Annie sat for our cat, Tuna, over a long weekend. She was extremely kind and self-sufficient. When we arrived home, Tuna was relaxed and happy and our apartment was as clean and tidy as we had left it. Annie would be welcome to sit for us again any time, we'd highly recommend her.
I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!
Francesco has been taking care of my furry babies and my place while I'm away for well over a year now, and I couldn't appreciate him more. He is a joy to communicate with, and the most reliable person one could hope for. Being able to count on him while I'm traveling makes a world of difference, because I know I don't need to worry about anything while I'm away. Benny and Zumba love him and are very well taken care of. I know because I come home to two very relaxed and happy kitties. I am super grateful to have found Francesco!
Hannah and Joseph were so kind, so communicative, and clean! Kevin seemed so happy in all the photos they sent. Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.
Gwynn was wonderful! She was super communicative, flexible to come to our house beforehand to get oriented, and attentive to details. She connected with our pup, Scout, immediately and we felt so assured that he would be well cared for with her. We hope Gwynn can come stay again another time!
I was thrilled to have Courtenay as our sitter. We had a few last minute changes and she was very accommodating. She is a very pleasant, well spoken person who bonded very quickly with our dog, Pepe. We were in Europe and Courtenay keep us we’ll informed via internet, pictures and all. We came home to a clean house, a happy pet and a delicious pie she left for us in the refrigerator. You would be very pleased to have her as your sitter. Lucy Hottle
Wendy was great, she kept us updated on the dogs and all the fun she had hiking with them on the mountain. I returned home to a very tidy house. My dogs just loved her. I will definitely have Wendy sit for me again and would be very lucky to have her do a sit for you.
Julian and Susan were amazing, we came home to happy healthy creatures and a clean, tidy home and yard. They communicated with us during our vacation, both about anything unusual and just to let us know when things were going well (as they were the majority of the time). They are very adaptable and capable people, I highly recommend them for your home and pet needs.

Amanda was the perfect housesitter and pet sitter for our cat. She is organized and communicative, and took care to ensure she understood the guidelines for taking care of our home and our cat. She left our house in perfect condition and we returned home to one happy kitty! Would not hesitate to have Amanda housesit for us again or recommend her to others looking for a sitter.
Leslie and Kyle set the bar for all other pet sitters! On the first morning of their stay my cat got out due to a faulty window in my apartment and they handled the situation so well. Leslie sent a text explaining what happened and that my cat had returned safely and she was so calm about the whole thing that it put me at ease for the rest of my trip. Kyle went above and beyond and not only fixed the window screen (he actually fixed two screens during their stay!) but also made sure the window was secure until maintenance could come and fix the issue. Their go with the flow attitude was amazing. I would 100% have them sit for me again! I can not recommend them enough. You would be lucky to have Leslie and Kyle as your sitters :)
I have nothing but great things to say about Jill! She’s a wonderful sitter and I felt so comfortable leaving my dog and cat in her capable hands while I was out of the country. She was thorough in making sure she knew exactly what each pet needed, had excellent communication, and provided me with daily updates. I came home to a house that was even tidier and more organized than when I left and two very loved pets. I would highly recommend Jill to anyone looking for a kind, caring, consistent pet sitter. Thank you so much Jill!!!
This was the 3rd time that Jill sat for us. That says it all but please read our previous reviews. They all stand and Jill is one of the best and most reliable and loving pet sitters we’ve ever had. If you have a chance to have her in your home and caring for your pets, you will be absolutely delighted. We love her.
Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. I’m very pleased and would both recommend her and love to have her again.
Kelly and Chris are lovely people and we loved having them at the house! They were very engaged from the start, asking questions and wanting to know all the details on our pets. We were completely comfortable going away and didn’t worry during our trip knowing our kiddos were in such great hands. K & C gave us pics & updates as requested, and we loved seeing our pets have such a good time with them! They left the house in as good or better shake as it was found, laundering and folding linens and tidying up so well we could hardly tell they stayed here! They were communicative before the sit, during, and after. Kelly and Chris were the ideal sitters in every way. We’d welcome them back anytime and highly recommend them to others. Thanks you two!
Melanie and Steve were excellent house & pet sitters. They sent me so many pictures of my 3 cats without me even asking and it made me so happy to see them enjoying their company. I'd say out of all the house sitters I've had, they spent the most time with my cats which means a lot to me. They are kind, easy to connect with and I'd welcome them back anytime. As far as caring for my house - top notch.
Megan and her partner were INCREDIBLE pet & house sitters during my 5 days away last month. I received consistent communication in the form of updates & photos and I had the true sense that Megan was invested in the wellbeing of my animals and truly enjoyed being with them! My house was CLEANER than I left it (immaculate!) and she left a sweet card thanking us upon our return. Truly the best sitting experience I've had thus far, thank YOU so much!
Deboraj took great care of the apartment and of our goofy unsociable cat. She went out of her way to bring catnip and make friends with Rowan. She communicated often and cared to be as good a house and pet sitter as could be. I can gladly recommend her highly to anyone else looking. Thank you Deborah.
Heath spent a long weekend at my home taking great care of both dogs and the cat. He was able to help out on rather short notice, and I felt very comfortable leaving my pets in his care. Heath is friendly and reliable and left my home neat and tidy. I would definitely recommend him as a house/pet sitter for future assignments!

I cannot say enough good things about the sunshine spot! They are amazing! Me and my husband went on a week vacation and left our dog Gus in their care, and when I tell you he was treated like their own I mean it! Gus is a human and dog reactive dog so I was worried about boarding him initially but we took him for two sleep overs to get used to the facility and to Sarah and Nicola, and they went above and beyond our expectations. They sent photos daily of our sweet boy and their facility is also extremely clean and organized. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a pet boarding facility. Thank you sunshine spot for taking such good care of our handsome boy!
I’m very impressed with the quality of care that my three dogs received while they were there last week. It put my mind at ease when I found out that they had veterinary experience because one of mine needed medication administered while he was there. They sent me photos several times throughout the week, which I appreciated greatly. Everything was clean and it was a very nice facility. I am so happy with The Sunshine Spot that I booked another stay in a few months.
This was Timbers first stay away from us, so getting the pictures each day of our boy was so comforting! They even celebrated his Birthday with him! Also, everything was so clean and the ladies were so friendly and reassuring. Will definitely use them again!!
The Sunshine Spot is awesome! My pup can be a little anxious but they made him feel right at home and took great care of him. The daily photos and updates made me feel much better to know he was having a great time.
The team at The Sunshine Spot are nothing less than amazing! Receiving daily pictures and updates gave me a huge sense of peace and relief the first time ever boarding a pet. The facility is spotless. I highly recommend using the services of The Sunshine Spot!
The Sunshine Spot is an amazing place! Nikola and Sara are the real deal! They are highly skilled and full of love and compassion. I never dreamed I would find a boarding facility that I trusted until they were recommended to me by someone I trust. They also gave me updates and much needed pictures for this anxious dog mom ♥️
The owners are caring and assure each dog has lots of love. The facility is immaculate and the pods insure a quieter environment than other kennels. They even provide white noise machines to help calm dogs. And each dog has a clipboard with notes about needs and personality. Nikola and Sara are terrific.
Mily has stayed twice at TSS. The staff are wonderful and accommodating. I love that they send a daily photo to let me know my Mily is doing great. They get lots of love and attention at TSS. I highly recommend them.
My dogs loved their stay at the Sunshine Spot! Nikola and Sara took good care of them and always sent me pictures and texts while they were there. Everything was clean and well taken care of. They enjoyed hanging out with other small dogs at the "small dog party!" Nikola even videoed a reunion when I came to pick them up. I would highly recommend the Sunshine Spot - my boys will definitely be staying there the next time we go on vacation! Thanks again! Linda & George
Wonderful caring and safe facility for your pet. We boarded our 2 dogs for 8 days when we moved to the area in May. They have a great fenced outdoor space to run and play. Someone is always with them. Sent us pictures everyday so no worries. Cherry on top? Prices are great
Cori was recommended to us via K9 Curriculum. We have a high energy husky who would get over-stimulated in big, boarding situations and a fearful GSD who basically wants nothing to do with strangers. We had a major trip planned and wanted to get the dogs used to a new situation. Cori took her time getting to know my dogs and build trust. We did a few daycare stays and then some shorter overnight ones to get them used to it. She is patient, attentive and very responsive. We received regular updates when away. I trust her and feel very comfortable with my pups in her care. I highly recommend her and her facility.
We are very particular about where we take our dogs and with whom we trust their care. Cori was recommended to us by their groomer at K-9 Curriculum a few years ago and they have stayed with her approximately a dozen times. They are always excited to go, we get daily updates by video and/or text, they are groomed before we pick them up, and we have never had any problems with the experiences. We are pleased to recommend Happy Dogs to all of you.
We are new to the area and needed to board our 5 year old husky for the first time ever as well as have someone make once a day home visits for our elderly cat. Cori at Happy Dogs was just what we needed. It was a bit of a curvy, rural drive to her place but she has a small, clean, well run facility with separate indoor runs for each dog and a large fenced yard for them to play in. She stays in contact through texts and posts daily videos of the dogs. Our cat was also well cared for with daily photos texted of visits to the house. We've already reserved another spot with her for a future trip.
Cori has a beautiful facility and provides excellent overnight care to my 7 yo lab. He always has fun playing with the other dogs and I appreciate how well she supervised group play time. He’s happy when I drop him off and when I pick up. She posts daily video updates so I can be assured of his well being. Thanks Cori!
We have been taking our two weimaraners, Pepper and Finn, to Cori for years now. They jump out of the car when we pull in the driveway, and act like they are going to summer camp to play. They love their stays at Happy Dogs. Can't say enough good things about Cori and how she takes care of them.
We recently boarded our 7 month old pup for the first time and Cori took such great care of her!! Will definitely be bringing Charlie back to hang out with her new friends next time we go out of town. 🥰😊🙏🏻 …
We are very careful about where we kennel our beloved fur baby and we are so thankful to have found this safe haven. We can leave knowing our pet is well cared for and even more importantly, happy. Our dog starts celebrating with a happy dance when we pull in the drive. That my friends, is all the proof you need!!!
The owner, Cori has a natural bond with the animals that board with her! She's very patient, kind, and shows love to all. Her facility is very clean, and her number one priority is the comfort and care she gives to the furbabies that stay with her! She will go over and beyond your expectations!
We found Cori’s place when we first moved to Clyde and have been going ever since. Cori takes care of our doggie’s boarding, daycare, and grooming. Highly recommend Happy Dog Specialty Care.
Bentley, my German Shepherd, absolutely loves this lady! How much you ask?? I replay the video she sent me the last time he stayed with her. When Bentley hears her voice, he runs to get his halter & leash & goes to the front door to go see her & the day camp. The local vet has to sedate him for bath & nails.. not this lady, she got them done with no problem she is #1!!! Can't find anyone any better ! Very reasonable !!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I was happy with my experience here. My dog stayed for 9 days. I received some photos of him playing outside during his stay which my wife and I really appreciated. I was told he would be taken outside and given a chance to play 4 times a day, maybe even more if time allowed. I’m sure he loved that! The daily price was fair although a discounted rate for a long stay would have been nice.
It was our first time boarding our dogs and we will definitely be using CC in the future. We boarded our 2 dogs for 6 days plus opted for baths and nail trims prior to pick-up. They came back clean, healthy, and happy. I'd say price was good for what we got. I asked for email updates during their stay and received 2 emails with pictures, very comforting (especially considering it was our dogs' first boarding). Staff is also friendly and informative, definitely recommend.
I just absolutely love the owners, Jeff and Michelle!! I took my pit out there to have nails done, bath, etc... When I picked him back up, that was the most handsome dog that I had ever laid eyes on!!! Not to mention, the price was very well affordable. I will continue to do business with them.
Clean facility with professional staff. Our pup was in great spirits, smiling from ear to ear, and much cleaner (and better smelling) than when we dropped her off for an introductory (new client) overnight stay. We wanted to see how our energetic, rescued hound did overnight here before a couple of upcoming weekend camping trips. We have already made reservations for her to board here for those two upcoming weekends, and my plan is to honor those reservations. Only negative I can think of for those reading these reviews is the mismatch between their Sunday billing cycle and pickup hours. Pickup on Sunday is between 3-5pm. As the staff member explained it to me, their billing system automatically charges for the upcoming stay at 2pm daily, Sunday night included. Because of this arrangement, I was billed for a two night stay (Sat and Sun) even though our dog only stayed here Sat night. Fortunately, the staff member was understanding since this was our first visit. She explained to me how their billing system works and that I could come back for pickup before 2pm the next day (Mon). When I explained that did not work given my Mon schedule and that my young kids were driving me crazy about missing their dog, she waived the additional night's charge. I really wish they had pickup hours on Sunday before 2pm or maybe they could change their billing time for Sunday given their current pickup hours.
We left our 3 dogs for 4 nights. One big dog and 3 fur babies (15 and 7 years old). We were very pleased with their care. CC gave meds and bathed them and trimmed their nails before we picked them up. We're taking them back tomorrow for another visit. I would recommend these fine folks to anyone!
Thank you for all the times you took care of Cooper, he loved his time there! When he comes home he is so worn out from playing!(and he is a very active hunting dog). Cooper always came home clean and happy.
Lovely all female staff. Very responsive and friendly. Large front courtyard for play time and kennels kept tidy.
Excellent service. They treat the dogs very nicely. The place looks clean and organized. Although I didn’t request a bath, my dog smelled cleaned so they probably did something and I was okay with that. Everything was good for a reasonable price too!
Shockingly incompetent and dishonest. Despite everyone being very enthusiastic and friendly when I dropped off my cat, everyone including the manager was apparently unable to see how severely he declined during his 12-day stay. As soon as we got home, he was clearly very hungry, but spluttered and gagged and choked and druelled everywhere when I fed him !! I called Creature Comforts and they said he did that there too and "they thought that was normal" !! I had to take him straight to emergency, where they found he was severely dehydrated and had lost 15% of his weight during his stay. He had been "a little off" when I dropped him off, but even when I called in to check during my trip they said everything was fine and he was eating well. Clearly utter lies. Within 4 days, during a second trip to emergency, he passed. Devastating, and all the more shocking the way they handled it. When the manager finally called me, she was ready with a new story and claimed "he had been fine until I picked him up". Absolutely unbelievable. Don't trust them with your pet.
We love Creature Comforts. We especially love Ms Becky Franklin she grooms our furbabies. Would highly recommend them
I highly recommend WNC Pet Care! We were out of town for just two days but every detail of our instructions were followed by this incredible staff. Comments were made on each visit along with amazing photos of our girl Lilly in action on their walks and running in the dog park on the property. These folks are experienced professionals and they knew exactly how to warm up to our dog. Thank you WNC Pet Care and we are planning our next trips and will book dates in the future. Ray, Peggy, and Lilly
Simply Amazing. I might be bias because I work with this fabulous company. But I will say I fell in love with what we do on a whole different level. Being the client and not having to worry about our babies at all was stress free. Both of us Pawrents really appreciated all our wonderful sitters who gave our fur family all of the love and treated them as their own. In all the reports they all looked so happy and carefree not worrying about anything. They all seemed grateful to not have to go anywhere and have special visitors just for them throughout the day. I sincerely love making our reports when I am caring for others pet families myself. I must say I see why these reports are quite the rave, with the details and GPS map of any walks taken. We were able to see our nuggets taking their favorite routes and showing their Professional Pet Sitters around. I’m more than happy to say, that we LOVE WNC PET CARE and so do our babies. -From Boomer, Pepper, Shovel, KitKat, and two grateful hoomans. Thank you! 💖🐾✨
WNC Pet Care takes excellent care of my cat when I'm traveling. She's very high energy and loves people and they take the time to play with her and spend time with her each visit. Plus they'll take care of bringing in the mail, watering plants and bringing trash bins in/out. Full-service pet care!
WNC Pet Care goes above and beyond the call of duty. They're all so kind with my pets and keep me updated with lots of photos and sweet updates on how they're doing. I am always nervous to leave my little ones with anyone new, but they set my mind at ease with how organized and thoughtful they are. Can't recommend them enough!
WNC pet care is an amazing company and has wonderful sitters! Caroline and the team were superb. New to the area, we had a ten day trip scheduled and no one to watch our pets (one of which is special needs). They provided timely services and went above and beyond to keep our dogs happy and healthy and house clean despite multiple accidents. The constant updates and photos offered reassurance from across the country knowing they were cared for and received love and pets from people who understand and care about animals and their nuances. Recommend to anyone who needs daily walks to overnights for their fur babies!
We are so grateful to Caroline and her team for taking such good care of our cat. They sent daily updates with pictures so we knew everyone was taken care of, and reached out quickly if any issues arose. It was very reassuring to know all was well at home, and it allowed us to have peace of mind while away. The services are also very flexible and reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to recommend them and will absolutely be booking again when we need a pet sitter. Thank you so much to Caroline and everyone who came to tend to our animal family while we were gone!
Caroline and her employees are the most caring, friendly, and trustworthy people! My dog loves them all so much and they love him too! The thorough reports accompanied by photos every time they drop in to take care of my Corgi, Higgins make me so happy! I hate leaving him to go out of town but I can always rest assured he will be more than taken care of with WNC Pet Care. I like to have him stay home while the staff comes to check on him and walk & feed him a few times a day/night, but they have many options to meet your needs! I can’t recommend them enough.
The wonderful pet sitters at WNC Pet Care truly care for your pets! We absolutely trust them with feeding and medication schedules, and we know our cats are always happy to see them. Receiving updates and photos of our pets from every visit also puts us at ease when we are away. Great service - I highly recommend them!
When I moved her I interviewed 5 different overnight and dog walking service. They guys were the best and they’ve proven it for 2 years now. Run by former vet tech, all overnight sitters and walkers are educated, trained. I can trust the ladies that stay overnight (at my house) with my pups, they are amazing. They love my girl 🐾 and she loves them. Such piece of mind honestly. I don’t normally leave reviews I’m a hard critic, but when I do it means they are good! And for any Pete to e dog mom, you know what I mean. ❤️🐾
Excellent pet care and phenomenal customer care! This was my first time requesting services from WNC Pet Care during the busiest time of year, less than a WEEK before the holiday AND even though I had a complicated apartment to enter, Caroline and team exceeded my expectations. They genuinely care about pets and their customers. I cannot recommend WNC Pet Care highly enough.
Had a booking for our two dogs for memorial day weekend for over a month. The week before we leave they call and canceled the booking leaving us with no where to board our dogs. I will never use them or the vet service again after several visit. One of which one of our dogs come back with bite marks on her face and we were never notified about until we picked her up. If I could give zero stars I would!
First, I never through I'd be a 'dog camp' dog owner. Maple Tree changed that 100%. I cannot recommend Maple Tree Dog Camp highly enough. They are professionals, understanding, and thoughtful. They take amazing care of my two dogs and take their jobs and dog support seriously. When I was having trouble with my Aussie, they communicated respectfully and with support. They recommended a wonderful trainer who was able to help me understand how to better support my dog's needs. The staff genuinely love dogs and have been amazing for my dogs to have more human and dog interaction after having so much pandemic isolation. They also board and my animals have been there for short and extended stays. They love Maple Tree and are always so excited when we pull into the parking lot.
Posting here because I was disappointed in how our dogs were cared for this stay, as well as how the mgr handled it when I raised the concern. No real apology or attempt to rectify, just an “I’ll talk to the staff”. I see now that a very similar situation happened with someone else recently, and I am questioning whether to come back for overnight stays. We picked our dogs up this morning after a 2 night stay. Like previous visits, we pre-portioned all of their meals that were bagged up separately with their names clearly labeled, so it’s super simple and there would be no worry about portioning etc. One has a sensitive constitution and is on a special diet. The other 2 eat the same kibble but they are 70lb apart in weight, so obviously aren’t eating the same amounts. This has never been a problem before, but when I got them back—all of their individual bags had been thrown together into one bag with no regard for portion or food type. The manager claimed she did that because it was “easier” to gather their things. There were 3 drawstring bags, one for each dog, with their meal baggies portioned out in each. So if that was really the case, why wouldn’t they have stuffed 2 of the drawstring bags into one? They dumped every individual meal baggie out of each of their drawstring bags, and THEN put the empty bags on top. Why would that be “easier”? Doesn’t sit right. One dog had explosive diarrhea this morning and has been lethargic which is very typical of him when his diet changes even slightly. There was a very uneven number of bags remaining compared what there should have been if they were fed their respective portions 2x a day. We packed extra just in case, but we counted everything and it was clear something went amiss because the portions were way off. I can’t figure out why someone would haphazardly dump all their meal baggies together in one bag when it’s clear they are eating diff foods and are totally different sized dogs? Something is wrong with the oversight here, this is not okay! My husband is undergoing a long medical journey after a traumatic injury that requires us to travel out of state. Since starting that process, Maple Tree was the first place we trusted to watch our babies and has always been the best— I recommended them to everyone I possibly can. We really struggle to make ends meet but we always do whatever we can to get them in there for boarding since we felt like we don’t have to worry. Now I feel like I failed them. This was really disappointing to find after paying $300 for 2 nights of boarding and I am just left wondering what happened and why? No answer, no real apology or attempt to rectify the situation. I hate confrontation and am the last one to raise complaints but I will advocate for my animals every time. DO BETTER, MAPLE TREE.
They are the best groomers around. All 4 of our dogs love Uncle Rick and Casey! They do a great job!!!
We have been using doggy daycare for 2.5 years and have never had anything but positive experiences. Spring and the staff are all incredible and really know every dog. It’s helped my dog socially and with his manners. We have also boarded our dogs and they were treated well. This is the only place I would send my dogs for doggy daycare.
I just picked up my baby girl Dottie from a 6 night stay and very upset! First, she was scheduled to have nails trimmed during stay and as I was paying I asked about her nail trim and she informed me they didn’t have time to do it. I was like…but she was scheduled for it and she was here 7 days and you didn’t have time? And she replied no they didn’t have time and someone was out. No apologies from her at all! Then when they bring Dottie out they handed me her bag of food, medication and treats with her and out we went. On our way to truck and in truck I was overwhelmed with how she smelled and all the yellow staining on her white hair!!! Never have I ever boarded a dog and they come back to me drenched in urine and feces!! :( Obviously I had to bathe her as soon as we got home and her paws all the way up her legs and her belly was stained with urine!! Then I opens her bag and it still had 2 full days of food, medication and treats left over!!!! I will Never take her back here and will be going back by asap to inform the manager/owner!!!
We are delighted with the boarding & doggie day care at Maple Tree. Our Mr. Bentley is quite active & the activity he has there is good for him. And it makes him a "pet friendly" dog. The staff is outstanding as well & most accomodating. We also board him there & always feel secure knowing he is in good hands.
It’s not only a dog camp, the staff cares about your pet and will work with them and help train them. The staff is beyond 5 stars. I have a dog that is extremely active because of breed and he comes home exhausted because of all the activities and mental stimulation. Highly recommend to anyone that has a dog that gets bored throughout the day or needs stimulation.
Spring and the rest of the team at Maple Tree are caring professionals. My dog loves to spend time at the camp or for boarding. Make sure to make reservations in advance. They usually are booked up weeks in advance.
Our pups are always excited to go to dog camp. They come home happy but tired. Spring says they get their money's worth 😂 🐾 …
Even though the place is a little threadbare, the time the folks there spent with me and my dog to determine his temperament was 5 star customer service! Every time I’ve picked up my dog there he leaves the place calm, cool and happy. They also tell me in detail, who he spent his time with! What a gem! I’ve taken my dog to other places where I think he was just thrown in with a bunch of dogs - not so here! I will always bring my dog back here! They also offer 6 hour half days at a fair price which is generous of them.
My dog Adelaide gets SO excited when we pull into their parking lot. Been using them for the past few months and have had no issues. Friendly, down-to-earth place. I only wish they had more of a social media presence so owners get a better understand of what it is their dogs do all day and what kind of back end facilities there are.
We were from out of town on a family trip and needed a doggie day care for our dog. We had no reservation. They took us in with open arms and took good care of our dog two days in a row. They were very friendly and welcoming, unlike another doggy daycare we tried to go to. They asked questions to get to know him and how to best serve him. Hands down, best place to go.
I have two male standard poodles, who require calming meds for their grooming visits. Christina, and the rest of the staff, always make their visits less stressful and they love going there. Thank you all for the superb work you always do!
This doggy day care is absolutely amazing! They take such great care of our Raven, who always comes home happy and exhausted from a day of play. Even when she’s not feeling well, they provide updates and extra care. We’re so thankful for their dedication and love for our fur baby. Highly recommend!
We were in from out of town and needed a few hours of care for our 12-week-old puppy (our first time leaving him alone in this sort of setting!) The Pampered Pets team were so warm and friendly, and our puppy came home exhausted and happy. We visit Asheville regularly, and will absolutely bring our pup here again if we’re in need of pet care!
My two dogs 3.5 yrs old and 4 months old are on the mix of personalities. My oldest being a service dog. .... I’m contracted with mission hospital for an extended period of time . My dogs have been going there for 11 days non stop as I have been working continuously. Pampered pets has been a huge asset to know my dogs are exercising , pottying , and being feed in the almost 14 hours I’m away from them a day . My oldest doesn’t take commands well from others as a part of his training . However , the staff really takes notes when I have showed them how to launch commands , feed , etc with him and my youngest. They listen well when it comes to what the dogs need and how to care for them . They also put up with my antics of my one (sometimes two ) calls to check in and answer all my questions in their busy schedules. The staff is also extra patient with staying after a few extra minutes past closing to allow me to pick them up after getting off work . I will continue to use them in helping with care for my dogs . Thanks ! -Kya :)
The Pampered Pets Inn & Spa was almost able to accommodate our dog with the day care while on the vacation in Asheville. Since our dog is a new rescue and can have anxiety at first, we requested for her to be placed with calm and low key dogs. Our request was granted and morning staff took what we said into consideration. June seemed to have great time during her day stay. She looked tired and was quietly laying in the enclose with few other dogs when we arrived in the evening to pick her up. We were excited to bring her back the next day again. Unfortunately, what we witnessed next has changed our mind. The gentleman who greeted us informed the other guy by the radio that we are picking her up. The dark hair guy with a pony tail went into the enclosure to put a leash on our dog. Right then we noticed that she was afraid of him and shied away from him immediately. He had hard time approaching her because of that. Getting more frustrated, he started chasing her in the enclosure. It lasted for about 10 min and he was getting more and more aggravated that he couldn’t catch her. Then the guy that greeted us joined him in the chase. They had no game plan whatsoever and kept on chasing our poor dog that was running big circles full speed. Finally, they came up with “brilliant” idea to lasso our dog with their slip knot leash while she was running full speed by throwing the leash on her neck. Her neck bounced backwards in a whiplash mode after they stepped on the leash while she was still running. It was a sad and tormented sight to see since we could not get inside and they could not hear us when we tried to scream and get them to stop. We confronted the red hair guy who brought her to us that this was manhandling, unsafe, and traumatizing way of catching a dog. He dismissed what we had to say and said it was a common practice. We were so disappointed at what happened that we decided not to bring her in anymore and contacted the manager the next day. On the phone the lady ensured us that that behavior was unacceptable and wrong, and pleaded for us to bring the dog back. Additionally, she said that it will be addressed the day we called. At that time we made a decision not to bring her back regardless of the outcome or resolution of the situation.
Amazing place. Always takes great care of my animals for over 6 years now
Helpful staff, affordable pricing, and a convenient location for us. My wife works from home and not having a dog barking during meetings was great. Having only one dog that needs exercise that place is great. Looking forward to many more visits.
Penny loves going to the vet! From the time you walk in till the time you leave, you have friendly attentive staff not to mention the grooming and day camp. What a wonderful facility this is.
This vet is absolutely amazing and caring. I had a an emergency with my dog and I called EVERY vet in the Haywood county area and everywhere refused to take my dog and told me to take her to medvet in Asheville. This is was my last call and they got her in within 30 minutes and didn’t charge me any extra to see her. They were incredibly kind and caring with me and my dog. I will be switching vets.
What a great team of true professionals. They ALL love all animals. Couldn't be more impressed with the care, attention, and communication. I've used this vet for my 3 kitties and just recurred a stray dog. And when we pulled him in for a daycare interview they handled him so well, didn't allow for him to be "rude" to the other pets and guests. They shared the vision and a plan to help him improve (and no, not like public school where parents expect the system to do it all) along with some homework for us. Super greatful!
Maple tree does a fantastic job at taking care of Jacob. Both his time at day-camp on a weekly basis and his care at the veterinary hospital are top-notch! He enjoys going and having a great time, and I know that my dog is well taken care of. It gives me great peace of mind while I am at work that he is having a blast and thoroughly enjoying his day!
My dog has his eyes infected and I came to see a vet there. They were completely booked but I could make an emergency appt for a little higher price. I agreed and my dog was taken in in an hour. Prescription was made in the office, which was convenient.
My Bailey LOVES his days at Camp! All the folks who work there are super friendly and great with the dogs. Bay always comes home worn out from playing so hard! We highly recommend!
I was very pleased with the "new patient" exam with Dr. Birthright for my two cats, Basil and Murphy. So grateful to be connected to an experienced, personable and caring vet as we settle into our new Waynesville home. Thanks also to the vet tech and staff -- everyone was wonderful!
Maple Tree has been the absolute best for our little toy poodle mix. He’s the only dog in our home, so it’s important that he gets to socialize and play with other pups- and Maple Tree allows him to do that in a very safe and fun environment. The staff is wonderful and kind, and our boy is always just as excited to see them as they are to see him. We love Maple Tree!
Could not imagine a more wonderful and caring staff at Maple Tree Dog Camp and vet. Spring, Nicole, Amber, and the rest of the staff are wonderful with all of the dogs and take time to make everyone feel special. They helped our senior dog have some of the best experiences of her life and under their care extended our time with her. With our new puppy Maple Tree has helped her blossom into a sociable young dog. We are forever grateful for their time and energy and wouldn’t trust our pups with anyone else.
Our tuxedo cat, Griffin, typically only sees the Vet for yearly shots but recently had 2 injuries. The Maple Tree hospital staff & Dr. Birthright are always willing to see our cat immediately and Griffin was able to get last minute appointments each time. Staff are always caring on the phone and take such good care of all three of our pets. We are so thankful for the extremely competent, professional and caring staff. We trust our pets are in good hands.
