Pet Sitting in West Portland

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. 
Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention.
He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. 
He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. 
The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! 
We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. 
We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. 
Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). 
In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. 
We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Janis and her husband Dan were beyond phenomenal! Communication was great leading up to their arrival, especially with coordinating arrival and departure times. And during the sit, I got lots of picture updates throughout of how Isabel was doing. I could tell from the pictures how comfortable and happy my dog was hanging out with Janis and Dan and getting all the pets and attention. Coming home, everything was left so clean and organized. I definitely recommend them as pet sitters as they clearly took such good care of both my pup and my home.

Kelly and Pat arrived the evening before I left on my trip so we were able to have a nice visit and get to know each other a bit. They asked many questions about the dogs and the house so that they would feel comfortable with the pet sit.  Piper and Zuria were very comfortable with them. They sent pictures from dog walks, kept me informed and promptly notified me when there was one simple issue that they handled very well.  I’m not able to speak to the condition of the house on my return because a second sitter came right after Kelly and Pat and before I came home.  They spent time with the new sitter so that she would know how to take care of the dogs and negotiated the transfer time.  Kelly and Pat are a lovely couple and very interesting to talk with.  I feel lucky that they were able to take care of Piper and Zuria and would love to have them back again.

Kelly was flawless, she was a fantastic pet sitter and house sitter.  She was over communicating with pictures and updates.  We were at total peace knowing Kelly was overseeing Leo and Bella.  Kelly connected with our dogs perfectly. We loved how Kelly daily took our dogs for walks and even an extended hikes.  She has our full and complete recommendation.

I have nothing but great things to say about Jill! She’s a wonderful sitter and I felt so comfortable leaving my dog and cat in her capable hands while I was out of the country. She was thorough in making sure she knew exactly what each pet needed, had excellent communication, and provided me with daily updates. Erin was a great pet sitter who took such good care of little Chino. She was very reliable, kept us up to date with videos/pictures, looked after our home and kept it neat and tidy. Ce was an amazing house sitter for our best bud Atlas. She not only took amazing care of our needy pup, she took great care of the home as well. I honestly think she left it cleaner than I left it for her! We certainly hope she is around the next time our best friend needs a friend. Gowri was very patient and caring with Irisi who got sick the day before I left.  I cannot commend her enough for how she rose to the occasion and took care of my baby.  She even pick up meds from the vet.  My cat, Squinty, was very comfortable with her to jump in bed and wake her up early in the morning (as he would with me).  I am not aware of him doing that to other sitters that have stayed at my place.   I would give her 6 stars for Pet care if I can!  She updated me with Irisi's condition which really help ease my mind, knowing someone looking after my furry really cared.   I would certainly have her back again!

Jerry and Suzanne were absolutely ideal sitters for our home and pets. We spoke with them ahead of their visit and could tell that they are genuine pet and travel lovers. Over their stay we got to see even more that they are wonderfully friendly, kind, and responsible - plus they kept us laughing with their updates and descriptions of our pets' antics while we were away. Our pets and plants were well loved and our house was spotless upon our return home, and they were even kind enough to leave a few goodies in the fridge. Our dog in particular seemed to miss them and their long walks around the neighborhood. Thank you Jerry and Suzanne! We wish you well in your travels!
