Great place to keep your dogs for vacation. We received constant updates with pictures and our dogs were freshly bathed and pooped from playing with all the other dogs when we retrieved them. Will definitely use again and would recommend to anyone who worries about their dogs on vacation!

Great place, lots of room for the dogs, lots of very supervised playtime, and groups are made to ensure that no dog is put with a dog they don't get along with. Very accommodating, and they accept unaltered dogs! (So long as they aren't in heat of course)

Five Pups is the country resort for your dog. Seriously! I joke with friends and family that my dog goes to stay at her country club. Arthur and Michael provide wonderful care for my baby girl. I was very anxious the first time I boarded her. She's a rescue and isn't the most play-motivated. Within 24 hours of her arrival, I was sent a photo of her snuggled up with Arthur! I enthusiastically recommend Five Pups to all of my DC metro area friends.

Five Pups is the best doggy daycare around and Michael and Arthur are awesome. Phinley is so excited to see Michael when he gets picked up and I have a wonderfully tired pup at the end of the day. I know he gets lots of play time in and the photos they send really mean a lot. I can't imagine taking my dog anywhere else and highly recommend them.

Arthur and Michael were (owners) were awesome and boarded our Boston Terrier for a recent four day trip. Arthur facilitated our pack member assessment, great meeting Michael for assessment and pickup/drop off, and a clean and happy pup returned to our home (even better behaved)! Truly caring canine professionals. Highly recommend!

Five Pups has been an absolute game changer for our little family. My husband and I both work full time, and even though we try to keep our pup, Mia, active and socialized, there's only so many hours in the day. Thank goodness for Arthur and Michael at Five Pups. They offer pick up and drop off, which makes things SUPER easy. Mia gets so excited when she sees them pull up outside, and she always comes home happy and exhausted. We really can't enough good things about them.

Incredible service and trusted daycare!! I was lucky enough to be introduced to Five Pups, and my 3.5 year old large breed pup, Bourbon, has been going there for daycare and boarding ever since! I trust Arthur & Michael with absolutely everything, and they truly go above and beyond to make sure the dogs are happy and healthy. We are so grateful to have found five pups!

Our almost 8 month old puppy has been to Five Pups for training and daycare. She is truly the happiest dog when she is at Five Pups! Before doing their two week training she was very easily over excited and definitely experiencing the beginning of what could have been really hard anxiety. Micheal taught her to calm down (among many other things), taught us how to keep her calm (also among many other things), and she is a completely different dog. We can't say enough about how safe and happy she is when she is at Five Pups, or how grateful we are for how much we have all learned from their training!

My puppy has been going to five pups for several months now and we both love it! Michael, Arthur and their team are the nicest people ever and I love sending my puppy to them for daycare and boarding. I also sent my puppy for immersive training with Michael, and she is like a new dog. He trained her so well but also trained us so we can keep up her progress—it’s been the most effective training my dog has gotten, and we have tried several different trainings.

I cannot say enough good things about Five Pups. When we brought home our rescue pup in February we reached out to Five Pups about day care. From our first meeting with Arthur it was clear that he and his husband Michael are true animal lovers and have a gift with dogs. Our Aussie/lab puppy Nebbi can’t wait to see Arthur on his morning pickups and showers him with kisses when he gets dropped off in the evenings. Beyond the terrific job they do for each dog in their care, Five Pups is the best deal in DC for daycare and boarding. Forget about the apps that are upwards of $40 for a walk. With our monthly package, our rate is about $25 a Day including early morning Pick up and evening drop off. My fiancé and I can get our work done on days we’re too busy to give Nebbi the hours of exercise he needs and Nebbi comes home happy and tired from playing all day with his friends. Arthur and Michael communicate with us daily about Nebbi and check in every Sunday to ask us what are needs are for the week. When he’s at daycare, Arthur and Michael send us pictures of our happy boy romping with his buddies. Arthur and Michael work with you to accommodate any schedule changes. I always try to support small businesses and when it comes to our pup, I can’t imagine him being in better care. I can’t recommend Five Pups enough! ❤️ IMG_8905.jpeg

We have used Five Pups both for boarding and dog training our very (very) dachshund and could not be more pleased with our experience. Michael, Arthur and their team are incredible. They send photos to let us know he is living his best life. But in particular I will highlight the training. I really didn't believe our dog could be trained. We were not even sure he could go to daycare and waited by the phone expecting someone to call and say "please come pick your dog up he is too much!" Not only did he do great at daycare pre-training, but Michael told me he never met a dog he couldn't train. If he can train my dog (he walks, sits, stays, and doesn't lose his mind at other dogs!) he can train your dog.

I have used several boarding and daycare places that I thought were good but meeting Arthur and Michael of Five Pups raised the bar. They are amazing. I actually think my dogs may want to live with them. Before I boarded the first time, they came over to meet my dogs and spent time playing with them. I also went to their home and saw their facilities and the huge amount of outside space for the dogs to play. They are so gentle and caring. The pickup and drop off service is extra convenient. When my dogs see Michael outside the front window, they cannot get outside fast enough which is really the best part - knowing they're happy!
