Our home is where we are
Edwin and Maxim were wonderful housesitters for us and were great companions for our little dog Toby. They spent about a month taking care of our apartment in Lisbon, Portugal and keeping Toby happy and without separation anxiety. Furthermore, they kept our large apartment spotlessly clean, going well beyond what would be expected to clean, polish, dust, and vacuum and maintain the kitchen and bathrooms perfectly. In addition, they made sure the car was started each week to keep the battery charged, collected the mail each day, and watered the plants on our balcony. Both Edwin and Maxim are charming with delightful personalities, and they are a pleasure to work with. In addition to providing excellent care for our dog Toby and the apartment, they kept us informed with near daily reports, photos and videos. We wholeheartedly give them our very highest rating and would be happy to have them back the next time we travel.

Jacki and Aaron looked after my two cats for three weeks this summer and I would have no hesitation in having them back again. The Most Responsible Person You'll Ever Meet
Our dog was i great hands with Christine, she was well looked after and cared for. We received pictures and updates. House and plants were just as well cared for, super tidy and considerate. Even gave us feedback as it was our first sit which helped a lot for the next (instruction manuals etc)

Elise is an amazing housesitter! I love to travel but I also love my cat, so only the best care is good enough for her. And that’s exactly what Elise provided. She even went above and beyond my expectations. From the very beginning, communication with Elise was smooth and easy. She was available, approachable, clear, kind, respectful, … in her communication. While I was away, she kept me updated with wonderful messages and pictures of my cat and the apartment, which allowed me to travel with a peaceful and carefree mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared for Ikea, as she took the time to play with her, cuddle her and spend quality time together. I returned to a very happy cat. Ikea even “told” me that Elise took very good care of her. 😻 Elise did also an outstanding job of keeping my apartment in perfect condition! We are very happy with how Martin and Corrie took care of our pets and house for 2 weeks while we visited family and friends. They arrived a day early for a meet and greet, gave us regular updates and were on point on health questions and administering daily meds to our senior dog. One of our cats is a bit shy, but he warmed up to them within a day. They left the house squeaky clean, tidied up and with all laundry done. Definitely recommend Martin and Corrie for your next housesit, their calm and caring nature is very suitable for any pet, especially shy dogs and cats.

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. The dogs loved her and the shy kitties came out of greet her mid stay. She left our home immaculate and well cared for. She is truly a winning pet sitter in our eyes! We hope she can come again sometime.

Melanie and Steve were excellent house & pet sitters. They sent me so many pictures of my 3 cats without me even asking and it made me so happy to see them enjoying their company. I'd say out of all the house sitters I've had, they spent the most time with my cats which means a lot to me. They are kind, easy to connect with and I'd welcome them back anytime. Andrea was the perfect sitter for our older Italian Greyhound and our shy cat. She followed every request to a “t”, and helped us to feel comfortable and care free for a long zeewoi. The communication of photos and videos were a warm reminder of how well they had been adjusting to our absence. Andrea showed care and consistent compassion for Darcy and Hammy. She seemed to enjoy them and our home as much as us! We returned to an absolutely spotless home, without anything left undone. She thought of everything related to us and our pets, so we could have a seamless late evening return. We highly recommend Andrea for any zeewoi, as she is a jewel. Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.

Farhan is a fantastic house sitter! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a down-to-earth, kind, and caring pet sitter for their home. We have three small dogs (around 6 lbs) and he took excellent care of them. They can be a little nervous/ timid around new people, and more so around men at times, but the dogs didn't show any of that nervousness around Farhan! He was gentle and respectful of their space and they warmed up to him immediately. I got a wonderful text the first morning that I was away that they cuddled up with him at night - showing how quickly they adjusted to him as their caretaker. I was able to meet Farhan in person before I left on my trip and I was able to have a wonderful conversation with an ambitious explorer. He is a delightful person. Upon my homecoming the house was very clean and the dogs were happy and relaxed. I can't ask for anything more! Thank you Farhan for taking such wonderful care of our three dogs and our home.

Heath spent a long weekend at my home taking great care of both dogs and the cat. He was able to help out on rather short notice, and I felt very comfortable leaving my pets in his care.
