Carla was very self-sufficient and took good care of the house while we were away. Sadly for me and luckily for Carla, she wasn't required to do all that was required for a sick cat as Cassius had passed away just before her stay. My sourdough starter is still alive and the garden is in decent shape -- I know it is hard to eat/pick that many raspberries and beans! I'm pleased the chalet was in good hands while we were away. Looking for pet sits close to home or at least in Europe in 2024
Ines came to look after Theo for a couple of days and all was great. Communication super easy, got updates, pics or little videos every day and Theo seemed happy to have her around. She also had lots of patience waiting for him in the Evening while he was out and about. The house was super clean and I received a sweet card when we got back from our holidays. I would ask her again to stay and I would highly recommend her. Thx so much.

Anne-Marie & Roland were lovely, friendly & diligent housesitters who left our house spotless (and a huge pot of soup for us to come home to!). There was an occasional update while we were away which was helpful. Communication beforehand was excellent so our handover was easy. I very much recommend them!

We truly enjoyed meeting Brigitte and Patrick!They were very trustworthy, keeping good care of our home and our cat, Cooper. Brigitte took time while here, to tend to our plants and did a beautiful job. She reached out to us several times when she had questions and we felt comfortable, knowing she was taking an active interest in our home and in caring for Cooper!! We came home after being away for 10 days and our home was very clean and tidy.  We definitely would recommend Brigitte and Patrick as conscientious and reliable house and pet sitters!

Our cats adored Anne Frédérique. Even our Wis, who normally doesn't like to be touched, stayed in the arms of Anne. What a surprise ! We regret a lot that Anne and Luc had to return at home earlier for family reasons because we were so happy to have them in our house. We trusted them completely. Our house was very clean at our return . The cats were very healthy and behaved very normal again.

honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.

My husband commented, "You can't even tell she was here!" :-) Her calm demeanor, intelligence, humor, and common sense experience as a pet owner made her the ideal sitter for our 7 pets of varying species, ages, personalities, and needs. She managed the pet routine like a pro—including diapers and daily meds for our older dog—and cared for all of our pets as if they were her own. Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments.
