My family takes our dog here. They are so wonderful with her. I can tell she has the best time. When I drop her off, she hardly cares that I'm leaving. And when I pick her up, she naps all day. I'm so glad there is a place that she can go that she loves ❤️ They have so many fun activities and treats for them.

We would never take our dogs anywhere but Almost Home Kennels. Linda is very knowledgeable and obviously loves dogs very much. She has a clean, well maintained facility. We love the fact that there is a lot of play time... as opposed to most other kennels. Before we found Almost Home , we'd taken our dogs to other kennels where they would get maybe 15 minutes of play time... and they would charge extra for that. She also does a fantastic job of grooming!! Our dogs are part of the family and it's very comforting to know that when we're out of town they are being loved and well taken care of. I travel often and have a daughter in the St. Louis area who got married in Sept 2018 and all I can say is WOW!! this place is amazing. My two 8 yr old black labs had fun and were so happy and content when I picked them up. I could tell they had fun here and were well taken care of and weren't stressed at all. Thank you so much for taking care of my babies. I will be back in Oct. 2018 and I know my dogs will be excited to be back.

We have boarded our dog at Almost Home Kennels for several years, and he always loves staying! Wanting a safe and clean kennel Almost Home delivered. With the group play, great kennel space, and personal love and attention given by Linda and the staff, we will not take him anywhere else in the area. Overall, great kennel and highly recommend!!

I have taken my dog Cali to Almost Homes Kennels for years. I use both the grooming and boarding services. I can honestly say CALI looks forward to seeing Linda ( owner ) and her staff. She wags her tail and is excited to play with the other dogs. I noticed on several visits, the dogs were not confined to cages all the time as seen at other kennels I checked out. They were playing with each other running after a ball Linda was throwing. It is important to me that Cali enjoys her vacation as much as I do. This place is clean, well run, great rates and I can say with confidence the only place I would take my best friend.

Best kennel I have ever seen! Very clean, great rates and dogs get lots of free playtime! My dog loves to come here. Linda is a huge dog lover and great trainer too.

They are so great with our dog and they obviously love the animals and are passionate about what they do. Also very reasonably priced. We love that they allow the dogs to play and not be caged up all day.

Linda runs a high quality boarding and grooming operation. Dogs and cats have room to relax and play together. We'll, not the dogs and cats together.

ZERO STARS. Our dog contracted kennel cough, which quickly turned into pneumonia during his stay. After asking for a refund of $171, the owner declined, stating that "she feels as though offering a refund would imply that she did something wrong or could have done more to prevent this from happening and didn't believe that was the case." She said our dog's breed is prone to respiratory issues, which is even more reason we should have been informed of his condition IMMEDIATELY, instead of the day we picked him up. She said that “he was eating and drinking normally” yet he somehow LOST 10 LBS IN ONE WEEK while in her care, which doesn’t indicate that he was being cared for very closely. Our dog passed away after a two week battle in the ICU. It sickens me that I made the mistake of boarding him here. To anyone considering the same, please do your research. In the end, this cost us over $6,000, the worst two weeks of our lives, and the life of our sweet boy. He was only 1.5 years old.

Emma and the others here really care for the animals. My dog hated going to the kennel, his 2nd visit here, and he ran to the door. Cuddling up to Emma. 1st time in 8 years, I saw him do anything like that. Your babies will be in great hands here!

Our 7yr. Old boxer loves going to Grand Haven. They are great with her....caring!

We absolutely love Grand Haven! They take such good loving care of our three pups when we travel. We have a senior little old guy, a lazy lab and a crazy Shepard mix - all with unique personalities. The staff at Grand Haven knows exactly what each one needs and we know our babies are loved and well cared for so that we can relax and enjoy time away. We highly recommend them for your kenneling needs!

The staff is very friendly and great with the animals. They know all the personalities of their guests. Our dog Gracie seems to do very well there. I feel it's the best place for our Gracie when we need to leave her. I feel very comfortable leaving her at Grand Haven. I appreciate the staff for taking such good care of her

Staff is very friendly and responsive to calls or emails. They genuinely care about your animals. Our 2 dogs stayed here 4 nights while we were out of town - they were content and well fed when I picked them up! We will definitely use them next time we need a kennel.

We had our recently acquired rot mix boarded here for several days. She was a fairly high strung and anxious dog at the time. We had just adopted her and she had to have hip surgery right after adoption. Our dog seemed very happy and well fed when we picked her up. The staff was nice and took a genuine interest in our dog.

They treat your fur babies like guests. It's very pleasant to deal with the staff. Drop off & pick up are made easy.

Our dog Bentley absolutely loves it at Grand Haven. We have had nothing but a fantastic experience here and you can tell the staff genuinely love these animals. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We left our dog for 5 days with the team at Grand Haven. They were loving and kind and attentive to him. He was lively and happy when we came back and looked clean and healthy. We will use them again!

Just couldn’t find the right kennel for our Golden Doodle when we travel. She came home sick a couple of times, came tearing out in fear one time. A friend of ours recommended Grand Haven so we gave them a try. I could tell you 20 reasons why we go there but I will just say that we have been going there for 3 years and will never go anywhere else.

Their place is so clean and such a friendly environment. The lady and gentleman that run it are very big animal lovers and definitely take pride in their business . My dog normally has very bad anxiety when I leave but he enjoyed his own space and could walk outside to his part of the yard whenever he wanted . The price is very affordable and they take dogs and cats and also have other services they offer . Next time I have to go out of town I'll be taking BluBear back to them and maybe even our cats .. if give 10 stars if I could !

This was our first time boarding our dogs with this facility. We were quite nervous leaving them there, even though there are indoor/outdoor rooms in a super-cute space with differently-colored doors bearing our dogs’ very own name signs. Normally our dogs come back from boarding a little freaked out and won’t talk to us for a couple days. But after picking them up from AaCanine Country Club, they were happy and readjusted very well to coming back home. It was as if we had never left and they never missed a beat. They were bathed, smelled good and our one dog with the crusty nose was almost completely healed. When making the reservation, they told me they love dogs. Now I know that to be true. They took excellent care of our four dogs and they will definitely be our trusted go-to in the future.

We have 3 large dogs. A bad storm last night knocked a large branch down, that fell on our electricity wire and pulled the entire electric meter off our house. Power was out with 100 degree forecast in the future. No kennel or friends could take all of our dogs. We were finally referred here. They were already pretty booked, but understood our situation. The gentleman we spoke with said they would absolutely make room. As I was packing up our freezer to take it to my dad’s, our power came back on. AC is back on and we did not have to end up boarding them. Their eagerness to help deserves nothing less than my review. Thank you for your willingness to help.

Very grateful in the time of need when we had to leave to go see our son graduate the Marines they took our dog in Pretty Girl Sheba and took wonderful care of her. Air conditioning for the pets and clean facility. Will definitely be taking her back when we need to was so grateful they helped us out above and beyond gave a tip for all the links they took to help us out.

Great place. Owners are super nice and the pet care is extremely affordable. We keep coming back. 2 dogs and no issues.

Resonable boarding prices. After so many days thay get free wash, they did better thsn the groomer we used to use. Nice people.

They took such good care of our GSD Zeke while we were on vacation. Highly recommend!
