Natalie and Christian were dream pet sitters while we were out of the country for 2.5 weeks. From start to finish, they were reliable and professional, with excellent communication. They had took great care of our dog and chickens and left the house and car in great shape. Plus, they’re just a really sweet young couple. We’d highly recommend them as house sitters.
Once again, having AnnaMarie take care of our pups was absolutely the right choice!! Her frequent updates, care of our house and fur babies was stellar! Although the dogs were thrilled to see us when we returned, as we chatted with Annemarie, we could see them continuing to go to her for affection and cuddles. It was so sweet to watch our one-year-old lick her ear and Annamarie just giggled and happily tolerated it. What a great sport😎. We would highly recommend her to anyone and would also suggest if you happen to see a less than perfect review for her ( there is only 1)I know the true story... it's unfortunate that some people are so unappreciative of someone who will go out of their way to care for their home and Pets (at no charge🙃🙃)-- it just boggles my mind and am confident they are not being honest! Suffice it to say she is a gem and perfect sitter in every way- if you can get a chance to book with her- do not hesitate! We truly think of her as part of our family now and all 5 of our pups would agree!
Not only did Krista take great care of our cat while we were away, she left the house cleaner than she found it. She also kept in touch with occasional photos and videos of kitty antics, which gave me peace of mind that the cat was well-cared for. We definitely recommend her as a house and pet sitter and would ask her again in the future!
I had the pleasure of having Tracey and her two children as house sitters, and I can't praise them enough for the incredible job they did. From the moment they stepped into our home, it was evident that they were dedicated, caring, and attentive to every detail. First and foremost, Tracey's approach to caring for our house and our beloved pets was nothing short of excellent. She has an innate ability to connect with animals, and it was clear from the daily updates and photos that our pets were happy and thoroughly pampered. The house was kept in immaculate condition, and they treated it with the utmost respect as if it was their own. Moreover, Tracey demonstrated remarkable responsibility and initiative when our AC system unexpectedly broke down. Without hesitation, she arranged for an HVAC company to come and fix the issue, taking time from her day to ensure our home was taken care of. Her willingness to front the repair costs until I could reimburse her was an act of kindness and trust that you rarely see. Tracey and her children's thoughtfulness and thoroughness provided me with peace of mind during my time away, which is priceless. I returned to a home that was just as I left it, if not better. Their stay was characterized by an extraordinary level of care and I was particularly impressed by how they left the house in perfect condition, with happy pets to welcome me back. I wholeheartedly recommend Tracey to any future hosts. Her reliability, compassion, and the ability to handle unexpected situations with grace are commendable. I would welcome Tracey and her children back to house sit in a heartbeat – they are exactly the kind of house sitters that one hopes for on this site! Thank you, Tracey, for everything. You and your children are welcome back anytime!
BriAnna was our first pet sitter and we loved her :). She made every step very simple for us, communication was great, Pastis and Anubis seemed to be very happy with her, and the house was very clean when we came back. We highly recommend BriAnna to take care of your pets and we would love to have her back!
We've had many pet sitters over the years (this is our first time using this app) and Missy is the best sitter we've ever had for our dog and cats. Our pets, particularly our dog, adored her and was really sad to see her go. It is obvious she loves animals and immediately understood the pack dynamics and the pet personalities. She kept the house tidy, litter box clean, and the animals so well loved. Because she was traveling from far away, she stayed with us the night before our trip and the night we came back. It was a pleasure to get to know her. We would welcome her back to our house as a friend or a sitter anytime. Highly recommend!
We were so happy to have Kyle as our house sitter for two weeks. Besides taking great care of our pets and our house, he was very accommodating. We were always able to get in touch with him if we needed to, and he agreed to take on some extra plant watering’s when the weather made a sudden change. As a bonus, he is very likable and communicative. We would definitely have him come again.
Toby and we were SO lucky to have Tom be our home and pet sitter for our Thanksgiving Holiday trip! From the very beginning Tom was responsive and communicative. He was even able to arrange a "meet and greet" with us and Toby before beginning his stay. While here Tom took great care of our home, and, most importantly, provided wonderful care of Toby! When we got home everything was in perfect order and we could tell that even though Toby was happy to see us he was going to miss Tom. I would be thrilled if we could have Tom as our zeewoi again. You will be lucky if he can do the same for you. :)
Anna was the perfect sitter for Tali, Mac and Sox. From the first moment we met Anna we all got on extremely well and we had no worries about leaving our pets in her safe hands. Anna gave them loads of fun time and company, lovely walks and snuggles in front of the TV. Thanks for all the fun we had before and after the sit too. We would not hesitate to recommend Anna for any sit.
Janis is absolutely the best pet sitter and home care we have had. She is a regular for us during our Christmas vacation because we totally trust her with the care of our three dogs and the management of our home. She is so good and efficient that I have already requested that she sits for us again next Christmas. Our three dogs absolutely adored her as she played fetch, took them on walks, loved and spoiled them. Management of our home was excellent. I had no concerns whatsoever as we had packages delivered and Mail that needed to be picked up. The house was in much better condition than what we left it. I highly recommend Janis and you will be fortunate to have her as your sitter.

Unleashed is the BEST! My boy LOVES their daycare; he recognizes the parking lot and starts doing full-body wiggles with excitement, and he tries to dig under the door to get inside to see his doggy and human friends. When I pick him up, he is always tired and happy (and doesn't always want to leave!). The staff is incredibly helpful and cares so much about the dogs. I love when I see photos of my dog at daycare! Their boarding is fantastic, too, and they are the only place I trust to board my dog overnight. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend Unleashed! He sleeps like crazy when he comes home.
A great place for daycare and boarding! Their top priority is the health and well-being of your dog, and they’re great at communicating that. I appreciate their kindness and business so much and can confidently leave my dog at their facility. Also I love the daycare report cards, photos and being able to watch my pup on camera. My pup comes home and sleeps right away and it’s nice knowing he had playtime and a lot of enrichment.
I just recently started taking my eight month old puppy, Gracie, here for some daycare and if I could give them over five stars I definitely would! Jen is so incredibly kind and you can tell she loves her job and that all the pups adore it there. I love checking in on Gracie with their camera feed! We highly highly HIGHLY recommend Unleashed! :)
Unleashed is by far the best kennel and doggy daycare we have ever sent our dog to! We are very picky about who we send our dog to and this is the first place we have actually felt comfortable leaving her at! The staff is incredible and they go above and beyond for anything your pet may need both in and out of their facility. Sending your dog here is like sending it to a family member to be spoiled and loved on! They really do love the dogs in their care like their own. If you want the best for your dog, look no further!
Our dog LOVES to go play with all the dogs at Unleashed! Jen, Rachel, Miss Peggy and all the staff have been wonderful and we will follow them wherever they go! We know our dog is being taken care of and couldn't ask for better ❤️
Jen is so caring and treats my dog like he’s her very own. He always has fun and loves the staff. They do fun little crafts and I always get a tired, happy dog back. I also appreciate their transparency which is hard to find in a doggy daycare. They have live webcams so I can see my baby having fun whenever I want! I would recommend to anyone!
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE. They are so accommodating with our schedules and our pup loves the staff. We take him on a regular basis to get him some exercise, socialization and because he has separation anxiety. He gets so excited when he sees us pull in. We have tried a couple other daycares in town and they didn’t meet our expectations until now.
We call it “doggy camp” at our house. I called the first time and instantly knew that these were dog people. Exactly doing what they were called to do . We love our dog and they do too. That sure feels good when you know he is getting love and care. We pull in the parking lot and he stands up and wags his whole body. I open the door and he goes and waits to be let in. Best. Feeling. Ever. Send your dog and know they’re loved ! 5 stars from us!!!
As a crazy dog mom, there are few places/people I trust my dog with. Unleashed has been amazing and my dog is very excited to go every time. The staff was quick to remember myself and my dog, they keep my updated throughout the day about how my love is doing. I will continue to go here and recommend unleashed. Edit 10/09/23: Sadly Unleashed no longer offers boarding and their prices have increased. Still an amazing company and people, but no longer fits my needs. I now go to Alpine Canine, and they’ve been great too.
Our dog, Orie, absolutely loves Unleashed! Every time I bring her, she gets so excited and she loves the staff and gets along with all the dogs! The staff is so caring and so friendly and love seeing our dog every time! Best Dog Day Care in Missoula!
Alex was a life saver for my spring break trip! She was amazing at communicating, sending updated pictures, and making my animals feel calm and loved. We are so grateful to have come across her business and will be using her for all trips moving forward. Highly recommend this wonderful lady!
Alexandria is the best! She took such great care of my puppy, Jack, in my home, as well as in her home whenever I would bring him there. Jack absolutely loves Alexandria, and would always look forward to me leaving him with her. I love her attention to detail, and thoughtful ways of keeping me updated on how Jack's day was going, like sending me picture updates by text. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Alex. We have had the pleasure of using her service since 2020. I would highly recommend her. Alex you've been a blessing to our family. Thank you for all that you do. ❤️
Alexandra did such a great job pet-sitting for our dogs! She stayed overnight with our golden retriever and mini Aussie for 4 nights and was so respectful of our home. Overall, she is very professional, a great communicator and such a nice person. She took our dogs on multiple walks/hikes each day and sent us countless photos of all their adventures! I think our dogs truly missed her once we returned home -- we look forward to having Alexandra care for our dogs again in the future (and I'm sure our dogs can't wait either!)
I have nothing but good things to say about Skyline Petcare! Alexandra is the best dog walker/ sitter that I have worked with, she has a real gift caring for animals. She has always been reliable and a true animal lover at heart. She also has experience with a wide range of animals, so don’t hesitate to reach out for pets that require more specialized care. I highly recommend her!
Alex is one of the most deeply caring ,kind and well trained caregivers a pet owner could have. She is a loving , accepting caregiver to seemingly all creatures great and small...doggies in diapers, three legged hamsters, tortoises, kitties who hide under the bed and mucks out horse stalls. Cool headed, trained for emergencies, schooled in an animals medical needs...I wouldn't have anyone else.
Alex is a natural with animals. Within a couple of minutes after meeting Alex, our "fur kids" were at ease and seeking her attention. Alex is a knowledgeable, compassionate and loving caregiver.
Phenomenal & reliable!! So pleased with the pet care that I have received. It is so nice to know that your furry family members are in good hands while you are away….and she sends photos ❤️
Very reliable person! She has a natural way with animals, my kitties love her. She'd good at medicating cats when needed for those special needs babies.
She took such great care of our fur baby! 10/10 recommend
I recently found myself in need of last minute boarding of our kitten. I googled places to board in Missoula, and was relieved to find the Garden City Pets website, AND the convenience of their online booking option. In the rush of everything, I overlooked certain details- but the staff at GCP was understanding, kind, and accommodating when I called and explained my issues. When dropping off, I had no doubt that my kitten was going to be well taken care of and safe there. Staff was great, boarding looked comfortable- I highly recommend this place!
I won’t take Howdy anywhere else. Leaving him for the first time was hard but knowing how much fun he has and how much he loves Lisa Marie makes it so much easier. She even sends us fun updates with the BEST photos. I can’t recommend them enough.
GCP took absolutely superb care of our fur babies!! One was a first time boarder & the other a medically complicated senior. They kept both of them happy & healthy. The whole process, from booking to pickup was straightforward and smooth.
Great boarding and day care facility! My girl does very well with the small groups and structure here. I would highly recommend for any dog, especially if you have a dog with anxiety! Lisa-Marie and her staff do a wonderful job reading my dog and setting her up for success. I appreciate the time the give at check in/out to touch base with how my dog did.
I wouldn’t take my pet anywhere else, Garden City Pets has always gone above and beyond and I know my pet is taken care of. Lisa Marie (owner) is absolutely delightful, you can see her passion for what she does.
My dog, Charlie and myself love Garden City Pets! I always feel so comfortable leaving Charlie in Lisa Marie’s care. She was so thorough and personable from the beginning, which bestowed my trust in her. She made sure Charlie was comfortable before staying there and made sure she knew his history. Charlie is a little on the anxious side and he does great with Lisa Marie. She sends pictures of him while I’m gone and he always looks so happy. Also, when I drop him off, he runs over to her! I am so lucky to have found Garden City Pets.
Lisa was an amazing pet sitter for my chihuahua Marino! She treated him like a king for the 5 days I was gone on vacation, it was hard for him to leave! She also sent me photos of him periodically to let me know he was well taken care of. It was hard for me to see her leave Austin. Would highly recommend her pet care services to anyone looking for a sitter in Missoula MT!
They are the very best! They took excellent care of our sweet little girl. It has taken us a little bit of time to find the right fit for her and we couldn't be happier. She arrived so happy to see them when we dropped her off for a weekend stay after her trial day, she showed no signs of being nervous or anxiousness. I was able to check in on her, they were so kind to take care of my nerves at leaving her too. I could truly go on and on.... We found our happy place for our sweetie. Thank you Garden City Pets!
We just love Garden City Pets! Our sweet girl Daisy has been to daycare and has stayed there for boarding. Lisa Marie is amazing, and I knew Daisy was getting the best care while we were gone. I would definitely recommend taking your pet there. 😀 …
Our kids love hanging out with Lisa Marie and her staff!! Best of the best!!! We recommend Garden City Pets 100%!!!!
This dog food place is way beyond just a retail dog food store. Billie and all the people there are truly amazing! Our 220 pound English Mastiff rescue( we got her as a pup) has the worst food Allergies! We had her in Sentiel as she was breaking out in hives, throwing up, and listless. The doctor at Sentinel told us to go over here and speak to Billie. We even had Simba on Hydroized Protien as a last resort for the last 2 years! Billie set up up with a raw diet of Salmon and Sweet Potatoe along with a kibble, mostly made of sardines. Simba is back to 100% and loves her food, even noses us to say she is hungry! Billie and the staff are truly knowledgeable and know their products. We are even given her Pork raw diet treats. She loves themselves. If I could give a 1000☆ I would! Thank you all.
The staff is so friendly! Kendra cut my kitty cat's hair and he looks so very handsome. I've had other people trim him before and always looks like they trimmed him with a spoon lol anyways, Kendra did amazing job. Here's a picture of him modeling his new do. Enjoy!
Quick Paws is the absolute best! Charla and her entire staff are so helpful and friendly and really really care about my dog and her well being. I just boarded my dog for 11 days and she was so well taken care of. She came home healthy and happy. Such a piece of mind when traveling. Thanks Quick Paws!
The waitlist was well worth it for my Pom, Indie! The groomer was very knowledgeable of her coat and did an amazing job. We are excited to go back!
I boarded my cat with quick paws and I am so happy for it. It felt good to know that he would get some one on one time. He stayed for two weeks and when I got him he looked happy and healthy. The notes I got from staff who spent time with him were heart melting. Truly grateful for this service and the staff who watched after my kitty.
We took our 15 year old cat to Quick Paws. Kendra did an amazing job. Jack had his hair and mats shaved off and his nails clipped. He can move around so much better. Thank you Kendra and everyone at Quick Paws for taking awesome care of Jack.
Simply fantastic! Our experience with Quick Paws was amazing for our cat boy Muggsy. We recently had fallen on hard times and Quick Paws came to the rescue with caring for our pet when things were uncertain, they worked flexibly with us financially as well and cannot thank them enough for all they do.
Outstanding place with incredible staff. Our dogs are so well taken care of. We can't thank you all enough.
I’m giving five stars because some doodler decided to give one star. Melody, if your mom’s doodle was shaved, it was because it was a matted mess. Meaning your mom was neglecting the dog and not brushing it properly. Dematting the dog would have been cruel and painful. The only way to deal with extreme matting is to shave it off. You are the reason why groomers are turning doodle owners away. Y’all want the teddy bear look, don’t maintain your dog, and get mad when a groomer can’t magically restore your dog’s matted to the skin coat. The well being of the dog be damned.
Absolutely LOVE this place!!! Took my dog here last year on his birthday and will be doing it again this year. I’m not going to lie I was very nervous leaving him for the first time at the groomers. I looked at about 7 groomers in town before I decided on this place. The poor staff were so kind to me and answered all my overbearing questions with a smile on their face. The building was nice and clean and they truly care about the animals. My handsome little boy loved it there and I can’t wait to bring him back. Thank you Quick Paws for unbelievable costumer service and your love of pets!!!!
Teddy had been going to the same daycare for all of his life but when it closed we needed to find a new place…. I was recommended this doggy daycare by one of my employees and I could not be happier with them! Teddy always has a fantastic time when he goes and comes back home nice and tired! As soon as we start getting near the daycare he starts jumping around the backseat with excitement! Wonderful staff and plenty of room for the dogs to run around and play! Definitely recommend checking them out if you’re looking for a good place for your dog to spend the day!
The most delightful, welcoming staff- we went for the temperament testing- It’s a safe facility, with experienced dog handlers and nervous dog owner. I knew I left my best buddy’s in the best of care. The dogs had a delightful time. I’d like to say they put on their best manners but they’re pretty independent.- and don’t fake who they are!
Both of my dogs love it here and come back so happy and exhausted! I am so grateful to have a place like Alpine Canine in Missoula. The staff are so friendly and seem to remember each and every dog, I especially love the report at the end of the day when I pick them up. This is also a great place for puppy socialization once your dogs are all vaccinated!
We have boarded our pups a handful of times now at Alpine Canine, typically for at least 4-5 days at a time and have had a great experience. I love that they have the option of daily hikes on their property. If there’s a suggestion box -> Would love pictures of them on these hikes :)
Brought my pup here for daycare and she had a great time. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the best part is that the dog was completely tuckered out by the end of the day.
This is a 5 star review for the staff at Alpine Canine. The way they treat my pups is so reassuring when I have to board them, that I know they’re in good hands while I’m out of town and can travel with peace of mind. 5 stars is also for the Alpine Canine facility- it is cheerful and clean, and from the moment I drive up it is evident that all the dogs- big and small- are having a great time. 5 stars applies to the programs too. The pack hike is such a cool feature. I take advantage of day care when I know I have a busy day or just want to have a day to run errands and do chores without the dogs underfoot. Highly recommend, but don’t just take my word for it… The review you should really trust is these two totally wiped out doggos! They get so excited as soon as we turn down the dirt road and can’t wait to get inside. When I pick them up, they are completely exhausted and sleep like sweet little angels for a whole day afterwards. It’s a treat for yourself, and a treat for your best friend too🐾
Alpine kept our 3 pups for two weeks while we were away. We were nervous for leaving them for that long but Alpine took great care of them. Picked them up they were happy and looked healthy. Appreciate the military discount they offer as well. We will use them again without question for our next summer trip.
This is very hard as I have left my dogs before over night here in the past. (New management now?) However, the past few years have been rough with this facility, which has lead me to leave this review. I don't normally do this but it is at the point that I will never leave my dogs here again. It started 3 leaves ago when we boarded our dogs here for 4 nights and when we went to pick them up they "could not find their dog beds"... how does that happen? And what were my dogs left to sleep on? I wrote it off as whatever... the next time last year we left our dogs for 3 nights here and when I picked them up in the morning, the dog bed was covered in feces and all over one of my dogs. I wrote it off as nerves or something.... but inside I knew my dogs were house trained and would never shit on their bed. This last time, we left our dogs for 3 nights and when I showed up to pick them up they handed me their dog bed soaked in urine. My dogs are 10 and 5 years old, house trained and live in our house with us. They are very house trained. That tells me they are NOT letting my dogs out of their kennel in a timely manner at all. We Pay $70+ a night to have them care for our animals to be neglected. I will never leave my dogs here again.
My dog was temperament tested and passed with flying colors. The staff was very good with all the dogs, the facility was clean and my dog really liked it. I think this is an excellent place for her and she will be spending a lot of time here.
This is a great place for our German Shepherd. Great staff who obviously love dogs! From drop off to pick up someone is there to greet you and your dog. they ask about any changes or needs regarding your pet, which was much appreciated. This is a new experience for our pet and she seems to be handling it well thanks to the staff. The facility is well maintained, plenty of room for outdoor play and the dogs are managed well. One of the things that sold me on this boarding service was that the dogs have lots of space to be outdoors and they offer hiking for your pet. It’s the perfect setting for our girl, THANK YOU ALPINE CANINE STAFF!
Meghan and her husband were incredible when I was on my vacation to Montana when I needed care for my pooch Ollie to attend an unexpected funeral. They took Ollie almost instantly gave him the true love I give him. The facility is extremely spacious with tons of running room with her home adjacent to the facility. It's outside of Missoula in Lolo so its pretty quiet but easy to find from the highway. The rates were extremely reasonable and I never had one worry my pup was in great hands. Ollie gives it 4 big paws 🐾 and one short tail up (River Pic was a happy Ollie after his stay)
Furever friends is incredible! Not only are they so accommodating but have the cleanest facilities and beautiful play space for the pups. They take into consideration each dogs social needs and communicate wonderfully. So professional. It wasn’t until we tried another Missoula daycare when furever friends was fully booked that I realized What I was taking for granted. We will never return to the other place we tried and will be forever friends of Furever friends :) Thanks for being incredible!!!
Tabatha & Matt are the best. I have been taking my husky there for a few years. He is well cared for with plenty of playtime and interaction
Love this place! Smaller dog/handler ratios than most places means your dog is keenly watched and has a more enjoyable, less stressful day. The staff and owners are awesome and really care about the dogs. On those dangerously hot days, everyone comes inside to cool off and play in the a/c. My dog, Finley, really enjoys his play time at Furever friends!
Our small-to-mid-sized dog enjoys his stays. Spends the days playing with the other dogs and comes home exhausted. He never minds going back.
I just picked up my dog from a 3 day stay. Let me tell you about frank. He’s a high energy insane dog. Won’t stop. Ever. He yells in the car 100% of the time and runs around when he’s not buckled in. Today when I picked him up he got into the back of the car and layed down then proceeded to snore the loudest snore I’ve ever heard. I’ve never seen him so exhausted and I’m so happy he played his little heart out. Worth every single penny. Frank will be back!
A great place for dogs, they are always welcoming and sweet to our boys. We have one timid guy and he does well. They are comfortably taken care of for our long weekends away. Thank you Matt and Tab!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about this business and the owner. The place is spotless with excellent indoor and outdoor play areas and always has a good mix of friendly pups for my big ole boy to play with. Prices are great! Hours are great! Location is great! I know my dog is really well cared for and safe with them.
My little PomChi wakes me up each morning waiting to go to Forever Friends Doggy Daycare. I Live up the street from them, that said, yesterday (Sunday) my little guy snuck out the front door. Typically opening the car door makes him run right back. NOT this time, instead he ran up the road to the daycare. NOW if that doesn't tell people that they are an amazing dog loving environment, then I don't know what will. They are clean, happy, fun and always with the animals. Thank you for the wonderful care you give my little guy.. Not to mention he is EXHAUSTED at the end of the day from playing. :)
We absolutely love this doggy daycare. My boy, Spike, is always excited to go and see his friends! 100% recommend!!
UPDATE TO RESPONSE:It's alarming that not once did you apologize, show compassion or take responsibility for anything we experienced. You've just denied and disputed everything which says it all.My review was 100% honest whether you like it or not. You did not verify his rabies.Below is a text from Richard about Aggy's demeanor I felt important to share. You also told me he was welcome back Anytime when I picked him up and asked about a 10+ day stay in November. You've really twisted things and that's not ok. ___ I have contemplated whether to leave a review or not and have decided it’s important to share my first and last experience at this boarding facility. My dog Aggy stayed for 4 nights/5 days from September 30-October 4, 2024. I was hopeful reading all the 5 star reviews that my experience would be the same but it was far from that. I told them I was nervous it was Aggy's first time there and was greatly looking forward to updates and photos and was told they would send photos and updates and not to worry. I heard absolutely nothing and I finally reached out at the end of the second day asking if everything was ok.After he responded I was told that I would definitely get photos and an update the next day. Again the time came and went and I heard nothing and finally had to call to get an update. When I picked him up things seemed ok except there was more than a days worth of food left.I had measured out the exact amount for him and when I questioned it I was told he was fed correctly and the left over food was dismissed. They also told me "was eating well" during his stay. I took him straight for a bath and as I washed him I found 4 huge cuts on his body that had scabbed over. These cuts were deep and were either from aggressive dogs or unsafe fencing/sharp objects. When I took him for his evening walk that day his ENTIRE poop was PURE wood. I gasped because I was so confused and concerned. The amount of time it must have taken him to eat an entire stomach full of wood was alarming. Then, two days after bringing him home he started to be sick with diarrhea and not feeling well. This ended with a $300 emergency vet visit where the vet said he got an infection from another dog.He got antibiotics and it took him about a week to be back to normal. Also I feel it is important to note that at the initial meet and greet they did not actually check any vaccination records. Richard just asked me and took my word that everything is up to date.My dog is up to date but when there are 20-30 dogs flowing through this place daily and they are not actually checking rabies dates and records and verifying it’s not good, safe, or professional. From lack of properly checking vaccination records, to coming home with extra food, to him being left unattended to for long enough to eat an entire stomach’s worth of wood (which I now believe he was hungry from not getting enough food) , to cuts on his body and then being sick from another dogs illness leaving me with a $300 vet bill, and then not getting any updates or photos from his entire stay unless I contacted them was all just really upsetting and I feel terrible Aggy had to go through all that. I also find it interesting that you can only see 5 star reviews. And the most recent review is from a year ago and longer for others. It looks like there are other 1 star reviews but I cannot find them to read.I could be wrong but I find it very interesting that the low reviews are hidden. I have taken my dog to many MANY different boarding facilities and day cares and he has NEVER come home with cuts on his body, illness from another dog, a full stomach of wood or left over food. For one of these to happen I can be understanding but for ALL of this in a matter of 4 nights and 5 days is completely unacceptable in my opinion. I am glad this place works for others but it is not somewhere I will ever use again and I have also shared my experience with others in the area. Had I known I was going to leave a review I would have taken photos of the cuts on his body and wood in his stool.
Can't recommend this place enough! So easy to work with and obviously take such good care of our dogs- one being an anxious guy who needs near constant attention. We just had to go out of town last minute for a funeral and they were able to get our dogs in right away, and I was able to get all of my business taken care of without having one worry about the dogs. I just am so appreciative of this business and family!
Pet Pals Bed and Biscuit has become our first choice for boarding our dogs. Richard and Alice are fellow dog lovers and their house offers a home like atmosphere rather than dogs being placed in a kennels. They are attentive to our dogs needs and take very good care of them. Thank you very much.!!
The owners are so accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. I feel at ease when my dog is staying with them. It's also a great way for my dog to socialize when I have events where I can't take him with me. I love how they let the dogs have various indoor and outdoor spaces to play so they aren't confined in one area the whole time. This is the only place I recommend to others for boarding.
Pet Pals Bed & Biscuit is the only place I would trust to board my dogs! The owners are great about scheduling and sending me udpates when I am gone. They are super accommodating even with my fearful border collie, 2 small dogs, and my large senior dog. They always tell me who my dogs are playing with and how they are spending their days; i can totally relax knowing my dogs are happy and safe!
Richard and Alice make such a huge impact in what they do, and truly care for each animal as if it was their own. Our dog is very odd, putting it lightly. We never worry having him stay with Pet Pals because from the first meeting it was clear he was in no better hands. I could not recommend a boarding service for your furry family members with any higher regard.
We've been using Pet Pals for a few years now, and have turned a couple friends onto it as well. Nothing but absolute satisfaction. Our dogs love it there, always come back tuckered out and tired from being able to play and run around with other dogs. The owners have always responded quick and been happy to send videos and pictures on request when we're missing our dogs while away on trips. They've been quick to let us know if any issues arose with our dogs (our skiddish one just tweaked his back with a minor playing/moving injury which went away in days. But they let us know right away and what happened). Can't recommend Pet Pals enough for dog lovers who don't like kenneling and just in general as well.
We have left our two dogs here many times and each time has been great. They take such great personalized care of each of our pups and are amazing communicators. Their prices are fair and we love supporting this local business.
Alice and Richard at Pet Pals are my "life line" for excellent care for my high energy dog Oakley. Oakley looks forward to his routine of day care and overnighting at Pet Pals every week. He is completely happy to be with Alice and Richard, and under their great care, so much so that I can travel out of town without any stress at all. Pet Pals even provides safe pick-up and delivery to Missoula when I can't transport Oakley there myself. Excellent service! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Alice and Richard!
We had a wonderful experience for our dog Brody! Richard & Alice treated our dog as their own! He even slept with them at times! We strongly recommend this place to leave your dog! It is the best!
We had a trial run at Old Farm Kennels and our dog stayed for the work day. Right off the bat I was really impressed with the facilities, they seemed really clean and nice. I was also really happy with how they treated our dog. She is very reactive and when we came in to drop her off she immediately started barking and growling, but the staff did not seem scared of her at all and were being very sweet to her. They were really kind and understanding, and our dog seemed to do great throughout the day. While we didn’t end up boarding her for a longer stay due to a change in circumstances that allowed her to come with us, we will definitely be boarding our dog with them in the future.
We have been clients of Old Farm Kennels in Florence since Sept. 2022 On Monday, 7/8 I dropped my 2 dogs off for boarding and they were picked up Wednesday, 7/10. During their stay both dogs received severe burns from being turned out into gravel yards that were too hot. All four paws on both dogs have been burned. I understand they can't control the weather but being unable to properly care for dogs staying at their facility is unacceptable. Paws should never be burned - especially to this degree. For reference, the dogs have an air conditioned kennel with outdoor access, 3x/ day the dogs are turned out into a gravel yard. The gravel yard is where I believe they were burned. In addition to our dogs being burned they failed to administer my immunocompromised dog's medication. I provided detailed written and oral directions to staff at drop off and they never attempted to contact either my husband or I with questions. One of our dogs paws are so severely burned she cannot walk (which says a lot for a food obsessed husky mix), her feet are swollen, raw, and bloody. We have to carry her to the yard for potty time, and bring her food and water. Her feet are in so much pain she sometimes attempts to walk on her tip toes or nails when its time for food. I am sharing this not to publicly shame OFK but to hopefully save someone else's dog the pain and torment ours went through. (I would also like to make a side note that both these dogs and I lived in the desert for a couple years with a gravel yard that they always had access to and never had paw burn injuries from the 100+ degree weather we endured)
All of the staff at Old Farm Kennels made our boarding experience better than we could have imagined and we couldn’t be more grateful for the exceptional care they provided for our special needs pup. With the needs our dog has, we have never been able to feel comfortable boarding her before this experience at Old Farm Kennels. The staff were so kind and patient and accommodating with us and allowed us to take the time away from home for the first time in years to go to a work event and know that our dog was safe, cared for, and in good, reliable hands. Thank you so much to you all, we are beyond grateful!
We took our 10 year old GSD for her first ever spa day at Old Farm Kennels and the results were amazing. Our Marlee girl looks so good. The groomers did such a great job with her and were so patient with her. Thank you OFK for being so close and so AWESOME. Side note - we have been using the Kennel for boarding and love it as well.
My two dogs stayed here for a week. I requested staff to use our higher quality dog food with the feeding schedule all written out, packed, and organized in a nice doggy duffel bag, but the food packed was hardly used and our dogs came back noticeably skinner and extremely anxious. We thought the staff seemed nice, but the communication between them appears to be negligent. My partner and I are hoping there wasn’t a negative experience between our dogs and a staff member as they seemed scared at pickup and anxious to leave. I do want to say the dog grooming services were great upon getting our dogs back. My partner and I just didn’t leave feeling confident in the staffs communication or concern with the care and requests of our pups. The price was attractive to give these guys a try, but I think we’ll pay extra somewhere else next time. We’re pretty bummed to not be part of the many other 5 ⭐️ reviews.
My dog loves his friends at Old Farm Kennels. They take such great care of him. I only worried the first time I brought him. Now I just drop him and go. He is always so excited to see everyone and doesn't even bother to give me a goodbye look.😆 I leave him when I go on a trip or drop him at daycare when I have a long day so he can run off some steam. Appreciate the the staff so much and love how my dog loves them! ❤❤❤
The people were extremely friendly and helpful. The kennel was loud with many barking dogs but it was clean (smelled and looked very clean) which I loved! The kennel spaces were very nice with a door from the inside to the outside kennel. My scaredy cat 10 month old Daniff was terrified when we went in but he came out happy and not barking at anyone so all in all a successful first visit. Love that they offer a free 4 hour first time visit!
Wonderful folks at Old Farm Kennels! A kind person dropped off our 2 dogs after they had escaped the yard for a grand adventure, going several miles from our home. The dogs were welcomed, hydrated, and cared for by the staff until our arrival. Thank you all very much!
Our dog was a newbie to Old Farm, but spent an enjoyable 4days there when we were out of town. They accommodated his needs, were on top of our requests and treated Winston with respect and kindness. He wants to go again!
Best.....place....EVER!!! In the years we have had GSD'S never have we ever seen them so excited to go to a boarder/ day care..... clearly they are showing love to these pups!!! They return home happy, healthy and when we bring them back they are unbelievably excited to be there!!! Good job!!!
The groomers are so wonderful! My sweet dog has severe anxiety and the first time there she destroyed a drying kennel and tried to tear the tub from the wall. I felt so bad but those ladies were so kind about it. We paid for the damage of course and I was so surprised that they had no hesitation having her back. They accommodate her personality and she still goes every 10 weeks with no further issues. They are so friendly there and I understand why they are always so busy, definitely the best groomers I've met.
I was nervous to board my German Shepherd while I went on vacation because I was afraid his separation anxiety would flare up again. He seemed very content and well taken care of when I picked him up. The Pet Palace also accommodated my GSD with moving him to a indoor/outdoor run as soon as one became available. I was pleased with the service and care, as well as the price. Will definitely be returning in the future.
My husband and I brought our dogs here to be boarded while we lived in the area and it has been by far the best dog boarding experience we’ve had. We had a bad experience with a previous boarder and the staff at Bitterroot Pet Palace did everything they could to ease our worries. They took incredible care of our babies and one of the staff even sent me near daily picture updates of them while there. If we still lived in the area, this would be the only boarder we’d use! Highly highly recommend!
I have only utilized the dog grooming services and the groomers here rock! They take such good care of my reluctant dog. Their facility is clean. And their prices are reasonable. They are so friendly and truly love the animals. Must book far, far in advance because they are always full!
I dropped my 2 dogs off and they've never been boarded before. It broke my heart off to leave them for the weekend but as soon as I saw the personalized service I was instantly relieved. Niki was there to greet us and then I was shown where they would be. When I arrived to pick them up they were in great shape. All in all it was great for them and me to get away for awhile. I will use them again and I recommend them highly. One thing I noticed is that it doesn't smell like a kennel. It was super clean and highly Pythagoras. A+
It's always hard to leave your pets, but I never feel anxious when I drop them off at Bitterroot Pet Palace! The owners are amazing and the employees are simply just delightful people. They always remember my pups and go out of their way to make sure I'm feeling good about their visit. So glad to have found them!!
Our dogs all love the groomers here, and they do fantastic work. A year ago, our dogs caught the business end of a skunk and needed a major bath. They got me in that same morning and did a great job getting rid of the skunk odor. We rescued a dog from a neglectful home and he came to us covered in mats and in desperate need of a haircut and bath. Even though they were booked up, they made an exception worked him into their schedule because of his situation. They truly care about the animals that come to them, and they take excellent care of them. We've boarded our dogs here, and with our past experiences with the people at the Pet Palace, we knew our dogs were in good hands.
We love these folks. And our 2 big (78 and 65 pounds) puppies (8 months), love this place. Always excited when they arrive. And a great value for the price. And the ladies who run the place are great. Friendly, professional, sweet and obviously love animals. Our new favorite "dog hotel" when needed.
Our dogs, Cassie and Lily, stayed here for the first time for about 9 days last month and we’re very happy about how things went. Sarah called us several days in to let us know she had a coughing dog in the kennel and she was working with the owners to remove it in the event the dog was contagious (kennel cough or another virus). She let us know our dogs were doing fine but she would get in touch if anything changed, and she provided a brief update on our dogs. She could have simply flown under the radar on this and called us only if our dogs had symptoms, but she did the best/right thing and gave us a heads up. She nailed it. Sarah and another staff member made a point to tell us how sweet and polite our dogs were. I thought maybe they had our dogs confused with someone else’s. It’s always great to get compliments on your kids’ behavior from strangers. What a relief to know they are only Little Monsters at home. 😆
I was a customer of Bitterroot pet palace when the old owner owned the company. My experience with him was NOT great. Each time we'd pick out dogs up, they smelled like urine. My dogs also contracted kennel cough while he owned the facility, and were treated without our knowledge with an over the counter cough suppressant. He also often would tell us that our dogs didn't get to access the large yard because they wouldn't listen to him when he wanted to come inside, and that was THEIR problem, not his. He "doesn't play that game". When we found out the Pet Palace sold, we were VERY excited, and thrilled to meet the new owner. Right away, Sarah was AMAZING. We often traveled on the weekends, returning on Sundays. If we were every running a couple minutes behind, or cutting it close to closing time, Sarah ALWAYS offered to stay so we could still pick our dogs up. They no longer smell like urine when we pick them up after being boarded, nor have they had another issue with Kennel Cough. Furthermore, one of our dogs was recently diagnosed with epilepsy. Sarah and her ENTIRE team has been AMAZING at going above and beyond for us. She accommodates our schedule, when she doesn't have to, AT ALL, which is a HUGE help. We have been dropping our dog off with her at day care for the team, while he gets used to his seizure meds, which can take a little while. Whenever I call, whoever answers give me updates, and makes sure they answers all of my questions regarding his status. Tracy, Sarah, Julie, they're all AMAZING, and do a WONDERFUL job at monitoring our dog giving me updates regarding his status. They also let both of our dogs out into the big yard, so they can run off some of their energy and have said they don't have any issues, that dogs will be dogs and it's OK. I seriously cannot say enough how happy we are with her being the new owner, and we will continue to take our dogs to her for any needs that we have. From daycare, to boarding, I trust them ALL with our dogs, no matter what.
We had a great experience at SIT Happens, and really enjoyed learning from Sarah and her staff. From Puppy Kindergarten, and Puppy Playtime and through the Companion Manners course we have been so happy with the progress we have seen- both for our pup Kintla and in our ability to teach her! This is a very welcoming, open and patient place to learn how to train your dog. This is the first dog I have trained from a puppy and I would highly recommend trying a class here. You will be amazed at how much Sarah can teach you and your dog. She makes the information accessible and easy to incorporate into our already busy lives. Looking forward to more classes!
My English bulldog has been at Sit Happens for most of her two and a half yrs, starting with puppy kindergarten, getting great socialization skills with the other puppies, people, and their skilled trainers, Sarah and Emma. My dog also attended several courses of Companion manners, learning all the basics from leash walking, sit, stay, settle, and how to be around other dogs and people in a quiet controlled and disease free environment. She now attends agility with Sarah, her trainer, and is also taking private lessons with another behavior trainer to overcome shyness reactivity. The staff are all so good with my bulldog, and I am very careful about who she works with. Their success rate is tremendous, the business is managed so well, and their rules are in place to protect dogs and owners. I highly recommend them, and so does both of my vets!
UP date on Bandits training We are 4 classes out Bandit now has safe place when it thunders and he is no longer getting upset and crazy during the storms I get compliments all the time how much claimer he is and relaxed he is he now he no longer has to be the center of attention and he listens to me now and Does what I need him to do. Our next few sessions will be to help him become the service dog I need him To be I will update on our progress after our next few sessions
Solid and structured canine training classes based on positive reinforcement. Clean and well lighted facility. Class size is small; allowing for individualized attention and realtime trainer feedback. Knowledgeable and patient trainers. My Pups look forward to their class and are responding well to the instruction. Two Paws up.
Sit happens is a wonderful business! Our dog has spent countless hours with Sarah and Emma and the care, attentiveness and knowledge they have displayed is beyond professional. The facility is very clean and inviting. They play a soundtrack during puppy playtime so as to get the dogs comfortable with unusual sounds and familiarize them with strange noises. Our dog attended puppy kindergarten twice, as the tools we learned during the classes were so good that we jumped at the chance to do it again. We also completed the companion manners course, which I highly recommend. They give you handouts to take home and encourage continuous practice and patience with your pup. They have a solid business model but, on top of that, they truly care. They love what they do and it shows!
Great people that are very knowledgeable in training. Help train the people and the companions. Very positive and reinforce good behavior. Highly recommend Sarah, Emma and the support staff! Thank you!!
Sarah and Emma are beyond knowledgeable when it comes to training and agility classes. I’ve learned perhaps even more about myself and how to interact with dogs than j have about my canines, but that’s exactly the point. Will be re-enrolling here for higher level classes until further notice. Great atmosphere and an amazing place to train your dogs.
This is an excellent place for all your dog needs. Classes are professional, thorough, carefully designed to help puppies develop socialization and manners. They have scent and agility classes that are wonderful! Sarah and Emma truly care about your dogs!
Sit Happens is the best dog training and socializing place in Missoula. It is so wonderful that Sarah takes diseases seriously so we can take young puppies there safely for socialization. People that feel the need to go to multiple dog facilities at once risk all of our puppies health. Her puppy kindergarten is amazing, especially once a month when she brings out tons of stuff and equipment for puppies to familiarize themselves with. It is invaluable!
I was there for the Companion Manners training class.. Sarah, the owner and operator, is incredibly knowledgeable and great with both humans and the dogs. She explains the training exercises and the why in a clear way that helps even the stubbornest of dogs. I'm so impressed with her professionalism and knowledge. If you want to teach your dog some foundational training, I cannot recommend this place enough!
