well be Disneyland. When I turn onto the drive both dogs start whining and wiggling with happiness (even Bubba, who is normally pretty stoic). By the time I park the car they can barely contain their enthusiasm. I use Wundrland for boarding and doggie daycare and recommend them all the time.
I go out of state for work 2x per month for 2 days at a time & don’t have family in the area who can watch my dog, so I bring my puppy here when I go. She loves it, her tail is always wagging when we arrive & she hears the other dogs, & doesn’t seem super interested in leaving when I pick her up. Staff seems very nice & caring to the dogs. Definitely recommend this place.
Jojo loves going to camp. Everyone seems to be so nice to her and dropping her off, she doesn’t even look back before running in. She’s a difficult dog, and we appreciate having a place so close by and accessible for any occasion when she needs to get a way for a day or two. Thank you Wundrland! ❤️
TLDR: Dirty, disorganized, poor customer service, possibly neglectful. I took my 6 month old puppy here for her first doggy daycare experience, as we live in an isolated area and she needs socialization. I explained this both on the phone and at drop-off, also noting that she starts off fearful, then warms quickly to other dogs. I was a little bit worried when I dropped her off, because frankly, the facilities were a mess--stinky, visibly dirty (even in the office), and piled with disorganized clutter. The staff I interacted with seemed to be teenagers with no customer service training. When I picked up my dog at the end of the day and asked how she did with playtime, they told me she seemed fearful and so they just kept her in the kennel all day--no playtime, which was what I told them I was paying for. The pickup was disorganized and my dog came out visibly distressed, shaking, with her tail all chewed up. I asked about it, and they said her tail was probably just wet from spraying down the kennel. Spraying down the kennel? With her inside of it? Or, did they put her alone in a wet concrete room in January? Either way, not okay. She never barks at people (only other dogs), but was incessantly barking at one of the attendants, who repeatedly told her to "just stop it". As I paid (?!) and hurried her out to the car to calm down, they forgot to give me back her food, scoop, and medical paperwork. I remembered the food and went back inside for it. All night she was anxious, pooping and peeing 3x as much as normal, and trying to chew her tail (not something she usually does). She stank like urine, feces, and chemicals. Three days later (this morning), they called to tell me to come get her paperwork. I am angry. I have been unable to find any contact information for a REAL ADULT behind this business that doesn't route me to the untrained, very young person at the front desk. If the owner/manager is reading this, I would like a call, and I would like a refund, and you can expect more of these reviews on other platforms. Take a look at Yelp and the BBB page and you will find other reviews reflective of the experience I had. A local business owner who is active in animal rescues implored me to leave this review and pursue the matter further, so here we are. Do not trust this business with your dogs.
if i could leave no stars i would. dogs locked up in kennels lunging and barking at eachother scared my puppy and staff is rude.
Great place for my puppies! They are able to socialize with other dogs and the employees are top notch!!!!!A++++++ The best thing is that they are so tired when they come home from playing.
Took care of our pup when we had to go to a wedding. Good people thanks so much
The owners and vets in training love the dogs and deal with all their energy. Kare dogs love pool and having a shampoo. KC
Very accommodating! I boarded my dog here on the recommendations of several others. Staff was great; answered questions and took great care of my pup. Have boarded there twice and will be back.
My dog has a wonderful time there and is always so tuckered out when we pick her up and she gives us so many snuggles! Love this place!
