Our dog has been attending 9th St for several years now and we absolutely love it. The staff is exceptional and they cater to each dog so well. A lot of the staff has been there the whole time we have, which speaks volumes to me. Our Dexter is a little rough around the edges and they accept him as is and meet him where he is. He absolutely loves going to “school”. We have tried a few other doggie daycares in the metro and 9th St is by far the best!!

Our dogs, Stark and Rhodie, love 9th Street Barking Lot! When they go for daycare, they always come home exhausted and excited after playing all day. They also have different yards for different size dogs, including a low energy yard. The staff is super friendly and always lets us know how they did each day. We also board them often and we never worry as we know they are in good hands. Saturday and Sunday pickup is also very convenient. Would recommend to anyone looking to have their dogs burn some energy during the work week or looking to board for several days.

A driver of one of their vans needs to not drive so aggressively and not run red lights. Illegal and unsafe driving looks very bad for a business with their name and website printed all over the van. Whoever was driving on the morning (about 7:50 am) of 12/13/24 on N Western Ave needs to learn how to legally and safely drive.

I bring my dog Koa here and the people know her name and make sure she has so much fun She has so much energy and sometimes plays to rough so they know immediately when to put her inside for a minute to calm down so she and the puppies can stay safe She’s tired every time she comes home

They're the best. It is literally the only place we will ever board. They know our dogs and love them like they're their own. Marie up front is just incredible. If you love your dog and want a spot to take them to burn off some energy or stay the night. Take them here.

Updated update: still love taking my dog here. he's getting older now and they take good care of him. he gets to stay on the mellow side of the fence. my dog hates the cold and he gets to stay in a heated indoor area and never seems stressed when he comes home. well worth the money for the peace of mind I get knowing my dog is well card for Update: my pooch has been going here now for about 3 years. he loves it and we really like the people here. I recommend them to everyone! My dog goes every day of the work week. He is so obviously happy when he comes home. And when we drop him off he pushes the doors open to run into the yard and never looks back. He used to have pretty severe separation anxiety, but is so much happier now that he has been going here. The people are friendly. And the dogs all look like they are really having fun.

We love 9th street! They take amazing care of our dog. They have wonderful facilities that are well-maintained. Their attentive and caring staff has been a blessing. We have boarded our dog there, and also send him to visit a few days a week, and fully trust them. Highly recommend!

The negative reviews on here are mostly lies. This place is great. Plenty of people watching the dogs. There is always water available.. you can see that from the street.. and they shelter your dogs in the heat/cold and in storms. It lives up to the hype. You'll know it's good because your dog will be so stoked to go they don't care they you just left them. Been taking my dog for three years and I can tell she's happy there.. also she told me.

We take our cattle dog for a weekly day with his friends. All the staff handle him with care and even called us when a scab came off his nose (he had spent too much time in the kiddie/dog pool). Picture of him on the way to 9th Street

This is the first dog day care my dog loves to go to!!! The staff are competent, super friendly, and really care about your pup’s well-being. I’ve boarded my dog here twice and each time she comes home happy and healthy. I trust them 100%. Love this place!!!

I came across Purrfect Pet Pal looking for home based pet sitting for my cat while we were away and I’m so happy that I did. From the beginning, Helen was so kind, professional, and responsive. Every visit she sent me updates, including pictures and videos. She not only made sure his basic needs were met (water, food, litter box), but she spent time playing with and brushing him. My cat was well loved on and cared for! I would definitely recommend her business to anyone with animals, for any of her services that she offers. Her business is amazing and we will for sure be using it in the future!

Our sweet Cane Corso was SO loved on while we were gone a couple times this last month! We got updates two to three times a day and tons of pictures of our sweet girl! I can't recommend Helen and Brian enough!! I wouldn't trust our big girl with anyone else!

I can't say enough great things about Helen and Purrfect Pet Pal! Having no human children, our furballs are our babies and we were extrememy anxious about leaving them for 3 days. After receiving several texts from Helen during her first visit, our anxiety vanished! Her excellent communication and photos let us know our "kids" were in good hands! Our 4 dogs are our babies and we have never boarded them before. We were extremely nervous at the idea and have put off traveling without the dogs for years. All of our dogs are rescues and 2 of them are very sensitive. We knew that there was NO WAY that they would be comfortable in a traditional kennel environment. And we couldn't stand the thought of leaving them in a concrete kennel with very little time outside or with too little human interaction. Our dogs are very human oriented and are extremely spoiled in every way. Once we met Helen and Brian, we quickly realized that they possessed a rare combination of genuine love for animals, professionalism, and reliability that sets them apart from the rest. We knew that PPP was going to be the best place to board them, BUT they far exceeded our expectations - which were already very high! We were sent dozens of pictures of our besties having a good time, multiple times per day! Helen and Brian spent the mornings and evenings cuddling with our pack and giving them tons of one on one time. They were also treated to special kibble toppers to keep meal time interesting. They treated them just like their own family, which made a huge difference in us being able to enjoy our family vacation with zero worry. Our dogs have a few quirks that require a very experienced dog handler, and of course, they were more than equipped to handle this as well. They really take the time to understand each pet's unique personality, preferences, and needs, ensuring that they feel safe, comfortable, and cozy in their care. Not only that, but being in a home environment vs a traditional boarding kennel made them feel almost like they were at home. We can't recommend Purrfect Pet Pal enough. A million stars!

Oliver's walks with Brian and Helen are the highlights of his week. We both look forward to them. Now we've added doggy daycare once a week and he's in heaven. He gets so excited to go and "play with the doggies".

We went on a week vacation to Cancun and it was a little nerve racking for me because I hate leaving my dogs! But I really appreciate so many things about the service this company offers. We received a variety of pictures throughout the day .. from playtime, watering plants, feeding dogs and naps. I had a rooster I figured could die any day and she randomly sent me a photo to reassure me. It just meant so much that she remembered that and it meant enough to her to send that. We even appreciated the lil notes around the house when we got home, thanking us for things or notifying us of information. We aren't smokers either. There's was no trace of anything.. smell ashes or butts. She was in charge of a lot in that week and when we received the numerous communications it just made the trip so much more enjoyable. When we got home it was nice to see everything thriving. Plants, birds, chickens and dogs. Highly recommend them! Thank you Puurfect Pet Pal for helping us have a relaxing 10 year anniversary trip!

Kim has cared for our American Bulldog, Sammy twice now for extended periods of time. Sammy is used to living on a farm (now we are in the city), and we weren’t sure how he would respond to someone else caring for him. Kim happily came to meet him and has the skillset to keep him calm and comfortable with her. A gift! We are so appreciative of her! Every time she visits him, she sends us detailed notes with pictures. She goes over and beyond by making sure he has water, belly scratches, toys and all that he needs to feel loved while we are away. Thank you, Kim!!!!

Kim always does a great job watching our dog! You can tell she really cares about him. She regularly gives us updates and photos and is even able to give him his medications! I would recommend her to anyone!

We have rabbits and chickens. When we travel, it was challenging to find a pet sitter who would take care of them. We have been so happy with the service provided by Phelps Family Pet Sitters. She arrives on time, takes great care of our pets, and sends lots of pictures and a summary of her visits. It’s so nice to have peace of mind when you are away from home that your babies are being well taken care of.

We moved to OKC from Tulsa, and it has been difficult to find a dog walker/sitter who can come during work time hours. We eventually found them and have so far really loved the care they provide our dog. We have an elderly dog who needs medication in the morning, is a picky eater, and needs left out about every 4 hours, so they are really good about providing that for us. We appreciate all they do!

Paula was professional at meeting us and discussing our dogs' feeding and exercise routines prior to the start of the job. She gave exceptional care, even playing extensively with our two golden retrievers, who both like daily active play retrieving tennis balls. She went above and beyond by cleaning and treating our dog's ear when it appeared to become infected. I appreciated her daily texts to assure us how are dogs were doing while we were out of town. Her attention and affection to our dogs was so appreciated! She truly is a "Pet Nanna".

Paula was INCREDIBLE with our two dogs and two cats! She took amazing care of them and our home for 6 days while we were on vacation and I didn't worry once! Our pets immediately fell in love with her and I could tell they felt safe with her. I can't recommend her enough, she is truly a delight and we will absolutely use her services every time we're away.

My husband and I went on a cruise and were gone over a week (9 nights). My two cats were visited and "loved on" for over an hour every single day. I didn't worry the entire time I was gone. Paula is absolutely the best! She loves animals and treats mine like her own. I work far enough away where I can’t let my crated naughty dog out to potty at lunch, so I hired Paula. She walks both of my dogs and plays with them. It was the best decision I’ve ever made for my pets’s well being. My dogs love her and I will keep using her for my pet’s needs!

The Pet Nanna is amazing! Paula helped me out as a new client on short notice and took care of my dog with so much love and attention. She went above and beyond with the care she gave to Nacho, and made sure to keep me updated on how he was doing the entire 4 days I was out of town - complete with cute pictures of my sweet boy. Nanna Paula is the absolute best there is!! She truly cares about all the animals and treats them as if they were her own! Paula is great about communicating and also sending pictures. My favorite thing is when I come home and see her lipstick on the top of my dogs head, I know she loves them and they love her dearly as I can see them on my camera sitting at the door waiting for her😊 Paula is also very flexible and accommodating when she is able and I highly recommend her to love and care for your pets❣️❣️

Paula has been watching my baby Nico since September on 2020. He absolutely loves her and honestly that’s all the confirmation I need. If your dog doesn’t like their sitter as if they were their second owner then that’s a red flag to me. She’s super flexible (like on days I have last minute work call ins), affordable, and knowledgeable on breeds/dogs in general. She has been working with dogs her whole life so if anything is wrong with my boy I’ll text her for advice. Her daughter Alyssa has recently joined her team and is just as great as her momma! They send me picks during the day and a daily update on their day 💜 she even offered to take him and pick him up from daycare since my hours were so weird when we had considered doggie daycares. But honestly he’s done great with just her. She’s super kind and will love on your fur baby like it’s her own.

Paula has been taking care of my very anxious dog, Monroe, daily for nearly a year, and she cares for him like he is her own. I am a medical student, so my schedule varies greatly, and she has always been great about working with me. She communicates effectively and is great about letting me know how he is doing from an anxiety standpoint daily. Monroe takes a while to warm up to people (several months), and Paula's experience with rescue animals with trauma was essential while he was warming up to her over the first few months. She was very patient with him and let him warm up to her in his own time. Monroe now loves Paula, and I can rest confidently that he is well taken care when I'm not there. She is very reliable and goes above and beyond for her pet clients, and I'm sure would do a great job with your pet, too.

We have used Cindy for many years on our Golden doodle but this past year, she has cancelled on us 3 times and our dog has yet to be groomed. We will not be using her anymore or recommending her to anyone. I can’t express how unprofessional it is to wait till the day of to cancel on us saying she has back problems, to cancel on us when we drive 30 mins and are at her door with our dog (saying she’s had the flu for 6 weeks). She also takes 10 hours minimum to groom our medium sized golden doodle. We are so disappointed in her and feel so upset to be treated with no regard. Please don’t waste your time with her. It will only end in disappointment.

Amazing place to have your dog's groomed. Cindy is very kind and the dogs love her. Prices are very reasonable. I recommend scheduling an appointment at least a week or so ahead because it can get very busy. Cindy also gives your dog's a nice little treat bag, which is a nice gesture.

Cindy is a GODSEND! She is so knowledgeable and kind, and wonderful with a pair of scissors. Just talking to her about my pet's care and health shows how deeply she cares for my puppy, and all animals in general. I had not take my dog to a groomer yet since I had adopted her, so this being our first experience I think we both were a little nervous. Cindy was so patient, and took the time to ask what I wanted for my pet to get out of her grooming. She explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions with no judgement. With 25+ years of experience with animals, she was very loving and willing to make the grooming experience specific to my pet's needs. I will not take our dog anywhere else as long as we live in OKC. We LOVE Cindy, and so does our pet! ☺

This is a difficult review to write because she really was a sweet lady. I had an appt at 2pm, and she said they would be done by 6... When I got there, one of my dogs was cropped practically down to skin after I asked for a teddy bear cut, and sitting in his own urine in a kennel. And she was doing a bouffant on my toy poodle, after I specifically asked for a puppy cut but keeping and shaping the top knot. She called me and said that it was going to take a little longer than 6... I decided to drive over there at 7:45 and sat in her driveway until 9 o' clock after which I told her that we had dinner plans and I needed to take them... On the plus side, she is very cheap... But there's a reason for that. I have no doubt that she would do a great job with other styles that she is more familiar with because there were several poodles and a shi-tzu there that looked well groomed... But, I can't, in good conscience recommend this groomer... This incident made me buy a set of professional clippers and blades, I'm just gonna have to do it myself...

My dog hates the groomers, but after seeing how wonderful she was with my two I will now bring them more frequently. You can tell she loves animals and understands the importance of your animals comfort when in a foreign area. She sprays the lawn for fleas, she loves on your pets for you, makes them smell o so good, and sends them home with a cute bandana and treats. She was so sweet. Best grooming experience ever.

Ms Cindy wonderful! My pets wag their tails when we pull up to her business , that says a lot!!!! She is very sweet, kind and honest. She always tries to fit my Allie and Bentley in, even if I call in short notice. She is sometimes slow, but heck, with my pups.. slow is good! My Allie is such a handful, and when she is finished with her, she is the cutest little thing ever. I love that I am supporting a local small business, and not a large corporation and Ms Cindy has amazing affordable prices as well. I highly recommend her.

I absolutely adore Cindy and she is wonderful to my 5 year old kind of snippy Maltipoo! She's very efficient and my puppy always comes home looking adorable and sharp. Reasonably priced and she is absolutely great at what she does!

my dogs eye was swollen shut for two days and he couldn’t sit correctly from how many times she had cut him. he is never a troubled dog when he gets his haircut. he got ear mites and fleas after i had brought him there. i’m not one to complain but i called them about it and she had nothing to say. BE MORE SANITARY! now i have to spend so much money to get him fixed up

Job was done on 6-12-21 Cindy was called about a our dog and asked if she could groom a labradoodle as nd she said yes. She was given specific instructions to trim the body at s as bout 1 inch. Or s little more. To leave the face longer and trim his body and pottie trail. She even repeated the instructions back. But we did not get the job we asked for. When my mother picked him up his hair on his body was so short on his body that he had red razor marks from the electric razor. Nothing on his body was trimmed the same length. The hair at its longes was at 1/4 of an inch or less not the 1 inch we asked of. His body hair was so hacked up that it looked like a 2 year old did it.

I have been using Kim and her team for at least 5 years. They are fantastic with my dogs. My dogs warmed up to Kim immediate on her very first visit. She sends photos daily of our dogs so we can see how they are doing, so thoughtful as it hurts me more I think to be away than it does for them. I seriously will not use anyone else. This company is fantastic and I highly recommend them.

We could not possibly be more pleased with Edmond Critter Sitter! We have been working with them for about the past month and they have been perfect. We have a new Golden Doodle puppy and Kim and Claudia have been coming by to walk him twice a day. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found them - highly recommend!

Not only last minute but it was getting late when we had an emergency and needed somewhere to take our dog who is never away from us, however we called and Amberlyn and her husband Jordan who were happy to meet her and keep her over night. I might have worse separation anxiety then our dog but it was such a relief to meet Jordan and know Sadie was in good hands! We got pictures and updates on how she was doing through out her short stay which was awesome we were able to handle our situation and not stress about our dog. They treated her like their own giving her love and attention. We now know where we will take her from now on when we need to.. I definitely give them a10👍😀 we will make sure all our friends go to them!! Thank you both so much

After Airlines was diverted from landing in Dallas from Seattle and then cancelled because of weather, airlines reached out to Amberlyn to Kennel my new baby. I drove from Dallas to OKC to pick up my baby the next day. She took great care of my new fur baby!!

Happy Tail's, OKC is absolutely hands down the best in animal care. We finally have found someone who we can trust in our home and with our doggos. We can go on vacation and not have to spend the entire time looking at the cameras to make sure that our animals are safe and well cared for. Having Happy Tails house sit makes it so much easier when we are away. Our home is taken care of as well as our animals. I can’t say enough about Their training services. Cathy and her home could not be more welcoming to my dog. When we first arrive it’s hard to contain his excitement, which shows just how well he is taken care of while there. When I pick him up she reads me her notes about him for the week which is a great touch by Cathy. Skip the big box places and give Cathy a shot—your dog will appreciate it!

I recently had the pleasure of using Tropical Tails in Oklahoma City for my two dogs, Beau and Lance, while I went on a Disney cruise. From the moment I contacted them to schedule a tour, I was impressed with their professionalism and genuine love for dogs. The facility is top-notch, featuring spacious indoor and outdoor play areas that kept my dogs active and engaged. The staff is incredibly attentive and well-trained, providing individualized attention to each pet. It’s hard to find a place that you can completely trust with your furry family members, but Tropical Tails exceeded all my expectations. My dogs came back happy, healthy, and well-exercised. I highly recommend Tropical Tails for anyone looking for a reliable, fun, and caring environment for their pets. I am so thankful for you guys!!

Penelope and Apollo had a great time getting a bath and some play time. There’s a great selection of snacks and toys for the dogs. The lounge area for owners is super nice and cozy too. We’ll be returning soon!

This place is incredible! The free range concept is so cool and works perfectly for my dog! Being the obsessed dog mom that I am, I worry when I am away from my baby. The owners understood and sent/send constant updates and photos which immediately put my mind at ease from the very first visit! They are great and love your pups like their own! 12/10 recommend!!!
