Chelsea is the best!! Such a lovely human being and it was a real privilege to have her come all the way from Dallas, Texas to Ireland, to look after FiFi, our adorable feline, who comes with many quirks and little idiosyncrasies . I can honestly say that Chelsea took care of her exactly as we would have wanted - keeping to her familiar routines which are so important for her continued health and wellbeing. Fi Fi is well known in our local community and Chelsea fully immersed herself in social gatherings, enabling FiFi to maintain her bonds with those familiar to her. Chelsea has a wealth of experience in taking care of animals and it showed in the standard of the care she provided. It is obvious that she loves what she is doing and this shows through her level of commitment and attention to detail in the care she provides On our return the house was exactly as we had left it and Fi Fi was really relaxed and settled - the sit was purrfect!!! We were lucky enough to be able to spend some time with Chelsea the following day and really enjoyed her company and gentle nature - she was also a big hit with our neighbours , who like us were sad to see her go. I really hope we get the chance to meet Chelsea again and only wish she lived nearer!! She is a 5 Star + house sitter Chelsea, we can’t thank you enough for looking after FiFi so well - she loves you lots and so do we!! xo

Branden was a good sitter. He took good care of my dog, Aurora, and my plants. He left the bedroom in good condition. He even cleaned the bed sheets, which I appreciate a lot. The only issue is that the cleaning part in general could have been done better. The stove had crumbs all over, the fridge's door was greasy, and the bathtub was dirty. Also, the next day, I had to spend a couple of hours working on the kitchen pipes because it was clogged. This was my first time with a house sitter, I did not talk with Branden about the cleaning expectations because I thought it was common sense, but I learned that for next time I have to be very specific about it.

This seemed to be the perfect match of a wonderful, caring, pet/house sitter and our place. Gretchen sent us an update every day, with pictures most days, and it was obvious she loved our cats. She took care of our leaky pool and watering plants and the lawn and left everything spotless. She even left us some wonderful soup. We hope to have her sit here again in the future.

honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.

Jeannette was the absolute best pet sitter anyone could ask for! She was communicative and easy going. She took very good care of the house, but most importantly she took superb care of my dog, Bodhi. She took him on long walks and fun adventures everyday. While I was out of the country, I received pictures and updates of their "vacation". I loved seeing Bodhi's and Jeannette's smiles in all the photos. They definitely bonded. :) I would highly recommend Jeannette as a pet sitter and also as an excellent person who cares about people, animals, and the planet.

I felt that my dogs were in good hands with Billy & Cherice - both pups seemed happy and well cared for when I returned from my 3-week trip. My home was also clean and tidy. This was my first experience using an unknown sitter and I felt nervous to leave my dogs for so long while traveling abroad. If they were to stay again I would request more regular photo updates, but otherwise was very happy with Billy and Cherice's pet and home care.

This was the 3rd time that Jill sat for us. That says it all but please read our previous reviews. They all stand and Jill is one of the best and most reliable and loving pet sitters we’ve ever had. If you have a chance to have her in your home and caring for your pets, you will be absolutely delighted. We love her.

Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. The dogs loved her and the shy kitties came out of greet her mid stay. She left our home immaculate and well cared for. She is truly a winning pet sitter in our eyes! We hope she can come again sometime.

5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish. We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again. Our dog and two cats absolutely adored them, and we came back to a very clean home with happy animals :) They were very reliable and fast communicators. They even had to deal with our power going out while we were away, and they handled it well. It eased our minds to know our animals and house were in such great care while we were away and would have them sit for us anytime!

Milly was a lovely house sitter and I’d highly recommend her. She submitted a really great application and after a FaceTime chat it was an easy decision to choose her for our sit. She is the youngest sitter we’ve chosen but she has a maturity beyond her years and it was clear she had so much experience with animals that we felt confident leaving her in charge of our menagerie. Olive our young Pom has never been left with a sitter before so we were a little worried about how she would be but Milly was so patient, gentle and kind that she quickly won Olive over. So much so, on the morning Milly was leaving ,Olive would only let Milly put her harness on her before going for a walk. All the animals were perfectly cared for while we were away and we returned home to happy pets and a tidy house. Milly’s communication from our first contact and right through the sit was great and she even sent a lovely video of the dogs having fun on their walk. I’d have Milly back to housesit for us again anytime.

We live in Prosper which is a 40 minute drive away from the Lone Star Dog Ranch, but we bring our fur-baby Lilah here instead of somewhere closer. It's not like other boarding facilities. Our local facilities left them in small kennels all day, segregated small and large dogs, and if you wanted someone to play with your dog, you had to pay extra. When we used a local place (I won't name names) Lilah always came home with cuts and scrapes and we'd have no explanation as to when or why. It got to where she hated going and we hated taking her. And then we found the Lone Star Dog Ranch. The Lone Star Dog Ranch is exactly what Lilah loves - all day interaction with lots of dogs of different sizes, no segregation, and separation only during meals. They will ask you to do a trial with your dog to see if they're properly socialized, but she absolutely loves this place. We get within a mile or so of the LSDR and her tail goes crazy! She's so excited!! Now THAT is the kind of place you want to take your fur-child. Five stars forever, you guys!!
My preferred place to take my Vizsla when going out of town. It’s 90 minutes from where I live so it’s a bit of a trek nowadays, but if you are any closer it’s a no brainer. It’s priced very competitively to the larger Dog day care chains but you get so much more here.
The staff here was very easy to work with, with clear instructions on what their requirements are. I appreciate their vetting process and felt like my dog would be in good care here. We boarded for two nights and everything seemed good. Dog was happy and tired when we picked him up!
If you are looking for nice caretakers for your pups, this is not the place to come! 0 stars should truly be given to Lone Star Dog Ranch. My mother’s dog stayed here and when we were told he received a few stitches and was doing fine, when he was picked up it was quite the opposite. No apology has yet to come from Lone Star Dog Ranch. Unless you’re wanting to drop your dog off for a horrible stay, do not use Lone Star Dog Ranch to board your dog.
I cannot recommend this business enough for boarding your pet. I know my Chance is well taken care of and enjoys being around the other dogs and being outside.
I am so impressed by this place! I adopted both my pups. One of them at the age of a year and half, so he hasn’t really been socialized with other dogs, and the experience he did have, had clearly been an unpleasant one. Travis at Lone Star, was willing to work with him, reassuring him he was in a safe environment. By mid day, he was playing in the water and loving every minute of it! When I picked them up, both super happy, wagging their little tails! As you can see from the pics, also very worn out from all the fun!!! I’ve taken them to other places, and they would always come home FULL of energy, which tells me they didn’t get the interaction they needed! Pups are happy, and mama is happy! Highly recommend!! ☺️☺️☺️
You people wasted our whole day. We drove an hour there and then we’re told that he had to be neutered. I filled out all the appropriate paperwork. I called and made an appointment just like I was supposed to. We got there today and we’re turned away within 5 min. Our dog is an indoor house dog and has a lil French Bulldog as a sibling. He is a great dog. We were willing to pay you $600 to watch our dog for 11 days while we were in Hawaii and this is the kind of service we get. Ridiculous

This is simply the best run organization I have ever dealt with. I have been a part of other organizations in the area and Dog Ranch Rescue is by far the most welcoming, caring rescue community. It is clear how much compassion all of the fosters and volunteers have for these animals. I am forever grateful that they gave us our little Annelle who came from a Amish puppy mill situation. They are constantly taking in dogs who would otherwise lose their lives or live in horrible conditions.They are responsible and take the time to make sure dogs are placed in good homes.

I would rate even higher if I could! I left my two bulldogs there for a week and couldn’t have been happier. I received updates and pictures everyday and they were always so happy. One of my dogs is very scared of other dogs and people and she did excellent in their care! Would definitely recommend to any one and will use again in the future!
We are very happy we took our 7 month old Frenchie to Whistler Ranch Bed and Biscuit. We got daily updates of our girl Bleu along with photos. We will definitely be using them again. Highly recommend!!
Just got our little girl back after a week. She and Whitney are best of friends. Several pictures of them on the sofa together hanging out. This is a dog with special needs and a heart condition and she’s been treated so perfectly well. Her medication’s have been administered on time and she looks great.
Hank had the best time. We received multiple daily pics and a few videos while we were on vacation. Owners are quick to respond with any questions you may have. We just had a wonderful experience and are so happy we found a safe and friendly place to take our Hank when we leave town!
We couldn’t say enough good things about Whistler Ranch! We actually forgot to book with our regular place for the Thanksgiving holiday and luckily Jody had space for our two pups and what a blessing! They absolutely loved it! They had a ton of open space for exercise and freedom to roam and play! We got adorable pictures and videos each day of all the fun they were having! Couldn’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for boarding for their pups. Benji and Hadley will definitely be back to visit Whistler !
Such a great place to have your pet stay for any length of time. Jody and her staff are amazing and they love your pets and treat them like their own. Our dog loves their company and the way he is treated and cared for. I would recommend this establishment to anyone who wants their pet to be pampered and loved.
Jody and everyone at Whistler Ranch are great folks. We were referred by a friend and they have been absolutely great since day one. They always make us feel comfortable with leaving our fur babies with them. They always send us updates on how our fur babies are doing while we are gone, which is also comforting. Without a doubt I would recommend leaving your pups with them.

We boarded our 2 dogs (children) while we were out of town for a week. Everything was very professional and convenient. Our dogs seemed very happy when we picked them up which made us very happy. They had been bathed which was also an added bonus. I would highly recommend Whistler Ranch.
This was our first time bringing our dog to Whistlers Ranch and it won’t be our last! Jody is so amazing and makes you feel comfortable leaving your dog with her and her staff. She sends great pictures every day and is quick to respond to emails and texts. We had a bad experience at another boarding facility so I’m so happy we found Whistlers!
