Older woman ready for newer experiences
Melanie was a dream dog/housesitter! The Mary Poppins of zeewoi. She was fabulous with the animals and very conscientious of the house and yard. We came back to a spotless home and happy creatures! So grateful. Would be so happy to have Melanie again.

Teresa is the best of the best of zeewoi. Our dogs love her and welcome her when she comes in the house. She send pictures and videos and keeps us informed. The house had a little problem and she dealt with it easily. We give her the highest recommendation.

Amanda and her daughters took wonderful care of the dogs. Both dogs seemed happy and the house looked great when we returned home. Amanda also sent multiple updates and pictures during our weekend away which made us feel at ease.

I am a dog lover, especially labs! Dig quirkiness of cats too.
Best Housesitter ever! From the beginning, Todd was responsive, punctual, friendly, flexible, and reliable. He kept us apprised of his travel plans and arrival time. He took excellent care of the house and left it cleaner than he found it. From his messages during our trip, we felt he cared about and truly liked our pets and we knew we had left them in wonderful hands. He kept up with our active border collie and might have actually tired him out! Todd was great to work with, we’d love to have him back, and we highly recommend him to anyone who loves their home and worries about their pets. He’s awesome.

Clean and responsible, pet & plant loving young professional
Gabby and her partner were very thoughtful sitters. They took great care of Buddy and made sure he got all his walks and potty breaks. I wish they were a bit more proactive wirh updates but they did respond when I reached out. Overall I had a great experience with them.

Work From Home Dogsitter who will treat your pets like they are my own.
Katie Allen and Hadley were lovely to get to know and have sit for Jojo and Doug. Communication was easy from the beginning scheduling travel to get here and I could tell right away we were all going to enjoy ourselves for this trip. Hadley swam with and played with the dogs so much that the day we arrived home they napped all day and neither one of them attempted to bring us a ball for fetch! The home was in great condition and dogs were happily waiting for us when we arrived. Would not hesitate to have them back. 5 gold stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very reliable, communicative, wonderful sitter. Went above and beyond to take care of one of my dogs who had become quite ill. And left the house in immaculate condition. I highly recommend Andrea.

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!
honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.
I felt that my dogs were in good hands with Billy & Cherice - both pups seemed happy and well cared for when I returned from my 3-week trip. My home was also clean and tidy. This was my first experience using an unknown sitter and I felt nervous to leave my dogs for so long while traveling abroad. If they were to stay again I would request more regular photo updates, but otherwise was very happy with Billy and Cherice's pet and home care.
Prashant and India were fantastic pets sitters for us. Both were dependable and were even kind enough to allow some service people into the home to do some repairs. Our dogs were well looked after and we got daily updates on how the dogs were doing. Prashant is very knowledgeable and gave us a few strategies to combat some negative behaviors that we were seeing with the dogs. Could not recommend them more. They will be missed.
Initially, I was very nervous about finding my very first in-home pet sitter who could provide the level of care and attention our 3 beloved fur-kids required. From the moment Emily and Johnny stepped into our home, I knew they were going to be in good hands. Their gentle demeanor and genuine love for animals instantly put our dogs Gypsy & Johnny at ease. Emily and Johnny took the time to understand our pets’ unique personalities and preferences, ensuring that their every need would be met. During our absence, Emily provided us with regular updates and adorable photos. Their detailed communication gave me peace of mind, knowing that my fur babies were in the best possible hands. Upon our return, we were greeted by a happy and contented gang, who clearly had enjoyed their time with Emily and Johnny. Emily and Johnny are more than just pet sitters; they are true companions to our furry family. Their exceptional care, genuine love for animals, and unwavering dedication have earned them a permanent spot in our hearts. Without hesitation, we give Emily and Johnny a 5-star rating and highly recommend their services to anyone seeking trustworthy and loving caregivers for their beloved pets. THANK YOU Emily and Johnny!!! <3
Ramona and Brandon were the perfect sitters! They rescued me and were very accommodating with my needs. Ramona's communication with me was A1. We spoke multiple times before she arrived and throughout the sit. She was good at keeping me updated and I was very grateful for that, being so far away. The pets gravitated toward them from the moment they arrived and you could see that all she and Brandon wanted to do was spoil the pets with lots of cuddles. My female pup was in heat and they handled that very well and were able to keep her and my male dog separated. I could only imagine how exhausting that may have been but they didn't complain one bit. Ramona and Brandon had to hand over the sit to another sitter and were kind enough to write out the details and everything they observed to make the transition a seamless one. I must say, it helped tremendously. I'd have them back in a heartbeat to sit for me as they showed that I could trust them, not only to take care of my pets but to respect my home they way they would their own. Thanks again for making my trip away worth it!
Angela and Joe are wonderful house and pet sitters sitters in every way. They have a great loving way with animals and my shy dog warmed up to them right away. They are warm, organized, confident, and thorough. They communicated very well and gave me frequent updates and sweet photos of my dog Chica. They also took excellent care of my home. My only regret was that I didn't get to spend more time with them, because they're such lovely and interesting people. I give Angela and Joe my highest recommendation and feel that anyone would be very lucky to have them their sitters! I hope that they return to sit here again.
David was an outstanding house/pet sitter for our active pup Tosha, older kitty Rascal, and 4 chickens. Rascal came home with a deep, gaping wound the day before we left for 11 days, and David was very responsible in monitoring the healing process with photos and texts to us. He exercised Tosha in the neighborhood and local parks, and obviously enjoyed her company. Our house was spotless and extremely neat when we got home, which is always welcoming after a long trip. We are very grateful for the excellent care David gave to our precious pets and home.
Jerry and Suzanne were absolutely ideal sitters for our home and pets. We spoke with them ahead of their visit and could tell that they are genuine pet and travel lovers. Over their stay we got to see even more that they are wonderfully friendly, kind, and responsible - plus they kept us laughing with their updates and descriptions of our pets' antics while we were away. Our pets and plants were well loved and our house was spotless upon our return home, and they were even kind enough to leave a few goodies in the fridge. Our dog in particular seemed to miss them and their long walks around the neighborhood. Thank you Jerry and Suzanne! We wish you well in your travels!

As we are moving and it's our pups last day, we have to give happy tails the raving review they truly deserve. This place is his home away from home. I always run into employees who are possibly more excited than I am to see my own dog. They take the best care of the pups here and have the best service in town. I would gladly recommend happy tails to anyone and everyone around St Louis for doggy daycare and boarding. Thank you so much to everyone at happy tails for all the love you've shown Balto over the years. We will miss this place more than you could possibly know.
Happy Tails lost my dog for almost 48 hours. I have been a loyal customer for four years and what happened to me this past weekend is ridiculous. I brought both of my dogs (yellow lab and black lab) to Happy Tails on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 5:45am for boarding. I was scheduled to pick them up on Sunday, June 30, 2024 before 1pm. On Sunday at approximately 12:45pm, I arrived at Happy Tails to pick up my dogs. I paid for the boarding and then they brought, what they believed to be, both of my dogs out. They successfully brought my yellow lab out, however, they brought me the wrong black lab... I informed Happy Tails of the mistake and was told that they would get my dog and that this happens sometimes with German Shepherds and Labradors. After waiting for about 15 minutes, a worker came up appearing to be flustered and nervous. The worker and a few other workers had a meeting behind the gated area and when she walked out to the waiting room, I was informed that my dog was no longer at Happy Tails. Long story short, I dropped my dog off on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 5:45am, Happy Tails gave my dog to someone else on Friday at 2:30pm, and the person that took my dog on Friday at 2:30pm didn’t return my dog until Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 2:15pm. In other words, Happy Tails gave my dog away for 47.5 hours. I was told Happy Tails would give me a refund, however, as of the time of this posting, that has not happened. Regardless of whether or not they give me a refund, they gave my dog away. It is important to note that the person Happy Tails gave my dog to assured Happy Tails it was his dog, and he initially refused to return him when they informed him of their mistake... I will not be bringing my dogs back.
I trust Happy Tails and my 2 large babies love going here. They are a 24/7 business not only looking out for your pets but also you. If they don't pick up on the first call, please wait and call back it due to all the amazing customers they are happy to serve that sometimes you have to call back or walk in. 5/5 recommend!
I have been using Happy Tails strictly for grooming for years. I cannot say enough about the stellar customer service. The people are what make Happy Tails so great. If you are considering using Happy Tails for any of their services, i highly recommend you do.
If only I could find a hair salon where I could be transformed like the Happy Tails groomers changed my Fergus! Perfect Welsh Terrier grooming every time. Kim is amazing! See our before and after pics.
Always take the girls here. The groomers do a good job and the people all genuinely care about your pets. Only complaint I can say about “grooming” categorically is that the costs are just getting way too high . It’s not a Happy tails specific problem, it’s a widespread problem. I hope that costs come back down soon. I recommend a hat you check this place out and see if you appreciate the people as much as I do.
I can’t say enough about how amazing this place is. My dog has gotten groomed here twice now and every single time I am beyond happy with how she comes out. CHLOE is such a sweetheart and so talented, she spoke with me about what we want and I felt so comfortable leaving my dog with her. My dog is usually shy but she came back like a new woman.
We left our dog with them perfectly healthy, he came back with a terrible limp on his back legs. Found out today he developed intervertebral disc disease and will be paralyzed the rest of his life. This develops from being dropped, or falling. We called Happy tails and their response is we’re not responsible for any injuries that happen during our care. BEWARE ABOUT LEAVING YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!!
My 8 month old puppy absolutely loves this place! We take her here 1-2 days a week, and she gets the socialization she needs. It is really nice to have someone else tire her out because she has boundless energy. They have also handled COVID safety measures very well.
Love everyone there! They have been so attentive to my puppy even tho we are not there every week!! The orientation was wonderful and my puppy loves everyone she has come in contact with! One day I left her for a little bit, been house hunting in the area and they were more than accommodating to take her for a short time. Thank you so much for the love you have shown to my big baby Daisey!!!
St. Louis Dog Butler is amazing. I travel a lot (sometimes last minute) for work, and they are always able to provide cat-sitting services. I couldn't recommend this company more. The pet-sitters are kind and communicative and the prices are reasonable as well. If you're looking for top care and affection, and true comfort that your pet will be well taken care of, you'll find it here.
St. Louis Dog Butlers are great! Very reliable and professional. I always get the cutest photos of my dogs on the walk. Our two dogs always have the best time, especially with Nathalie and Chelsea.
Saint Louis Dog Butler has been such a godsend for when I've been on call shifts and my boys have needed to be let out and walked! They have been reliable and the scheduling process is super easy. I love the pictures and updates I get about the boys from their walks.
We absolutely loved this service! Our dog was super nervous and Julia did a fantastic job of bonding with him! She took the time to coax him into trusting her and he got to the point where he was excited to go on an adventure with her! We mostly used the service for a midday walk while we were away at work, but it worked well on the days we happened to work from home as well! We never had to worry about our walker not being around, it gave us a lot of peace of mind that if Julia happened to be out of town, etc. there would be another well-qualified walker to fill in for her and our schedules wouldn't be impacted. Getting the photos and report card about the walk was really a bright spot in the middle of the day while we had to be away from our pup. So nice to know that he got out and explored every day!
We've used St. Louis Dog Butler multiple times to watch both our dogs and cats. They have always been professional and kind. I feel like our pets are safe and cared for with them. We will absolutely be using them for all of our pet care needs in the future. Would highly recommend!
Saint Louis Dog Butler has never disappointed. Very caring, safe, efficient and more than willing to cater their services to you and your loved pets. I’ve trusted them for many years and will do so always.
We have used St. Louis Dog Butler for over 8 years. Their attention to doggie details is very much appreciated. Highly recommend getting regular walks for your pups.
I've been working with this service for years: they also take care of cats, despite the name! My cat has always been well-cared for. I appreciate the daily text messages and pictures that keep me updated about her well-being.
Sherman loves his visits from Saint Louis Dog Butler staff members. They walk him for the agreed time and end each walk with lots of love and pets. Having Saint Louis Dog Butler on duty gives Sherman a break and prevents accidents.
We have used St. Louis Dog Butler for many years. Our dogs (even the one who thinks anyone he doesn’t know is going to kill him ) love the walkers. They are positive and kind.
First pic is of his grooming at the Maryville location in August.. 2nd pic is his grooming at Ofallon location a month later. As you can see, the quality of service drops dramatically. I was not aware that all of their groomers weren’t excellent.. I literally could have given him the cut the Ofallon location gave him for free if I wanted him to look like he was handled by an inexperienced groomer. It’s not even … I dropped off my very cute mini poodle and picked up a Russian hit man with a bowl cut. I’m devastated. 😭
Michelle and Renee are amazing trainers. Our baby Maisey can now be walked at the park and be around people. We are so thankful for all of the hard work from everybody. We never thought we would be able to enjoy going places with our fur baby. They customized the training our baby needed. Everybody in this location loves animals and are so wonderful. Thank you all so much. Maisey loves coming.
We are helping part of our military family out by watching their fur baby Prince for 2 years. We were told prince could not go to a groomer due to being scared of water and was asked to never come back to any groomer he visited. Kennelwood was able to take a nervous dog, give him a bath and do his nails with no muzzle and give him a great experience! He is a nervous 114lb Great Dane, Labrador retriever and Bernese mountain dog and came out happy and smelling great!
We used Kennelwood in O’Fallon, Il for our puppy Teddy and we couldn’t be happier. The staff and trainers are all so welcoming and Teddy loved going everyday. The trainers did a wonderful job of working with Teddy and showing us how to continue our work with him here at home. He has shown so much growth and we would highly recommend Kennelwood to anyone that is looking for support with obedience with their dogs/puppies.
I’ll post pics so you can see his hair is still super long just looks cleaner& combed! 1st pic is before . I called to make an appt for my husky. Told them he needed a hair cut. She said ok when you get here we will discuss the cut you want, it’s up to me. When I get to the appt the stylist I spoke with said she don’t cut huskies hair. I’m like that’s not what they told me . So she said she would trim him up. Well long story short my dog is still shedding like crazy, hair is still super long and I paid 111$ Just for a bath and a hair comb !! That is ridiculous. They didn’t trim his nails. But didn’t give me a discounted price either . Told me to bring him back for a nail trim. Which is an inconvenience for me ! He didn’t even get a scarf like the other dogs ! They are money hungry. Only thing about the service is he looked cleaned . But I could have took him elsewhere for a much much cheaper bath ! I won’t take him back unless they give me a free groom for wasting my time and money !
Elizabeth was able to tame my tornado doodle into a sweet and obedient dog. She also explained things well to me, so I feel confident moving forward with training at home. As a year old pup, she even responds to commands from my three-year-old, and he is able to easily take her for a walk. Nothing short of amazing!
I will always recommend Kennelwood for grooming, boarding, and training services. They are THE BEST! Friendly staff and you and your pets always get great care! They squeezed my two dogs in for a grooming appointment when I accidentally scheduled at a different location. I trust them with my fur babies 100%!
My puppy Charlie stayed for 5 days and went to the day camp every day. We got picture updates of her playing each day and I know she had an awesome time because she was tired when we picked her up. Kennelwood was diligent about getting all the necessary info about my pups medication at drop off and then called to notify me she wasn’t eating much dinner (which is normal for her) and checked to see if they could add some enrichment food to encourage her to eat. They took great care of her and made for a worry free experience for the both of us. Would definitely board her here again.
I loved my Kennelwood experience. My pup came with very little training and just in 3 weeks left with knowing everything I asked the trainer to work on. My baby left with being able to sit, climb, come and heel. I would get photo updates daily along with sessions with the trainer. It was a great experience - I also loved the drop off times and pick up. The team really works with you.
We decided to take our Luca to Kennelwood on a recommendation from a coworker and we were amazed with the progress our boy made! Raegan was so full of knowledge and a huge help with training us as his humans and answering all of our never ending questions. Luca got to the point where he would ‘ask’ us to go to school on the weekends when it’s closed. Thank you all of the staff who gave our boy so much love during the week, even though his 6 week program is over he will be back! 🙂
I don’t think I could ever express how great Denise and her staff were to my two little jerk babies Cooper and Kirby. I have two Maltese, Copper who is 3 1/2 and Kirby who just turned 2. They aren’t the friendliest of puppies due to them being very sheltered. They bark a lot and are very annoying, but God I love it all🥰Going on my family cruise this past January 2024 for 8 days, I was left with a dilemma. My mom is the only one besides my husband and myself that can deal with the puppies, or who they will let deal with them and she was going on the family cruise also. My vet was set to board them but it was just always an issue up until the month before when she cancelled all together due to a surgery. I was in a panic and started googling professionals to come to my home and care for my puppies while gone. I came across Denise and her company. She was very professional, communicated up until our meet and greet. And did I mention very reasonable. But yet I was still scared because my dogs aren't “dog people”. The meet and greet went well with Denise and one of her staff members Jill. Cooper was being his usual ham self while Kirby was a little standoffish. I was worried but, what was I to do. I had to trust them and they made me feel as though I could trust them. The first visit when I got and update and pictures my heart immediately was at ease. And as the days went on and the videos and updates came, I knew I had made the best decision ever. My jerk babies were so taken care of and loved on by Denise, Jill and Michelle. I could never thank them enough for treating my babies so good and making me feel so great about the decision I made to hire her. And did I mention they came out in an ice storm. You don’t no more dedicated than that. Thank You Denise, Jill and Michelle Cooper and Kirby Miss You❤️ (Below are some of the pictures I received from the staff while gone)
Denise and her crew gave beyond exceptional care to our pets and we couldn’t be happier with the care they got! It feels good to leave on a vacation and know they were well cared for . I highly recommend them!
Denise and her team are nothing short of amazing! She and her lovely staff have taken such exceptional care of our two dogs numerous times while we’ve been out of town. Bark’n Good Time is an absolute gem in north county. Our dogs have a blast while Denise and her team are in charge, and we get detailed and timely updates and lots of great photos. Denise approaches every dog individually and is incredibly accommodating and reassuring in meeting every pup’s individual needs. We love BGT and highly, highly recommend their services!
Denise was wonderful in caring for my dog plus my friends 3 dogs and cat while we were away on vacation. She was punctual, friendly, professional, took the time to get to know each of them, and our fur babies seemed to really like her. I really appreciated how she without fail managed to send a bunch of photos of our babies at every check-in and give us a nice rundown of how they were behaving. My own dog Brix is pretty anxious in general and especially around new people but Denise was wonderful with him. She was so patient with him. You always have a fear when someone else watches your dog for you, hoping that they’re kind and will treat them as they would their own. I would definitely use Denise’s services again in caring for Brix because of that.
I love Bark N Good Time, they have been taking care of my babies for several years, whenever we are out of town. They seem to love my babies more than our family does, and we love them more than from here to eternity. My babies love the care that they receive from all Denise’s employees. We receive an update at every visit while we are away, with pictures of our pets taken and shared with us three times a day until we return home. I don’t have to ever worry if they are ok because I know they are well taken care of. Thanks to the whole crew for all you do!!
Denise and Shelby took great care of our precious TJ. Our kitty is a shy and quiet type with others and we were worried that our little kitty wouldn't open up to strangers while we were out of town. Turns out we were dead wrong, Denise and Shelby came by a couple days before our trip to see TJ and get to know him by giving him a few of his favorite treats. After that we were all worried during the trip how our boy would be. When we got the updates with pictures all our concerns went out the window! TJ was so friendly and talkative! Bark'N Good Time is one of the rare local businesses that is a treasure. We will be repeat customers and recommending them to our friends. We were so impressed with their service, they went above and beyond and even did other tasks like washed TJ's plates and checked our mail. So happy we found Denise and Shelby!
Denise has been walking my two fur babies for over 6 years. She also takes care of my geriatric cat and other critters( rats, guinea pigs, geckos, etc) when I go out of town. Being a veterinarian and a pet owner, I have very high standards. Denise and Bark N Good Time always surpass my expectations. She does a phenomenal job going above and beyond my expectations. I will never use anyone else. I recommend her to my clients and my friends.
I've been using Denise's dog walking services for several months now and she's been great! My dog Walter absolutely loves her and my other dog Ava, who rarely likes anyone because of high anxiety, has become very comfortable with her. She's very loving with the dogs and takes the cutest pics of them after their walks. I love seeing these pics and they always brighten my day!
Denise and team took fantastic care of our Buzz. They bent over backwards to accommodate us during a holiday visit to North County. Denise and her team were incredibly attentive to our dog's needs in our absence, and made sure each walker was prepared to work with Buzz (a stubborn and recalcitrant puller). I was extremely impressed by their communication and personalized care. Thanks for everything!
Bark n Good Time was recommended to me by MO MinPin Rescue, where we adopted our little chihuahua/dachshund mix, Cosette (after previously adopting our chihuahua/MinPin mix, Heidi.) Cosette had been rescued from an abusive home and was very skittish and sad at first, but had made tons of progress to now being a happy, sweet, loving dog (as is Heidi.) Heidi didn’t do well at a good kennel the last time we went out of town. They said she was crying a lot and scared. We knew Cosette was much more emotionally fragile, and didn’t want to kennel either of them because we thought it would be harmful emotionally for them. We had never used pet sitting before. However, Denise came for a meet n greet and we felt very comfortable with her and they have great safety precautions for your home when you’re out of town, including managing the alarm system. She came over several times before we went out of town to make sure both dogs were comfortable with her, which was so nice, and it really reduced their anxiety about being with a stranger. She sent us updates with pictures every day we were out of town, and both dogs looked happy and energetic. It was so nice to not have to worry that they were unhappy. Denise made sure we were back home on time in case she needed to come over to take care of them again if we got held up coming home. Both dogs were happy to see us, and both were their normal selves and didn’t have any problems after being pet sit at home for 5 days. Prices are reasonable, and the care is excellent. We give them the highest recommendation. I’m sure everyone will be satisfied, especially if they have a pet who can be nervous/stressed because of an abusive background. Thanks so much, Denise!!!
Judy has been our pet sitter since July 2016. We moved back to this area and I was very cautious about finding a pet sitter to watch over my 3 beagles. We interviewed Judy and my dogs took to her immediately. We did a couple of trial visits before signing on with her full time. I cannot say enough positive things about Judy and her staff. I would recommend her without hesitation. One of the things I love most is not worrying about my dogs being by themselves overnight as she provides this service. As you can tell by the photos I've attached, they love her!!!
I have been using Judy's service for over a year now. She has been a God send for me & my fur babies. She cares for both my dogs & cats. I have two senior dogs & cats (one dog has special medical needs) that makes boarding them out almost impossible. In steps Judy with her at home care! So far I have taken numerous extended trips where Judy pet & house sits for me. Great job each time! She takes excellent care of my furbabies; daily care to include meds, clean up, indoor/outdoor play, and making them feel safe & secure while I am away. For those times I need a simple pet care visit when I am away for extended hours, a quick call to Judy to stop in puts my mind at ease! Highly recommend!
Judy and her staff are amazing! They met with me before and set up a great plan of action to care for my puppy. Both she and Savannah have watched my dog and I couldn't be happier with the service I get from them both. I have no worries at all when they are caring from my pets.
If you're like my husband and I your animals are your kids. Judy is incredible when it comes to taking care of our fur babies!! It's so nice to have piece of mind knowing they are being cared for in their own home instead of some boarding place when you really don't know how they are being treated behind closed doors. She is truly a blessing!! We highly recommend her services!!
I want to give a shout out to Judy for making my 3 little doggies happy! Her pet sitting service is outstanding! She even comes to my house while I'm out of town and stays there with the dogs. She is trustworthy and friendly. I call her my own "dog whisperer."
Sandy stayed with our cat and dog for 5 days over Thanksgiving. Our dog is a recent rescue and is timid and easily frightened, but she went above and beyond to make sure that they were well taken care of and to send us regular updates. Our only concern was whether our pets would even be happy to see us given how much love she gave them!
I would never leave my dogs with anyone else! Judy stays at my house and is extremely loving and caring with my dogs. If you have a doggie who is a bit difficult she is the dog whisperer! I highly recommend her services!
Judy's Hands for Helping are very thorough about getting to know their clients. They are very trustworthy, caring, helpful, and give peace of mind about our fur babies and home when we are out of town. Definitely give them a shot, you will be happy.
Since my work situation changed, I was no longer able to stay home with my dogs as often as I did; so, we went through our options and decided to try out Canine to 5. We are SO GLAD we did. Our designated petsitter is Sandy and she is awesome. She goes above and beyond, and really cares about our dogs. She makes sure to send us pictures of the dogs and leaves us notes about their time together. We know that our dogs are in good hands and we never have to worry on the days she comes by. If you can, ask for Sandy!!!
Judy is amazing! I have used her for pet sitting services, personal errands, and elder care for my grandmother. She handles her clients with the upmost professionalism and care. Very dependable and trustworthy.
The fact that daycares like this still exist is mind-boggling to me. The people that run this have absolutely zero training on dogs and animal behavior or any schooling and just like so many people that open doggy daycares simply opened it because they “love dogs” not because they had any prior education or training on dogs or animals in general. I understand that doesn’t take away from your love of dogs, but it definitely does apply when you are working with this many on a daily basis these peoples animals lives at hands that you put at risk every single day so that way you can earn some money and so you can prove to the world what a hero you are. Well, how do you feel now that you’ve been endangering so many dogs lives and attempted to blame your staff for it instead of taking responsibility? I hope these owners know who they are and if they don’t, I hope one day they wake up and realize that they shouldn’t have never attempted to own a dog business. Just to give you a prime example of what these people do on a daily that absolutely goes against what a CCAPT certified trainer would do to correct their dogs for bad behavior they basically just scream at them until they submit into doing whatever they want them to do, if it’s a dog very first day at daycare and they seem terrified they’ll just simply force them into the group instead of letting them take their time. Again, you are putting dogs lives at risk, realize that. If this says anything as to how legitimate this review is, it’s been a few years since I’ve been but every single day i think about this place especially now that I am a CPDT certified trainer and what the animals are enduring and how this place needs to be closed
We love Club Paws! They are the boarding/doggie daycare affiliate of Hope Animal Rescues, where we adopted all of our sweet babies after they rescued them. They are truly wonderful people with a heart for animals.
My dogs and I love Club Paws! Every Friday morning before work, I pull out the harnesses and the beagles race me to the back door because they know it's daycare day! They have so much fun and usually sleep for at least 12 hours that night. The facility is a dream for the playful and shy pups. The amazing staff treat you and your pet like family. Can't say enough good things about this place!
I called to see what time I could bring my dog for her first day. I needed to be on the road to STL by 7:30. I was told they don’t start taking dogs until then so she couldn’t go. The next time I tried to take my dog for her first day, I brought the shot records but because were digital and not printed , I was told she couldn’t attend. I then asked if she could print them with the printer right next to her, and she said no. Now because we were turned away, my dog has lost her spot for daycare because she missed the days needed to keep her spot. What a joke. Retire if you don’t like your busuness anymore. .i would have given zero stars if I could.
Our dog Luna LOVES going to doggie daycare once a week to burn off some energy and socialize. We have complete confidence in the staff at Club Paws-they treat your dogs like their own and take care of them. We have also used Club Paws for boarding several times and it is such a peace of mind knowing that our dog is somewhere where she is safe, loved, and has fun while we are out of town. This is a fantastic business in our community!!!
Took my 4 dogs for daycare prior to boarding for a week. Loved it. Then dropped them off to be boarded and felt very rushed. Seemed to be an inconvenience for the employees that day to decide where to put them. Then, after a week of being boarded I pick them up and 2 of them are sick sick sick. Diarrhea so bad they can’t even make it to the door. Waking us up crying at night because they are in so much discomfort. I do know diarrhea can be normal because of a dog being stressed however my husband I asked specifically if there were any issues with any of them when we picked them up and was told no they were fine. There is no way that they didn’t have belly issues while there. I’ve left a message for them and waiting to hear back. My biggest fear of kenneling has came true. Unfortunately my babies won’t be back. Update- I did receive a nice voicemail from Jackie in regards to my dogs. I’m not necessarily placing blame just really feel that boarding my dogs isn’t an option for me. I know many people who love the place that is why I chose them. It was the first and last time I will leave my fur babies.
There is no where else I would take my dogs! I used several other facilities until I found Club Paws. They were extremely patient with my diva girl when she first started going and introduced her to dogs on her own terms because she had been an only dog prior for years and was not sure about interacting with other dogs. My 65 pound dog tries to jump in my lap as we approach daycare because she is so excited to get there. My newest addition, and Club Paws member, starts to whine in excitement as soon as we pull in and she sees Lisa because she knows she is going to get to play and wear herself out, lol. They treat my dogs how I want them to be treated when I cannot be there myself! I honestly think my dogs may like them more then me!
I have used the boarding facilities many times and the daycare quite a long time ago . My dogs love going there. They love being with all the other dogs that come for daycare The daycare is included if you board your dog.
My dogs absolutely love going to vacation at Club Paws! Our boy is an odd guy who’s always very wary of strangers, but as soon as we make that certain turn, he knows exactly where he’s going, and he gets so excited. They are the only ones who can bath him and clip his nails. And as a bonus, after we pick them up they are ready for a nap, which is very helpful when you come home from a trip and have unpacking to do. I wish they could go to day care, as I know it would benefit them both, but my work hours do not line up. We love the Club!
Excellent care of your dog at a reasonable price. There is a reason the services offered at Club Paws Inc is booked in advance. That reason is Club Paws genuinely cares for your dog and it shows. Doggie Day Care fills quickly each day and dog boarding is filled many weeks in advance. You can trust the staff with your dog.
This is my first time leaving my pet for 1 week and he was anxious and picky. Kennelwood staff was attentive, calm and reassuring. They kept me updated through calls, text and even sent pictures. I appreciate how loving and kind they were towards Jax. I will definitely 100% use their services again.Thank you Kennelwood Pet Resort!
Worked there for a few weeks before being fired. The corporate speak and cliquey behavior quickly showed me it was just another Banfield. Bad pay, bad communication, and lackadaisical approach to caring for people's pets because at the end of the day they care more about money. The manager's sister is rude to many employees, especially in the salon, and the grooming stylists are afraid to say anything because they don't want to get in trouble with the manager. The manager's sister also bangs on kennels of dogs that annoy her too much with their barking, and so does at least one of their dog trainers. Hitting/banging on a kennel door of a scared or reactive dog is not an appropriate way to kennel train an animal. The salon area is unkempt and dirty, and in bad need of an overhaul. One grooming tech told me about how they were the only person actually doing their part of the cleaning checklist, despite all full timers having a set day to clean. The stylists also told me about how the bathing area had mold growing on the walls/beneath the tubs and the managers/corporate didn't care to replace it for many months despite complaints. Good riddance
We’ve tried too many groomers to count, and there is truly no comparison. We live in Cottleville and go way out of our way to take our Newfoundland and Great Pyrenees to Kennelwood on Mason Lane (in Manchester) because it’s worth it 100 times over. No other groomer seems to even know how to properly groom these giant breeds, but Kennelwood knocks it out of the park every time. And our dogs don’t act scared walking in, like they do at other groomers’. Just excellent all around.
Kennelwood did an excellent job accommodating for our blind & diabetic senior dog, and they clearly made her feel comfortable and loved there. I was super impressed by their willingness to take on her insulin shots as well as specific feeding needs. Kennelwood for the win as Bella’s new favorite home away from home!
Great service. My dogs love going here. I also take them for training. Greg is an amazing trainer. Highly recommend him for training. He is great with your dog and yourself. He makes a point to help understand what is going on with your dog and how you impact your dog behavior.
Kennelwood’s staff is awesome. They worked with my dog and myself so professionally and with so much empathy. They not only have great training services but their grooming is phenomenal as well. Jo is an amazing trainer and the front staff can’t be beat. Kennelwood is definitely the one stop shop for your fur babies and the entire family! Thank you for ALL of your help. It is greatly appreciated. Shannon & SeaBreeze Simpson
Maggie does train and play at Kirkwood location, this was her first time boarding . We were welcomed just as we are every day and this made her feel very welcome and freely went back for boarding. She is exhausted now that she is home after a fun weekend stay! I loved her report we were given knowing she had no problems and ate all of her meals! ThNk you for taking care of our Maggie Mae!
After moving to St. Louis, I struggled to find someone willing to groom cats. This is understandable because my cat is 15 and an absolute nightmare at the groomer. I’ve had places call me, mid groom, and ask me to come pick her up. She is a Persian though, and, due to her age, is unable to keep up with grooming herself. Even with daily brushing, she still needs a little help from a groomer. Kennelwood suggested a scissor cut instead of using a razor, and did the cutest cut on her. She wasn’t terrified, and behaved much better! They also do a wonderful job grooming my Shij-Tzu and lab/retriever! I definitely recommend for your pet’s grooming needs! Just be sure to call in advance, they book up quickly.
Kennelwood on Mason Is absolutely wonderful. They are kind, caring, loving employees who provide the very best care for your pets while you’re away. I can highly recommend them for any of your pet needs as they will provide the very best care for your pet the employees there are all a tremendous asset to the company And should be recognized for providing such wonderful services
Very organized, kind people, and fantastic grooming. I am disappointed that they charged me $24 for hypoallergenic shampoo for two small dogs. I buy it myself and it’s not expensive, and what did they use? 6 tablespoons? They would’ve used 6 tablespoons of some kind of shampoo, and the price difference couldn’t be more than a dollar for both dogs. So I think it’s best to check prices carefully for every single service.
Let me tell you about the Best Kennel Ever! Kevin and Ellen are really sweet and caring people. They can't replace you to your pet, but let me tell ya, they are the best. Clean, cool, or heat when needed, just a relief of the mind that they are truly being cared for. Communication, via text, or Ellen will Always take your call. We left 3 small dogs with them for 12 days, that had never been away from us, and they did great. She even told me that they were gonna miss kids! Lol I will definitely be sending my babies there again!!
Clean, convenient, and kind. They did a great job taking care of our dogs for a long holiday weekend. First time using them and we will again when we go out of town.
I cannot speak highly enough about the outstanding care and service provided by the exceptional family-owned dog kennel where we have been keeping our furry friend, Palmer. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism that immediately put us at ease about leaving our beloved pet in their care. The staff at the kennel truly go above and beyond to ensure that every dog under their watch receives the utmost attention, love, and comfort. Palmer has been taken care of many times by this wonderful team, and each time, he comes back happy, healthy, and well-loved. The family atmosphere at the kennel made us feel like Palmer was staying with relatives who genuinely cared for him. I wholeheartedly recommend this family-owned dog kennel to anyone looking for a safe, welcoming, and loving environment for their furry family members. We are so grateful for the exceptional care and attention that Palmer has received during his stays, and we will definitely be returning to this fantastic establishment in the future. Thank you for taking such great care of our Palmer!
A fair price for boarding! They treat the dogs well, but it isn't a doggie daycare where there might be a lot of one on one scenarios, so if that is your wish, you might want to see if they offer something like that or have a local recommendation. My family has used them for their dogs (labs and lab mixes) while on vacation many times and have always been happy.
My boys were extremely well taken care of and the owners were very attentive to them! I called every couple days as they are my kids and I worry and she reassured me every time how good they were doing. They are very happy to be home but it's a godsend knowing we have such a wonderful place we can trust to leave them with. Extremely reasonable under $400 for 9 days for our 100+ lbs boys.
They are phenomenal! Used them for nearly a month to board my brother’s dog and cat while he found a new place. Prices are great, owners are friendly, and they even gave updates on how each was doing. Highly recommended and would use in the future if needed. ❤️
My very spoiled small doggy has been there twice this year. I am definitely a helicopter mom (very protective and tend to hover over her a lot). The owners said I could call and check on her as much as I felt needed. Each time I called they answered and gave me step by step details of what she was doing. When she didn’t eat, they worked with getting her to eat. They spoiled her and gave her the attention she needed to feel safe. I have had four dogs in my lifetime and have never felt as safe as I have with Estes Boarding. They are a wonderful family owned business and would very highly recommend their business to everyone! We love going to Estes!
These guys are the best!!! Always treat my dog like family!!!!
I've had my dog stay at the Estes Kennels several times when going on vacations, and I feel like she is taken care of well there each time. The owner is kind and the prices are reasonable.
Very accommodating. One time we didn't realize what time they closed on Sat. and we were going on vacation. They closed an hour before we contacted them and the owner met us after hours to get our dog in. He probably wouldn't want that to get out but it was an amazing how he went above and beyond for us. Plus he is very friendly.
