Once again, Ulrike has 'hit the ball out of the park'. Bella and I were blessed with her return for my recent business trip to Boston. It was not the least bit surprising to see Bella greet Ulrike at the door like a long-lost friend and the week unfolded accordingly. Notwithstanding a miserable week of rain and generally bad weather, Ulrike captured their many walking adventures with daily film clips and write-ups. Upon my return, I was greeted with an exuberantly happy and healthy Bella, an immaculate apt, freshly baked bread and a delicious chick pea, cabbage and carrot salad in case I was too jet-lagged to cook or go shopping. Candidly, Ulrike walks on water as far as I'm concerned and I can't thank her enough for her magnificent care of Bella and her generous and very kind heart. My only regret is that I can't give Ulrike 10 stars instead of only 5!

hello, we are a family that loves animals and travel.
Hana and family had sat here before so were familiar with the arrangements and the local shops etc. This meant the handover was very quick and I knew the dog and house were in good hands and so it proved. Despite having a family problem in the Czech Republic half way through the sit necessitating her husband to go home for a while the family made their own arrangements so I was not inconvenienced. That is the sign of committed Housesitters! When I got home the house was immaculatly clean with all laundry done and there was even a goulash ready for me. I can recommend Hana and family very highly and would not hesitate to have them back again next year.

It was great to have Mirjam and Maya at my apartment. Mirjam is really dedicated to teach well her daughter on how to treat animals, and there was no issue on having her daughter Maya playing around in the apartment with the cats. They arrive one day before for the sitting so we checked with me present how the cats behaved and all was good. I can really recommend Mirjam to look after your fluffy friends :)!

I know this was one of Manuela's first sits and I would like to give her a better review, but unfortunately I can't. The communication was quite tedious from the start as there seemed to be a lack of understanding in English and I had to explain myself several times. Even though we had a video call beforehand and I had sent plenty of guide-through videos and written information + there was a pretty extensive welcome guide + we were in contact almost all the time and she kept asking me about stuff, that would make her stay more conveneint. However, she didn't follow some of the instruction. E.g. the waste wasn't seperated correctly. She seemed to have cleaned, but not very well - the kitchen counter was sticky, some pantry was still greasy, smudges on the mirror...etc. Also I found quite a big bloodstain + mosquito on a white pillow on the couch, an advertisement flyer in the wardrobe, the dishtowel was partially torched and one of the winders for the shutter got broken and needs repair...just to mention a few problems. It's okay to make mistakes, it can happen, but be honest about them and at least inform me about it. In the end I got a message because she accidentally took some shopping bag from me - no big deal - however she addressed me with a different name and didn't even notice. I think she took good care of my kitties, Elliot's eye needed medication 3x a day and the infection was gone when I returned.

honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.

Prashant and India were fantastic pets sitters for us. Both were dependable and were even kind enough to allow some service people into the home to do some repairs. Our dogs were well looked after and we got daily updates on how the dogs were doing. Prashant is very knowledgeable and gave us a few strategies to combat some negative behaviors that we were seeing with the dogs. Could not recommend them more. They will be missed.

I had the pleasure of having Tracey and her two children as house sitters, and I can't praise them enough for the incredible job they did. From the moment they stepped into our home, it was evident that they were dedicated, caring, and attentive to every detail. First and foremost, Tracey's approach to caring for our house and our beloved pets was nothing short of excellent. She has an innate ability to connect with animals, and it was clear from the daily updates and photos that our pets were happy and thoroughly pampered. The house was kept in immaculate condition, and they treated it with the utmost respect as if it was their own. Moreover, Tracey demonstrated remarkable responsibility and initiative when our AC system unexpectedly broke down. Without hesitation, she arranged for an HVAC company to come and fix the issue, taking time from her day to ensure our home was taken care of. Her willingness to front the repair costs until I could reimburse her was an act of kindness and trust that you rarely see. Tracey and her children's thoughtfulness and thoroughness provided me with peace of mind during my time away, which is priceless. I returned to a home that was just as I left it, if not better. Their stay was characterized by an extraordinary level of care and I was particularly impressed by how they left the house in perfect condition, with happy pets to welcome me back. I wholeheartedly recommend Tracey to any future hosts. Her reliability, compassion, and the ability to handle unexpected situations with grace are commendable. Laura was an exceptional, reliable, and loving sitter for our goldendoodle Scout, and took such good care of our home! Scout was excited to meet Laura immediately when she arrived at our home for this sit, and showered Laura with all the hugs and kisses. Scout has recently been having issues with seizures, so for this sit I was specifically looking for a sitter who had a depth of experience with giving medication and responding calmly in the event of an emergency. It was a big relief to be able to entrust Scout to Laura's capable and kind hands, and it was extra special that Laura's beloved vizsla had shared the same name. Laura is wonderfully easy to communicate and coordinate with, and was thorough in her care of our home. We came back to our garden looking great, house left in even better shape than I left it to Laura, and a very happy Scout! I cannot overstate how much we appreciated Laura's care for Scout and our home, and heartily recommend her as a pet and house sitter. If you're lucky enough to get on Laura's schedule, your pups will be with the most wonderful stand-in dog mom you could have hoped for!

Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.

Laura was amazing with communication from the very beginning. She sent updates of photos and videos without even being told or asked to do so. She was watching our cat and treated her like her own. Laura was also very responsive when we were trying to find a sitter for our dates and answered any and all questions we had about her experience with pets and house sitting.
