Steven and Ariel were amazing house sitters. They came to meet my husband beforehand to introduce themselves, which I thought was nice and reassuring. They sent us frequent updates and photos of our lovely Fluffy. The kids and i enjoyed seeing what she was up to… she looked very happy with Steven and Ariel in the photos and videos and I could see they were treating her very well. Once we got home Fluffy was relaxed. They left our home exactly as they found it, plus they cleaned up a pan I had nearly destroyed and left a beautiful floral display. We were very pleased as they made our few days away worry free and the process was effortless. We would be happy for them both to stay in our home and look after Fluffy again.

This was the second time within two months that Paula came to look after my house rabbits Max and Cyndi. Cyndi had just had surgery in connection with her ongoing bladder problems and needed medication during the recovery process. "Nurse Paula" again did a great job and on top of that took my bunny to the vet halfway through the sit for a quick follow-up appointment. She also informed me immediately when my boy Max seemed a bit off and gave him some emergency meds for his occasional "upset stomach" right away. He thankfully seemed normal and hungry when I walked through the door a few hours later! I am grateful having had Paula on my site during this time since she was a great help and did everything without further ado. She always leaves the house spotless and is the most pleasant house guest you could wish for. I very much hope to welcome her again in the future!

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.

Linda was an awesome pet sitter for my doggie Brodie! She gave him so much loving attention… he has some separation anxiety at 9 years old & she never left his side! She was so attentive to him & I am very grateful for that! Linda’s communication was also something I liked… we texted & chatted on the phone before her arrival & I felt very comfortable with her being in my home & with my dog. Laura was an exceptional, reliable, and loving sitter for our goldendoodle Scout, and took such good care of our home! Scout was excited to meet Laura immediately when she arrived at our home for this sit, and showered Laura with all the hugs and kisses. Scout has recently been having issues with seizures, so for this sit I was specifically looking for a sitter who had a depth of experience with giving medication and responding calmly in the event of an emergency. It was a big relief to be able to entrust Scout to Laura's capable and kind hands, and it was extra special that Laura's beloved vizsla had shared the same name. Laura is wonderfully easy to communicate and coordinate with, and was thorough in her care of our home. We came back to our garden looking great, house left in even better shape than I left it to Laura, and a very happy Scout! I cannot overstate how much we appreciated Laura's care for Scout and our home, and heartily recommend her as a pet and house sitter. If you're lucky enough to get on Laura's schedule, your pups will be with the most wonderful stand-in dog mom you could have hoped for!

Jacob sat for us during our holiday in March. We do not have any pets but we do have garden plants etc to look after. Jacob did a fantastic job of looking after the young plants that had arrived by post the day before we went away. He sent us regular updates and photos of how the plants were doing. We came home to a very clean and tidy house and thriving plants. Jacob did a great job and we have no hesitation in recommending him. If you’re lucky enough to find Anna as your pet sitter you will have peace of mind and well cared for pets whilst you are away and a clean and tidy home on your return. Anna is thoughtful and kind, she arrived the evening before the sit which allowed for some time to hear about her interesting travels and work, kept me updated with fabulous photos and details of the friendship she was making with the cats and even took the trouble to fix a sticky catch on the cat flap. Janis is absolutely the best pet sitter and home care we have had. She is a regular for us during our Christmas vacation because we totally trust her with the care of our three dogs and the management of our home. She is so good and efficient that I have already requested that she sits for us again next Christmas. Our three dogs absolutely adored her as she played fetch, took them on walks, loved and spoiled them. Management of our home was excellent. I had no concerns whatsoever as we had packages delivered and Mail that needed to be picked up. The house was in much better condition than what we left it. Viola and Happy Puppy came highly recommended to us and so this summer our cavapoo spent 11 days boarding there. Viola sent regular updates and photos which was so lovely to receive, we could tell Reggie was in great hands and being well cared for. We was recommended to Viola at The Happy Puppy as we wanted more of a home from home setting for our 10 year old Coco. We received a very professional service and Viola really made you feel welcome and everything was discussed to your needs for your pet. We love Lulu ( German shepherd dog) very much and leaving her with anyone has always been a worrying and unsettling thought. However, we left her with Viola a few times and each time Lulu was returned to us happy and healthy. Viola makes sure her physical and mental wellbeing as well as her safety are her priority and we couldn’t be more grateful. Experienced, kind and caring, will always recommend. We can’t imagine leaving her with anybody else.
Viola is a lovely lady, she is professional in her business but obviously has a a big love and understanding of the dogs in her care . Frank came home happy and well cared for, we had lots of updates and photos sent during his stay and Viola even managed the impossible, he even came home with beautifully cut nails! We would not hesitate to leave him with Viola again. Thank you Viola, you gave us peace of mind that Frank was just fine.

Was the first time for my German shepherd Ice in the kennels , the first time without us , we took him yesterday the 2 nd of September . The team looked very well after him , I can tell they’re really profesional handling the dogs as mine is not very confident at first but with nice kind words they seemed to win him over ! We went to pick him up and waited outside for the cab to go back home and Ice was pulling to go back to them . Was a very positive first time experience for Ice and I’m sure he’ll do great next time here for 2 weeks while I go on holidays in October . Thank you all and specially the girl that looked after Ice , didn’t catch her name ( tall girl ) .
My crazy Labrador Pumba absolutely loves going to Country House Kennels. The staff are so caring and really want to make it a loving, fun experience for our fur babies. Added bonus is the Facebook posts that show our pets having a ball. It really reassures and makes it easier leaving them
I use Country House regularly for doggy daycare but first time as a boarding place. Very happy with the service. We we were able to take everything that made our dog's stay comfortable. Check in and out were very easy. Our dog came out very happy and we will be returning in two weeks for another stay. This time we will be relaxed as second time around we know she is well looked after and had a good time without us!! Would highly recommend Country House.

Just left our dog here for 10 days. It was the first time we have ever left him so we were quite anxious. We did an overnight a week before as a test run and he was great. A great little place and I got an instant vibe that my dog would be fine here. Would highly recommend. Will be planning my next holiday now that I have a secure place for my pup to go. Very reasonably priced too.
Very impressed, we’re always worried about leaving our dig in a kennel but these were excellent. Our dog is very nervous around other dogs but within a few days they had her playing with others. Great work!
First time of using Country House for a "sleep over" and very impressed - I thought it would be good as we use Country House for daycare one day a week. We were allowed to take Casie's own bed and toys to make her feel at home. We appreciated this to help make that first visit enjoyable. We saw the kennels before booking and again we were impressed with what we saw and how they were ran. Casie came out to us the following morning very happy so I can only assume that she did not find the experience traumatic! The staff at Country House, both at the weekend and during the week, are so friendly and always willing to chat and answer any questions. I would recommend Country House to anyone looking for daycare or kennels. Casie will be returning again for another "sleep over". Thank you Country House for taking good care of our pet - it is much appreciated.

We had a wonderful experience leaving our small dog at Country House Kennels & Cattery for an overnight stay. The staff was welcoming, easy to talk to, and provided regular videos of my dog’s activities on their Facebook page. When we picked him up, he was happily exhausted from all the fun he had. We really felt confident in their care and would definitely choose them again. Highly recommended for their exceptional service and love for pets!
We had never used these kennels before but our dog seemed very happy when we picked her up, it was lovely to see videos of her on Facebook playing with other dogs and enjoying the water. We also paid for her to be bathed before we picked her up, her coat was lovely and shiny and she smelled wonderful, will definitely use these kennels again.

Our dog Woody had a great day at FourPaws. It is the first time he has been to Daycare and I was unsure how he would be in a new environment. I need not have worried, he settled in straight away and was perfectly matched with the other dogs for a full day of fun. Rebecca posted messages and clearly enjoyed spending time with the dogs and made. sure they were specially treated depending on their personal needs. When I picked him up, he was in no rush to come home and was very chilled at home that evening.
My two dogs have been to Four Paws Pampering three times now they’ve both got separation anxiety and struggle with new environments. Rebecca kept me updated throughout the day, and I could see that they managed to relax and enjoy the time spent with her. I needed to go to work and had to leave Reggie, but didn’t want to leave him because because he was just recovering from surgery, so this was the perfect place for him, because he could have that relaxed environment and not hurt himself any further.
I cannot recommend FourPaws Pampering highly enough! I took both my two dogs Luna (Shitzu x Jack Russell) and Boey (Pomsky) they loved there full day with Rebecca and so did we 🙊 Rebecca knows a lot and is very comfortable with the dogs and treats them like her own which we love! She also has her own so knows how dogs can be! She kept us updated and we got pictures and videos which was lovely! We can’t wait for the next day they are with Rebecca and neither can the dogs! 😁
We booked our dog Duke in for a daycare, and we couldn't recommend FourPaws highly enough. From the start Rebecca was very professional, informative, and friendly to providing answers and information to all our questions. We were kept up to date with photos, videos, and posts on the Instagram page throughout the day, which was great to see how much fun Duke was having. We’ve never seen Duke so relaxed and happy when he came home, he was pretty much asleep all evening from the time spent at FourPaws. Excellent service from start to finish, we would highly recommend.
Took our 10 month old Labradoodle Alfie to Fourpaws Pampering today and had a brilliant time, he’s been flat out snoring on the sofa since we arrived home! Was great receiving pictures and videos of Alfie doing zoomies round the garden, was really nice to see him having so much fun while I was at work! We have an older dog at home and when I collected Alfie, Becca mentioned he was not happy with other dogs coming near his food when he’s eating , something we have never experienced before with Alfie because our older dog exhibits the same behaviour towards him when they eat/bones/toys etc. It was great Becca discussed this with me, as we were totally unaware how he was behaving with other younger/less dominant dogs around food. Becca was super accommodating of my work schedule, she’s a knowledgeable & lovely lady with a genuine love for doggo’s, 10/10.
Highly recommend Fourpaws pampering. Odin is incredibly anxious and high energy, he was deemed unsuitable for his last day care. Following on from our previous experience three years ago, we were hesitant to try another daycare. Fourpaws pampering catered to Odin’s unique needs, communicated with us throughout the day and we left with a very happy/sleepy pup. Fourpaws offers a unique, intimate service for dogs that need that extra bit of support. The environment was not overstimulating, loud or overwhelming. If you have an anxious, sensitive, complex or older dog this is definitely the daycare you want to use.
My two boys had a lovely day with the Four Paws family! I got to see some lovely snaps of them enjoying their treats, toy time and pampering. They came home super relaxed and snuggled into bed pretty soon after arriving back!
Yogi bear visited FourPaws yesterday with his separation anxiety, after his initial break for freedom I think he had a great time with his pampering with Rebecca. After his visit he came back very relaxed. He hopes to visit again soon.

I cannot recommend Comfy Canine Care enough! I was let down by another dog sitter just before I was setting off on a 2 month trip and I took a risk and placed Alby with Chris and Lillian. I couldn't have made a better choice. They offer everything (and more) that they describe on their website. They are to be trusted, they listened to what Alby needs and followed my instructions but also made good decisions for him and his wellbeing. They send me regular updates and photos which was very reassuring. He was so happy with them, and so settled when I brought him home, which was evidence that he had been lovingly cared for. He even got a Christmas stocking which touched me beyond words and speaks eloquently of the love he was given.
We left our dog for just over a week whilst we were away on holiday and as this was the first time we were leaving her for such a prolong period, I was really worried and anxious. When I met Chris and Lillian, I felt reassured. Nala had an amazing time and we were had regular updates with pictures and videos throughout the stay. Comfy canine care is literarily home away from home. We will certainly be using the service again in the future. I live about 30 miles away but will happily drive up to use their service again.
Lillian & Chris, gave regular updates on my boys stay, which was reassuring. Pictures of them out and about with new friends enjoying themselves. Their home was very welcoming and I will use them again when required. I would recommend Comy Canines.
Having not left our 2 dogs before and not wanting to use a kennel, we were so please that we chose Comfy Caine Care. They really catered for the personalities (both have their characters!) with one being more needy and one being more relaxed. We were so pleased of the daily updates and photos we had, as it really reassured us as they settled in as they were their for 8 nights. I really cannot recommend them enough and this will be our go to place when we next go on holiday, knowing that with them the dogs will also be having a holiday!
We can’t recommend Chris and Lillian highly enough. From the first meeting we knew they would be the perfect people to care for our girls while we went away. They were loved and looked after to the highest standard, we had messages, pictures and videos everyday and the girls got lots of exercise and played nonstop. With the weather being so warm they had air-con to help keep them cool which I know the girls would have appreciated. Our Linda went into season unexpectedly and this wasn’t an issue at all, Lillian had everything needed to help Linda feel ok. Little Darcy welcomed the girls into her home and shared her toys, bed and humans. She’s just the cutest, kindest little dog. I know our girls are missing Chris, Lillian and Darcy and I hope that in the future they would be happy to have Maggie and Linda again, we feel extremely grateful and appreciate them for how they looked after the girls for us.
Lillian and Chris took care of our 9month old puppy as if she was their own dog. We received regular updates of how she was getting on which really helped us not to worry. Nothing is too much trouble for them, their care level is first class. We will definitely be using them again, as Millie was so happy when we collected her, not sure she wanted to come home!!!!,
Lillian was fantastic with our cockapoo, Bernie for a week while we were on holiday, and he really enjoyed his time there. 100% recommend.
Thank you so much for taking such good care of our little baby! Jacinta was so we'll cared for with regular updates which set our mind at ease whilst we were away. I have used pets and pals for the last 3 years. Eliot and the team walk my border collie - Shiloh, twice a week. They are so flexible and friendly, if I ever need to change my plans there are no issues or questions asked; they are extremely reliable and normally have Shiloh out of the house for over an hour! So I know she gets a great run around. Couldn’t recommend Eliot and the team enough!
I have had Eliot take my dog buster for walks for many years & would highly recommend pets and pals. Eliot is very professional, reliable and accommodates even at short notice. The dogs also spend in home boarding with Eliot when we are away on holidays and are always happy and well looked after on their return. Eliot at pets and pals looked after my precious cat George whilst I was away for a week. George hates travelling anywhere so the thought of taking him to a cattery filled me with dread! He's mainly an indoor cat so I knew he would be more comfortable staying at home. Eliot visited everyday to feed George and sit and play with him for a short while, I even recieved daily pictures to reassure me my fur baby was in good hands and well looked after! Using pets and pals took away the stress of leaving him and I came home to a very happy George! Would highly recommend Eliot and his team very reliable and great value for money! Thank you
Elliot and team are great. Reliable, trustworthy and very friendly. Very convenient to have a helping hand when it comes to wearing out my super energetic pup. Elliot always spends a little extra time to fill me in on pup’s behaviour and is always dropping helpful tips along the way. Would recommend to anyone looking for a pet sitter/walker who they can trust to do a great job.
Eliot is very friendly, and very adapting to ones needs. My pup is very happy to see him and go for walks with him. I feel happy and safe with my pup being in his care. Also any advice needed he is always willing to help.
We use Pets and Pals for dog walking during the day when we are at work. We could not be more happy with the service, our dog adores Eliot and he's never let us down. Pets and pals holds a key to our house, all the relavant paperwork was completed and I have no trust issues what so ever. We get video and photo updates of walks and I've never once come home to muddy carpets, just an exercised more relaxed dog. It's such a relief to find a dog care service locally who we trust. I have 2 naughty bengals who are indoor cats. Whenever I go away on holiday or for the weekend Eliot and his lovely mum Linda always look after my babies for me. Even if I need the cats to stay with them it’s no problem. Linda always leaves a note to update me how they’ve been whilst I’m away and checks I’m home to make sure they’re okay. I’d always use Pets and Pals as I trust them 100% x

This was the first time we had left Buzz with a dog sitter as he normally goes into the kennels - which he hates. Paul was brilliant from the outset. He had Buzz for a trial sleepover - which went really well. Buzz then spent 2 weeks being spoilt rotten. We got regular updates from Paul whilst we were away and it was so reassuring to see a happy dog. We will definitely be using Paul's Pack again.
We first took Zuma over to meet Paul and his doggies. We'd previously met Paul in the park on a walk. We were impressed by his paperwork, dog knowledge how much he put us at ease plus the variety of walks he goes on. Zuma has stayed over night on numerous occasions now either for a weekend or for a week. Zuma loves it there. We enjoy seeing the photos Paula sends us for updates when he has Zuma.
As dog owners (past & present) we have NEVER entrusted anyone other than family to look after our beloved hounds if out for a period of time; be it overnight, or longer. There is no question it just wouldn’t happen, full stop. That is until now….. Without hesitation, we would recommend Paul’s Pack for the ultimate dog home-from-home experience. When your pet pooch can sleep on any bed of their choosing, whether occupied by a human or not, go on a variety of amazing walks, in any weather, have their every need and quirk catered for it will be Paul and his family we’ll be asking. He just loves his dogs; when we say ‘his’ that’s exactly how he treats them all: big, small, young, old, Paul’s extended family. Not many homes would open their doors with open arms for our big daft Setter, he loves being there in his 2nd home from home.
Paul is great with Eddie, really reliable, brings Eddie home clean after a muddy walk! Always accommodating where possible for day care or extra walks. The best thing is Eddie adores Paul and cant wait to go out with him and the pack, he loves the enclosed field Paul has access too. Highly recommend! Thanks Paul.
Our 1 year old boy Gino really enjoys being at Paul's. He has had day care and boarding. Paul takes the time to send photos when Gino is boarding for several days which puts our mind at rest that he's happy and enjoying himself. Thanks for taking good care of Gino!

We are extremely grateful to vicky for taking such good care of our beagle Ray for the past 10 days. She kept us updated with regular pictures and messages to let us know how he was getting on. In every picture Ray looked like he was getting the best care a dog could ask for with lots of fun playing with other dogs and cuddles in the evening. Vicky understands the needs of dogs and has such a lovely nature with them. When we picked him up he seemed happy and content which gave us great reassurance that he was happy in her care. We were so grateful when Vicky was able to have our 5 month old puppy at short notice, after being let down by someone else. Scout had the best time, and we knew that she was safe and well cared for. Vicky and her husband were friendly, caring and relaxed with the dogs. We will definitely be back!
Vicky and her lovely family took such good care of our beloved Arthur while we were on holiday. When Arthur had his day trial with Vicky, he fell in love with her and was eager to get back to play with her and the other dogs. All the dogs are treated with the utmost care and respect by Vicky, who understands that no two dogs are the same or have the same needs. In picking up Arthur, we could see he had been well cared for, had been stimulated and walked a lot, and was content and happy. Vicky looked after my 11 year old staffy for three nights, was very nervous about leaving him, but when I picked him up, I shouldn't of worried the whole time, I got regular pictures of him out on walks, looked so happy! He was well taken care of, and it looked like he didn't want to come home with me, would definitely recommend Vicky to any dog owner, she treated my dog like one of her own.
Vicky was great throughout the process and took good care of our 13 year old chihuahua. She sent daily pictures and/or videos and kept us well informed. Our dog came home clearly having had a great time!
