Marla and Kurt are great caretakers and genuinely interesting, nice people. When we spoke initially Marla suggested she come in a day early to accommodate our way too early flight departure. This also gave us some time to get to know each other a bit and explain the “quirks” of our old house. While we were away, she kept us up-to-date with photos of the ‘kids” and informed us of service deliveries so we could ensure quick payment. We returned from a rather busy vacation to a clean home, sparkling pool, and happy “puppies”, as well as a loaf of French bread from our favorite boulangerie and some very special honey. These last two being over-the-top thoughtful. It is so nice to be able to go away knowing that you don’t have to worry about what’s happening at home! Marla and Kurt make that happen. Thank you both, looking forward to seeing you again.

honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.

We were completely comfortable going away and didn’t worry during our trip knowing our kiddos were in such great hands. They left the house in as good or better shake as it was found, laundering and folding linens and tidying up so well we could hardly tell they stayed here! Davis and Sydney were loving sitters for our pets. We even had an extra cat (our son's) and they took great care of all of the pets and our home. The pictures and the comments they sent showed us they figured out all of their quirky personalities very fast. It was nice to come home to a clean house and all pets were safe and happy! Debra was a Great pet and house sitter !! She communicated well throughout our long trip and sent us frequent pictures of all of our pets. She watered our plants and brought in all the mail.
