Sabina is a wonderful pet sitter. She truly loves and cares about animals. I trust her implicitly with my pets and my home. These days my work is taking me out of town with some frequency and it is a tremendous comfort to know that my cats are in good hands when I am out of town. I have called upon Sabina on numerous occasions over the years to care for my pets. Several years ago, I had a Labrador Retriever and when I was away she used to walk him day and night which allowed me to leave him at home rather than board him. A few years ago I rescued four small kittens and one of them needed daily medication. Sabina administered it when I was gone. Sabina is very trustworthy and shows good judgment. I know that if something unforeseen comes up, she'll contact me and that has allowed me to leave my pets in her care with peace of mind. I highly recommend Sabina and her pet service Pet's Nanny!!!

Sabina has been taking care our cats whenever we're away for the past five years, and being able to count on her has allowed us to travel with complete peace of mind that they're being well taken care of. She's a huge animal lover, and it was clear within minutes of meeting her that pet sitting isn't just a job for her, but she genuinely loves spending time with our cats. We get daily updates and photos, and our five cats love her just as much as she clearly loves them. Highly recommended!

The worst! Had an uneasy feeling from the moment I met Sabina. Her house and yard are disgusting. My dog smelled gross when I picked her up, and isn't acting like herself at all..very lethargic. Sabina was rude distracted and abrupt. She has a lot of things going on besides caring for your pet that seem to take priority. She said she would be open until 6, but then said I had to be there at 5:15. She had an appointment.

If you need and want a pet sitter who will love your pet as much as you do, Sabina- Pet's Nanny-- is your gal. I am the proud and loving owner of a quirky, nutty, deaf senior cocker spaniel-- my first dog ever, and adopted only last year. To say the least, I am a newbie when it comes to services for dogs, and my comfort level for leaving him is close to nil. Well, Pet's Nanny has changed all that. I was lucky enough to find Sabina through a friend when I needed to go out of town, and she not only walked and fed him, she understood and appreciated him-- AND gave me "New Mom" tips-- like keeping a throw rug under the sofa so he wouldn't slip on the wood floors and hurt himself while jumping off. I now have area rugs all over the house! I now call her regularly whenever in need. I am grateful to Sabina, and I know my pup is too. Thank you Sabina, for truly being my Pet's Nanny!

Sometimes I think my cat Boo Boo loves Sabina more than me! She has been taking care of my cat while I'm traveling for 3 years now. I always know my furry little friend is in good and loving hands with Sabina. The best!

Sabina is the person we trust most with our pets and our home. We travel often and I’m not sure we would get on a plane unless we had made prior arrangements with her. And she especially LOVES cats.

Sabina was awesome...promt on our first meeting and very thougtful asking things I forgot about. I was sent pictures of my pets doing what they do best, and looking happy and very well cared for. One of mine needed shots twice a day....I had no worries which was refreshing given some past experiences. I would highly recommend Sabina for taking care of your pets and respecting your home in the process. 🙂🙂

She’s extremely knowledgeable about how to care for dogs, flexible with my timings, and just an overall pleasure to talk to. We recently picked Lucy up from a 16-day stay, and not once over that period was I worried about how she was doing. Anna Marie went above and beyond - she sent frequent photos and videos, brushed her out daily, worked on commands, and even took it into her own hands to figure out what food Lucy needed when she was being a picky eater. To tell you that I was such at ease knowing she was in Anna Marie’s care is an understatement. I am so grateful to have found her and Happy Heart Pet Care. I am an EXTREMELY over protective Dog Mom to my 5 yo French Bull Dog Brodie. I have been searching for a dog sitter and trainer for him as long as I can remember, but I’ve never been satisfied leaving my fur baby until I found Happy Heart Pet Care. I will say I love to spoil my boy and only the best will do, however, this also meant he got away with a lot more behavioral wise then he should. So I needed to find someone knowledgeable that I could trust with my boy… I haven’t been able to find someone reliable that not only had the experience to help train Brodie, but that I felt comfortable trusting to care for him. Anna Marie checks all the boxes. She not only has helped with Brodie’s training, but I trust her to care for him as if he was her own. She is truly our dog nanny! Brodie loves Anna Marie and he has become such a better behaved boy since he was introduced to her training and care. Having a person who not only will train your dog, but love them the way you would is priceless. He respects her and she has a great relationship with my boy teaching him with obedience training and socialization. All the dogs she cares for are very well behaved so he has her pack to learn from as well. She also is a great resource for a number of suggestions and advice with regard to your pets health and well being. She is always the first person I call or text to ask any questions with regard to his health or needs, which is invaluable. She is one of the most kind and understanding people I’ve met in LA and I have no doubt I would ever find someone who cares or loves Brodie more as a trainer or dog nanny than her. Needless to say I highly recommend Happy Heart Pet Care. Your life will be easier with your dog if you use her, trust me!

So grateful to have found Happy Heart Pet Care--they are the best! I have an adopted pound dog who is super skittish (and bark-y) with new people and for the past 4+ years, has not been comfortable with other dogs. She LOVES Anna-Marie and Matthew and, after just three visits, she is already changing in wonderful ways--less skittish with new people and excited to play with other dogs, which I never thought possible. Anna-Marie is incredibly kind and accommodating, thoughtful about introducing new dogs to their environment, and thoughtful of skittish human owners, sending them photos of their happy dogs. I contacted them because of the consistently amazing Yelp reviews (a rare thing), without realizing they're on the west side of LA. My dog and I are way on the east side, but still travel there because knowing my pup is safe and happy with people she loves and who genuinely care is worth everything.

Matthew and Anna Marie are both so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about dogs. Their love for our 9week old Darcy is so heartwarming! I certainly had my concern leaving a young puppy with other people for a week, but Matthew and Anna Marie stayed very communicative. They also helped me on getting to know/adjust for a puppy. I could see Darcy was so well cared for through photos/detailed text updates. Truly appreciate their existence 💙

Anna-Marie took care of my 1 year old shih tzu puppy, Tater Tot, for almost 3 weeks while we were away. She was wonderful as she was very flexible with drop off/pick up times, and gave Tater Tot lots of love but also trained him! Tater is much more calm and well behaved now! He was brushed everyday, made many new dog friends, and enjoyed his walks. Anna-Marie updated us with cute photos and videos of him and we can’t wait to have him back with her again!

Where do I start? So thankful for Matt and Anna Maria. Matt has been a life saver with behavior modification with my sweet girl Cocoa. Cocoa is a hyper-vigilant rescue pit, with a few social challenges. Matt not only was able to with patience and professionalism, earn her trust, and help with her behaviors, he was also able to teach me, ways to manage when she and I are in the wild. He is very hands on, and teaches key fundamentals when handling a dog, and working with the world around them. I literally on multiple occasions have been able to handle situations without panic and stress due to Matt’s training. Cocoa also has been managing her stress better as well. You are equipped with the knowledge literally after just one session, the most rewarding thing is seeing the transformation in Cocoa. She has come such a long way. Happy Heart Pet Care has been a blessing. I highly recommend. 10 out of 10!

I highly recommend this company not just as a dog trainer but for all your pet care needs. They do training, dog sitting, walking, and even cat sitting. They are highly experienced and had my aggressive rescue dog showing improvement after just a few sessions! I’ve also used their services when traveling. They send updates on the pup and make sure he is very well taken care of. Highly recommend them!!

We found Anna Marie on Yelp and trusted the good reviews she had- it was the first time we left our puppy with someone she didn't know and in another city. We loved Anna the first moment we met her, she was super kind, and you could tell she had a lot of knowledge and experience with dogs. We saw our puppy liked her from the very beginning and felt safe with her- we left her one full day and, when we picked her up, she was super happy and looked like Anna took great care of her. I highly recommend her; she is amazing!

Our two pups were so well taken care of and Maiara provided the peace of mind so we could actually relax on our time away knowing that our dogs were cared for as if we were there ourselves. One of our pups is a senior (15.5 year old husky!) who takes medication and Maiara was amazing and patient with him. Senior pups come with their whole own set of special needs and she showed so much compassion and genuine love for dogs. First time Westcoast Paws client and the pet sitter was contracted for 9 days, 2x day, 30 minutes each visit. Wren stayed 8-12 minutes on average and did not show up one full day. She left the door ajar one time, and one cat got out. Luckily, she was able to get her back inside. I explicitly told her we have coyotes in the neighborhood, and on my block, four cats and one dog have gotten caught in the past 3 months. Per the contract, she was to feed the cats and clean the litter box daily, and make sure the water bowl was replenished. Food was set out, labeled along with measuring cup. She managed to feed one cat six cans of prescription food and a large bowl of prescription food, which was an insane amount of food for nine days - The floor around the auto water bowl was overfilled and water on the floor. Westcoast Paws promised pics and updates on how the kitties were doing, but I received zero pics and one update from Adam. Thank God for Ring video. The owner of Westcoast Paws, Adam, was a delight to speak to, but unfortunately, he has to bear some of the responsibilities. Dog walkers & cat sitters are entering our homes and trusted with our beloved pets. I dont believe Wren cared for cats. How difficult is it to clean a litter box.. I told her that one of my cats would NOT use a dirty litter box and that he would poop on the floor if the litter box was dirty. That's exactly what happened! Not once did she clean the litter boxes. We agreed that she was to come no later than 10:00 am and no later than 9:00 pm. She arrived after 12:00 noon and again 6:00 pm or 8:00 pm. One day she arrived at 12:00 and came back at 4:00 pm and the next day 12:00 pm! Never again. Never! If I could edit my review on Thumbtack, I would.

We had the pleasure of working with Adam and his amazing team member, Evelyn, for the past several months, and I couldn’t be more appreciative of their support. Both my partner and I have just had such a wonderful experience. Evelyn has been an absolute gem. Our dogs adore her and get so excited every time she arrives to take them out. She’s always on time, super reliable, and really takes the time to make sure the dogs are comfortable. Esther took wonderful care of my two green parrotlets. When we got home they were so calm and happy. I could tell that they had been well treated. The cages, seed trays, and water were clean. The birds are not always easy to care for because they are little nippy escape artists. My husband and I were very pleased.

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with Adam and his wonderful team member, Evelyn, for several months now, and I can’t express how grateful I am for their help. My partner and I both suffer from chronic illness, and while we do everything we can to care for our two long-haired Chihuahua boys, Wally and Reishi, sometimes it’s just too difficult to take them on the long walks they love so much. Adam, the owner, and his team of reliable, responsible, trusted, experienced and loving pet caretakers are exceptional and the only petsitting service I employ and will ever employ. It's clear to me that Lady Baba, my 4 year old and very particular cat (with an even more particular owner), feels genuinely comfortable with them, as she actually let's them pet her and comes to greet them upon first introduction - which is very unusual for her. Adam arranges for an intro visit where you get to meet the sitter, introduce them to your baby, and show them around and walk them through the caretaking protocol. When I met Remal, I knew she was a winner from that very moment. Even when Remal wasn't available, Adam sent another INCREDIBLE petsitter, Natalia. And when neither of them were available (it was a very last minute booking and over a holiday weekend), Adam pulled through with another amazing and loving petsitter, Paula, yet again. Oh, and he is very accommodating to helping you out last minute. Haha. I couldn't recommend Adam and his wonderful and lovely network of petsitters at West Coast Paws more. Charlie is so helpful and takes the best care of pets. My cat Gnar gets so happy when she goes there and Charlie’s boarding is so helpful throughout the boarding process. I can’t say enough good things! It was very last minute and Charlie was able to take care of our cat with update videos and texts! She came to our rescue and took care of our pet at our home while we were away and even spent some time with her and gave her some good company. Charlie is very sweet and loves kitties! I’m excited to also set up boarding even when I’m not on a trip so my cat can socialize in a safe and clean environment. You can tell Charlie really cares about all animals and goes above and beyond to make sure they are taken care of and safe. My cat is shy so I was concerned about leaving him while traveling. Charlie provided a safe environment where he could get comfortable, roam freely and make friends with other cats boarding with her. From the video updates I received, I could see that Rocket loved his staycation and highly recommend Charlie's Feline Services!

Charlie is excellent! Nice, clean place where my cat could roam around or hide if needed (which wasn't needed). Charlie sent videos and photos each day and even gave me a personality profile check for my new cat as I get to better understand him. My dog has been going to Whitaker Dog day camp for 2 years. She has made many doggie & human friends. She loves to play in the fun playground groups. In summer, they swim in pools & run to their hearts content! The staff is well-trained, organized & Dog lovers. Plus the Van Pick Up & Drop off is swift and easy. The drivers are Paw-some! I would highly recommend this Day-camp to anyone wanting to pamper, socialize, exercise and stimulate their minds. Since my dog has a ton of energy. All of this daily activity keeps her calm, which is wonderful. I am grateful to have found such a great team that I trust with my furry daughter. TY WDDC

This may be long….in a good way.. My review will be focused mainly on Board and Train as that is our most recent experience with Whitaker. Our dogs are already members of their pack for daycare — sign up, trust me your dogs will thank you! Our dogs were most recently in board and and train for 4 weeks. We decided to try boarding as we had complete trust in Whitaker and thought it was the perfect opportunity for some training as well. We have 2 dogs with very different needs and personalilties. We have struggled with multiple trainers over the years, in particular with our leash reactive dog. We have never actually been helped nor has he. For anyone with a reactive dog, you know it is a beast, can feel very isolating, and there are so many opinions about how to handle it. We feel like we wasted valuable time with others; however, we have always wanted the best for our dogs. Whitaker has always been a positive place without judgement especially for our reactive dog. They gave him a chance way back when, when no body else would. So when we recently left for vacation, we reached out to find out what our options were. We were connected with their lead trainer Matt. We had a phone call and an in person meeting with him and I thought OMG … could this be our trainer?? He was calm, practical, honest and informative. You could sense his love for dogs immediately. I was very nervous releasing my dogs because they are like my kids, but I knew that this was going to be great. Let me tell you … I received a video message within hours of the dogs settling in and walking on a treadmill … I was in shock, in a good way, that my dogs could do that! LOL. Matt was completely accessible to us - for questions, check-in’s if we missed them etc. We received fantastic videos of our dogs on their training journey weekly which my whole family lived for. I felt at ease knowing someone like Matt was looking after my dogs. My dogs were doing things I never thought was even in their cards. My reactive dog was passing other dogs on leash, calm and engaged, sitting in place outside of a dog park without issue. Was he perfect? … no and Matt was not afraid to show us or tell, because it is all learning for our dog. I could see the work in daily disciplines that Matt had put in, the foundation was there and well rounded. I was so happy! Our other dog is a stranger danger dog. At the end of her training she was able to be in a highly stimulating area, set up with her own “Help Train Me” booth! Strangers were involved in helping my dog overcome her issues with people wanting to make eye contact or pet her. By the end she had a line of people wanting to help! It was amazing! Was she perfect? - no, did she completely relax by the end and enjoy it.. YES! The work was there, it was amazing! Our dogs came home with such a better understanding of what expectations are surrounding behavior in and out of the home. It was OUTSTANDING. Matt truly set us up for major wins and continued success with our dogs! We have finally found our trainer! Matt is the real deal, in a city full of make believe and we could not feel more fortunate that we were able to connect with him through Whitaker. I feel confident that he will remain accessible, be there for us and our dogs which is not been the case for some many years. With his program at Whitaker you get the full package, they are not just trying to sell you something to take your money and run. They are all invested in the well being of your dog and family.

After over a year of consistent care, I’ve come to sincerely appreciate Whitaker. The pick up and drop off service is a lifesaver but the drivers/caregivers are really fantastic and a pleasure. The trainer Matt is extraordinary - wish I could share Codey’s massage video. Can’t figure out how to do so here but no words for how sweet and adorable it is.

I’ve trusted my dog with the daycare and grooming team at Whitaker for over a year now and I have nothing but great things to say about them! They clearly care about my pup and I appreciate all the extra services they offer. Cooper always comes home happy and tired. If I ever would like an update on how he’s doing, they don’t hesitate to give me one. Highly recommend to anyone in the area in need of dog care!

Whitaker Dog Daycamp has been a dream for our two pups! Everyone who works there is wonderful, kind, and my dogs run off to daycare excitedly everyday. I didn’t initially think I needed the pick up/ drop off aspect, but man is it a lifesaver. Makes things so easy and the employees are all so helpful if I ask for water bowls to be filled or lights turned on, should we be home later. Have only had wonderful experiences with Whitaker!!

Excellent place for dogs. My dog was comfortable and happy the whole time he was at camp. He had so much fun. I got photos and videos every day and was able to stay updated with him to know he was safe, cared for, and having a good time. I highly recommend Whitaker. Excellent place. All the staff is extremely kind and friendly too.

Been taking my dog there for over a year and I love Whitaker!! The pick up and drop off is a life saver with my busy busy schedule and outrageous hours. My dog gets so excited when they come pick her up. The drivers are amazing and even take my girl out before putting her back inside and make sure her water bowl is full. I wish I could give 100 stars, Marc and Lori have become like family to our mini Aussie Pepper, and for our dog it’s like going to camp not a kennel. There are no cages, just two dog lovers with a nice house and yard for your furry friend, steps away from an off leash dog park, that they visit frequently. The cost can’t be beat and the quality of service is top notch- they handle special dietary needs, and are always around to supervise the dogs, and Pepper plays with other dogs all day and has a blast. They have an early drop off time at 9am and a late pickup time available, and do both overnight rate or discounted day only rate. They send pictures and video of the dogs day. We love these folks and the freedom they give us to go on adventures that don’t allow dogs from time to time.

Sarah did an excellent job watching my goldendoodle for a few days, I was updated throughout each day with photos and Sarah was very responsive with any questions I had. Sarah provided more than adequate amounts of exercise and stimulation for my energetic dog through long walks, playing fetch, and playing with chew toys inside. My dog was in healthy and happy shape when I picked him up and I would gladly board with Sarah in the future!!

We are very pleased to have found a private home with a cage free pet sitting environment. Marc and Lori are attentive, interact with the dogs, take them to the nearby dog park, and send us photos of the dogs interacting and having fun. We also feel comfortable leaving our two dogs with them during vacations. Additionally, theprices for pet sitting and boarding are reasonable.

Sooo happy to find such a great place to board my cat and dog. It's a private home and totally cage-free. The sitter is really great! I was really nervous about leaving them but they we're really well taken care of, actually they we're totally spoiled because when I came back from vacation to pick them up, they didn't want to come home! I recommend 100%. Absolutely the best dog boarding and cat boarding ever!

I recently moved to the San Fernando Valley and my experience with leaving my cat in Mona's care could not have been better. She is very accommodating and cared for my cat like it was her own. The rates are affordable and she's reliable when it comes to texting updates and always replies promptly. Very professional, safe, friendly, and overall I was extremely pleased.

I'm so happy that I found the best pet sitter ever! This is a wonderful caring home that hosts a few dogs or cats at a time. The sitter is always spending time with them. They were very well taken care of and I couldn't have asked for anything better.

We boarded our cat at Cateau Marmont and it was such a positive experience. They really spent a lot of time individually caring for our pet who has a hard time adjusting and traveling to a new place. They were very communicative with us and the camera system worked very well. We’ll definitely bring our cat back!

This is the BEST cat grooming facility I’ve ever been to. Extremely friendly staff, very reasonable pricing, and they do such an amazing job. I recently moved from North Hollywood, but I continue to drive my cat to this location because I don’t trust anyone else to do that type of jobs that they do.

My cat Charlie has stayed here multiple times including her last stay of 20 days. She always comes home happy, and looking well. The staff are very kind and are obviously people who love cats.

This place is the most catastic place for any kitty to stay. The kitty accommodations are ameowzing. There are private bungalows as well as catmmunity rooms for social kitties in group play. They have cat tv, a giant fish tank coffee table in the middle of the group play room which the cats LOVE. Not to mention multiple bird feeders outside all the windows for daily bird shows that all the kitty’s enjoy. It feels like a home away from home for Cats. Kitties can also relax on the couch with the staff aka “kitty care girls”. Play & Love is free !!!!!!! I also have been bringing my Persian Cats in for grooming there for years now. They LOVE Kirsten. She’s truly an artist, always making them look gorgeous. I highly recommend the Cateau Marmont ! There’s no place like it that I have seen in LA for CATS! 😻😻😻😻😻

They really seem to care about the pets that stay with them. Love that some rooms have a webcam so you can see your pet while away. Have used them several times and will definitely use them in the future!
