Professional pet-sitter and nonprofit professional looking to travel more!
Heather was a pleasure to have in my home to care for my two dogs. She was interested in the fine points of their care, food, medicine, sleeping etc, with complete acceptance of their routine. Heather communicated with me daily about her day and her day with the pups, along with adorable photos so I knew what was going on at home. Before leaving, I went over a few household items, such as trash out days, yard clean up after the pups, etc. there was not an issue with following these directions. I travel alot for ski clinics, and there have been prior issues. But not at all with Heather. She was sweet and kind to me and the pups, let me know if there were food issues with the pups, if we were running low, or if one of my pups did not finish his food with medication. Also, Healther took immaculate care of my home. Sheets and towels were washed, kitchen and bathroom were cleaned. I appreciated her level of care, especially arriving home after a long travel day. I was able to come home to a perfect house, along with a thank you note from Heather. Also, Heather left me a de-brief text. Wonderful housesitter!!! I welcome Heather back next ski season....

Experienced, Caring, and Reliable Digital Nomad Couple(25+ Sits)
Lucy and Jordon were great house sitters. They cared for my cat Rigby for 16 nights. He is an outdoor cat so I am always worried when I leave him. We only had one bear visitor who cleaned out the apple tree. They did a great job meeting Rigby's needs and keeping him safe. I am grateful that Lucy and Jordon were the house sitters and I would recommend them to others and use them again

Mature, nurturing house/pet sitter
Maya and London are my pup's guardian angels!! Bear suffered a stroke while I was away, a truly terrifying event and not something any sitter should be expected to handle! It was only due to Maya's care and attention that Bear was able to get the urgent care she needed. Maya had amazing communication and was there to support Bear every step of the way. Words cannot express how thankful I am that Maya and London were here when I couldn't be. I am so infinity grateful to them both.

Tracy has housesit for me before and she was wonderful then and she was wonderful again this year. Also, Alex is an added plus because he loves my cat Rocky almost as much as I do. They are the most reliable pet sitters you can ask for, and they will love your pet as if he is their own. They waited For me to arrive home from my trip, which was very kind. Do not hesitate to hire them in the future.

Thawn, Mae (&Pitchey) were absolutely delightful. When I was leaving for my trip, they helped me collapse my dog stroller & Thawn started my motorcycle (as I was concerned about the battery). Absolutely so kind, helpful- even left me a couple of small gifts!! They were way, way above expectations! I was soooo lucky to have them!!

Leslie consistently demonstrated outstanding communication skills, both initially and throughout the entire process, and I would gladly give her more stars if possible. Leslie arrived as scheduled, and instantly the animals fell in love with her and Bennie. Our cats love our dogs but usually won't come in the house when a strange dog is here but they didnt even hesitate to come meet Bennie. Bennie was very calm and a true gentleman. Leslie sent pictures throughout the sit reassuring us the gang were all getting along and enjoying her and Bennie's company. She read through the welcome guide before we left as well as we showed her around. It was very nice getting the chance to know her a bit before we ledt the following morning. We felt very comfortable knowing our home and pets were in good hands. It is very apparent when you meet Leslie that she truly does love animals. When our Molly decided to hide, Leslie called us right away because she feared Molly may have gotten spooked by a firework going off in the neighborhood and escaped under the gate. I felt so bad for Leslie because she blamed herself because it was on her watch. I have trackers on all my pets and it turned out that Molly was still in the house and just hiding really well. She can curl up.pretty small. Lealie took our Lab to check the walking route and see if Molly was there. When I called and told her Molly had to be at the house because her tracker showed her there, she returned to our home and Molly hreeted her as she came in the front door. I was very appreciative of Leslie's phone call though because she didnt wait hours to call, she searched the yard and house and called right away. We decided to cut our trip short a day and asked Leslie if she minded if we came home a day early. We let her know we didnt expect her to leave early and made sure she was comfortable with our decision. As a pet parent, it is imperative that we remember the sitters are also on vacation and we didnt want to intrude on her time. As it turned out, we ended up stopping by the ER on our way home where my husband was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm. Unfortunately we had both the RV and my car and I needed to figure out how to get them home. I reached out to Leslie who offerred to give me a ride back to the hospital after I dropped o e vehicle off at home so I could retrieve the second vehicle. BTW, the surgeon was able to repair my hubbys aneurysm and he will be coming home soon. Leslie was a comfort during this frightening time and even stayed an extra day to help out and care for our home and pets. She was a teue blessing. Leslie left the house spotless along with so.e fresh flowers for me when I got back from visiting my husband. If you get an opportunity to host Leslie in your home, rest assured your home and pets will be well loved and well taken care of. We.would welcome.Leslie back anytime. She is not just a pet sitter, she is a new trusted friend.
Lani is an excellent Pet Sitter and housesitter. Communication was easy, our pet Cleo appreciated her loving care. We came home to a relaxed and happy cat. I would happily ask Lani to housesit again.
Samantha and Scott are great sitters and we enjoyed hearing from them a couple of times while we were away. Our pets were very relaxed and happy too! Very happy to recommend them.
Angela did a great job caring for Willie for 10 days while we were out of town. She was easy to communicate with and kept us informed about Willie, along with sending photos of him out on walks and at the beach. Angela was very accomodating when we needed to come home a day early - Thank you! The house was left in good shape and it's clear that Angela is organized and reliable and clearly loves her pet charges. I'd recommend Angela and will definitely include her as one of our top sitter choices in the future! Thanks again, Angela!
Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. I’m very pleased and would both recommend her and love to have her again.
Martin was a very conscientious and thoughtful house sitter who took excellent care of our pets and our home. He was reliable, self-sufficient, and a very good communicator. He clearly enjoys and cares for animals, and our house was spotless when we returned. We recommend him wholeheartedly!
Carolina was a fantastic Pet sitter. From the beginning, it was straightforward to communicate with her. She met us before we left our trip and ensured she understood all the house and pet logistics. Luna and Cal were very comfortable with her and were best friends with her fast. She was very affectionate with them, and Luna and Cal loved her and were very happy with her. Carolina was very responsive and sent updates. She was really lovely and easy to communicate with. She was very respectful of our space and very tidy. She even washed the sheets and towels she used even when she didn’t need to. She put a lot of care into caring for Luna and Cal, and they looked very comfortable with her. Having Carolina as a pet sitter made our trip very easy, knowing our pets were cared for so well. We would love to have her back to sit for us again and highly recommend her.
I could not have asked for a better first time sitter experience! Terry & Vinnie were absolutely wonderful people. They took stellar care of my beloved pets and my home. Their communication with me was enough that I felt perfectly at ease during my time away and in turn, they were super responsive if I contacted them. My pets were relaxed and happy when I returned!
Jeremy and Brooke were fantastic! We have a senior dog and a over hyper pittie. They gave Daisy her meds and had lengthy walks with Fin to burn off some of his energy. Brooke sent me regular texts to show me precious pictures of the pups by the Christmas tree, which warmed my ❤️. The house looked great when we returned. They are awesome detailed sitters and will make your pets feel loved and secure!!
Deboraj took great care of the apartment and of our goofy unsociable cat. She went out of her way to bring catnip and make friends with Rowan. She communicated often and cared to be as good a house and pet sitter as could be. I can gladly recommend her highly to anyone else looking. Thank you Deborah.

We used pet lodge USA many years ago for daycare and occasional lodging then we moved out of state and loved them. When we moved back we lived to far to do daycare so had to find another daycare closer to home and work. We needed a pet lodging quickly because we needed to go out of town u expectedly and our daycare was full. Pet lodge was able to make accommodations quickly for us with no problems. Our senior dog (that used to attend daycare there) was on medication for her arthritis and lumping and the new pup (which attends a daycare but has never stayed away from home) adjusted quickly. When we picked them up our senior was not limping anymore, was running out like a pup and was so happy. The pup, he was exhausted from playing and got all kinds of love from the staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
They over book dogs lock them together when customers paid for private suite and also put them in small cages they been reported to ohio department of agriculture with alot more videos and pictures group text etc. Feed animals wrong food don't feed some of them I quit there it was driving me crazy the way they neglected the animals
I was nervous to board our dog because he has anxiety and has never been boarded before. I went in person to ask questions and was assured that he would be well taken care of. When it came time for drop off, I was disappointed. It was quick and impersonal. Pick up was even worse. There was absolutely no feedback or report on how he did. When I asked how he did, the only response I got was a seemingly annoyed one saying that he was going crazy in the crate. I specifically wrote in his paperwork that he has anxiety and doesn't do well in crates so in my opinion if they cared about the dog, he should not have been in a crate especially long enough to get annoyed at him for being "crazy". The person at the front desk was just unfriendly and unwelcoming. If I didn't ask that question, I think I could have left without a word spoken to me besides how much I owe them. I sent extra food and treats just in case and didn't get any of it back. He also was a different dog when I picked him up. At first I thought he was upset with us but it wasn't that. He was completely out of it for two days. So basically I have no idea what happened while he was there because there was absolutely no communication. They advertise care and compassion but that is not what I experienced. I'm sure some employees care about the animals but that is not what is put out by the front office. I feel terrible for leaving our dog there and won't be doing that again. UPDATE: The owners called me and apologized for my experience at the front desk and said that is not thier expectation of how customers get treated. They thanked me for bringing it to thier attention so they can address it and not let it go any further. They gave me more information on how Jake's week went and I feel more comfortable. They also explained their procedures a little more. Also explained that the days are active and they may not get as much rest there as they are use to so he may have just been tired and catching up on sleep which is why he seemed out of it. Since I had no other information and my only interaction was with the person at the front desk, that is all I had to base my opinion on and it didn't feel good. I am going to trust the owners that Jake was well taken care of and that they will address any issues that arose. I am adjusting my rating from 1 star on faith that my interaction with one person does not represent the integrity of a whole business. I am still deducting stars for him being in a crate when he shouldn't have been. They did apologize and will address it with employees but that was still my experience and I want to be honest. I do appreciate that they called and were willing to hear me out and work on things that shouldn't have happened.
I recently boarded my pup with them over a long holiday weekend. I dropped him off in the afternoon. The drop off was great, the two younger girls were friendly and asked a lot of questions. It made me feel good about leaving him there, since it was his first time being boarded. That good feeling faded quickly when I arrived to pick him up on a Monday morning. The staff was different from the drop off. I asked how he did and was looked at like that was a foreign question by the man behind the desk. He then asked another worker who said “oh he did great with the other dogs.” Great, but I specifically signed a paper that advised he should not be with other dogs due to a guarding issue and I was looking out for the best interest of other dogs staying at the location. She clearly had no idea nor did she look at any computer or paperwork to give me an answer. To add insult to injury our pup who is fully vaccinated caught kennel cough. I am giving them 2 stars for the employees at the intake. I do not recommend them.
They do excellent work on my dog nails I need to take your time to work with the animals
You might want to start clearing out those small cages you put the dogs in when you lie to people and tell them that their pet is getting it’s own suit. Pictures of your facility and tags with dogs names are blasted all over social media.also can’t say it only happened a couple times because there are time stamps!!! Lots of pictures! Don’t bring your pups or cats here! Your responses to these people who love their pets are just as disgusting as this dog prison. I hope you don’t own any animals.
Just had a terrible experience at pet lodge and pulled my dog from there due to them being dishonest at point of signing up. Found out almost a year later that I was basically paying for my dog to be shoved in a kennel the entire time he was there. (I don’t need daycare so when I signed up I specifically said I wanted to pay for him to just come during play time and was told 9-12 he would be playing. This was a lie and I only found out after he hurt himself in the kennel.) so out of 3 hours he’s supposed to be playing, he might have gotten 30 minutes IF the weather was good. Apparently your dog only plays with dogs their size so when other dogs are playing (small, medium, or large) they go in a kennel or crate. IT IS NOT A SUITE. Some dogs apparently don’t even get the luxury of a kennel and are put into crates of there’s no room. They have sent him home covered in feces (I thought he might have ran through a dogs poop and they accidentally thought it was mud) now realizing it was probably his own from the anxiety he gets being put in a crate. Especially since he had no comfort items with him due to us thinking he was never being put in a kennel😡. He also has developed fear aggression that he never had prior to going here. I originally thought it was my negligence of socialization (even though he’s around people very regularly with me and no bad interactions)but after hearing many other’s experience's with this daycare, I’m thinking not so much.
My dog has been getting hair cuts from this place for a while now and used to stay in the lodge but recently we've had a very bad experience with the hair groomer. She was very nasty when we picked up our dog and our dog seems traumatized and is now limping after her hair cut. We've incountered her 2 times now and the first time I caught her yelling at my dog to sit still in the tub. I have an old small dog who barely moves during baths other then her head away from the water. I will not be bringing my dog back and would not reccomend
Confused and concerned. When we set up to board our dogs there, what we told and what we got charged were 2 entirely different things. Drop-off was ok, but they are unwilling to show you where your animals will be staying. No one answered the phone when you call to check and when we went to pick up, there was no conversation, no explanation, and no one was really working to answer questions. My husband comes home with just a debit receipt, and that's it. No papers, no invoice to show why we were charged so much, nothing but the promise that they will email us. I left a message, and I'm waiting to hear back. Will update my review after a conversation with them. Update Even though we were told drop off time between 630 am and noon and pick up time before noon, We got CHARGED an extra day. The gal on the phone says that drop off time (so as not to be charged a DAYCARE fee or an extra night) drop off is AFTER 3 pm and pick up before noon. STILL DOESN'T QUALIFY AS 1 EXTRA day. If it is all inclusive then why a daycare fee for when I am paying you to watch my dogs anyway. Liars and cheats. Unfortunately things need to get put into writing, and they are the only boarding place near us. Total for 2 dogs 1 night 88, 2 nights 176, even if you try to break down their invoice non of the pricing matches up.
Calvin got his nails done by Becky and he feels much better!
Everyone at the Dog Stop is extremely friendly and welcoming. They take great care of our dog Bear when we both have to work. I’d say they spoil him like he’s their own family. He’s made countless dog friends there. It’s been an overly pleasant experience and we plan to continue taking Bear there for years to come. They offer excellent grooming services and overnight boarding as well if needed.
Just picked my dog up from a long term stay (boarded due to entire family in Europe) and I am unhappy. First off, I received a text message from The Dog Stop 9 days into her stay telling me that she ran out of food. The amount of food I gave them when I dropped her off usually takes her WELL over 2 weeks to finish. I let it go, thought she must be extra hungry for some reason, and said that I would purchase daily meals for $2 a piece for her until we got back. Meanwhile, I was actually able to find someone to bring her some more food before she ran out and requested that she NOT be given the $2 meals. When I went to pick her up, they charged me anyways for their meals (13 times?) when she didn’t even need them because we were able to find someone to bring her extra food. On top of that, SHE IS A SKELETON NOW! So tell me, how does my dog finish all of her dog food that I brought for her in 9 days (when it takes her well over 2 weeks to finish at home) AND finish the new food we had dropped off, plus her entire treat bag, but look like she lost 15-20 pounds. So did she actually eat all of her food or not? Makes no sense by the way she looks. Will not be returning for boarding.
The team members at the Dog Stop are truly incredible! They take extra care with each pup to learn/adapt to their quirks/needs to ensure a great experience for them (and their humans!) I cannot recommend them enough!!
Was our first time at the dog stop with Lola. We were very pleased with everyone there. Lexi the groomer. Was very sweet and caring with Lola did a great cut of her fur and everything else she had done. The receptionist behind the desk was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions plus gave us some good advise. The place was very clean and I would recommend them to call the price was good to. Thanks for such a great. Service SUE
My pup was in the same condition when he was dropped off as he was when I picked him up after 10 days. We got updates and looked at the cameras to see how he was doing. Grandma came to visit and the staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you for taking care of my baby! Staff was caring and took the time to play and get to know our dog. They loved him and he loved them back!
What an incredible place for our pup! You can see and feel the love of animals throughout the entire staff. With a huge variety of stay options and amenities, there is no limit to the pamper you can provide your pup. I was impressed with the first stay, as they ensured our pup was comfortable with the other dogs staying and playing as they introduced them one by one. I highly recommend The Dog Stop for anything from a few hours of play to a few days of safe and fun enjoyment for any dog!
Absolutely fantastic people & place! My dog previously got attacked as a pup and had anxiety around other dogs typically so we were nervous about daycare. Ever since putting her in, i've seen a true change with her! She's more social and open, and she loves going! Shes super excited everytime we say we're dropping her off, which means she feels safe! Love that they have puppy cams so I can see her and check in. It's so sweet to see my little baby finally have friends. Would reccomend to anyone!
If I could give them a NEGATIVE 10,000 it wouldn’t be enough. We’re paying for boarding a dog at $49 a night……you would expect them to take the dog out to go to the restroom. My dog has never ever pooped nor peed in our house because we take her out at every 6 to 8 hours. Most of the time more often because we’re outside a lot. Never in my wildest dream would I have thought that they would keep dogs in their kennel over 10 hours at a time. I arrived to pick up my border collie and found that they handed me a wet dog bed and never explained why they were handing me a dog bed in a trash bag until I opened it and smelled the urine. I went back into the establishment to ask them why it was wet and the girl proceeded to tell me that Pepper had peed on it or that she dumped water on it. I didn’t wanna cause a scene because there were people in the establishment, so I left…..angry! The scene I would’ve caused would’ve been because she never peeps or poops on anything, ever!!! I get an email to give a review and explain my unhappy feelings in the review. I get a phone call today where the young lady explains to me that she was in her kennel for 10 hours which infuriated me even more because there’s supposed to take her out to potty. Then she proceeds to tell me that a lot of times the dogs are left in their kennel for 16 hours. What the heck am I paying $50 a night for if you’re going to leave the dog in a kennel for that long???? That’s freaking ridiculous!!! Not only are you teaching her that it’s OK to poop where she’s not supposed to poop and pee but you’re making her hold her urine give her bladder problems because you’re lazy and won’t go take the freaking dogs out! Never ever ever ever ever will I ever take her to Dog Stop in Boardman, Ohio!!! Freaking ridiculous!!! I cannot get over how angry this makes me for putting my dog through that. Let me put you in a kennel for 16 hours and see how you feel! Ridiculous!!!! This is an establishment that is supposed to love and adore dogs. Wow, is all I can say and how disappointed and hurt I am for any dog that has to stay there.
We started boarding our pup here after a bad experience somewhere else. We are happy with the services and our dog is always excited to see everyone at the Dog Stop!
Awesome groomers and great boarding facilities. Love the cameras as well where you can monitor playtime. The employees treat our dogs as if they are their own.
We had a family vacation planned and Kristina came highly recommended by our friend. We had her 4x a day with our pups. They were able to stay in our home and be taken care of. She sent videos and pictures and texts everyday. We loved seeing them! We will definitely have Kristina back!
Kristina always does such a wonderful job with our pug, two kitties & our goldfish! Even our shy kitty loves Kristina! She's trustworthy & takes care of our pets as if they were her own. I'm so thankful to have found her!
We loved working with Kristina! She is so professional- very attentive, organized, and reliable. She provides excellent communication and care. Our pups were so relaxed with her. We will be using her again!
Kristina took great care of our dog! She texted when she arrived each day and sent pictures to keep us informed. Highly recommend Kristina's Pet Sitting!
Kristina is absolutely wonderful! She is very well organized and detailed. She watched my dogs for an extended stay and we were completely pleased. I received texts, updates, and pictures each day that we were on vacation. Kristina was so sweet and extremely loving towards my boys. They had so much fun playing fetch, running around outside, plenty of walks, and of course cuddling! I highly recommend her services!
Kristina is so sweet and personable! Our dog, Jojo, loves her and looks forward to her visits. I would highly recommend Kristina's services for your animals! She is very flexible and responds quickly and always confirms with me. Love working with her!
Kristina is professional and kept me posted throughout the day. So glad she provides this service and will certainly call her again to watch Lucia!
I would highly recommend Kristina to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dependable person to watch their pets at a reasonable price. Very happy with her services so far and looking forward to continuing in the future!
My dad met Marcus S. "Marc" McLemore back in the 1990s back when his father James L. "J.L." McLemore seen here was still the owner and breeding dogs and trained our dogs and we had our dogs until we couldn't take care of them anymore but that's beside the point and the McLemores do a good job raising puppies
This is how my dog's came home to me. He said he stopped taking care of them because I didn't keep paying him. Paid him 1400.00 when they where dropped off. More than enough for food for a year. Paid for 6 leashes, received 2. Never take your dog here. Mark physically ripped the chain out in front of my daughter and her boyfriend. He throw the chain away she said with meat, blood, and fur on it. She said she almost fainted it was so tramatic . This is one person that should never have an animal in his care. Be Warned. Read reviews first.
Sorry but the owner AND ALL employees need EXTENSIVE training with reactive, hyper and nervous animals so they are NOT abusive towards them. They should have CCTV installed in every room and it should be running 24/7. If you have nothing to fear, this shouldn't be an issue. But this kennel doesn't want you to see some things that have gone on. Owners BEWARE of this. It has happened to some animals here. Not all. But even a few is enough. Also, not feeding an animal because an owner didn't leave enough food or money is HIGHLY irresponsible. Letting an animal starve and cry out of hunger while you walk by it every day should have gotten you SHUT DOWN. Be in it for the animal. OWNERS please understand that if you leave your animal here, there is a chance it will be badly mistreated.
Sent my dog there for a month of training. When I went to pick up my dog, she didn't look like the same dog I left with him. She was totally emaciated, sick with the Giardia parasite and not even trained. Marc gave me the excuse that he was too busy and over whelmed. Well then...why did he take my money and put my dog through hell? I was set back 2 months in training due to him keeping her for a month and then I couldn't take her anywhere to training because of Giardia. Please think long and hard on your decision before taking your dog to this kennel...for anything.
I live in pa. I don't know about marks boarding But I have purchased two beautiful Super intelligent Rottweiler from Mark. They have been in my life over 20 years I still have one Greta who is 12 years old. I would g back in heartbeat to get Another Rottie from Mclemores. His mother Was a beautiful persona do he was a true gentleman.Thank You Mark for your Dogs they have always been noted for their beauty And intelligence. They are my stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Much better than what a lot of people are saying on here. I will speak about my personal encounter with the man and hes been nothing but great to me, sent me photos & videos of my puppy everyday for almost 5 days and fed and took care of her properly. I would recommend him and wouldn't mind using his services again in the future if I needed to.
Do not trust this guy. He is a total LIAR. He lies to you every time and he knows that he lies. I hate people like Marcus McLemore. In regards to his dogs, he was banned from International Cane Corso Federation (ICCF) because of poor quality. I do NOT recommend this place. STAY AWAY!
Worst experience of my life . It was Filthy and My dog was scared to death, acted like he didn't know us
Did a good job with my dog
Our long haired cat had lots of knots in her coat. I called and was able to get an appointment the next day. When I dropped off our cat, I had a quick conversation with the groomer so we both were on the same page about what was expected. Very clear communication was greaty appreciated! I was able to get food nearby and received a call when our cat was ready for pickup. Overall pleasant experience, and definitely will be returning for future grooming!
Management is super friendly and welcoming. My dogs usual groomer, Sydney, is an angel on earth! She has done wonders for his reactivity and nerves at the groomers. His first ever appointment took almost 3 hours, but now she has him looking spiffy in just about an hour. She is super accommodating to my crazy school schedule. Whenever I tell my dog, “We are going to see Sydney,” he always gets very excited (but then he remembers that Sydney is the groomer and gets less excited 😂). Sydney has been a truly amazing groomer and I am so sad to be moving. I know it will be very difficult to find another groomer as amazing as her.
Jaimi did a wonderful job with my beautiful beast Penny Lane ❤️ She's a big girl and I know it was no easy task, so much appreciation for taking the time to get her done!
The entire experience was amazing. They got my dog in promptly, the understood that he gets anxious and they took special care to make him feel comfortable. He was groomed perfectly and in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend!
I am so thankful to have found such amazing groomers! I always know that my two pups are in great hands when I drop them off and am wildly impressed with the services they receive. Couldn’t recommend the Pet Spa more! ❤️
WOW! SO very pleased with our experience today. My 5 month old puppy was groomed for the first time and he seemed to LOVE it!! He not only looks great but was not at all traumatized. Thank you Jaime!!
I had gone to the pet spa for a number of years....... And saw the turnover of all the groomers that worked there.... They didn't last very long under the ownership of Megan... But my newfound poo always seemed to be happy when I would picked him up after being groomed... In August I took him for his normal grooming with Jamie, the new groomer, after the business had shut down for approximately one month... When I picked Matthias up from the groomer... He could not wait to get the hell out of the building and leave as quickly as possible... Within the next week, Matthias developed diarrhea and was dragging his butt on the ground.... I called the owner Megan to express my concern of what went on when he was groomed by the new groomer Jamie... Jamie called me and I asked Jamie, the groomer, how she did his anal glands... She told me that she did them externally and did them by herself...... Which I found very concerning because Matthias ,90 pounds, won't even let me do his anal glands by myself... I ended up taking Matthias to the veterinarian to be evaluated medically... The vet bill cost me $80 along with the $100 that I spent to have him groomed... The vet told me that his anal area was traumatized and he did his anal glands internally... And a large amount of discharged was obtained... I called Megan and ask her to reimburse me for my grooming cost because of the vet bill that I had to pay and the abuse that he received from during his grooming... Which I have never heard back from her concerning that issue... In summary... IN MY OPINION... if you are going to take your dog there be careful of the abuse that your animal may receive from the groomer(s)... Since that traumatic day that he had at the Pet Spa in August... He will not let a groomer touch him because of the trauma that he received at the Pet Spa in August... I am now grooming him myself and have become quite good at it.... If you are taking your dog to the PET SPA and notice agitation/urgency to leave after picking them up... Don't hesitate to file a complaint with animal human society or your local police department... I thought it was important to let people know of my most recent experience at the Pet Spa... Because my dog is the Only Family I have on earth.
Brought my cats in and they did an amazing job!!! I also had my dog done a month ago and it was fantastic!! Can’t say enough about how caring and accommodating the staff is! Thank you PetSpa and see you again soon!!
We recently moved to the area, and I found Jaimi! My three dogs have never looked better, and doodles are hard to maintain. Jaimi always finds time to get us in, even on short notice. It says a lot about a person when your dogs are excited to see their groomer! So blessed to have found her!
Pet Dog Salon is amazing with our dog Ellie. She’s been here multiple times and every time is an amazing experience. I highly recommend Pet Spa Salon for anyone looking for a groomer for their pets.
My 17 year old pup Kirby is blind and deaf and in stage 4 kidney disease. Now on meds and IV fluids I give him, he's somehow doing much better. I love how they return texts super quick I send about important questions I have for Kirby. A little more expensive but I'm ok with it. Good group of ladies working. Also coffee and water is available.
South Mill Vet Clinic is top notch. Each person that comes in contact with Gunner is professional and caring. They remember that he need specific handling but are grateful that I remind them. Dr. Noble is experienced and knowledgeable, but she's also humble enough to refer a pet to a specialist when needed. I can, and have, without hesitation recommend this practice!
Thank you to South Mill Vet Clinic, Dr Cerissa Noble, and the amazing staff. This is the first Vet to actually listen and address my concerns. Very, very pleased with the care and attention given to my Hank and myself. Can't thank you ladies enough. Thanks for taking us on as new clients.
I love South Mill Veterinary Clinic. All the staff and doctors are very nice and very professional. I have show cats and they treat them well and carefully. It is so important! I have been to a lot veterinarians over many years and in different parts of the country, and they are my favorite
You can have complete confidence in choosing South Mill Veterinary Clinic for veterinary care. Dr. Noble (Chief of Staff) combines a traditional and holistic approach to animal care including Standard and Advanced Veterinary Acupuncture, Chinese Veterinary Medicine, Chinese Herbal Therapy, and she also has a pending certification for Veterinary Food Therapy. She never stops learning, and she truly cares. Utilizing a multi-faceted approach allows her to provide the best care for your pet; providing the best immediate help, but also seeking to get to the root of the issue, with a goal of getting your pet back to optimum health the best way possible, and keep them healthy. That said, South Mill isn't an ordinary veterinary clinic, it is an Extraordinary Veterinary Clinic; from the top down. Each and every team member there truly loves animals, and provides care to your pet as if it was their own. One can only wish that our own human health care practitioners would realize that this type care, utilizing a collaboration of different modalities is the best approach to ALL health care. Practitioners, whether treating animals or humans, need to understand the importance of getting to the root of the problem rather than treating a symptom by prescribing a pill, radiation and chemo, or cutting something out. We ALL are what we eat. Prevent it, so you don't have to treat it later on! I know she's on to something with the Veterinary Food Therapy! I'll be talking to her about this soon!!! I hope you all have happy, healthy pets. With confidence, you can, and should, choose the South Mill Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Noble and her team to help you keep them that way.
when I found out my dog had an enlarged heart .I contacted South Mill and asked if they had experience with dogs with heart problems, they said they do all the time, so they made me give a deposit before they would make my appointment which I did no problem, then when I get there dr Rachel Wisnoski started to talked to me in a very cold way. No emotion from that woman , I did not like the way she treated me but my dogs life was in her hands so when she recommended to have a echocardiogram which was $750 I agreed and then they told me that the pictures weren't clear enough they said they thought she had pulmonary stenosis but wasn't sure. because they were blurry pictures and wanted me to retake that echo again in two weeks at my cost. I specifically told her not to call me during work hours if it was bad news, to call me after work. so she calls me right before a surgery and tells me that my dog can drop dead at any given time. and that she did not feel like treating her at this time. I did have a refill on my vetmedin that she gave me on her pharmacy page. My dog has no symptoms it is now 5 months later. so no symptoms. I even told her we were doing palliative treatment because my dog is 9 years old and I don't have the money to go to a cardiologist.so when I put in for the refill she canceled my order mind you it is the week before Christmas. I have 20 pills left. and this woman took over $1,000 from me and then took my refill away that could save my dog's life. I'm so glad I decided to go back to my original vet who is treating my dog . if not for him I don't know what I would have done. The woman in that office at the very nice when you first come but they aren't. if a doctor would take away a refill prescription right before Christmas for a dog with a heart problem that's pretty cold-hearted. I wouldn't recommend you take anything here.
The entire staff at South Mill is superb; they are like a family and our K9 pets, Molly and Hachi, deserve the best, and they get that at South Mill. I trust Dr. Noble and her staff 100%.
Everyone was nice and accommodating. I Appreciated that you listened to my concerns that Hunny stresses easily so you examined her in the room with us present
Great service and excellent staff. We just got a puppy for the first time and everyone there was so helpful and kind. Thank you
Have 3 felines that we've been taking there for many years and the attention and love they're given is second to none whether it's boarding or veterinarian care...we couldn't be happier!
Teresa does a great job, she will be our new dog sitter moving forward! We can’t say enough great things, highly recommend!
