Professional, responsible and animal loving couple!
Shaine and James are amazing People very kind and pleasant to be with. Shaine sends photos everyday and updates of the schnauzers which is very comforting. They both tell us how much they love being at Sendrone and how appreciative they are and us of them that we asked they to stay on for 2 more moths and they happily accepte. We would definitely have them back to sit in the future and I would highly recommend as sitters and anyone that has them as sitters is very fortunate ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am a pet lover who enjoys travel!
Christine was a joy to have as a sitter. She took such good care of our pets including taking the dogs to the park! She left the house spick and span and even took the effort to help with my dog’s cancer symptoms which she was never even asked to do. We would absolutely host her again.

Cindy and Aaron were the perfect sitters. They were attentive, diligent, and took really good care of the animals and our home. We would readily recommend them to any other sitters and would gladly have them back to sit for us again. One of our cats, Ophelia, usually avoids strangers and can take a long time to warm up to new people. Lo and behold, on the first encounter with Cindy and Aaron, our usually fretful Ophelia was happily purring while Cindy petted her! Incredible! The house was left clean and tidy, and Cindy and Aaron went the extra mile for us by mowing our (large) lawn and tidying up our daughter's garden toys! They had stocked some groceries for our return and the bed linen and towels were laundered. Again, the perfect sitters! Thank you Cindy and Aaron.

Warm and friendly family in search of animals to love in interesting places!
Steven, Natalie and their two lovely little girls did a wonderful job of taking care of our home and array of animals. They were excellent at keeping in touch and we felt very comfortable leaving everyone in their capable hands. We came home to an immaculate house and very happy animal family. Thank you Steven and Natalie we are very grateful for all your effort and care.

Eliza sat for us for an entire week and took great care of our two cats. She is a great communicator (very important!), clean, and obviously enjoyed spending time with the kitties. We would recommend her and invite her into our home again.

Ann was great with our dogs. They have lots of supplements and medications, which can be a lot, but Ann did a great job following the instructions. We came home to happy and healthy dogs and the house was spotless!!

Friends and loved ones are the keys a full life.
John came to stay in my tree house and care for my senior dog Dublin. He was a lifesaver. He took amazing care of my beloved companion. He took loving care of my home. And I returned to a beautiful poem about his visit and the beauty of where I live. You can get any better. John is absolutely the best.

Abi and David were FABULOUS pet sitters during our 5-day trip. They were devoted and fun dog walkers, park-goers and ball throwers. They communicated well and sent pictures. And when we got home, the house looked great, and the dogs looked calm. We would gladly have them. Sit for us again and highly recommend them.
Natalie and Christian were dream pet sitters while we were out of the country for 2.5 weeks. From start to finish, they were reliable and professional, with excellent communication. They had took great care of our dog and chickens and left the house and car in great shape. Plus, they’re just a really sweet young couple. We’d highly recommend them as house sitters.
Kelly was flawless, she was a fantastic pet sitter and house sitter. She was over communicating with pictures and updates. We were at total peace knowing Kelly was overseeing Leo and Bella. Kelly connected with our dogs perfectly. We loved how Kelly daily took our dogs for walks and even an extended hikes. She has our full and complete recommendation.
We were lucky to have Andrea back for another sit with our elderly dog and feral cat. She has been wonderful both in the past and on this last sit for a month! We trust her implicitly and are always at ease that our pets will have the most kind and careful attention. She is excellent with videos and communication and very clean and tidy. Again we feel lucky to have found her, and feel she would be a great sitter for any pets!
Lindsay and Bryce provided excellent care to our two cats while we were gone. They are great communicators, took amazing care of our apartment and send regular updates and photos so that we knew all was going well. We would absolutely recommend them as responsible and thoughtful pet sitters who can be entrusted with the care of your home and pets.
Bryan and Dana were the perfect sitters for Cella. We were delighted that they were able to arrive a day early so that we could enjoy dinner with them and get to know one another. We would be honored to have them sit again. On top of their great care they left us a thoughtful friendship gift. zeewoi continues to be the best site ever. Not only do we have great pet sitters for Cella, we also have the opportunity to meet great new friends. Thank you!!
Laura is incredible! For starters, she is a clear and considerate communicator who is reliable and trustworthy while setting up details for a sit in advance. From there... where do we start?! Laura (and her sister Stephanie, for a few days) took care of our cat & dog for a week-long sit. We were immediately at ease with both of them, and it was clear that they were excited to meet our pets and love them, and relaxed and comfortable in this role. They asked informed and curious questions about our pets, routines, and the surrounding area to set up a successful sit. When we departed, our dog hardly seemed to notice, because she was getting to know her new people! The snuggle-fest and hiking adventures that took place while we were gone resulted in happy pets who were calm and content. We received daily photos, which were heart warming, and assured us that dog hugs and cat exercise were taking place. Our dog is very affectionate, and Laura made sure that she received plenty of love while we were gone. Upon return, our home was spotless - tidy and clean (possibly cleaner than when we left, and we tried really hard!) We are games people, and Laura left us some of her favorite games to play (yay), and gifts for our pets, which were so fun to open when we got home. Everything was so thoughtful and kind. Laura is absolutely one of the top sitters we've ever had, and we are so grateful for her care. She went above and beyond basic home/pet care, and her compassion shines through in all of her communications and actions. She (and Stephanie) are welcome anytime, and we (Zora and Morris especially) hope they will come stay again!
Deboraj took great care of the apartment and of our goofy unsociable cat. She went out of her way to bring catnip and make friends with Rowan. She communicated often and cared to be as good a house and pet sitter as could be. I can gladly recommend her highly to anyone else looking. Thank you Deborah.
Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.
Heath spent a long weekend at my home taking great care of both dogs and the cat. He was able to help out on rather short notice, and I felt very comfortable leaving my pets in his care. Heath is friendly and reliable and left my home neat and tidy. I would definitely recommend him as a house/pet sitter for future assignments!

This place makes you and your pup feel like family. They are always excited to see my dog and my dog is wiggling with excitement to spend time here. They go the extra mile every time to make sure my experience is wonderful. So grateful for Country Club Pet Resort.
Our dog received a deep bite while playing at the Country Club Pet Resort. Since there was little supervision, no one can say which dog bite him. Pet Resort is taking no responsibility. Plus blaming him isn’t cool. We are out almost $400 with tranquilizers. Our dog is in a cone for 7-10 days. He can’t go swimming or bike/hike/running for 10 days. This is a real impact for our pup and us. We will never bring our dog back. Recommendation: 0%👎👎👎👎
I've been using doggy daycare and boarding for about 3 years when I got my little 8 week pandemic pooch Abeo. I needed help to get him socialized since COVID was confusing and I was disabled already. Everyone loved on my baby Abeo and helped me raise him. Then I brought his senior brother and sister Neiko and Nandi there and my pack was loved on each time they were there. This is hands down, the best doggie daycare and boarding place I have ever used. It's doggie heaven. Colin runs a top shop and although I have to move out of state, the new doggie daycare and boarding has a high bar to clear. I recommend Country Club Pet Resort with no hesitation. Everyone there loves dogs and it shows. Thank you all for loving my fur babies as much as I do.
This place is incredibly professional. They took great care of our two small dogs and accommodated our requests (I asked that they not be in the same play area as big dogs). They were on top of sending is pictures and updates throughout the day - this gave us so much peace of mind. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for daycare. We took advantage of the time in order to go hiking in Moab and were able to come back in time for pick-up. Thanks again!
We appreciate Animal Nanny and all the services they offer! They offer dog grooming and also can treat your pup to a desert hike in order to break up his day. My dog had a great time romping on the hike and the staff provided me with photos of his fun, too. We trust them and that says a lot.
I have only one thing to say about Country Club Pet Resort. This was our first time putting our pups in doggy daycare and all I can say is wow!!! They came away from this day so exhausted, so wet, so happy, which resulted in us being ecstatic. I would recommend them to anybody. Thank you so much and thank you for the photos of their memories.
The worst mistake I have made all month is letting my dog stay here over the weekend. Staff was rude ( Erin ) and seemed to not be present when I went to drop off. That should have been the red flag, but after my dog came back dehydrated and dirty. I will never be back
Lila stayed overnight at the Animal Nanny for a long weekend. When she got home, she was pooped! She had so many friends to play with and exciting things to do there! I don't like to leave her, but when I need to, I love leaving her with Colin!
We went for a required meet and greet day (many places have this for free prior to vacation boarding, few hours, but we had to pay/do all day). Was initially told everything went well. After owner learned we were few weeks away from trip, she recommended we do day care weekly. After we asked about why, since there wasn't an issue mentioned, we were promptly told it would now be a requirement. As others mentioned, the app must be used for confirmation of everything. We canceled the boarding after this face to face experience, got an email confirmation, but not on the app. It was still scheduled on the app. We followed up citing that we saw there were past issues, and they deleted our account. Summary? If they can't milk you for money, they don't want your business. Probably ok if you want a cheap mass boarder for daily drop off (where you're constantly feeding them money), otherwise they'll nag you with fees and add ons.
I would think again before using this facility! We brought our Fox Terrier in for boarding April 12-15 pick up on Monday the 15th - Received a phone call on the 13th that Tucker had a cut on his left ear. Wanted to know if we wanted him to be seen by a vet, that they did apply pressure and got it to quit bleeding - Well of course, the ear is one of the worst cuts for a dog to get to quit bleeding, he could shake his head and it could start bleeding again. When we got there to pick him up, the girl didn’t even say anything about his ear so I asked, did you figure out how he got hurt? She said no, we still need to review the cameras. We still have yet to get a phone call from them. Tucker ended up having to get stitches on the top of his ear, it was a horrible experience for him! Of course it was the weekend, so he had to go to the ER Vet, the kennel charged us for transporting him there and back, the lady told me it would be 12$ - It was 30$ on the bill, plus charged us for them to give him the medication from the vet. Kennel - 174.00 ER Vet - 440.33
In June of this year, I set out on an internet search for someone who could transport my aging dog, Tashi, back and forth to her weekly veterinary rehab appointments. After a painstaking effort, I chose Debra from Always Loving Pet Care. Each review of Debra was full of sincerity, of earnest appreciation for the way she cared for people’s critters and how she ran her business. From the very first interaction with Debra, I knew that I had found the right person. She came over for a meet and greet and was both kind to and interested in Tashi. Debra also already had a ramp to help Tashi get into and out of her car, which confirmed for me that she was sensitive to the needs of older pets.. She has been reliable, professional, communicative, warm and caring. She always kept me updated with texts and pictures, letting me know when she left her home to go get Tashi at ours, when she picked her up, when she arrived at the vet’s office, when she dropped her back off at home. I could tell by Tashi’s expressions and body language in the pictures that she felt completely at ease and cared for when she was with Debra. This fact, combined with the way Debra runs her business is why we chose her to pet sit when we went on vacation. If she had not been available, I would have stayed home with my aging pup and her little brother. It went great, of course! Debra’s communication about the dog's status was spot on, and not something you get with a boarding facility. It is hard to find words to describe how wonderful it felt to know that our dogs were at home in the environment they know (especially with Tashi nearly blind), with one person giving them personalized attention instead of being ignored in a dog run. Heartbreakingly, we had to say goodbye to our Tashi shortly after we returned from vacation. I texted Debra to tell her that Tashi’s osteosarcoma had caused her humerus to fracture completely in half and we were at the vet’s office preparing for her journey across the Rainbow Bridge. I was sitting in the exam room alone, waiting for my partner, his child and our other dog, Ravi to arrive when I heard a knock on the door. It opened, and it was Debra, who hugged me and sat with me and cried. Tashi got to feel how much she mattered to Debra just moments before she transitioned and our family knew that we weren’t just people who gave Debra money to do a job. Tashi liked Debra so much that she tried to get up on her broken arm bone with no regard for pain when she saw her (of course, we settled her down). Debra is a regular part of our lives now—three mornings a week she comes to take our Ravi for walks and is our pet sitter. We didn’t want Ravi to feel so alone after losing his sister, who he had never spent one single night without until she passed way. We are relieved that we don’t have to put him in a kennel. One day we came home to a lovely framed picture of our Tashi and a card on our kitchen counter, and the picture is now on display in our home. The text message updates from Debra about Ravi always accentuate just how tuned into animals she is. As I described above, she is never just going through the motions to get paid—she truly pays attention to the personality and needs of the animals in her care and nothing ever feels transactional. If you want the luxury of being able to fully relax and enjoy yourself when your pets are in the care of someone else, you have found your pet care professional in Debra. You’ll be grateful you found her and so will the precious family members you call pets.
All of the employees here are absolutely amazing! My dogs love them all! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone I know. The communication is great and I love all the pictures I get of my dogs, definitely makes my day when I am at work!
Debby is an awesome person and pups sitter. She goes the extra mile in taking pictures of your pups or any fur babies. She releases the stress about going somewhere and leaving your furbabies at home. Thank you again Debby
Debra has been absolutely excellent, reliable and gone beyond her duties in caring for our two cats since June of 2016. She loves the animals, they seem to love her too. She is trust able, diligent and works very hard to deliver good care to my cats and other animals she takes care of. She has helped us out many times with different issues with our animals while we were traveling. She also collects mail, waters plants or does whatever is necessary to keep your house in order. I highly recommend her.
Debra was beyond amazing and my two cats were so well cared for while my husband and I were on a 12 day trip. She was very thorough at the meet and greet and made me feel completely comfortable leaving my cats in her care. She kept me updated and even sent a couple photos :) In addition to all that her prices are more than reasonable. I highly recommend always loving pet care!
Debra has taken care of our dog and cat several times when we’ve gone out of town. She is wonderful! She is reliable, responsible and caring! I know our pets are receiving plenty of tlc while we’re away. I highly recommend Debra and Always Loving Pet Care!
Debra and her team at Always Loving Pet Care have been amazing. She takes wonderful care of my pets. She's trustworthy and thorough, and if I forget to notify her personally of my return, she checks in to be sure my cats aren't left without a caregiver. She lets me know when she's arrived to care for them by text, and even sends pictures once and a while which is so sweet when I'm away from my fur babies. Can't recommend Always Loving Pet Care highly enough!
Debra has been walking our two big black Labs for a couple months now. She's been very reliable, hasn't missed a day. Great communication. Lets me know when she's arrived and when she's leaving. Very friendly, I would recommend to anyone!
AMAZING LADY!!! We found Debra on Google search and are soooo happy we did. She is professional, kind, considerate and loves to be with animals. She cared for my three adorable cats for a week and never missed a chance to send pictures and stories of how they were doing. I couldn't recommend her more! You will be so happy with this company!
So glad we found Always Loving Care! When we first met Debra at our meet and greet with our dog Reese I instantly felt comfortable and I knew she was going to take great care of our boy! We used her while we were away and she sent photos and text which is so great! I highly recommend her!
My dog Jack has been attending Dog Dynasty for daycare while I’m at work. He’s so happy to arrive each day, and is very content when I pick him up. He has a ton of fun with his play group and the staff. The owner Tosha and her entire staff are amazing! I know Jack is in great hands when he’s here. If you’re looking for a great place for dog daycare, dog or cat boarding, or dog grooming. I highly recommend Dog Dynasty and The Downtown Cat.
This was my second experience here. The first time was GREAT. Lady was kind and did my boy handsome. This time, was HORRENDOUS. (Fluffy Male cat) I went to get him groomed, the person who cut his hair had such a terrible attitude. The owner/manager was the only nice one. After I dropped him off I see the person who was “starting on him right away” walking outside with the grumpiest attitude and a cigarette in her hand. Maybe she had someone else cut his hair and that’s why it looks atrocious. He has nicks from where they cut him, and you can see the razor marks still. Two weeks later. Place smelled HORRIBLE. And it cost me the most this time as where it’s normally $65 this time was $85 and I tipped still. WILL NOT BE RETURNING. DRIVE YOURSELF to collbran to Milk House Dog Salon for this AMAZING woman who left my boy HANDSOME and smelling delicious and with a handkerchief. I will be doing that instead of disappointing dog dynasty.
I can’t say enough about how Tosha takes care of our little shitzu and yorkie! She goes up and beyond and is clearly as passionate about her craft as she is skilled. Our dogs are happy when I pull up to the shop. She is by far the best groomer I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend Tosha and Dog Dynasty. Everyone who works there is very friendly and efficient with their position.
I had to deal with some personal health issues and was worried about my ESA support dog. I was able to get her into the dog dynasty. They took such good care of Luna. She was hair free from them brushing her regularly and she was a very happy dog. We both have separation anxiety (lol). Thank you dog dynasty for being there for us. Would highly recommend anyone to go there if they need boarding or grooming. All the staff was fantastic and the owner is on hands side by side with her employees. Would give 10 stars if I could.
I take my 2 corgis in to get groomed and then get them half a day of daycare. I love that I can drop them off on my way to work for them to get groomed and then they can go play with the other dogs in daycare until I am off work and can pick them up. The staff is always friendly and you can tell they love their jobs and the animals. If you have corgis the groomer does a fantastic job at cutting those corgi butts into the perfect, round, bouncy shape 😁 they always come home clean and happy with cute little bandannas on to match the seasons or holidays, they got these cute little rainbow ones for pride month. I can’t recommend this place enough!
They are all so good with our anxious little puppy.. it has helped his social interaction and we love that!
1 and a half day of boarding and my poor dog was returned to me BLIND. They said they noticed it the day before but didn't call me. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! My 2 Year old dog now requires medical care FOR LIFE! THE LAST PHOTO WAS TAKEN 5 days before going to this place. My dogs eyes were completely healthy!!!!!
Best groomer in town! So kind and patient with my dogs and cat. Tosha is #1 in GJ. Wouldn’t take my guys anywhere else. Thank you for doing such a fine job always!
Daisy and Poppy LOVE to go to Dog Dynasty to play every week! We appreciate the staff at Dog Dynasty so much for taking such great care of the girls!
Happy and tired pups after a fun day of doggy daycare! These guys were very professional and accommodating. They made sure my older little guys had a safe space to sleep and lounge away from the bigger dogs. Would recommend!
The staff (especially Kai) at Ruff'n It Resort & Daycare are amazing and genuine. They took such good care of our dogs, sent updates and photos via text, and immediately put any worries to rest the first day (our dogs stayed a week). They raised the bar for any kennel we've ever used and I wish we didn't live 200 miles away. Any future visits to Gand Junction, we will definitely keep our dogs there and recommend them to others. Our dogs had so much fun and were well taken care of. Props to the on site groomer as well. Great job and they looked so cute in their fall bandanas.
Our furry family member Eva had her first day at doggy day care Monday. She is deaf & sometimes suffers from anxiety when alone all day at home. We wanted her to goto a safe place where she could play and socialize with other dogs. This place did not disappoint! She passed her scheduled temper test & was playing and making friends by that afternoon. She had a great first day, even came home with a report card and a special treat. Daycare is affordable. Hours reasonable & flexible for pick up and drop off. Staff was friendly, special thanks to Cortney for making the experience so great and taking great care of our furry family member! Making drop off comfortable for Eva & having patience letting her adjust to everything. Eva's favorite thing is to go to daycare now! HIGHLY RECOMMEND, 5 STARS!
We used Ruff’n it for vacation daycare for our two pits. They had the best day complete with water play, treats and report cards. The staff was thorough and kind, and the facilities were clean. Large and small dogs are separated and the pricing was very reasonable. They even sent me pictures mid day. We are so thankful to have found this gem for our travels!
I've been a fan of Ruff'n It Resort for such a long time! The staff is awesome, and they love your dogs. It truly shows!
We've been bringing our dog, Bruno, to Ruff'n It for over two years now, both for daycare and boarding, and we couldn't be happier. After picking Bruno up today, I thought — it's time to write a review! The staff is incredibly caring and always goes the extra mile to ensure that not only are the dogs happy, but their humans too! When Bruno was getting stressed during downtime after lunch, they worked closely with us to figure out a solution that made him more comfortable, which we really appreciate. Bruno absolutely loves it here — he gets excited the moment we turn down the street and literally pulls us to the door every time. It's obvious he has a great time because he always comes home completely exhausted from playing hard with the other dogs. The team is super communicative, even with how busy they are. They’re great about texting with updates, which gives us peace of mind. They even go out of their way to make dog parents feel special on holidays like Mother's Day and Father's Day! The price is reasonable, especially with the added perk of having a groomer on-site. We couldn’t ask for a better place for Bruno, and I highly recommend Ruff'n It to anyone looking for a daycare or boarding for their pup. Bruno is pictured in the center here (black husky/shepherd mix) playing with his other shepherd buddies!
Over the Thanksgiving holiday we kept our dogs at Ruff’n It Resort and one needed medical attention. The staff recognized he was acting different and notified us. When he needed to go to the vet they arranged and took him immediately. They also transferred him to the er vet for us so he could receive overnight care. They were amazing. Thanks to their observant and fast-acting staff our dog is doing great now. Outstanding care!
We've sheltered our pup here several times, and he's come out of it none the worse for wear. The price is reasonable, and the staff is engaged. The only issue we've had is making sure to make a reservation during popular times because the place fills up.
My puppy has always enjoyed his time here! They are so caring about the dogs. My pup manny is always so excited when I just say the word “daycare”. He recently did his first ever boarding experience which I was very nervous about. The staff did amazing at comforting me, updating me, and even took the time to let me know how he did going to bed!
The first stay at this place seemed fine. It was a backup because our usual sitter was unable to watch our pup for a last minute trip. But as other reviewers stated: The owner won’t allow dog owners to see the facilities which is a little suspicious. We planned to use this place again, then that’s when the owner’s true colors came out. She said we needed new records of vaccinations for the facility—which is absolutely understandable, but told us this when we dropped our dog off. She claims to have spoke to someone about it beforehand—my husband and I did not hear this from anyone (we even did a drop off for Behavior Testing the week before and no mention of it) and instead of chalking it up to a miscommunication and allowing us to get that papers needed (at the mercy of the Vet’s time at this point) she was ABSOLUTELY rude about it. When asked why she was being so rude to us she said she was “not being rude but only being matter of fact.” She was so rude to the point my husband and I felt it necessary to make last minute changes the day before our trip and pulled our dog from that facility. We didn’t want our dog to be treated poorly while we were gone or even having to worry about that being a thing! We will absolutely NOT be going back. She was so rude about a simple miscommunication how the heck is that facility treating my dog behind those closed doors no one is allowed behind?
While visiting from out of town we had the need to drop our dog off for daycare. The team at Ruff'n It Resort was fabulous! They know what they are doing and they take the time to ensure all needs are met, for both humans and dogs with focus the dogs. Would recommend these guys to anyone.
The WagResort staff got our two large dogs reserved for a 5 day stay with a grooming even though it was really busy over the holidays. Our Airedales loved the time spent with other dogs as well as the Wag staff-the best!
The staff at the 25 Rd location is amazing! Very friendly and helpful. They clearly love what they do and that made me that much more confident in leaving my girl in their care to play and make friends. Highly recommend! Very impressed! Update: the staff at the 25 Rd location has helped exponentially with Prim's attachment anxiety. She gets excited on the mornings she goes in and is excited to greet them in the mornings, and is content when I pick her up. Even more impressed the longer I bring her here. You are all amazing!
Your staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and care for dogs so much and it shows. Muttzeeann loves her visit on every Tuesday. You can tell she has so much fun because by the time I get her home, she’s ready for a nap. Thank you so very much for taking such good care of my baby.
Wag has been absolutely amazing for my high energy gsp. He loves it so much and gets so excited when we go. Everyone who works there, especially Pam and Courtney, treat us like family. Thank you for taking such good care of my boy!
We dropped off around 400 pounds of dog - divided among our FIVE dogs (including two Danes) - and these good folks fed them, gave them treats, and let them enjoy themselves while we were away for several days. And all 400 pounds of dog came back tired, happy, and smelling better!
My dog Kodiak loves Wag! He can be a shy guy but is totally outgoing and in his element when there. He does Club Wag Daycare and has been Boarded several times. All have been positive experiences.
The staff at Wag Resort are awesome. Caleb is my groomer and has done wonders with both my dogs. Best place for grooming and the best groomer--just ask my fur babies. Thank you all at Wag Resort.
My pup Opal loves to see her friends over at Wag on 25 road. She’s been coming since she was a puppy and is always comfortable here!
I have two extremely high maintenance German Shepherds, one that Wag has been caring for since he was a puppy. My boys start howling as soon as we pull in the driveway of Wag Resort and leave me in the dust to get back to play with their friends. The care they provide is second to none.
We have been customers at Wag for a couple of years now. My dogs are always excited to go to daycare and 25 Rd has almost become a home away from home. Everyone is very friendly and the service always feels personalized (which is great for me). It is also a great social outlet for our two doodles (which is great for them). Thanks for always taking care of our fur babies!!
We reached out to Strutt Your Mutt when our lab was 2, killing our pet sitter’s chicken, almost catching a wild turkey and chasing and nipping ankles of mountain bikers. Not good. Very high prey drive and I realized we needed some help. Rio went off for a board and train and we had signed up to get another puppy from the same breeder, right about when we got Rio back home. Our COVID projects. We are now 4 years into training both dogs and it is hard, rewarding, bonding and worth every penny. The younger one, Nuka also did a board and train and was a very independent and challenging personality. Next time I get a pup or dog I’m going to take Erika or Hilary with me to help choose! They have been amazing in their training of mostly me and my husband in how to bring out the best in our dogs and in understanding our dogs. Erika and staff are very knowledgeable,, patient with our learning and always supportive. The relationship that comes with working with our dogs is golden. I am able to take them off leash hiking and call them back at any time, walks with little reactivity, and enjoy the calm in our day to day doings. They are not perfect, but neither am I. I will always have questions and our dogs will always be a work in progress, and Erika and staff are always there for support and guidance. We board them with Strutt Your Mutt often, and they come back more angelic. The staff are family to us. We highly recommend SYM to help you achieve the most rewarding bond with your dog.
When I adopted my dog, he had been fully trained by Strutt Your Mutt. So, in my case, their job was to train the owner…..and they were wonderful about it. Go with them and you’ll get a knowledgeable, friendly and patient crew in a great community atmosphere.
I would absolutely recommend Strutt Your Mutt! Hillary, our trainer, was not only incredibly knowledgable and professional, but she was also caring, patient, and understanding. She helped us to understand what our dog was thinking by being aware of her body movements and other signs. Truly invaluable! Additionally, she modified some of her "typical" training methods to better fit our dogs needs and personality. Through training with Hillary, our dog is now more confident and listens better, which makes us all happy! Thank you so very much Hillary!
We had training today with Strutt Your Mutt, Hilary Briggs. Abby was perfect and our hard work has been a success. Abby really does give up everything to me when we are training. She has taught me she knows everything and makes it super easy for me. I have learned a lot more than just walking your dog, it takes hard work and perseverance to get where you want to be with your dog and to understand your dog 🐕 Working with Abby has been super fun, she’s very reliable and follows commands exactly. It’s been such an amazing experience for me personally. I did a lot of research on dog training places, and Strutt Your Mutt was the best, according to their reviews. They did not disappoint!! I would like to give a big shout out to Matt, Erica, Hilary, and Autumn for the great work they do for all of our dogs when they are in their care. If you are having problems with your dog and you want to correct them and work on yourself as well then Strutt Your Mutt is your go to place for dog training. Unleash your dogs Full Potential with Strutt Your Mutt, Erica Hall and Hilary Briggs! Love all of you ❤️ Tammy and Abby
AMAZING! Our very head strong and stubborn Bull terrier Zeus went to Erika after a scuffle between him and another one of our dogs. Erika and her staff were able to to tap into his head and help him with his issues. Then Erika was able to teach us and train us on a new way of communicating with Zeus. We have learned so much from this experience and a weight has been lifted off our shoulders now. It was and is 100 percent worth it! Zeus and the rest of our pack can finally be happy and relaxed under the same roof!
My dog and I had an amazing experience with Strutt your Mutt. I was really the one who needed to be taught. Jax, my dog, has a much more fulfilling life after starting training. Without Erika and her team, Jax might have been ran over by car from chasing a butterfly (seriously), or worse. Plus, I’m so glad he doesn’t have debilitating anxiety and that I know how to communicate with him in order to prevent/work through anxiety.
We used them for a couple things. First Hillary (who is AMAZING) helped us retrain our 3 yo boxer with leash work and a new E collar. Now is is amazing on walks. We used Erica (who should be the real dog whisper) to help our 1 yo boxer find himself and get over some of his social fears. We have learned so much from the two of them and has made us better owners and masters of our dogs. We have learned not only how to read the dog but learn why they make some of their choices.
Erika and her team, Leah and Hillary, have helped me navigate my way through rehabbing two rescues who were leash reactive and dog aggressive. Their intuition is insane! I followed their program and I am convinced their methods are the best in town. I wouldn't trust anyone else with the mental health of my best friend. My life and my dog's life is better because we are part of the pack.
I want to leave more than 5 stars. My husband and I adopted a 2yo Australian Shepard mix that had a lot of issues. We finished the 6 month training program in June. It was worth all the work and every penny. Our dog did not sleep, ate our possessions, marked the house and herded our cats to point of them refusing to be around the dog, and had the worst dog anxiety I have ever experienced. Now we live in a peaceful home. Our dog sleeps, his dog anxiety is non-existent, and our cats think he is super fun to interact with. The training was less about the dog and infinitely more about us humans. Erika, thank you so much for training we humans to create an environment our dog can actually thrive in. Thank you for teaching us how to live with a dog and not make him exist within our emotional expectations. He is a dog, and now he can live his best life in a way that doesn't short circuit nature. If you have a dog that is struggling, no, scratch that, if you have a dog of any kind, do the world a favor and go to Strutt Your Mutt for training.
Erika Hall and her Strutt Your Mutt team, Hillary and Leah, are the best dog trainers we’ve ever worked with. When we got our new lab puppy we searched for a top quality dog trainer here in Grand Junction. Almost everyone we asked recommended Erika and her Strutt Your Mutt team. Unfortunately, Erika was in the middle of a move to her new location; so, we tried a totally treat based program here in Grand Junction. We were not impressed with the treat based system, our dog only responded if we had treats in our pockets….and, who always carries treats? We switched to Erika as soon as she had an opening for individual training. The change in our puppy was so swift, we opted for the two week board and train program. At the same time, we also had Hillary train our 8 year old lab at home with the E-Collar training. (Our older lab had some bad habits we didn’t even recognize until we saw the results with our puppy.) The results were phenomenal for both dogs. Our veterinarian even said she could always tell the dogs she saw that had been trained by Strutt Your Mutt … they are always so well behaved. The training requires working with your dogs; but, the effort is well worth it. As Erika explained to us: they work with dogs; but, they train dog owners. We are sure you won’t be disappointed with Erika Hall and her Strutt Your Mutt team.
Katlyn is amazing 🤩 I’d give her 10 stars if I could. She always works with my schedule so even if I’m late she takes my dogs in. My little boy Cesar loves her so much. I use to worry about leaving my dogs but Katlyn actually takes them out and loves on them, cuddles, and plays with him. I caught Cesar cuddling on her lap it made me feel like they have family when we are away 💜
I have taken my dogs to other places, Until I found Katelyn at Puppy Love. She is Great at what she does. I've never had a problem and when I tell my little one, she's going for a bath she gets excited, because Katelyn is more than a groomer she is a friend to my little one! Thank You for making a trip to the groomer a HAPPY ONE! Sincerely, Dominick Cordova.
Have left several messages asking for appt and never gotten a response
Thank you for taking good care of Sophie..when I drop Sophie off I know she is in good hands..
Gunnison kennels has been nothing but wonderful from the first meet and greet with my pup (Kai). Kai has improved significantly in obedience and confidence after attending the board and train. Being a nurse I work long hours 3 nights a week and it is wonderful to know that I have a safe place for kai to go and play as well as continue with his training. James has a deep love for animals and it shows! He has gone out of his way helping Kai by taking him into public places with my permission to work on his socialization and barking in public places. Daily photos with updates on how Kai is doing or the newest pup he has made friends with! Overall I can’t recommend Gunnison kennels enough to anyone that has a dog!
My wife and I can’t thank James enough. We recently sent our two big dogs for a board and train with James and his family. We had recently rescued a younger dog to pair with our 5 year old female dog. They had picked up some bad behaviors from each other. James was able to identify the issues, work with each of them separately and together to reset their bad behaviors, and show us what we were doing wrong. It was clear on the first day we brought them home from boot camp how much they had learned and improved. James was patient with us and our dogs and incredibly professional. This training will be life changing for our dogs and our family as we have a baby arriving in the next few weeks. We will certainly be using James for boarding going forward for a long time to come.
We found a great place to board our dog. Gunnison Kennel took excellent care of Bruno and sent pictures every day. Bruno had a great time playing with the other pups and the family.
Thank you James and Meg for everything you’ve done for us! Reina loves you like family and that means so much to me. Recommended for anyone, you’ll love the results and your pup will love them. My mom got to visit without being knocked into the wall today which was awesome. Reina and I will always return to them for anything we need.
Gunnison Kennels was amazing! His board and train helped us socialize and train our rescue. He sends pictures and videos updating about training. Introduced her to the treadmill as a bonus! Nothing but good things to say.
James has a love for animals that runs deep in his soul. You can feel how much he truly cares about the animals the minute you speak to him. We have two lab husky mixes that were quite unruly at times. We did a board and train session with James and the change is phenomenal. They were primarily outside dogs but they are inside with us now that they are so well behaved. Their recall is greatly improved, I have them outside on our acreage with no leash and rarely have an issue. They used to be the Houdini of escape artists but now they are content to just run around like crazies and then come back inside to take a nap. When I am asked about trainers James is my first and only recommendation. I will forever be grateful for the new and improved fur babies I got back. Red and Rosie are sweet as can be these days.
Gunnison Kennels in Grand Junction gave my 8mo Golden Retriever dog a fantastic place to stay and have fun while we had fun at Country Jam. James and his wife let him romp around their huge fenced yard, meet goats and chickens, play with their kids and make some new dog friends. It’s was great to know he could be part of their pack! It was in the 90s and they had a pool and sprinklers for him so he stayed cool. He really wasn’t too excited to leave when we picked him up lol. I would happily use them again for boarding or training next time we are in town. Thanks, James!
I am new to the area and needed a dog sitter fast due to an unexpected out of town trip. My parents recommended James as they had used him for a day to watch their yellow lab while they were visiting. James was friendly and accommodating to my last minute plans and right away I felt comfortable after talking to him and even more so after meeting him and seeing his place. He kept me up to date daily with pictures and texts as to how my dog was doing. She usually has lots of anxiety without me but she did great with the daily walks and interactions with his family and other dogs. I will gladly continue to take my dog to him when I am out of town. Highly recommend!
We went out of town for 3 weeks and left our sweet pup with Gunnison Kennels. We got photo and text updates regularly. Communication and pricing is top notch!
James was fantastic! We gave him our dog Frodo for a boot camp and he absolutely whipped him into shape! He also is great about communicating what his training looks like and how to be able to continue the training after we got our dog back. He absolutely lives for his dogs and his job, and he also really cares for his customers as well. He puts them first, and he is absolutely flexible on pretty much everything. My wife and I absolutely recommend James to anyone who has dog or dogs that need help and training. He can literally do it all!!
We were recommended Teri with Angels by our vet and wish we recorded before and after videos because of the incredible results! Teri is so positive with our dogs and has helped us overcome years of issues in a matter of weeks!! In addition to Teri coming to our house for the training, she would always send a recap of each session along with tips and resources for practicing before the next one. She has a true gift for training and we are so grateful to her!
Teri has worked wonders with my Great Pyrenees, Kodiak. She is able to solve problems better than I thought possible. The training classes weren't a good fit for my guy so we do 1-on-1 sessions and it is exactly what he needs. When a new issue arises I feel confident that Teri can solve it. Thanks so much for improving Kodiak's quality of life.
Really enjoyed the puppy classes! Helpful, practical information and Marisa was fantastic! I really appreciate learning how to use positive reinforcement to build a bond and structure with my puppy. I've also worked with Teri in private session with our 3 year old mix and those sessions have also been very helpful to relieve fence aggression. Highly recommend!
I am so grateful to this group. We adopted a puppy that had been a stray and need foundational, very basic training. I had no idea where to start and Teri and her group group clear and tangible guidance/support consistently to help us. Teri is also just brilliant and patient, and is truly gifted in this space.
Wonderful! We could not be happier! We have four (that's right) four fur kids that were a handful, and one was pretty aggressive to the others. That is now a thing of the past. Teri's guidance and education has helped us build a better atmosphere for the fur kids and they are better behaved. The one thing I want to stress is consistency. It's vital to continue what Teri teaches. Otherwise, it's not fair to your dogs. Call Angels in the Making. You won't be disappointed.
These ladies are the greatest. I had a fear of blending my dogs together, since one of them is quite witchy. Teri and Marisa answered many questions, gave suggestions and were patient. Marisa came to house and helped me realize that with training (me and the dogs) there would be a group of 3 dogs that would be able to coexist in the house together. Thank you bunches
We have taken our dog through several of Angels' classes and have thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. Their training methods are positive and effective, and cultivate a wonderful dog-human bond. I have recommended Angels to adopters at the shelter where I volunteer. Not surprisingly, many have already taken classes there. My only criticism is that I find their prices really high. It can be a bit of a disincentive to continue training with them. Nonetheless, you and your dog will get very good results and enjoy the process of training with your dog.
Very knowledgeable set of people to help you get your dog trained. The main teacher for beginning class only has a year of experience but seems very dedicated and energetic. Very detailed on what needs to take place very thorough in their presentation and a good location for training your pets.
We approached Teri for help with behavior issues with our dog, Mona Lisa, who had been showing aggression towards other dogs. Over the course of a month, Teri worked with us and our dog to get the tools we need for training to reduce aggression. Mona Lisa is already much happier and more obedient. Teri has a deep understanding of dog behavior. She is a good listener and problem solver who specializes in catering to your pet's needs. I would highly recommend Teri Thomas of Angels In the Making to anyone looking for a highly skilled dog trainer or behaviorist.
Terri is the BEST! She has a genuine compassion and love for dogs and works hard to see not only them but their owners have a good quality of life. She is extremely knowledgeable and has no hesitation to work with your Veterinarian to come up with a legitimate plan for your pet. Truly a kind soul, I would recommend her to anyone.
