Kind, responsible solo female traveler
Megan was dependable, communicative, friendly, and over all a pleasure to interact with. We had great communication and I felt very comfortable entrusting our animals to her. She was very responsive during the sit and offered to go the extra mile for us when we thought we might be away an extra night. I would say your house and home are in good hands with Megan

I will care for your home and pets with the same love and care I do my own.
Robin was amazing and the absolute sweetest! She has great communication prior to, during, and after the stay. She sent regular updates and I came back to a super clean and neat house as if no one has stayed there. She was a gem and Im so happy we connected. I know Lady was well taken care of while I was away.

Midwest professional couple caring for your home and pets like they are our own.
Tara and Michael were fantastic with Sparky & Joey! Both cats even felt comfortable and happy enough to lie on their backs with their bellies exposed, which is a great sign of trust. Tara and Michael sent photos every day, which I loved, and left the house in great condition. I highly recommend them!

Portia was a joy to have in our home and caring for our dog. She was conscientious and made sure our dog received consistent exercise and companionship. We came home to a happy dog and a clean and tidy house. Portia is trustworthy and I recommend her as an excellent zeewoi.

It was a pleasure to have Julie stay in our home and care for our pets. She was communicative and open throughout. Our pets were well cared for and our home left clean and tidy. We would certainly recommend Julie as a pet and house sitter. (We were just so sorry the weather was unseasonably cold and we did not prepare for the wintery heating schedule - lesson learnt on our part!)

Hi, we’re Doug & Belinda. We love pets, plants, travel, hiking and wildlife.
If I could give 10 stars I would. Doug and Belinda were fabulous. The pups were well cared for and both very content. I was almost jealous when we came home as the pups hung out with Doug and not us for a little while. The house was spotless. Cleaner than I had left it which was quite clean. Great communicators We are hoping and praying they will come back in June for 3 weeks. Super nice couple. Great meeting and getting to know them. Can’t thank them enough for everything.

Remote young professional looking to explore!
Abbie was phenomenal! This was certainly the most difficult and eventful sit we've ever handed off to anyone and we were lucky to have her for it. She was so communicative, adaptable, reliable, and handled all the unexpected events with understanding and good humor. Our dog Tuna is people-shy, dog-reactive and had a health scare prior to the sit, so Abbie had some extra responsibilities from the start. In addition to the daily medical updates we requested, she also sent extra photos and little snippets of their daily happenings. We could see how comfortable Tuna was getting with her! When Tuna refused to go down our usual off-leash trails for unknown personal canid reasons, Abbie pivoted and explored until she was able to find an alternate route for long walks. Leash walking around a neighborhood is never as fun as off-leash trails, but Abbie was committed to getting Tuna's daily exercise in and safely led her through the local traffic (tricky when your nosy dog likes watch oncoming cars from the middle of the road). When a large loose dog charged at them, Abbie kept Tuna calm and kept both dogs safely separated until the owner was able to wrangle their dog back inside. We came back to a clean house, happy plants, and of course, a happy Tuna. We'd recommend Abbie anywhere!

Free-spirited pet sitter, who’s super simple, attentive, knowledgeable & kind
Our cats love Gigi. She is a superior communicator. She shares pictures of the cats with us while we are away, which my wife loves. Gigi takes great care of our home as well, which is a nice bonus and unlike other sitters we have used. She's a gem.

We will bring you peace of mind and care to your home and loved ones!
It was clear from the first moment I met Grace off the train that she was going to be a great housesitter. She and the dogs just loved each other and she gave them wonderful long and stimulating walks plus lots of attention and cuddles when back at home relaxing. Her approach is very professional as pet/housesitting is what she does. I especially liked the way she double checked important things to know (that she had already read in the Welcome Guide) just to be certain that she would get it right. As I do with all my sitters, we spent some time together before and after the sit and that was lovely..she is a woman who is thoughtful, very genuine and full of integrity as well as being great fun to be with. She is a person who truly cares about animals, humans and the world. I recommend her most highly and hope we may meet again

Kate was an absolute dream and was the best pet sitter I could have possibly asked for! Kate was extremely trustworthy, communicative, and reliable, and provided frequent updates while I was away. She left my apartment spotlessly clean and even took the initiative to fix my wobbly towel bar. Finally, Kate took excellent care of my cat Daisy and I came home to a happy and content cat! Kate was amazing all around and I would be thrilled to have her sit for me again at any time. Thanks for everything!
Tom provided a last minute sit when my 2 week long trip got extended to the 3rd. The previous zeewoi sitter was no longer available for the 3rd week, and Tom came in as a savior. As requested, he started his sit a day prior to the posted dates (thank you for being flexible). He met the prior zeewoi in person, since I was not in town, and got to know the house and cats quickly. He sent pictures of the cats each day and added a note about their well being. He was independent and was able to figure out how to use the litter genie on his own. I returned to a clean home and healthy happy cats. Would love to have Tom return and recommend him to anyone leaving their pets in his care.
Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. I’m very pleased and would both recommend her and love to have her again.
Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. The dogs loved her and the shy kitties came out of greet her mid stay. She left our home immaculate and well cared for. She is truly a winning pet sitter in our eyes! We hope she can come again sometime.
Great pet care. The house was clean and tidy. The sitters had great communication. Would recommend again!
We've had many pet sitters over the years (this is our first time using this app) and Missy is the best sitter we've ever had for our dog and cats. Our pets, particularly our dog, adored her and was really sad to see her go. It is obvious she loves animals and immediately understood the pack dynamics and the pet personalities. She kept the house tidy, litter box clean, and the animals so well loved. Because she was traveling from far away, she stayed with us the night before our trip and the night we came back. It was a pleasure to get to know her. We would welcome her back to our house as a friend or a sitter anytime. Highly recommend!
We were so happy to have Kyle as our house sitter for two weeks. Besides taking great care of our pets and our house, he was very accommodating. We were always able to get in touch with him if we needed to, and he agreed to take on some extra plant watering’s when the weather made a sudden change. As a bonus, he is very likable and communicative. We would definitely have him come again.
Janis is absolutely the best pet sitter and home care we have had. She is a regular for us during our Christmas vacation because we totally trust her with the care of our three dogs and the management of our home. She is so good and efficient that I have already requested that she sits for us again next Christmas. Our three dogs absolutely adored her as she played fetch, took them on walks, loved and spoiled them. Management of our home was excellent. I had no concerns whatsoever as we had packages delivered and Mail that needed to be picked up. The house was in much better condition than what we left it. I highly recommend Janis and you will be fortunate to have her as your sitter.
Gowri was very patient and caring with Irisi who got sick the day before I left. I cannot commend her enough for how she rose to the occasion and took care of my baby. She even pick up meds from the vet. My cat, Squinty, was very comfortable with her to jump in bed and wake her up early in the morning (as he would with me). I am not aware of him doing that to other sitters that have stayed at my place. I would give her 6 stars for Pet care if I can! She updated me with Irisi's condition which really help ease my mind, knowing someone looking after my furry really cared. I would certainly have her back again!
Neil and Anne have just sat for us for a second time, for a week. They are outstanding sitters in every way. Always punctual with communication and arrival. They both have responsible jobs and this is evident as they are both very organised. They care very much about the animals they look after. We were regularly sent updates, pictures and video clips of them, which is great to see when you are away. When we came home we were greeted by happy pets and an immaculately tidy house. We cannot recommend Neil and Anne enough. As far as we are concerned they are perfect housesitters! …...Hopefully they will come back and sit again soon!

Not the most glamorous of places, but they treat our dogs well and the fact that they are also a Great Pyrennes rescue is a plus. We haven't bought a pass to the dog park yet but keep meaning to. Wouldn't let anyone else board our dogs.
Had my boy stay night there and I called to check on him. They said he was running around with the other rescued dogs and having fun. My favorite photo they sent me of him.
This place is run by true dog lovers, the pricing was very good, I know the dogs were able to run around and have fun while they were there and when we picked them up they were very well groomed for a great price as well! We drive all the way from Cicero to have them watch our dogs. Great place!
Our dog loves to come here when we are away and they take personal interest in your dog. Great care and good people who run. Very affordable. Had them give our Blaise, GSP a bath and he smelled so good for at least a week later.
Would not consider going anywhere else. My dogs are like family and they absolutely love going to Bed and Biscuit where I know they are treated just as I would treat them! I have a dog with special needs and the owner and staff are well aware of her and her requirements. All of my dogs love playing with the other dogs in their playtime outdoors or in the doggy daycare. Half the time when I come to pick them up I am not sure that they are really ready to come home. I never need to worry about taking them back or anxiety level about "going to the kennel" as I know that they are in great hands.
We brought in our woolly mammoth Bandit for a bath and grooming and came home with the most handsome boy. You performed a miracle with this wild man and we most sincerely appreciate the time and care you gave in caring for him. We could never say enough about your boarding and grooming services. We know that we never have to worry about him in your care. You treat everyone’s precious pet like your own, like family! Thank you so much! Ken & Laura Christy
The groomer was really nice, and they got us in last minute. Our dogs bed was torn up by another dog though and her blankets and toys were soaked and she's not the type of dog to knock over water bowls. Unsure how another dog was able to destroy her bed.
Can't tell if they really take good care of my dogs or not. The place seems dirty. Neither dog ate any of the food we sent during their 3 day stay and the one had diarrhea when he left (didn't have it going in). I'm assuming it's because he didn't eat, but hard to tell. I prefer PetAgree, but they won't take my pit bull.
We have only used the dog park ($45/yr) for our boxer. We have not boarded here. Here is a summary of our experience: Submitted application via the website. Didn't receive any follow up for ~10 days, so we called. Left a voicemail. Waited a few days. Called 3-4 more times. This should have been our first clue, but we are new to the area and really wanted to find a local dog park. Went there on a Saturday morning. As we went inside the office, there were 4 dogs that appeared to be the owner's dogs (behind the desk). They were barking so loudly that it was difficult to carry on a conversation there. Finally got her to look up our submission from the website. She said "I haven't checked these in a while..." That should have been clue #2 for us. While the girl running the register was doing our paperwork, I saw her ignore several phone calls (picked up the phone, looked at the number, put the phone back down without answering). As a customer, this was frustrating, as I know she ignored my calls for the past several days too... We got our key. We went to play in the dog yard, and there are 2 sides. Both are extremely wet and muddy (one side has a lake and a lot of standing water in the grass, other side has a sump pit and lots of standing water too). I can see why there are so few people here, as the place is a mud pit and not well taken care of. Again, we tried to give it another chance. Next visit I noticed some trash and started trying to tidy up the place. I found the following in the play yard: 1) Boards with nails and screws in them 2) Bare electrical wires sticking out of the ground 3) The play area requires a key card to exit; I'm not sure if that meets code, because if someone had a medical emergency, they may not be able to exit. 4) Big chunks of a busted up picnic table 5) Chunk of pipe with a busted hydrant handle After only a few visits, I can tell that this place isn't for us. I need somewhere to take my dog to socialize, and very few people appear to use this dog park. Based on my exposure to the people who work here, they don't appear to have a passion for the job, nor are they doing more than the bare minimum. After weighing the pros and cons, we plan to take our dog somewhere else so that he doesn't get injured from their shoddy worksmanship in the play area, and so that he can socialize with other dogs.
my pup came home with wounds on his upper arms and feet. his once energetic personality has become a meloncholy one. he used to run at the neighbors dogs and bark incessantly, and now he hardly even wants to go outside. nobody even told us what happened, or that anything happened at all. they’ve left us in the dark about what happened to my sweet babe. don’t take your fur babies here.
Really great experience for our dogs. The people are wonderful and the place is clean and well maintained. Definitely recommend this business to board your pets.
These guys are the best! They love our dog Theo and take great care of him and he likes to go there. Ryan is top notch!
I meet with the owners and staff of Hickory Acres Kennel about a month ago. Got a full tour of the facility and met the staff. I can not say enough good things about the business. The owners and staff were very passionate about their care of animals and the building were all so VERY clean and organized. Its clear they want the best for the animals they care for and I would highly recommend this kennel. Sincerely Tammy Reed S.
I was nervous about boarding my formerly feral cat, she can be a handful but after taking a tour of the cat facility (in it's own building away from the dogs) I was impressed. Very clean cattery, caring and compassionate staff. Everyone understood my concerns and they were kind enough to field my phone calls and send me pix of my kitty. She even ate during her stay so she must have felt really comfortable. I will definitely use them again. Highly recommend!
Super friendly staff who helped us out in a pinch with last minute boarding, plus baths and nail trims. Gus and Otis came home happy and looking good!
Hickory Acres is absolutely AMAZING! My family has been taking our animals here for 2 decades now. I drive past at least 3 other kennels to get there, and will continue to do so. The last time I got my dog ready to go, he knew where we were going, and (I never thought this was possible) he was EXCITED! My dog has separation anxiety but he has no problem leaving me to go to Hickory Acres! Amazing people, amazing staff, I can't say enough good things!
So glad we found them. In 30+ years with pets this was the 1st time we have ever had to kennel our dogs so we were very nervous. We had visited multiple kennels before this one and we knew this was the right one right away. We felt very comfortable leaving our babies in their care and will be using them for all our future trips.
I picked up a happy dog! After 8 days at HA, our 5 month old puppy was as excited to see the caretakers there as he was to see me! They gave me a great, detailed update when I called to check in on him midweek and obviously took very good care of him. I wouldn't hesitate to bring him back in the future and it was our vet who recommended HA which carried some weight to use them in the first place!
Very clean kennels, friendly staff, our pup of 15 years was well taken care of, a fur baby Mom can tell these things, grooming did a great job as well. I will definitely use them again.
I have boarded my dogs at Hickory Acres Kennel for 19 years. The facility is very clean and the staff are very caring. My dogs (I currently have 2 and at one time boarded 3) are always well taken care of and happy when I pick them up. I highly recommend Hickory Acres if you are looking to board/groom your pet.
My sweet Indy always comes home happy and beautifully groomed. She was losing her winter coat and shedding everywhere. Her nails needed trimming, I’m not good at trimming and prefer an expert to do that because she is sensitive about her paws. Whoever was the groomer did an excellent job, and I don’t hear her clattering across the floor. When I retrieved her from PetSuites she was happy, shiny, smelled wonderful and her pretty paws were nice and quiet. I’m sure she appreciated the pedicure! In all the times I’ve taken her there, she has never been traumatized, they have some very understanding groomers that know how to deal with pups with issues. I recommend PetSuites.
Never again. They starved my dog! We have boarded our dog here a hand full of times over the past years. I’ve never experienced this issue until now. During our dogs 7 day stay she lost 5 pounds which is a total of 8.33% of her body weight. As a very health and perfect weight greyhound she didn’t have any fat to lose. The day before dropping her off we had her regular vet check and she weighed the same weight that she has weighed since we adopted her many years ago. When we got her back and noticed the weight loss I weighed her on our home scale since it was the weekend and called the manager. The manager insisted that my scale was most likely incorrect and not “calibrated” and I needed to go to the vet. We took her to the vet Monday morning and they confirmed the weight loss and had blood work done for the second time this year just to make sure there wasn’t any other underlining issues. The blood work came back normal. The staff claims that it was because she was anxious and “exercised” a lot. Even though she has been there many times and had less frequent play days than she has in the past with no issues. They took absolutely no accountability. We received our food back that was scooped for the 7 days that we would be gone. Half of the food remained in the container but they continue to claim that she was feed the correct amount every meal and that she cleaned her bowl every time. Dogs don’t lose 5 pounds in 7 days for nothing. I shudder to think what would have happened if we had been gone for 2 weeks.
We dropped our pupper off for a half day “daycare” group play. It was a special “Bark to School” theme day. He got lots of play time in with other puppers including swim time in their indoor pool! They gave us a super cute school picture of him when we picked him up. He was exhausted in a good way. We plan on brining him in at least once a week and will definitely start having him groomed there as well. Very nice staff, lots of space and easy online booking!
We love this PetSuites!! And my rotten boy loves that they have an option for the less socialized dogs so he can still get love/attention from humans. He is always ridiculously excited when it’s daycare day! 🥰 Photos are from a couple of their “themed party” days. Thank you all for loving our pets as much as we do!!! Edit (06-06): I just wanted to say I wish they would use pictures from their facility on the big screen in the lobby. Let people see how happy these dogs are!!
I had a great experience here. Prices are very reasonable, they were accommodating for us on short notice, and my dog looked happy and healthy when I picked him up. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it looked like a fun environment for the pets all around. Will definitely look into using them again if a location is near where I am traveling.
Petsuites Northwest is where I take my dogs every week. They are very caring and I know my babies are safe all day and having fun. My two dogs love going there and get excited on the trip there each morning. They offer parties and enhancements for fun and also excellent grooming and they have training too. I think they have it all. I recommend to everyone because all the employees are so kind and really care about our babies. Recommend 100%
She brought home a great picture from the pawty and smelled amazing after her bath, the groomer was very great working with her sensitive skin.
I took my german shepherd here for the first time a couple of weeks ago for an overnight stay, daycare, and a bath while I was in town for the weekend. They were super communicative and check-in was smooth. They have cameras in their play yards, so I got to peek in on him playing with the other pups - so fun! Before pickup, Meesha groomed him and he's never looked better. He was booked for a deshed and all over bath. He smelled SO good and she got out a crazy amount of his undercoat out. I was so impressed. Highly recommend Pet Suites & Meesha!
Meesha is amazing with our pups! She loves on them like they are her own and always sends them home looking cuter than before. I wouldn’t trust my babies with anyone else!
Best dog daycare in Indy! I trust the staff with my dog and have for over 4 years now! I can’t recommend them enough. The monthly events and enrichment they offer for the pets are an added bonus and I always get so many compliments on the themed photos they take of my sweet boy.
We took our golden retriever to Valerie at Zionsville Country Kennels for a full grooming appointment. We were so pleased! All the staff members we encountered were friendly, caring and professional. Valerie listened and our pup had just the haircut we were hoping for when we picked her up. Also, our dog was calm and proud of how pretty she looked. I am confident she was well cared for. We dropped her off at 9:00 am and picked her up at 11:30! We will return!
We got both of our dogs groomed here last week due to our normal groomer having a schedule conflict. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. We dropped off at 8 am, dogs were not finished until after 6pm. When picking up, our golden retriever was still soaking wet in some spots and was obvious he had not been brushed after his cut as hair was going everywhere. On top of that our bernadoodle was completely shaved after requesting them go to 1 inch as we do with our normal groomer- His face was completely shaved as well with bald spots on multiple parts. We have no issues with our dogs at our normal groomer and often get great feedback on how they act- they gave excuse that he was a menace to deal with which is not the temperament of our dog. I would avoid this place at all costs.
We recently took our 4 month old puppy to the Zionsville Country Kennel for the first time for a long weekend. They sent us pictures, and he looked like he was having the best time playing with other dogs. I know he’ll have a great time when he returns in the future, and it makes me feel great knowing he’s well taken care of!
This is not the same Kennel that it used to be. We have taken our dogs there for years, both for boarding and for Kennel camp and have never had a problem until this past year when the ownership has changed from the family to corporate ownership. One of the times we boarded I picked up my dog and she had an eye infection and they said they didn’t even notice it. Most recently when we picked up our dogs from boarding, one of my dogs could barely walk and go up the stairs. When we called them to ask if they noticed anything, they said no, but she may have been walking a little slower than usual. After a visit to the emergency vet, we found that she was severely dehydrated and constipated, and her bowels were distended. She was in considerable pain and looked so uncomfortable and awful . She was given pain meds, laxatives, and fluids. When I called to speak with Caleb, the general manager, regarding the vet visit, all he seemed to care about was getting the invoice to look at it. No concern whatsoever for what has happened to my dog in their care. It was a horrible experience. Do not trust your dogs in their care. There are much better places out there..
We've been bringing our dog here for months, she does daycare once a week. She always comes home happy and tired! She's a year old and shy, and this has been a great experience for her to socialize with people and dogs. Pip is fond of the staff, especially the male manager whose name I don't know. I'm happy that she's happy. Great facility, great staff!! Thank you guys! :)
I absolutely love the kennel day camp. They really care about the dogs. My dog was normally very nervous at previous daycares. Those places would send me pictures and he would always seem so scared and cowering in the corner. Here, they have helped him become more socialized and independent! They also send great pictures on Instagram, so I recommend following them there. Here are pictures they took of my Chewy, and they are some of my favorite photos of him ever!!!
We have been sending our lab to kennel Camp at ZCK for over three years. She loves going and comes home ready for a meal and a nap. The staff is upbeat and very attentive. Thank you for taking such good care of our girl.
I expressly stated when dropping our Bernese Mountain Dog off that she was only to be bathed and clip her nails. We had entered conformation shows for the weekend and just wanted her freshly bathed. They ignored our instructions and cut all of the feathering off her hocks making her look ridiculous. All of the training and planning we had done went down the tubes, along with the entry fees. She will not be showable for months. Avoid at all costs. I am just sick at what they did.
We have been bringing our two dogs to this kennel for 6 years. I completed their online questionnaire and told them that one of our dog’s needed to be taken out late or during the night because she can’t hold her urine more than five hours. My husband picked up our dogs this morning and Millie’s bed was saturated with urine. We assumed that she would have at least been placed on clean towels, if it was too much for them to wash the dog bed. We will never use this kennel again.
Well after getting my puppy back from the groomer we discovered that he was hurting on one of his ears so we got to looking and they had cut his ear and nobody even told us about it so I don't think we will be taking him down there ever again.
I take my 2 shih tzu to Emily for grooming. She does a fantastic job with them. One is very shy and the other is crazy. She is patient with both of them. She is a great at communication and does what is asked. She is the best. Front desk workers are friendly and professional.
I have been taking my dog there for boarding many, many years. I have moved since, and I am still making the drive even though it's now over an hour roundtrip, because my dog absolutely loves it there and I have never had a single problem. It's a big deal, because my dog is reactive to other dogs and he is very people selective, so he is challenging to deal with. As soon as he walks into the door, he runs up to the front desk to greet everyone. He turns from a dog that growls at most people into the sweetest, social butterfly with the staff (well, he still doesn't like the other dogs). This is truly the only place I trust to handle my difficult dog and I know that he really likes going there. In the 5+ years, we never had an issue giving us a piece of mind that when we are traveling that he is in the absolutely best place. I always laugh because I think he is the King of the Pet Palace over there.
They do a great job grooming my GSD every 6 weeks. All I got to do is mention the groomers, and he gets excited.
Been bringing my dog here for boarding and grooming. Emily does great on my Ella. Will continue to return there.
It been a couple of visits for the bording, and it has been a great experience. The staff loveu dog and take great care during his stay. They are reachable on the phone to know how your pet is doing and at the end they give you report cards on how he did day by day
The folks at Pet Palace are great and so helpful! Large, clean climate controlled facility with indoor and outdoor areas. Daycare is available, as well as boarding and grooming. Grooming appointments book about 4 days out. Boarding appointments can be booked online, over the phone or on site. They usually have coupons available in the ValPak mailers, good for daycare, boarding and grooming! Tours are also available.
Pet Palace is so great with the dogs and cats in their care. They make sure every pet gets what they need and provide daycare, boarding, and grooming services tailored to each individual. It's a clean facility with loving staff!
We've used this Pet Palace exclusively since we moved to Indy and never regret it. Our separation anxiety ridden dog (Squire) is always excited to go there, showing that he has fun and feels cared for and safe even when we sign him up for grooming! The staff have always been wonderful from drop off to pick up no matter how long he stays! We also super love the "report cards" that we get. Very cute touch!
UPDATE: unfortunately I wrote a very long update and it didn’t fit and got cut off and deleted so I’ll write a little bit here and then I was able to take a picture of some of what I wrote before it got deleted so check my pictures below to see the majority of what I wrote for the rest of this update please please read it it’s very important!!!! So the main thing to know is that this is a second date update I picked up my Great Dane yesterday on Sunday today is Monday and I am just leaving the veterinarian and I am in tears because my dog may die!! That’s correct you heard me MY DOG MAY DIE because of the people at Pet Palace apparently are not equipped to take care of my pet, he has a severe case of pneumonia and should have been taken to the vet within the last three days and for some reason was not. If you recall on my original review I remarked that my dog was making a hacking sound that I attributed to being thirsty, yeah not so much that was definitely a case of miss identified pneumonia on my part however after about three more times of that hacking sound I realized quickly, VERY QUICKLY that that was not just being thirsty and I do not work with dogs 24 7!! Today I picked up my Great Dane from a weeks stay at what was his first time at the highly recommended to us Pet Palace and I am shocked by the dog I am picking up! First let me say that I was bumped up to a webcam room which became both a nightmare and perhaps a saving grace of sorts because while I was constantly watching in shock at the treatment of my dog at least I could see it and call and ask for it to be fixed-sadly it never was. Mostly that consisted of him having no pillows or blankets so he was consistently lying on hard concrete which if you have a giant breed dog you know is a no-no also none of his other personal belongings were EVER put with him! I became a bit obsessive watching the stupid camera which wasn’t a great way to spend my vacation but when you see your baby constantly crying and digging at the ground and chewing on metal bars it’s heartbreaking! Now getting to pick up (things you can’t see on a tiny, glitchy webcam) my dog is completely skin and bones, he looks sad and awful! I understand that dogs don’t always eat normally when in the kennel but I wish they would have tried their own food brand to entice him or call me for God’s sake! Another thing, when I picked him up he continually made this hacking noise until we got home and then he straight booked it for the water, dogs may not eat but they typically drink. He also has a rather large cut on his back paw that could not be accounted for, which reminds me that the only one time I ever saw someone interact with him on the webcam he was completely cowered down which isn’t like him at all. One of the most heartbreaking things of all of this though was when I came to pick him up, as soon as he saw me he started crying then howling then shrieking-a sound I’ve never heard any dog make let alone mine and he literally was trying to get into my arms!! I did explain some of my troubles with the staff who offered me a free night stay- NEXT TIME! Are you kidding me? Umm no, we will never be back! I will take Mr Great Dane everywhere with me before I bring him back there!
I was so impressed with the facility but more with the people that worked there! They were so friendly and genuinely loved my puppers! My fur babies enjoyed their stay so much and I know next time I’m on vacation they will be taken care of very well!! My pups are my life!!❤️❤️❤️
Kim was great! I've had bad experiences with Pet sitters in the past, but she made me feel comfortable from the beginning and was reassuring. She sent updates of our pups while we were away and took great care of our animals. She kept her word and came when she said she would and for how long she said she would which was important to us. Letting a stranger into your home isn't an easy thing to do, but you can count on Kim to be professional and love on your pets! :) We will definitely be booking Kim again in the future!
We have a GSD and 2 Labs and have had Kim watch our pups over the past three years. We have only wonderful things to say! She is great with communication and has been very flexible with our changing schedules. Kim takes great care of our dogs and is very attentive to how they are doing, letting us know if there is anything that seems off. We trust Kim with our dogs and couldn't recommend her more.
We have used Kim’s dog sitting services several times now. She is very reliable and and we always know our dogs are in good hands while we are away. She sends updates and photos when she goes to the house which we appreciate so much! I highly recommend Kim!
I am so thankful we found Kim!! We have a pitbull and I was so excited to know that she had so much love for them!! When I saw her logo I was sold!! We have a Labradoodle that is super anxious when we are gone so I was super nervous to leave him!! Every photo that Kim has sent Tommie looks like he has a smile on his face😍 She has gone above and beyond caring for all 5 of our animals and her prices you can’t beat!! I HIGHLY recommend you hire Kim to care for your fur babies!! We have found our pet sitter for life!!!!
I used Kim for the first time last weekend. She was very professional and great with my labs. They loved her and behaved well with her. She takes her job very professionally and kept me apprised of everything going on as well as sending me pictures of my babies. I would highly recommend her.
Kim is amazing with my pup. She has watched her since she was 8 weeks old and now she will be three this year. I trust her with my dogs life especially since she caught that she was sick when I was away one weekend. She is amazing!! 5 stars
Kim did a terrific job of taking care of my pups during the day while I was away. She went above and beyond, spending time and playing with them. She left them a bag of goodies for each that I shared with them upon my return. They love the toys!
Kim is so great at watching our 15 year old Schnoodle! I love that she sends photos and updates on each visit!
She did an amazing job taking care of my cat while I was away. She gave me constant updates and made sure he was taken care of. Absolutely recommend.
We are so grateful to the trainers at the Pet Lodge. Deb and Kristen are amazing. The have been helping our bernedoodle all week during puppy training. He suffers from being extremely shy and anxious around strangers and in new situations. They are so wonderful and patient with him. They are incredibly knowledgeable as well. They have already in a week's time equipped us with so many practical skills to help him navigate in the outside world. We will be back for sure!
Gia finished her second round of puppy training; life skills with Deb. Deb was patient with our wiggly lab pup. By the end of the week, she had given us behavior management recommendations that made our walks more enjoyable without all the pulling. She introduced her to complex commands and did a good job showing us humans how to work on them at home. The staff were friendly and professional making it easy to pay and schedule. This was an all- around great experience!
Our lab, Mabel, graduated yesterday from her Puppy Head Start training program at The Range Pet Lodge. What a difference this training has made! If you have a puppy that is miserable to walk on a leash or if you’re getting “warnings” about impulse control at doggy daycare, then Debbie and her team can help. We were struggling to know how to correct some of Mabel’s bad behaviors. Mabel and our family learned so much after each training session. She now knows basic commands (sit, stay, down, wait, drop it, leave it, etc.), and she also knows to watch us. We now feel like we have control of her both in our house and on walks. We’ve received compliments from neighbors who saw us on walks with her before and after. She looks like a different dog, and I no longer dread taking her for a walk! Thank you to Debbie, Taylor and all the staff that worked with Mabel. She loved her time with you, and we’re impressed with the results.
We want to thank Deb and her team for the great progress they made with our Gus. Gus arrived as an 8 month old lab puppy with some basic skills, but was lacking in dog-to-dog social awareness and the ability to concentrate for more than a very short time. We asked for particular help with on-leash walking without pulling, greeting other dogs and people, as well as down, stay and place commands. The most interesting part of the training was what we learned from Deb regarding puppy psychology and our role as Gus' parents to set him up for success and reinforce and reward consistently his positive behavior. Gus' improvement day to day was remarkable. We particularly enjoyed our sessions where Deb demonstrated then coached us in working Gus in increasingly distracted situations. And, the Range Pet Lodge provided the environment for Gus to practice and improve his dog-to-dog social interactions. Thanks again Deb for working your magic with Gus and us! Best regards, Bruce and Kim Myrehn
Deb and her team are amazing!!! They truly care about your dog's well being and that is evident in everything they do. Very clean facility, kind staff and welcoming! Within 1 training session, the wild ball of energy we picked up from animal control could actually respond to a command. After a 2 week daily training, we have moved from calling our new addition "Lucifer" to her actual name "Molly". Molly, myself, my husband, and our other dog Sadie are eternally grateful! Thank you!
We took our 1 year old cocker spaniel for boarding for a week & they took such great care of him! In October 2023 we sent him for training with Deb Cole. She does such a wonderful job. Our dog Neville LOVED going to see Deb everyday! We went in for help with recall & “drop it” and she provided that specific training & more. We got to have 1:1 lessons with her & Neville to understand the cues we should use. Nothing fazes her & she took meticulous notes on our wants & Neville’s needs. She helped us build our confidence as well as our dog’s confidence! She is calm, patient but doesn’t let any dog walk all over her. I can’t recommend Deb enough. We will be back in the future!
Benji just graduated from the puppy head start program. A 2-weeks Monday-Friday program. Benji is an Australian Shepard with a lot of energy and strong puppy behavior. It's been an important 2 weeks for my family with 2 kids to learn to communicate with our furry boy. Debra Cole was clear in her instructions to our family on practice for good puppy behavior. We will continue to interact with the Range Pet Lodge for our puppy and dog needs. Most importantly, Benji loves everyone there and looks forward to going to the Pet Lodge.
Our 11 month old chocolate lab recently completed the Life Skills training program. Debra was knowledgeable and patient with our high-energy pup! She tailored the training to meet the needs of our puppy. We found the training sessions with Debra and our pup helpful and informative. Thank you, Debra!
Our journey with The Range began when we adopted a 12-week-old rescue Beagle we named Spencer. Spencer was living in an environment with very little human contact. He needed to improve his manners and needed confidence and social skills. We enrolled him in classes for Puppy Training with Deb Cole. She worked miracles with him. Spencer idolized her and followed her every command. Upon graduation, both Spencer and his parents were ready to move forward. Step two included confidence building and honing his social skills. The Day Care at The Range has helped Spencer improve his social skills. The caring and loving environment at The Range is best exemplified by Spencer’s attitude – he is so excited when we enter the parking lot, he can hardly wait to get out of the car. We feel comfortable leaving Spencer there knowing he will be well cared for and safe.
My dog, Zeke, completed 5 days of training with Debra Cole Last week. Zeke is a 2.5 year old rescued French Bulldog that we don’t know a lot about. His jumping behavior is unlike anything I’ve ever seen in 30 years of owning dogs!! Debra spent 5 days teaching him “Life Skills”. His jumping has definitely improved and he is doing much better . I loved the fact that we had a lesson 3x/week to review and learn to implement her techniques. The written materials are great for training at home. She shared a lot of great ideas with us that we found to be very helpful. She was excellent and very kind and patient with Zeke. It was well worth the money and a great experience.. I look forward to doing “tuneups” with her in the future. Zeke and I were sad when the week was over but we are practicing at home!!!
My toy poodle was groomed for the first time today at Club Canine and it was the best experience we’ve ever had! They were friendly and welcoming to both my dog & me, worked to accommodate my schedule, and gave him the best haircut he’s ever had! They clearly love dogs and I appreciate knowing that I’m leaving my furry friend in good hands!
10/10! Highly recommend. Very clean, they treat your dog like their own, they’re organized, the hours are very accommodating and they offer training during daycare too. We love Club Canine! Thanks for everything you offer and taking such good care of my girl.
i bring both of my lab puppies almost every day with me to work at club canine, and they absolutely love it! the staff dote on them and always make sure they’re safe and having fun! it’s a great and clean environment for them to play and rest! i am very anxious about leaving my dogs with just anyone, but i don’t even think twice about bringing them to daycare or boarding them at club canine! it gives me peace of mind to know who they are staying/playing with and who’s caring for them — they can be a handful at times! they are always nice and tired at the end of their day/stay and ready to go to sleep when we get home. i can’t say enough about how much i love club canine for my dogs!
Our doggie Clifford just LOVES Club Canine! He is so excited when we are turning the corner into the parking lot, and he jumps to get out of the car. The owners and staff are genuine and kind, and I know they love and take such good care of Cliff anytime he is there. If you are looking for a safe, trusted place to take your pup for a wonderful playtime with friends, this is the place to go!!
I had my young black lab here for almost a year. It is very clean. I never heard in that time they had problems with my pup. One afternoon they told my husband she barks too much and they diagnosed her as being too tired. They said she didn’t respond to their corrections. I had observed the staff’s corrections- The staff sits with the dogs yells at them to be quite when they start to bark then spray them with water. I am not Cesar Millan but! If anyone reading this has ever owned a lab or spent time with one- spraying the dog with water will not “calm” it down. Spraying water on a lab is like trying to put out a fire by spraying it with gasoline! I wish they had better understanding of doggie behavior. I never returned and took my dog to another place -4 Paws Lodge in Fishers. Same price double the space and a salt water pool. Not to mention they understand you can’t reprimand a lab with water!! Our new doggy day care has not had any problems with her behavior.
I recently got an Australian Shepherd puppy and being able to take him to work with me is such a blessing! He gets the socialization with other dogs which is so important and he gets the playtime he needs! And being able to board him overnight when an emergency comes up is so helpful. He loves being there and the staff are so attentive to him! If you need a place to for your dog to get energy out, to get socialization or to get loved on all day the club is absolutely a great choice!
We absolutely love Club Canine! Our pup is always so excited to go there. The whole staff is amazing, helpful, professional, and super responsive. It's clear they care about our dog, which means the world to us! She gets so much play time at the Club and comes home tuckered out and snuggly. Highly recommend!!
We took our Izzy girl here because she is high energy and we were moving to a new house! She needed somewhere to burn some energy and have fun. We LOVE Club Canine! The staff is so good to her, and she adores them! She has a great time and we don’t have to worry about her safety while we’re getting work done on the house! She’s had 4 visits so far, including a bath on one visit. We will definitely keep bringing her back as a treat so she can give her senior sister a break!
I bring my mini golden doodle puppy who has went as soon as she was old enough to go - she goes for daycare and she has stayed there for boarding. The staff is friendly and attentive I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a place to take your precious fur babies. Met the owner today and made me like the place even more! The best part is a tired puppy is a good puppy! Always know it’s a great place when your dog drags you in the door.
Charlie our Golden Retriever has been going to Club Canine since she was a pup. She can’t wait to get there and has a blast playing with all her friends. Jill and her staff are great and take great care of Charlie! We also have boarded, groomed and taken advantage of their excellent training. We highly recommend them!
