Caring and loving pet-sitter.
Francesco has been taking care of my furry babies and my place while I'm away for well over a year now, and I couldn't appreciate him more. He is a joy to communicate with, and the most reliable person one could hope for. Being able to count on him while I'm traveling makes a world of difference, because I know I don't need to worry about anything while I'm away. Benny and Zumba love him and are very well taken care of. I know because I come home to two very relaxed and happy kitties. I am super grateful to have found Francesco!

Raining cats and dogs? say no more
Joe took great care of our cat Goose and left our apartment cleaner than when he arrived! This is our second time having him stay, and Goose loves having him around. Joe sends lots of videos and photos so we feel so comfortable leaving him in his care. We're grateful for his excellent service and would have him back to look after Goose again!

Mature, reliable sitter who looks like this site's "How It Works" cartoon Martin
Eric is a wonderful sitter! I knew he would be great after I saw all of his 5 star reviews. When I first talked to him, Eric was very amiable, and asked all the right questions, which showed me that he had read through the listing and paid particular attention to the types of pets that we had and their particular quarks. Eric took the time to meet with me as needed before he came to the place. He was always happy to meet me at the times/days I requested. We had to catch a ferry and it was prebooked, Eric was very flexible and allowed for plenty of time to arrive at our home for us at arrive back so we did not have to worry about the dogs being alone. During his stay, Eric made sure that the dogs were walked and properly attended to. One of our dogs requires daily medication and Eric did a great job with that. One of our boys was a bit whiny during the stay and we had a chat about it, Eric solved the problem during his stay. One the day we came home, Eric offered to launder the sheet and towels which was a such a relief to me a I had so much to do when I got home. One of the best things that Eric did was take our dogs for one last walk right before we came home so that we did not have to attend to them after our long journey. When we got home, our house was clean, our dogs were happy and tired and we were extremely pleased. Be sure to book Eric if he enquires about your listing!

The house sitter that is also a jack of all trades, master of many. Main focus.
Pearl was a good pet sitter. She kept us up to date on her arrival and departure, as well as updates on our cat, with photos! She was quick to respond, and left the place exactly as it was left.

Reliable, caring house sitter to take care of your companions while you are away
Florence was a wonderful sitter - communicative and independent. Zampina was in great care while we were away and showed no signs on anxiety upon our return. I would definitely invite Florence to sit Zampina again in the future.

Renata did a fantastic job taking care of our dog, Lolita. She was easy to communicate with and adaptive to working out any situation that came up. She did a great job working with our often nervous, skittish fur-baby, who was very happy and comfortable with Renata. Definitely recommend!

Peter Swanson
Peter was a great sitter! Our dog and cat were very happy during his stay. Peter was also very communicative and flexible with his schedule, and left the house spotless. We will definitely have him stay again!

I went overseas for a week and was a bit nervous to leave my dog for so long. Zoe was perfect and put me at ease. She was on time and easy to schedule with; she kept my home tidy and kept Kinoko fully entertained and cared for. definitely recommend her! 💜🐶

Adventurous, reliable and ready to care for your pet and home.
Carol was a great Housesitter! She cared for Iris as if she were her own and always kept me updated on how she was doing. I came back to a super tidy house and clean sheets on the bed which was so nice after being delayed for a while on my way home. Carol is a pro pet and housesitter and I could not recommend her more for any upcoming travels you may have, your pet is safe with her!

Sahar and Puya are the absolute best! Look no further! This is who you want to care for your furry friend and your home. I have used this platform many many times, and I have never felt my pup was more loved and cared for than when she was in their care. We were gone for a week, which can be worrisome to leave your pup that long. Let me tell you - I did not worry, not once. They sent frequent updates and photos and took my Luna to many of her favorite places. They also took such wonderful care of our home - it was cleaner once we returned home than when we left it. Incredible communication, organization, care, and cleanliness. A 10/10 sit. We would have them back any time. Sahar and Puya, thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so good to my girl!
We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!
honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.
This was our first time using a pet or house sitter and the bar set by Leslie is very high! She is warm, friendly, communicative, responsible and very clean. Upon arriving, she immediately bonded with our rat terrier, Oreo, by bringing him a new frisbee (his favorite toy/activity) and throwing it for him in our backyard. Leslie has a sweet and mellow dog, Benny, who is now Oreo's new buddy! She kept my husband and I updated via texts/pictures of their daily activities, our house, and was proactive in asking questions before she left. She even dropped our dog off at the kennel for one night at the end of our trip since our flight was too late for us to get home for him! Our home was clean and had fresh flowers from our garden that she put in vases for us! Such a simple and nice touch! We have asked Leslie to come back to sit for us again for 2 weeks in August. I'd highly recommend her to take care of your pet(s) and home too!
Angie and Joe were fabulous pet/house sitters and overall people! Angie sent daily updates with photos. Really appreciate the extra effort they put into watering the grass and garden. The house was exactly the same as when I left (including sheets/towel washed, beds made, frig cleaned, dishes put away and trash taken out...). Pretty sure Mia was looking for them the next day as she ran to the guest bedroom. Already scheduled a second sit! If you're lucky enough to land them as pet sitter then you're lucky.
Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. I’m very pleased and would both recommend her and love to have her again.
Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. The dogs loved her and the shy kitties came out of greet her mid stay. She left our home immaculate and well cared for. She is truly a winning pet sitter in our eyes! We hope she can come again sometime.
5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Tyler, THANK YOU for allowing us to enjoy a few nights for the first time in a decade! Dean & Diana Smith
Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish. We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again. If you are privileged enough to ever have Janis sit we are certain that you will be as delighted and happy as we are.
Jerry and Suzanne were absolutely ideal sitters for our home and pets. We spoke with them ahead of their visit and could tell that they are genuine pet and travel lovers. Over their stay we got to see even more that they are wonderfully friendly, kind, and responsible - plus they kept us laughing with their updates and descriptions of our pets' antics while we were away. Our pets and plants were well loved and our house was spotless upon our return home, and they were even kind enough to leave a few goodies in the fridge. Our dog in particular seemed to miss them and their long walks around the neighborhood. Thank you Jerry and Suzanne! We wish you well in your travels!
Shella was a great house sitter and I had no concerns leaving her in charge when we went away. She kept in touch while we were away and we returned to happy pets and a tidy house. What more can you ask?! I would be more than happy to welcome Shella back to house sit another time.

Daniela was quite lovely and very accommodating-offered to come pick up and drop off our dog. She gave us good feedback about how our dog was doing when we inquired. We will certainly plan to work with Daniela in the future!
Daniella was amazing with our high energy puppy! He absolutely adored her and came back happy and exhausted every time. She was very reliable and professional.
Daniella has walked my dog for over a year. She has also taken my dog to her home for the day and even overnight. She is trustworthy and most importantly, my dog loves her. She waits by the door for her every day!
It’s great to have peace of mind Knowing that my dog will be taken care of while I am at work in a professional responsible and caring way. Extremely reliable and always there when I need her.
We’re grateful to have found this service, excellent care provided.
Amazing Doggy Daycare! I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog receives at tails ! Charlie and JOSE are incredibly friendly, attentive, and clearly loves animals. My pup comes home happy and tired from all the playtime and activities. The facility is clean, well-organized, and safe, which gives me peace of mind when I drop my dog off. They even send updates and photos throughout the day, which is such a nice touch! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and loving daycare for their furry friend.
Above and beyond! Our seasoned dog trainer highly recommended “Tails r wagging” due to the exceptional staff. “Tails r wagging”genuinely cares about your dog having a fun and safe experience. Charlie always goes the extra mile in helping our puppy have positive social interactions. The communication is excellent and the staff truly LOVE to play with your dogs. Our dog is so much more confident around other dogs because of “Tails r wagging”.
I trust Tails R Waggin' with my fur baby 1,000 percent! Charlie, Jose and Heather are AMAZING- so kind, thoughtful, and truly invested in making sure your dog is safe and well-cared for. These pups get plenty of stimulation and play all day long, and Charlie is very communicative if you want to check in on your dog at any time. They were recommended to me by a family member and honestly, I wouldn't want to take my dog anywhere else. I don't have to worry when she's with this crew.
My dog LOVES tails! When I drop him off he doesn’t even look behind, instead he races to the entrance. He comes home tired and happy from playing with all the dogs. Charlie is fantastic! He takes an interest in the dogs, takes time to know their personalities and is interactive with the dogs. I have been taking my Ollie here for 5 years and I know he is well taken care by Charlie and his team! Highly recommend Charlie and his team at Tails!
Undoubtedly, the finest doggie daycare in town! This trusted establishment deeply cares for my two beloved Great Danes. Managing two large dogs requires expertise, and Charlie and the staff consistently impress me with their care. They proactively update me on my pups' well-being without prompting, showing genuine concern. Their transparent communication about daycare hours is commendable, ensuring all dog owners are well-informed. Anyone whose dog attends here is truly fortunate!!
My dog absolutely loves attending this fabulous daycare. It’s the highlight of her day playing with all her furry friends. Charlie and Jose are always warm and friendly and run a professional safe doggie daycare
We love this daycare for our pup! Charlie posts videos and reports on the day when it is pick up time. He makes it easy to communicate any time throughout the day. It makes life easier for us to know our girl is so well taken care of, but the real testimonial is our puppy's excitement when she knows we are taking her to see her friends. We are very happy to have found Charlie and Tails R Waggin!
Honestly, I can not thank Tails enough for being the best doggy daycare in the world! I’ve been being my dog here since he was 3 months old and they are truly the most caring, loving, and wonderful people. My dog starts crying and scratching to get out of the car door once we turn the corner because he is so excited to run up the stairs. It’s so easy to tell how happy he is and I feel confident they go above and beyond to make all of the dogs safe and happy all day long! They constantly post on Instagram so you can see your dogs running around playing and happy all day! I have three other close friends that use Tails and they are equally as happy. If you’re looking for a safe and fun dog daycare in the area, look no further this is your place!!
This place is a God send!!!!!! Several months ago, I took on my father's 10-year-old Labradoodle full-time, as our father is in the stages of dementia and could no longer care for her. I grew up with dogs and knew the responsibility would involve many adjustments. I was completely overwhelmed with this new responsibility while trying to manage my personal life, my freelance business as a makeup artist, and our five cats. I knew this day would come, and I spent two years acclimating our cats to his dog. I never once wanted to re-home his dog as she has been a part of our family since she was six months old. However, with my unpredictable freelance schedule, I needed a reliable doggie daycare. I had her at another place, but they spent more time on their phones than engaging the dogs. I asked for suggestions in a local FB group, and hands down, Tails R Waggin was repeatedly suggested. The entire staff is fantastic and genuinely loves and cares for your dog. They engage them, send you photos and videos occasionally, and constantly post on their FB and Instagram accounts! Every single review I read is 100000000% accurate! I highly recommend them!! Charlie, the owner, is the most fantastic human as well!!!!
I am so happy to have found Tails R Waggin. My puppy was so shy and afraid around other dogs. Now she runs right in and plays with the other dogs all day and comes home exhausted. I have said many times that I cannot believe the difference from when she started until now. Charlie, Jose and Heather are the best. They really care about the dogs and the people. You feel that from the moment you speak with them and meet them.
I was worried about how our new dog, Edgar, would be for his first bathing session. The folks at Pups & Suds made him feel comfortable and relaxed. They took their time and let him get acclimated. The price is reasonable, and he came out clean and happy. I had no idea how coat was so shiny.l!
I took my young rescue puppy here to get her first grooming done. At first i was nervous that she would give the groomers a hard time because she tends to be anxious, but the staff were amazing! They took their time with her and didn’t charge me extra for the time spent over the designated appointment due to her nerves and them needing to take it slow. This will totally be the groomers that i bring my pup to for her whole life!!!!!
Amazing! The staff is VERY kind, gentle and friendly! I have been to many groomers in the Westchester area and beyond relieved to have found Pups and Suds. They are clean, timely and make grooming a smooth process for you and your pup. Also, the cut is exactly what you ask for, they truly listen and care. THANK YOU!!
they always do a great job with my golden retriever. My dog generally hates going to vets and groomers but seems excited every time we go here.
Wonderful place! My dog Charlie has a lot of anxiety, they handled her with care and kindness and made her look nice and pretty. They are communicative, attentive and gentle. I definitely be coming back.
What a fantastic experience we had with Jessica and her staff today! Beautiful job!! Luigi loved his spa day! They are extremely courteous, professional, and kind. I highly recommend Pups & Suds in Valhalla.
Highly recommend Pups & Suds! Jessica is talented, kind and has an eye for detail. Our pup looked salon quality clean when we picked her up today and she was sporting an adorable Thanksgiving themed bandana to boot!! Thank you for the TLC, Jessica. We will definitely be back. ❤🐶 …
Great, awesome. Wonderful place to bring your pets. Family friendly , clean, professional. Dogs always come home perfectly groomed and smiling. Love this place. Easy, free parking as well.
They are great. Pipi bucks thought she was in the spa @ the four Seasons Hotel!
This was our first time with Pups and suds. We couldn’t be happier. Our dog looked wonderful, and the groomers were so friendly. They really cared about our sugar, and that’s the most important thing!!
I can’t say enough good things about Buddy’s Parking Lot! I’m so grateful I found this place for my dog Valentino, a 2 1/2-year-old Pomeranian, who has been going here since he was a puppy. After moving and trying several other daycares, it’s clear that none compare to Buddy’s. Valentino is never as excited as he is when he gets to Buddy’s Parking Lot, and his happiness shows every time I pick him up. The staff is incredibly friendly and caring, and I can tell they truly love what they do. Valentino has never suffered any injuries here, unlike other daycares we’ve tried. I highly recommend Buddy’s to anyone looking for a safe, fun, and loving environment for their dog! Thank you to all the staff Valentino loves you!
We absolutely love Buddy's! The staff love our Honey, and she loves them right back! She flies out of the car when we arrive and has to be carried to the car during pickup. Within just two visits, the staff know us by heart and treat her so kindly. Special shout-out to the grooming service, they did a beautiful job with her and even surprised us with just the cutest little bows.
Buddy's was recommended to us by our dog trainer after we were having bad experiences with another local daycare and I cannot say enough good things about this place. All the handlers know the dogs by name and I can tell the staff take the time to get to know the dogs and interact with them which gives me confidence in the safety of the establishment. Our dog Sophie gets so excited when we tell her she is going to daycare and comes home exhausted after such a fun day of play. We've only boarded her overnight once but she seemed to do well with it and I love that she's able to snuggle with the handlers!
I'm thrilled to share that Buddy's Barking Lot is truly the best cage-free doggy daycare in Westchester! My rescue pup, Barack, a 13-year-old Labrador mix who struggles with anxiety, absolutely adores this place. The caring staff and stress-free environment have worked wonders for my furry friend. I highly recommend it to fellow pet owners. Just remember to reserve in advance for holidays, as they fill up quickly due to their well-deserved popularity.
Best groomer Cody's had since he was a puppy. The daycare is great, it's like a doggy community room. Love it! Kudos to the crew of Buddy's
My dog loves going there but there are several things they could improve on. There is a lack of communication when it comes to emergencies. My puppy caught influenza from another dog there and they continued to allow symptomatic sick dogs to attend. Lastly, he has thrown up feces, so there is a hygiene concern.
I have recently started taking my Golden Retriever to Buddy’s. He jumps out of the car and struts in happily on his own, and is always excited when I pick him up. His exercise tracker tells me he plays all day while there. Happy to have found a daycare where he’s outdoors and not kenneled.
My Goldendoodle has been going here since she was 15 weeks old. She is now 2 1/2. I love this place. I know when I drop her off she is in good hands. She is always happy to go inside and that says it all. I also use their grooming service. Karen does a famtastic job and is done in 2 hours and my girl is 65 lbs and her ears and tail can be challenging as they tend to mat.
We drop our dog there for any length of time (within their long hours), whenever we need doggy daycare. Never need to call ahead for drop off or pickup and never a worry. The owners and staff are amazing. They also board. I will not have my dog "play" anywhere else.
Karen always does an amazing job when grooming Simba, you can tell how she genuinely loves her job and loves pets. I have been to other grooming places and he has never felt as comfortable as he does here. Highly recommended, great quality and great pricing !
I recently had the pleasure of using Evan’s Canine Care, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! This was our first time having someone take care of our bunny, and Evan did a fantastic job! He was so attentive and made sure our bunny felt right at home. Evan also lovingly cared for our toy poodle, Leo. We received regular photo updates, which my children absolutely adored. Seeing Leo so happy and well cared for put our minds at ease. Evan’s dedication and love for animals truly shine through in his work. I highly recommend Evan’s Canine Care for anyone looking for top-notch pet care! Thank you Evan!
Evan’s Daycare is amazing! First time leaving my dog at a daycare and I’m glad I came across his page. He’s very understanding and kept me updated with pictures and how my dog was doing. My dog had trouble with trusting men. I’ve seen progress after a day spent at Evan’s. I totally recommend reaching out to this daycare if you’re in need of a babysitter.
Evan and his girlfriend made an EXCELLENT job taking care of Havock. They were so attentive sending me pictures and videos of my dog during the day. Even though my dog is very anxious, Havock seems very happy with them. So grateful for your service 🙌🏼 1000/10 …
I can’t recommend the dog more!! The ease of scheduling boarding, the friendly and loving faces and vibes of the staff who pick up and drop off, and the amazing care they take of my dog is honestly priceless. I always feel so assured that my pup is happy and healthy when she’s at The Dog. They’re a home away from home for our Juju and I’m so grateful!!! Even as a Type A “dog mom” (lol) I don’t worry at all when she’s there. Hands down the best facility ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
We can't believe what The DOG accomplished in three weeks with our 7 year old hound mix. He characteristically displayed an exuberance everywhere, with everyone, at any time. They returned him to us with the same exuberance, only instantly responsive to a whole array of commands that neither of us could possibly have achieved while working full-time in and training him on the side. And we haven't even gone through the post-training one on one sessions that the group provides. Furthermore, the sense I get is that the dog really enjoys the structure and exercise of our min-training reminder sessions back at home. This group is absolutely worth every dime they charge, and probably much more.
Not helpful in training our dog. They Sent her home early from training because she was “too anxious”. Very expensive. I then paid a trainer elsewhere a fraction of the cost and they had my dog trained exceptionally well in two weeks time, an away from home camp. I regret spending the amount of money we did.
We had a very poor experience with The Dog. We had initially enrolled for 3 week training camp that comes with 4 in-home training sessions following camp, and upon thinking further about the rates being too high, we asked for camp to be reduced to 2 weeks and hence 3 in-home post training sessions. I found Joanne Neumann to be very rude since we reduced the camp duration. When our puppy came back home, the trainer who brought him home was really good, and we found the first 'in-home' session to be helpful. Upon giving that feedback to Joanne, she then didn't send that same trainer again saying he had left the company, which seemed strange. She came herself for the 2nd training, and that day I had a work call conflict, so I said I wouldn't be able to participate, but my husband would. She didn't react well to that at all, with obvious judgemental facial reaction. The in-home training was barely 20-25 mins (not an hour) and after that she never gave us the 3rd training session. I would not recommend the DOG to anyone who cares about spending their money wisely. DOG is VERY expensive and not worth it in my honest opinion.
My experience at The Dog was not at all what I was hoping for. I should have never sent him the first day, after I waited for his confirmed pick up for over an hour. When I called to check in, despite the pick up being confirmed they told me they do not pick up in my area and I would have to drive him. If I wasn't so eager by their sales pitch I would've (and should've) called it quits right then and there. When I got there they greeted me and took him right in, didn't apologize for the confusion or ask if I had any questions or anything. Scout was finishing medication for a UTI when he arrived and everything was fine, I had arranged with them to pick up a urine sample to bring to the vet 5 days after completing his medication. I called the day before to confirm I was coming. They said they had the catch tray ready for the morning walk and everything was all set. When I arrived it was freezing cold and to my surprise they had not done what we had spoken about just the day before. The girl there seemed very frazzled and handed me the tray and said I could walk him a bit, but that he had just been walked so might not go. My frustration was escalating very quickly. After almost 40 minutes of walking him I waited for someone to come out only to tell me he was going to have lunch and I should come back after, now this was a 45 minutes drive from my home, so I was not pleased. When I came back the girl there actually apologized for the hassle and mentioned they were short staffed due to a covid outbreak. Now every red flag in my head was going off and seeing as I was getting no updates on training I was done. I called them later that day stating I was coming to get him and he could go back when they were fully staffed. Once arriving home, he had diarrhea everywhere, which he did not have prior going The Dog. The vet diagnosed him with Giardia, which he did not have when he left for training. When I let them know they said it was impossible as they require a fecal test before arrival. Well, I never provided one because I was not asked to, so I would assume that was the case for other dogs there. At this point Scout could not return until his fecal test was clean, it tooks months and hundreds, if not almost a thousand dollars in vet bills to treat, on top of the thousands of dollars I feel I had now wasted on his training program. When Scout was finally cleared he went back for a week of "refresh" to finish his 3 week training. Upon returning home it continued to feel like wasted time. Everything that had been gone over with us was fine but he continued to eat everything including multiple leashes which they said he needed to wear at all times. Needless to say this was thousands of dollars, which I would love refunded, all for my dog to learn to sit. Now we are back at square one but this time at an amazing training facility where I am not only spending MORE money, but at least this time around I am feeling like it is not wasted.....daily photos, videos and every other day phone calls. It's amazing how communication really is key to success. I was very eager when Scout was a puppy to get him trained, and wish The Dog had had the decency to alert me of their staffing issues and inability to keep my dog healthy or fulfill their training obligations.
Excellent facility and the staff truly care about the dogs, they’re organized and on top of everything, and they’re positive reinforcement only, lots of other board and trains just put a shock collar on the dogs and shock them until they’re scared to do pretty much anything. I always recommend the DOG for board and train.
Best care for your dog. They're well loved and taken care of by the entire staff. 130 acres for dogs to play and train. They pick up and drop off your pet to and from boarding and daycare. Reasonable rates Great place!!
Staff knows and genuinely cares for our dog. A second number for our pet.
Heidi clearly had a wonderful experience during her 3 week camp and we are extremely impressed with her demeanor and ability to sleep through the night - all of the staff we interacted with were attentive and seemed to sincerely like what they were doing and clearly loved the dogs - - we look forward to boarding and day care experiences for her!
The dog is a beautiful place . The people who care for the dogs are such loving and caring people. You can tell how much they love the dogs when they interact with them. Would highly recommend this place .
Fantastic team and service! Donna took extra steps to determine the right person with the right experience for our anxious dog. Jennie is amazing with our dog, he gets so much attention and care with each visit.
I wish I could give Prima Donna Pet Services higher than a perfect review. Donna and her team are truly exceptional. I’ve been using her service to watch my 13 year old cat when I am out of town for the past year and a half. For all of us animal lovers out there, it can be so scary to leave your pet with (and to open your home to) someone you don’t know. But, from the moment I met Donna, I felt at ease. My cat, whiskey, opened up to her quickly as well. I love that they send pictures & notes about each visit. If you have any questions about how your animal is doing- they respond so quickly! They always go the extra mile to keep my house vacuumed, plants watered & any packages brought in. I am so so so grateful that I found Prima Donna Pet Services. They are the best sitting company in Westchester County. I ABSOLUTELY recommend Donna and her team to families with fur babies of all kinds!
I am pleased to say that my experience with Prima Donna Pets has been exceptional. My cat Kitty and dog Henry are taken care of so well that I never need to worry every time I go away. The bowls are thoroughly washed with clean water and food added, and Kitty’s litter box is tended to. When I met Henry’s dog walker he was happy to see her which shows how well he is treated....he obviously loves her. Thank you everyone at Prima Donna Pets.
Donna and her team took amazing care of our cat Maru while we were away for 5 days. The daily updates with pictures were great and we are very thankful for the amazing care for our Maru. We recommend their services wholeheartedly. Thank you again Donna and team!
Superb service! I trust Donna and everyone that works there with my dog, Daisy. They are all responsive, knowledgeable and wonderful people! Example: when Daisy recently had a health issue Donna was one of the first people I contacted for advice. I know that as Daisy recovers that everyone at Prima Donna pet services will take as good care of Daisy as I will.
We have been using Prima Donna pet services for about 3 weeks now and already feel inclined to write a 5 star review! Each dog walker has been amazing with my puppy, and I always feel confident leaving her in their care. They take the time to make sure my dog is comfortable and has her needs met, and they always give me a very thorough note of each dog walk! So thankful to have found them!!!
We live in the White Plains area. We are super grateful for Donna and her team to help us out with cat sitting. They’ve been cleaning things up and walking through the house every time they visit. And it makes our lives easier to travel and do other things when we are away. We highly recommended service.
Both Donna & Bob took great care of our cat Tobi a few months ago and they did a great job! She is extremely shy and does not come out often .. They reassured me through daily updates that she was eating & using her littler box regularly. I never had to worry while I was on vacation ! I came home to a very clean litter box and eating area! They were a pleasure to deal with!! Very professional!
These folks are the best! They send out reports every time they check in on dogs, and they include pictures. It's nice to see any photo of your pet during the day, but it's a shockingly nice perk that they have some truly excellent photographers on staff—some of the best photos of my dog were taken by Prima Donna dog walkers! As anyone with a pet knows, trust is really important when it comes to people that are going to be entering your home while you're not there and taking care of your beloved pet. Everyone Donna works with I trust implicitly, and it's difficult to put into words how much that means. Every time I read a news story of a walker from that Wag app losing a dog, I thank my lucky stars that we've got Prima Donna and they service our neighborhood. No joke—when we moved two years ago, a big part of our decision to stay close by was Prima Donna Pet Services. Can't recommend them enough!
Donna (and her team) are as professional, reliable and personable as they come! Izzie seems to look forward to every Wednesday so she can go play with Donna and her friends and comes home well-socialized and tired. I recommend Prima Donna to anyone needing help with their dog.
