This place is hurting for staff, which has made their hours more difficult over the years to make use of, but the owners are very nice and the prices are great. My dog has a blast every time she comes, and she always gets excited when she sees we're on the way there. The staff that are there are also nice, and I always hope one day they might go back to their old hours so I could use it more often, but it's still 5 stars in the meantime!

Our dog always looks fantastic after her grooming with Dawn. I'm so glad to have found a groomer who's consistent and really knows how to groom the giant breed coats.

My 15 year-old dog, Pixie, has been impossible to groom over the years; quite a few groomers have outright refused to deal with her "attitude". I brought her today to Golden Pet and the wonderful groomers not only did a magnificent job but my dog left happy and spunky. It was a miracle! The establishment itself is welcoming, quaint, friendly and "homey" and my dog will most certainly be returning.

We have been taking our German Shepherd there for 10 years. We board her there for 3-7 days at a time, several times a year. She is so loved by the staff! They genuinely care about Charlotte!!!! We feel very comfortable leaving her at Camillus Hills, we know she is in great hands.

Your Review My family (two smart, loving dogs plus my husband and I) think the world of Camillus Hills Golden Pet. We travel from Cicero monthly to have our dogs groomed by Debbie and the Golden Pet workers. We have traveled past many, many grooming places just to have the Golden Pet handle our pets. We have never found a more loving crew to care for our animals. Our current dogs (Buddy & Precious) have been cared for by the Golden Pet their entire life 6 years and our previous pup Jake for 11 years. We would not go anywhere else. Our dog, Jake even has a picture on the wall, he really liked Debbie.

Our dogs have gone to Camillus Hills Golden Pet twice now for a week plus stay both times, and we have been nothing but overly satisfied with our experience here. Our dogs seem to enjoy themselves here as well! 5 stars for sure!

One of my cats hates everyone but me, especially when it comes to administering medication. Trish took the time to figure out what my cat needed to feel comfortable enough to allow someone other than me to give insulin injections. She’s communicative and prompt, and I’d book again in a heartbeat!

Trish took care of my 5 fur babies (3 dogs & 2 cats) while we were out of town. She did an AMAZING job with them all and I came home to all the dog & cat dishes being washed & trash taken out which I never expected her to do these things! She is kind, caring and very easy to talk to and kept in touch with updates while we were away and I loved seeing the Facebook videos she posted of them. We will definitely be using her in the future to watch our dogs especially because it’s so hard these days to find good reliable people to watch our fur babies…so thank you Trish your service was greatly appreciated and I encourage anyone looking for a pet sitter to give her a try, you will not be disappointed!!

I’m really glad that we found Trish to take care of our dogs while we were away. We have 3 dogs. Two of the dogs are rescues. They are usually skittish around new people. That was not the case with Trish. They all warmed up to her right away. I will definitely use her again.

First time using doggy day care. I have 8 year old rottweiler. We dropped her off at 10 AM. Shot over to the state fair picked up at 8:30 PM. Gerda had a great day. And very reasonably Priced!

My husband and I recently visited Syracuse for a memorial service and called a handful of daycares in the area two days prior, but nobody could accommodate our dog. We needed someone to watch our senior rescue, Charcoal, for extended hours without boarding overnight, just so we could attend the service. Julie was so understanding of our issue and graciously offered to keep the daycare open for a few extra hours just for us. Having never met her or seen the facility, we relied solely on reviews and the first impression on the phone with her. When we dropped Charcoal off, one of the staff members took some info then whisked him away. We felt very comfortable based on the way the facility looked and the staff member handled our sweet boy. When picking him up later, Julie greeted us to tell us he just lied down and she was sitting there with him. She gave us a report for his stay and we chatted for a few minutes before we left. You can tell Julie loves what she does and really loves dogs. Had it not been for her kindness and understanding, I’m not sure how we would have made it to the memorial. Thank you to Julie and her wonderful staff at It’s a Dog’s Life!

I cannot say enough positive things about It's a Dog's Life Boarding. They are friendly, take care of the dogs amazingly, have a super clean establishment, and being able to set everything up online made it super simple and convenient.

Our dog loves her visits and it's great knowing she's at a place that takes wonderful care of her. We know she enjoys it because she comes home from every stay completely exhausted from playing with friends and enjoying the outdoor space.

My dog loves going to day care here every week. He gets out of the car and cant get into the building fast enough. Employees who are there when I drop him off are always so nice (even at 6:45 in the morning). My husband also has nice things to say when he picks him up. The pictures are a great addition. I love having the report card at the end of the day to see how my boy did that day with everyone. A face attribute for our boy is he is a very active social butterfly.

It was the first time we ever used a service for our 3 y/o dog. I was very anxious but Julie was such a pleasure to work with, incredibly professional and that gave us comfort and confidence throughout the process. Our dog seemed very happy and relaxed at pickup. Would highly recommend.

Very thankful for this daycare. We love how friendly and interactive the staff are. The facility is beautiful...tons of toys and room to play all day long! Our dog is safe during the day and comes home happy and tired. We love the cam which shows the whole play area. Thank you!

Absolutely the Best! All we have to say to our dog is "Do you want to go to Doggy Day Care? He goes crazy! When we arrive he is pulling just to get in the building! Now that in itself tells alot! The facility is clean, they have all kinds of toys and they even play with the pups! Our dog has made many new friends, and so have we!! The staff is always friendly, they treat my dog with so much kindness and love. Julie the owner is amazing. I was at work one night and lost track of time. She called me and brought my dog to me at work! Now if that isnt dedication and kindness!!!

Not sure where these negative reviews come from - this place is awesome. My dog having been to several dog daycare's already, I feel I'm pretty keen as to the standards at these places, and It's a Dogs Life is far above the rest in their care and attentiveness. It's in the details, like having rubberized/soft floors (not concrete), staff take time to actually engage with your dog (play, show affection, etc), and their is full transparency from the cams you can access. Also a great touch is the online account you can have with them. They upload pics of your little pooch, and even offer a report card. This kind of attention makes all the difference. This isn't one of those crappy concrete dungeons, that is essentially just a place to bring your dog while they monitor them walk around in a pack all day long - this is a facility that provides real attention, and care to your dog... just as you would. You would be doing your dog a disservice bringing them anywhere else.

We are so excited to have such an amazing place to take our dogs for a fun afternoon! I never question that they are safe and well cared for. They both come home exhausted from all the fun they've had all day. Thank you so much for bringing It's A Dog's Life CNY to our community!

Our new favorite place for nail trims! They were so awesome with my old girl and we’re able to trim her nails to the perfect length. They were super quick and the staff was very friendly! Had to try a box of their dog treats and my old girl loves them too!! Very very happy pup and owner. HIGHLY recommend

Our dog Louie just spent a weekend here, with boarding + daycare. He is a big guy but a but skittish, and this was his first time doing daycare & boarding. So i was nervous. When i picked him up he didn't seem to want to leave. I called after 5 hours of him being there and staff was quick to reassure me that he was doing great. They referred me to a Facebook post featuring their new, happy pup adjusting very well to daycare. They put me at ease and posted all sorts of pictures of Louie having the time of his life throughout his stay. We don't board often but we will be getting him into daycare more often because this place is awesome and he absolutely loves it.

Hey!! I literally never write reviews but Carms is literally the ABSOLUTE best place to go to daycare, board your sweet fur babies or get a cute little cut! My charliebear LOVES Carms and all of their staff. Ive been taking him here for almost 2 years and they remembered us by the 3rd time i called lol. Everyone is so attentive and sweet and always has your best interest as a customer. They have their 3 locations and every single one is beautiful. If you're in the syracuse area or just visiting this is your place to go! They also have a facebook page for every location and post the fur babies everyday (boarding and daycare) I truly recommend carms dog house.(BTW this is a picture they took of my baby...he's SMILING!!!)

When my dog needed her summer shave, I learned my long time groomer closed her business. It took months trying to find another groomer, waiting for a call back or being on a cancellation waiting list, everywhere I called they were booked out into September or not accepting new pets. Finally, I called Carm’s and explained my situation, they didn’t have anything available at the time of my call however a short moment after they had a cancellation and called me back without me even asking to be put on a waiting list. The appointment was for 2 weeks out and worked perfectly with my work schedule. Already they satisfied my needs. My dog had her grooming appointment today with Allie and I can’t say enough about our experience there. Allie was amazing and my dog happily went with her although meeting her for the fist time (usually my dog has anxiety leaving me with a stranger). Allie listened to my wants and delivered exactly what I asked for. When I returned to pick up my pet, my dog was happy and excited, in the past she’s stressed out and anxious after getting groomed. I am so pleased with Allie from Carm’s that I also scheduled my puppy’s first grooming session with her as well in the near future.

I have been taking my dog to Carm's for more than 10 years. Very trustworthy and takes care of your dogs at all times. Boarding and daycare and grooming services are all highly recommended.

Amazing ! Riley from Carm’s was friendly, informative and on time. My husband just had open heart surgery & we were unable to take our dog for a nail trim (90# Lab) - Carm’s fit us right in for a house visit & were great with our dog !! Highly recommend!!!

I have taken my extra large dogs for grooming at Carm's for a while now and have always been happy with their services. I had my dog groomed yesterday and felt compelled to write a review. She looks so beautiful and is so soft and smells so lovely. She was also very happy when I picked her up and I could tell they were loving her up while she was there. So pleased with Carm's and would highly recommend their grooming services!

I've had nothing but great experiences at Carm's. From daycare to grooming to just the overall excellent customer service. I've also had the opportunity to meet the owner a few times and he's a great guy.

Carmen and all of his enterprises are slums. The owner is as repulsive and repugnent as Doug Waterbury. Please don't bring your pets here. They're grooming practices are abhorrent.

My girl Sadie just about jumps through the door when we pull up to go inside. She is greeted with love every morning I drop her off. The pictures everyday show how much fun they are all having. Highly recommend!!

My mom has recently gotten Bella a miniature yorkie so I was on the search to find the best place to get her groomed regularly. This was her first haircut so my expectations were low because she is a puppy but Cori did a fantastic job! I made sure to bring in a picture of another haircut they had previously done. All the dogs there look so happy and you can tell they really care. The whole place is beautiful as well. Only took a hour which was surprising and Bella was perfect. Thank you Cori for your art, we’ll be back in 6 weeks!

Most unique experience for my dog and for our piece of mind! Cindy accommodated us on our recent trip for my in-laws funeral, all last minute. She is so very kind and considerate. Love the cottage, I have an elder dog that has so much anxiety and Pampered Paws put us all at ease, no cage but a wonderful and inviting room for the night. When we are in town and need of boarding we will book here 1st.

We’ve been going here since 2019. We love Cindy and the care she provides my shelties. She does amazing work and takes such great care of them. I’d recommend her to everyone who needs boarding and grooming services for small dogs.

I do mostly boarding here. They are amazing! They take such great care of my dog Pickles. Shes a regular here when we go on vacations. One time she ended up having a reaction to a bug bite and they went above and beyond to take her to the vet and keep us updated. We were so grateful. Highly recommend!

The owners are super attentive to our dog each time we bring her in and show so much love and care for her. Always extremely friendly when we go in. Absolutely recommend this place if you want the best boarding and service for your pet.

My anxious little girl had been with me a little over a year when I had to go away for a few days. I had nowhere that I trusted to bring her during that time…until Tiny Tails! Jeff kept me updated with pictures almost every day. She even made friends with another pup named Burke. I think she’s letting me know it’s time to visit again!

We live in NJ, but had to be in Syracuse for our son to have a medical procedure at Upstate Medical University Hospital. We booked a pet-friendly hotel, but knew we didn't want to leave our pooch, Charlie, there when we were away from the hotel. We boarded him at Tiny Tails for the first week, then took him back a couple of times for daycare. How do we know he loved it? Because he pulled like crazy to get back to Jeff & his barking buddies! Jeff was very flexible with us and after meeting him we felt comfortable leaving our "baby" in his care. This place was a real find! I highly recommend it!

We love this place! Jeff and Tammie really go the extra mile! The pick up service is so convenient for busy people like us. Since sending our 2 older dogs and our puppy we noticed such a difference in their behavior. Our 2 older dogs had never been to daycare before and loved it from day one. Jeff and Tammie run a first class doggie daycare for smaller dogs. I have boarded my four dachshunds with them several times and they all had a good time. Tiny Tails is a super clean facility, Jeff is patient and kind and I’m glad they are so conveniently located in Eastwood.

I LOVE Tiny Tails!! Jeff is amazing with the animals! I have a 3 legged rescue Cairn Terrier, Roo, and she was very timid and frightened of people and strange places. With Jeff's patience and love, she now loves going there and seeing all the other dogs. When I need to go away on a trip, I ONLY trust Tiny Tails to look after Roo! :)

My wife and I searched for several weeks for a place to board our 4 month old Aussie Shepherd Blu. Since this would be our first time boarding him we wanted to be thorough. Blu felt right at home the first time he walked into the building at the meet and greet at Tiny Tails. Jeff was extremely easy to talk to and we felt very much at ease knowing he and his wife Tammie would be taking care of our baby. They were responsive when we texted to check on Blu. Indicating that he had even made a few friends. We've even decided to use their daycare service a few days a week. We just couldn't be happier knowing that we've finally found a place that is safe, professional, clean and comfortable for Blu. We've been going for a few weeks with our 3-month-old puppy! The staff in Syracuse are so kind and helpful. The puppy training Saturday mornings hits the sweet spot of low stress while being effective- the perfect amount of socialization and training for owners and pups. The trainers do a great job of guiding the session and jumping in to help as needed. We weren't sure about doing the 4-hour Tuesday/Thursday morning puppy socialization classes, but we've noticed a great impact on our pup. And since he's still too young to be out in the world without his full vaccinations, he's getting socialized really well very early on. That makes it totally worth it at such a young age. The trainer feedback isn't super detailed, but it is helpful and satisfactory to us. It's a great environment for puppies and their owners!

I have two pups that absolutely love going to Blue Prints. I trust them to care for my dogs and they always come home tired and happy. Blue Prints provides services like birthday parties and training (my girl is taking agility training right now and LOVES it). We'll be going to Blue Prints for a long time.

This place is great. We have been bringing our beagle puppy there for "kindergarten", adolescent training and doggy day care. The staff is great, everybody is very friendly and they all love doggos! We are both learning a lot, and Booker T loves it there!!

All the staff have taken great care of our dog who went through the puppy socialization class, obedience 1 & 2, as well as weekly daycare. Our pup leans on the socially awkward side so all of these programs have really helped him be comfortable around other dogs and people. The trainers are hands on, provide feedback each session, and even help with questions and problems outside of the curriculum.The staff are really friendly, personable, and professional. We couldn't recommend them enough. We wish we could bring them on our move away from Syracuse as we will dearly miss them.

A couple months ago, we brought home a new puppy which should have been a really happy and exciting day! We were surprised when our existing dog didn't react well at all, and knew we were going to need some help integrating them so that everyone felt safe and happy. I called around to many different behaviorists/training facilities but had no luck. Enter Blueprints Dog Studio! Alexis came to our home to assess what was going on, and helped us come up with a plan. We prioritized helping our puppy learn appropriate socialization skills with their Puppy Socialization class because of her age. After several weeks, she has learned how to read our older dog's behavior and doesn't push him. Now, our older dog goes to re-socialization classes where they are teaching him how to manage his stress and how to correct behaviors in a measured way. He's still going to training but we've already noticed a huge improvement in the way they interact. For the first time since she came home two months ago, they played together in the snow!

I love this place. From the moment I first called asking for basic information, they were incredibly helpful. They’re extremely flexible, accommodating and professional. It’s clear the entire staff truly cares about the animals. We’ve done at home private training, group training classes, and day care. Each one of those experiences has been above and beyond what I expected. We’re so impressed with the progress our 7 month puppy has made and how much more confident and well behaved she is. They’re also extremely affordable, considering the value of what you and your dog get out of it.

I have been very happy with Blue Prints, no complaints at all. All of the staff have been friendly, helpful and genuinely care about my dog. I feel that he is safe and well cared for and in good hands when he is there. We've taken several training classes there and the lessons are reinforced throughout the day, it's not just play. The classes have been very beneficial to me and my dog and they are fun as well. I can also arrange grooming from the Pink Pug next door during the day while he's there, they have also been wonderful. Our experience has been great and I hope to bring my dogs there for years to come.

What an amazing woman!! I mixed up the reservation. Long story. She had never met me or my dog, but after a quick meet and greet, me supplying all the paperwork needed, she willingly took my dog for 3 days. I will definitely keep her as my dog sitter!!!

Kenzie has watched our dogs several times and it's always been a wonderful experience for both us and the pups. I always know that my babies will be spoiled and treated like family. I honestly can't recommend her enough. Why board your dogs in a kennel when you can have Kenzie treat them like family?
