I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!

Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!

Misti
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!

Lilly & Thomas
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.

Abi and David were FABULOUS pet sitters during our 5-day trip. They were devoted and fun dog walkers, park-goers and ball throwers. They communicated well and sent pictures. Our dogs were well looked after and we got daily updates on how the dogs were doing. Kyle was a great house sitter and pet sitter for us. We had a good dialogue prior to him sitting for us, and we also did a short walkthrough the week before. Kyle formed a great bond with our dog Charlie and also took good care of our rabbit Poppy. A couple of minor issues came up with systems in our home due to an unexpected power outage, and Kyle was quick to connect with us and then was able to work 1:1 with the service providers to resolve the issues. We were so happy to have Kyle as our house sitter for two weeks. Besides taking great care of our pets and our house, he was very accommodating. We were always able to get in touch with him if we needed to, and he agreed to take on some extra plant watering’s when the weather made a sudden change. Amazing experience! Five stars all the way... Nikki was kind enough to watch our two cats Thomas and Toby while were away on our honeymoon. From the very beginning she made us feel comfortable with clear communication and quick replies. Since she was local in Atlanta we got to meet her ahead of time and hand off keys before we left. While we were away she sent pictures of our little buds having fun and being themselves, so we always knew they were ok. She always showed up exactly when she said she would from pickup to dropoff and it was so incredible to know they were in good hands, and we never had to worry. They love being around people so for her to have been able to stay with them and love on them regularly we came home and could immediately tell both Thomas and Toby felt great as they were completely comfortable. Much much different than when we leave even for a few days and have a pet sitter stop by and feed them. She asked all the necessary questions in advance, so she didn't have to email or ask anything while we were away. She even took the time to make sure everything was neat and tidy, prepped the sheets to be changed, and was unbelievably sweet to get us a wedding gift we both love. Carla was wonderful! She was very accommodating and her facility was extremely clean. This was our first time leaving our pups overnight anywhere and I felt very comfortable leaving my babies with her (one of our dogs has bad separation anxiety). She’s in a great location and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
This is a fantastic place! I’m a very anxious pet parent and I get very nervous leaving my two small dogs for any amount of time, but felt great about the decision to board them overnight at Trailsend. The owner seems extremely kind and caring and the building is in great condition and well maintained. The kennels were all occupied when we were there, and none of the dogs seemed stressed or uncared for. I would absolutely board my dogs here again in the future.
I boarded my dog here when our usual kennel was full. I hadn't been aware of Trailsend until now. My boy was well taken care of and doesn't seem to be more annoyed than usual due to my choice. I will definitely use Trailsend again whenever my travels take me in their direction!

I'm very happy with Trailsend Kennel! My pup stayed 2 nights while we were in town for a wedding. Drop off was easy and put our minds at ease about leaving our pup. Carla listened to and read thru instructions I left. The kennel appeared extremely clean and well maintained. Pick-up was quick, with a brief summary of how our dog did. Cant say enough good things about this kennel. My 2 dogs are my absolute babies and i have a very hard time leaving them with anyone. Let alone a complete stranger when i am already out of my element being 3+ hours away from home. We were up in the UP for a snowmobile race my husband was racing in. We didn't find out until we were parking at the race that our dogs couldn't be there. So i dropped my husband off and left, trying to figure out what to do in order to still support my husband racing. I stumbled upon this kennel and reached out right away. Mind you it was a saturday morning around 9am. I got a call back maybe 30 mins later. They requested vaccination records which i was able to email over right away. and within a few mins of chatting i was heading that way to drop them off for "daycare". When i showed I wasnt worried at all leaving them. I filled out the paperwork and then headed back at their pick up time window and picked them up. The dogs seemed to have a great time and I was told they both did absolutely wonderful, which was surprising with the male having separation anxiety. I was told they are welcome back anytime and I will definitely be considering it again in the future if i ever find myself up there needing a dog sitter. I was also very pleased with it not feeling overpriced especially considering the area.
My wife and I were visiting Mac island for the day and needed a place to board our dog. The lady at TrailsEnd was amazing and our dog had a fabulous stay for the day. We didn't tell her, because we want to protect our dog, but he is a grand champion and comes from a bloodline of champions. My wife and I rarely board him and we check out the facilities with a deep background check. TrailsEnd had stellar reviews and we can see why. Our dog wasn't sure he wanted to leave...and he normally hates being boarded. If we ever head back there, we will board him again at their place. First class service and very friendly.
My parents had recently died and left me with their pets. I wasn’t able to being them into my house due to my pets “cats” had to leave them there couple of weeks. Rates were reasonable and the care…outstanding it was hard for me to get the Labrador to leave, lol. The owner truly cares for pets.
Be sure to call ahead of time to reserve a spot. We decided to leave him at the kennel while we went to the island since the weather was so icky and cold. The owner (I assume it was the owner) immediately greeted me when I arrived and took my boy out to the play yard before putting him in his kennel. He seemed well taken care of and was happy to see me when I went to pick him up. The only thing I would mention is to send bottled water with your pup if they aren’t used to well water. For what it’s worth it’s extremely affordable. I will be recommending this place for anyone visiting mackinaw with their pups.

This place was Tremendous!!!! They took great care of our kittycat, Matchka who was fighting mammary gland cancer. The woman who was running things was an Angel and let us visit her every morning. Matchka hissed at her & everyone else but this amazing woman lived Matchka regardless and took extra special care of her. I would recommend this place to everyone. Matchka had a better view than we did at our resort because she had a gorgeous view of Lake Michigan out her gigantic window.
The ownership and staff is so friendly and the best part is my dogs love to be boarded here! My dogs literally pull me into the facility at drop off.

They take great care of your pet. They love our pup and he is always in great shape when we pick him up. They do very well with pets who need medication and a little extra TLC. He loves this place!
Staff here are wonderful with the animals and spend a bit of time with each pet that is staying at their resort. The layout of the facility is great, insofar as when a cat comes in for a stay, s/he doesn't have to be taken past any barking dogs to get to her/his boarding area and vice versa. My cat was a guest here for about a week and I had an opportunity to go in to visit with her. The cat room was quiet and peaceful and the spaces were large and luxurious.
Easy to spot off of the highway. Plenty of parking and the owners do a very good job of keep spots open and snow and ice plowing in the winter. There are some very lively birds when you enter, as well as a few different knick-knacks to buy. Reasonable prices on these, but their bathing prices cannot be beat. My dog is always clean and fresh and a ton of hair removed from him. They send him off in a handsome little bandana and we keep coming back! I highly recommend this place! Very friendly staff and their work is wonderful!
I go to Walmart every 2 weeks. With the remodeling it has been talking a little longer. Hopefully they will be done soon. Then we will get more used to it.

Good place to board when going out of town for a few days. They are comfortable boarding Birds as well as cats and dogs, so that was a big plus for me. Right across the parking lot is a veterinarian's office so if you had an emergency there you'd be in luck.
What I like about this place is that my dog loves it. When I leave him it makes me feel better that I know he's in a great spot with people who really enjoy him. It seems to be more than just a job with all the people here and it shows.
