Past house sitters have found my dog Wilbur to be enjoyable to care for, however I recognize that not all pets and humans bond. I sensed that Brian did not really spend much time engaging with my dog. Wilbur had a sore eye filled with matter when I returned and Brian either didn’t notice or didn’t care to inform me of this. I had asked my son to come over for the final feeding/potty of Wilbur so Brian could leave early due to poor weather. My son misunderstood and came over a day early and notified me of Wilburs eye problem. Despite being there another day Brian did not inform me of the eye problem. The house had sticky dirty countertops in the kitchen and bathroom - linens were not laundered or changed out. Brian left items in the house, so overall not a great sit.

honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.

Angie and Joe were fabulous pet/house sitters and overall people! Angie sent daily updates with photos. Really appreciate the extra effort they put into watering the grass and garden. The house was exactly the same as when I left (including sheets/towel washed, beds made, frig cleaned, dishes put away and trash taken out...). Pretty sure Mia was looking for them the next day as she ran to the guest bedroom. Already scheduled a second sit! If you're lucky enough to land them as pet sitter then you're lucky.

Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! Rebecca was the best pet sitter ever! Our chocolate lab, Kona, fell in love with her instantly and loved every minute of being around her. She was extremely attentive to Kona, taking him for daily walks and she did a great job of sending us updates, video clips and photos.
