Gatsby loves his play time at The Dog Play Spot! When he comes home he’s tired and ready for a nap. We’ve had him fully groomed and recently just a bath and nail trim. The services are easy to add through the online request process. The staff are all professional and approachable. They even give updates on how he behaves through the day when asked. Recommend giving them a try. Next up for us is to try an overnight group boarding.

We have been taking our 2 year old Australian shepherd, Izzy, here for about a year and a half. The first few times she went she did not want to go. They would tell me she paid more attention to the humans than the dogs. She would stay by the doors trying to get out and walk the fence line looking for ways to escape. I asked if I should keep bringing her or just keep her at home. I didn’t want to stress her out. She’s a pretty anxious dog and definitely has separation anxiety so I wasn’t sure if daycare was right for her. One of the girls told me give it a few days and after 4 or 5 times we would know if she was going to calm down and enjoy day care or if she was going to be anxious every time she was there. On the 4th or 5th time there i had decided that this was the last day I was bringing her here. I felt too bad bringing her somewhere she didn’t want to b. I didn’t like that she wasn’t having a good time. That day I went to pick her up and they told me SHE HAD SO MUCH FUN TODAY!!! she had played with other dogs and even made a bestie for the day. The staff was so proud of her and so was I. Since that day Izzy LOVES going to daycare. When I tell her we are going she gets so excited. When we get there I cannot open the door fast enough for her! The staff here is kind and caring and you can see they love their jobs here and have fun being here. I love that they have cameras so I can check on her at any time and see what she’s up to. And although we have never had to board her I think it’s amazing that they have people here 24/7 so the dogs that are boarded have someone there with them. I know Izzy loves the pool as she comes home wet many days. I love the different activities they have throughout the week for the dogs and also the different holiday events and artwork they do. Recently they had a Halloween party that included costumes and photos. Izzy has also come home with really cute art projects. Also every so often while she’s there I will get a text with a photo of what she’s up to right then. We are moving to Nashville soon and I just hope to find a place like this out there that Izzy loves just as much.

We’re SO glad we found The Dog Play Spot! Bailey loves to run with her buds and has made such good friends there. The staff loves having her and takes such good care of her! She comes home very tired and very happy. ☺️🐾 I love the camera access! …

We love having them take care of our boy! Their staff is fantastic! They offer so many great things other than just day daycare. Boarding, grooming, obedience classes. Photo opportunity throughout the year * some included. Sokka loves his days at “school”. He enjoys socializing with his friends. We are glad we found such a great place!

Just started taking my puppy here for daycare. I love that they have the webcams so I can check on him, but was also excited when they texted me a picture of him playing in the pool! He also got groomed for the first time and smells and looks great. Love it here so far!

It seems like a nice establishment, beautiful lobby with many toys and great vibes, kind customer service. That being said I'd never get my dog groomed here again. I came specifically for a full service groom, no day care. I was told that it was very apparent that my dog doesn't like being groomed - when our regular groomer back home says she wishes she could keep him. He is a truly stunning golden retriever, the perfect canvas for a beautiful shaped groom, and what I got was so uneven and jagged. There is even still matted fur on his chest and belly. Can't wait for his hair to grow out. I say all of this with respect and wishing them the best, but hoping for improvements to their grooming department.

As I walked in I smell the fresh scent that I never expected to smell being that this is a Dog day care and so clean. The reception area was so inviting. Being my first time here with my 12 year old chihuahua I truly was amazed. I waited at a seating area while they took my goober in to introduce him and see how he reacted to other dogs. I watched on the screen they had as my Goober entered and to my surprise he did so well being that he had never done this before. I was so pleased that I arranged for his stay in June while I am away for 6 days!! My baby came out looking so tired lol, he enjoyed himself!!!

The Dog Play Spot is the BEST boarding facility in Wilmington! We're fairly new here, but have already used 2 other boarding facilities for our anxious dog. There was nothing terribly wrong with the other two, they just weren't great, but The Dog Play Spot is head and shoulders better. They really pay attention to the needs of our dog, the facility is very clean, it's spacious and has plenty of staff to supervise dogs. AND the webcams are easily accessed on the website all day long, which gives us peace of mind. Our dog actually wags his tail as soon as he sees the employees and that's a first! It's a great place for playdates, too. Not the cheapest place (none are cheap), but definitely the best.

Moved to Wilmington about 2 weeks ago. Was looking for playcare for our 2 year old dog Colin. Chose the DOG PLAY SPOT for many reasons. Great reviews, close to downtown and exceptionally clean. The staff is great and so accommodating. They answer all your questions and are very interested in your "fur" baby. I am very happy with the service, pricing and care.

Pawville has been an absolute saving grace for our family! We started taking our dog here three times a week and during our vacations when he was just a puppy, and it has been the best decision we've ever made for his care. From day one, the staff at Pawville have been nothing short of amazing with our dog. They are incredibly attentive, genuinely care about each pet, and go above and beyond to ensure our pup is happy and comfortable. Every time we drop him off, he practically leaps out of the car with excitement, tail wagging furiously. It's such a relief to know he's in such good hands. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and has plenty of space for the dogs to play and socialize. Our dog comes home not only extremely happy but also wonderfully exhausted from all the fun he's had. It's clear that he loves his time at Pawville, and we couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you, Pawville, for being our pup's home away from home and for providing such exceptional care. We couldn't recommend you more highly!

We have been very pleased with the North Chase Pawville. Daphne loves going! I love the pictures and report card we get after every stay. We are currently taking her a couple of days a week. This location is currently under construction and I can’t wait to see when it’s completed.

They were so good to my baby boy! They sent pictures with his report card, were very sweet and accommodating to my nervous pup as well! The facility was clean, and well kept, and all staff were extremely friendly! Attached is a picture they caught of my pup!

I have been taking my dog Bean to Midtown Pawville since last September, a month after we rescued her. I was going across the country for a week so I was definitely nervous to board my dog. I was pleasantly surprised to find a report card in my messages! They send report cards daily. I had no idea they did this at the time and it made me so happy to see my dog was having a great time. I have never written a review before, not something I really think to do or want spend my time doing. I had to make an exception for pawville. Pawville has been a second home for my dog. SHE LOVES IT. Bean is a very high energy dog. It really means a lot that they get to know your dogs personality and put them with other dogs that matches their energy. The staff really go above and beyond for the dogs. What made me love this place even more is that they remember your dogs and get excited when they come back. The report cards are so personal and I have seen how much they love and care for my dog. They also run a very good business and are very professional, accommodating and responsive. They are also very on top of making sure your dog is up to date with vaccines, which I really appreciate. They really think of everything to make your dog happy. Its almost like your dogs are staying at a resort/spa lol. This is my FAVORITE place to board my dog in Wilmington. If you are looking for a place that takes good care of your animal AND a place that your animal will love I HIGHLY recommend Pawville :)

This is the best doggie daycare I've taken my dog to in Wilmington, NC. The staff are really friendly and the facility is really nice. My pup comes home happy and is so excited when I drop him off there. They send a nice report card at the end of the day with pics of my pup and how he did. They have all sorts of options for boarding as well.

Was pleasantly surprised how great this facility is, clean and neat, personnel is friendly yet professional, my dog develops resource guarding when I am gone ,so he guards his cage, this place works best because doggy dog is open and he can go potty and walk outside if he wants to, and best thing I can check on him on web camera ! Peace of mind for me,definitely will be boarding Bubbles here again !

I recently took my Pomeranian for her first visit to Animal House grooming salon, and I couldn't be more pleased! I want to give a special thanks to the GM, Scott, for recommending his Groomer, Trinette. She did an outstanding job! Every detail of my dog was absolutely beautiful and professionally done. Trinette is one of the best groomers I've used in a long time. I highly recommend you try her for yourself. I love Animal House! I've taken 5 dogs there and they all love it. They get excited when we pull on the street! The staff is always friendly and accommodating, even on all the short notices. My dogs come home tired and happy. I recommend this place to everyone!

I really am satisfied taking my dog to Animal House Wilmington. My dog gets to run around and play and socialize with other dogs. Sometimes I have to work extended hours, days on end and it is a comfort to me to know that I can drop him off there instead of keeping him alone, bored in my apt. peeing on the carpet. I also like they have special events, boarding, dog grooming and even obedience training. The staff is very nice and friendly and I feel completely comfortable leaving my dog in their hands. When I have to go out of town for several days I don't worry about boarding him at Animal House becsuse I know he is well taken care of.

My dog Finn has been going to day camp weekly for almost four years. The staff recognize us both the minute we walk in and I know I can trust them with my boy. The pool is the best part! I can’t recommend enough!

My Pittie Bleu loves to go to Animal House Day care. The staff is fabulous. He gets treats from the front desk and is always excited to go swim and play with his friends. 10 out of 10 I would Recommend.

Boarded my dogs here 3 times. The last time it was $700 and my dogs returned with kennel cough and my male with a giant wound on his head that was about 4 inches wide, a massive open bloody wound. Took 2 days to get the owner to contact us, and he just ran his mouth for 15 minutes trying to make himself look better, and that he’d pay for the vet visit then never reached back out. It’s been 2-3 months now, my dog is fully healed but I would like to warn others away from this place. The photos are far too gruesome to post, so I will leave those out so the review will post. The 2nd time we boarded them here, I put tape on the top of my food bin for my pets and on two intake forms I put that my female dog is food aggressive, and cannot be fed near my male or she’ll hurt him or worse. We watched for 2 hours while they had the food down in the same room with both of my dogs watching my female try to attack my male while nobody answered and the doors were locked so we could not inform them. I picked them up early from their stay at that time. The only reason I returned after the 2nd time and their fatal flaw in reading paperwork and food bins is because my grandmother passed away in New York and I had to make an urgent trip to go say goodbye to her. I will say on the upside the employees were always excited to see my pups, I just wish they kept the same tenacity in regard to pet safety and injures. I found out he was injured when we got home, they never mentioned it. If you’re anything like me your pets are your world and best friends, so I’m not willing to give a 3rd chance like the owner asked. This isn’t baseball we’re not playing 3 strikes in your house, this is the safety of living beings we’re talking about. As my wife and I are dog groomers this was all the more upsetting knowing the lack of safety and responsibility taking place. I pray no one else shares the experiences we have at this boarding facility.

I brought my cat here for a well needed grooming. This was his first grooming experience and I was really nervous that it was not going to be successful. I’m very grateful for the wonderful staff that made it happen. They warned me he may be agitated when I brought him home but he was happy as a clam. I think he’s pretty happy to have the mattes off of him. Thank you so much!!

This place is great! We left our 2 puppies, Rodrigo and Ranger, there for a few days and they had a blast! I was afraid that they would not enjoy themselves but when we picked them up they did not want to leave. The staff is wonderful and took exceptional care of our babies, making them feel welcome and at home. I would recommend this establishment to anyone. It has great amenities and the staff is just the best!! Thank you for taking such good care of my babies.

I am one to never leave reviews, but I honestly can’t say enough good things about Animal House. My dog is a regular for about 6 months and has boarded with them a few times, and I won’t take her anywhere else. Nicole and the staff are SO welcoming and show such enthusiasm and love every time they see my dog, as well as other regular dogs. It’s comforting to know that they care for the dogs like their own. The prices are even better (compared to other places in Wilmington). Drop off as early as 7:30 and pick up at 5:15/5:30 for 23 dollars a day, you can’t beat it. A live camera so you can see your pup having an absolute blast in the big pool or grassy fenced-in yard. On top of the high level of involvement with little holiday parties for the pups (for an extra cost of like 10 dollars) and posting “pup of the week” and happy birthday shoutouts for the dogs. 10/10 recommend to any pet owner!

Our dog Monty loves Animal House of Wilmington. He especially likes their pool. He gets so excited when I ask him if he wants to go to day camp. Their staff is exceptional, caring, and very friendly. Highly recommend for them for day care and boarding.

⚠️ BEWARE ⚠️ DO NOT SEND YOUR DOG HERE! Update 08/22/2024: Both of my dogs now have Giardia and it is highly likely that they contracted it here as they boarded for a week and that is the only place they'd been before showing symptoms. I have emailed Scott and corporate with no response on this issue from either party. Keep your puppies safe, stay far away. ________________ My dogs unfortunately boarded with Hounds Town Wilmington for a week, and they were returned to me in a shockingly disgusting state. Both dogs were covered head to toe in urine. Their fur was a slimy mess, and the urine odor was incredibly strong. One of my dogs was so matted that I had to have her shaved at the groomer. According to Scott, they keep their playrooms and townhomes “as clean as humanly possible,” but “when you have multiple high-energy dogs playing in a room together, it is impossible for them not to get dirty.” He would like you to believe that this is nothing but the result of normal dog play, which is actually insane, considering they were covered in urine, not just dirt. I understand that dogs play rough and will get dirty, but this level of filth is ridiculous. I was not expecting a squeaky clean dog, but I was definitely not expecting a dog that looked like they had been left out on the street. On top of this, my dogs became ill very shortly after their stay. Considering they had only been at Hounds Town before they began to show symptoms and were returned to me in the condition they were in, one can only assume they picked up something there. It is truly unfathomable what you are paying for with this facility. Your dog is essentially placed in an empty room with nothing but a cot and a water bowl—no toys or play equipment. They are left to roll around in urine and probably feces with several other dogs. Scott says that they are not sitting in urine all day, but he also told me that when he enters the room to film the dogs, sometimes they’re jumping in pee that they hadn’t had the chance to pick up yet, so I wouldn’t be too sure. Another excuse was that sometimes there are just too many dogs, making it humanly impossible to keep up with picking up after them quickly. If that is the case, then maybe the procedures need to be evaluated. I am not only displeased with the service I received but also with the lack of concern from Scott. He did not seem at all surprised by the fact that they were covered in urine; he was more upset that they hadn’t been given a bath to “1) wow you with service and 2) avoid just this kind of situation”—aka, hide the fact that they had been covered in pee all week and that their facility is disgusting. Ultimately, my grooming bill was covered, but my request for a partial refund in addition to covering the grooming costs was denied because apparently "they had the best of care". If you want a filthy dog, lots of stress, and extra bills to clean up the mess this place causes, then this is the perfect fit. I never leave reviews, especially not negative ones like this, but the service—or lack thereof—that I received is unacceptable. If I could leave -5 stars I would.

We had our temperment test the other day and they handled him better than other places. My pup acts like cujo when you first meet and it takes time for him to warm up..they gave him the space he needed and patience…when I picked him up he seems really happy and not stressed! (Other places he seemed a little stressed on pickup) He is now there boarding for 5 days…so I’ll review after…but so far no phone calls (which no news is good news) I’m hoping this works out long term because he loves playing there and I think the staff has been really good with him!

Hounds town is awesome ! It was my first experience recently . I was so nervous as a first time dog owner taking my pup to daycare / evaluation . The owner was so knowledgeable and helpful and explained everything thoroughly. I like that they let them play all day as opposed to only a few hours . I also got her a bath .. she was so soft and smelled great . Will definitely be going back

We adopted Cash a couple of weeks ago, and love the program that Hounds town has with the new Hanover sheriffs animal control. It seems he had a blast today at Doggie Daycare playing with the other pups. Thank you Scott and crew at Wilmington’s Hounds town.

First and foremost only place that has reasonable hours for someone in healthcare so greatly appreciated! 5 stars just for that alone, but if that wasn’t enough the staff is also 5+ stars. I struggled with what to do because my dog had SO MUCH energy and I hated to leave him anywhere since he’s my baby. Let me tell you, he LOVES it. When we get there he RUNS to the back with the staff and doesn’t even look back to say goodbye. They are clearly taking good care of him and he’s having the time of his life making it so much easier and stress free for me to drop him off. This has made our nights together relaxing and my days at work so much better knowing he’s having fun and well taken care of. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I have brought Matilda here several times now and I am happy with the service . She loves it when we come she can’t wait to get inside. When we pick her up she tries to go back in she loves to play with other dogs.

So impressed with our first visit to Hounds Town-Wilmington! Our Rocky loved his playtime! He also got the deluxe bath and he smelled so good and looked so handsome when we picked him up. He will definitely be back!

I am from Alabama, in town for work, and have had the pleasure to experience Hound Town Wilmington. Jack had not experienced daycare until now (he’s 4 years old) and he has enjoyed his time here. He’s never really liked being around other dogs, he’s more of a people lover. To see him eager to go in and play with his new doggie friends every morning made my heart smile. The staff is amazing. We look forward to visiting Hound Town Wilmington again next year.

Hounds Town is by far the best dog boarding and daycare in town. The facilities are clean, the employees are well trained and polite, the customer service is excellent. I know my dog is well cared for, safe and happy at Hounds Town. This is a top notch establishment that I can depend on to care for my dogs and to provide excellent service. Edit: added pics from our most recent stay. Domino has gone to houndstown several times this year. We are always so happy with the care and attention he gets. I highly recommend the spa package. No one trims his nails better!!

Amber made our recent trip out of town so much more enjoyable as we knew our senior pup was in good hands! Amber sent timely updates and plenty of photos. Lola & Company will be our go to per care service for all future travel!

So happy to have found Amber at Lola and company. She is definitely an animal lover. I have dogs and cats and she’s great with both. My one dog is grumpy with people and usually likes no one but really warmed up to her. We felt completely at ease while away knowing Amber was taking such good care of our animals. We loved receiving updates with pictures of our pets. Highly recommend.

It took me almost 9 years of no vacations and running home during lunch breaks before I finally broke down and gave Amber a call. I have trust issues, especially when it comes to my dogs! Since then, Amber has been coming by everyday to check on my Butters 🐾🩵. Although timid and shy at first, he is now warming up to her and I feel less stressed and guilty about caring for him. I am so lucky to have found Amber and would highly recommend her.

Lola & Company (Amber) has been pet sitting for us since we adopted Bentley almost 3 years ago. She takes such good care of our fur baby! We are confident that she loves him like we do which means we can rest assured he is in good care when we are away. As a pet owner, that is the peace you need so you can enjoy your vacation even when your fur baby cannot go with you. The reports and pictures she provides to summarize her visit are a great way to know how Bentley is doing and assure us that he is enjoying time with Amber.

Our experience with Lola & Company for cat sitting was fantastic! Amber is professional, reliable, caring and kind - definitely an animal lover. We were away for about 10 days and returned to find our cat Joey to be very healthy, happy and well-adjusted. We appreciated the pics from each visit!

Amber is amazing!! Our cat is usually very shy around strangers but he loves her!! She always provides great updates with a report of how the visit went. Kris and I whole-heartedly recommend Amber for pet sitting! She is the best of the best in Wilmington. Our dog, Bear, used to be nervous when we'd leave town. Now that he knows Amber takes care of him when we travel, he's relaxed when we leave and relaxed when we get home. This alone says so much about Amber and how much TLC she shows the animals in her care. The app used for scheduling, payment, and updates is easy to use and keeps everything well organized on both ends. Amber updates with photos included at every visit. And best of all, she offers over-night pet sitting. You can't get any better than that! Two thumbs up and five stars!

Amber was absolutely amazing. She accommodated all of our needs for our dogs. She was very friendly and even took the time to get one of our dogs who takes a minute to get used to new people extra love and time. She gave them treats and took them for walks. Alexis watched our 3 month old golden retriever puppy for a long weekend along with my boyfriends families cat and 1 year old golden retriever! She was so communicative and made us feel super comfortable leaving the pets in great hands. She also offered us a ton of tips that we still utilize today - she’s super knowledgeable and sweet! Alexis stayed at my house for a weekend to watch my sweet pup Miller while I was out of town. She did an incredible job & I could not be more pleased! She texted throughout the day(s) to update on how Miller was doing & shared lots of photos! She is very kind & goes above any beyond - she washed the bedding, brought my mail in, and took the trash out. She even left us flowers! Miller was very happy & relaxed upon my return! Will definitely be working with Alexis again :)

Alexis is THE BEST!!! There’s very few people we trust to watch our “baby” Loki, our 3-year-old German Shepard. We can always count on Alexis to give us complete peace of mind when we travel. She most recently watched him while we were away for a full week on our honeymoon, and getting pictures and knowing she was spoiling him just as we would while we were away allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our vacation. Alexis was an incredible dog sitter! Our dog Bella was the happiest that I have ever seen her when we returned. She sent us pictures of Bella relaxing at home and out on walks. I was amazed and so very pleased with how much time that Alexis spent with Bella. Alexis is a caring and loving person which definitely comes through in her dog sitting activities!!!!!

Alexis commits all the way, is completely reliable, and is particularly good at improvising to meet the needs of the pet(s). For example, our pets arrived just before we had to travel. It turned out that we were not well set up for their care and feeding, and Alexis had both the initiative and expertise to source the things we needed- ones that we are still using and appreciate. Her experience with high-need pets really showed, as she had the patience, perseverance and experience to help our pets with some major adjustments. We came home to pets who were in better shape than we left them!

We had Alexis stay in our home, and pet sit our little dog Pinot for 5 days..Alexis was Amazing… She took wonderful care of our Home & Pinot. Alexis sent pictures & updates daily.. We felt relaxed knowing everything was in such good hands!! Pinot absolutely loves her, we can’t wait to use her service again soon!! I even came home to a Beautiful card & flowers!!! We had a great experience with MaKayla and Nikki taking care of our three cats! Our cats are super spoiled and get wet food three times a day (plus they are used to my husband working from home - which is also why we can normally feed them during the day with no problems). When we go out of town, we feel bad about how much it disrupts their schedule, especially our older 14 year old girl. Both Nikki and MaKayla gave super thorough updates for each visit with tons of pictures and info about all three of them. Crystal, the owner, was really helpful when we had questions about charges and pricing. Everyone seemed professional at every step! It's the best pet sitting service we've found in Wilmington, and we've tried more than a few. We have already reached out about our next plans to get on their schedule. We will definitely use them again!

Pawsatively Golden Pet Care is an amazing pet service! Our dog, Mac, has epilepsy and requires constant supervision. Not only were they knowledgeable, they were also very understanding to his needs. Crystal and her team SPOILS him. Your pet would be lucky to have them!

We had a great first experience! From start to finish they were thorough and detailed. They came for a meet and greet where we were able to explain everything and ask questions without feeling rushed! Our dog has epilepsy and this has been the first time since it started we feel like we can relax while going on vacation. They sent frequent communication and sent a pic and message each time they gave him his meds so we could be assured he’d received it on time. We came home to a happy and healthy dog and a clean house! We have already booked them for a weekend trip and the holidays coming up.

I came up from Florida for my son’s wedding and was staying in an AIRBNB, so I needed a pet sitter. I got the Royal package and it was worth it. My wife and I have just returned from a two week trip to the UK and are so lucky to have left our dog and two cats in the care of Pawsatively Golden Pet Care. We don’t like to board our pets so having PGPC come to our house twice a day has been ideal. We couldn’t have asked for better care to be taken of our pets. We received twice daily reports of the visits (as well as photographs) which really gave us peace of mind while we were away. PGPC went above and beyond by bringing in our mail, taking the trash out and leaving the house exactly as we left it. Our pets seem better behaved than when we left! I cannot thank the PGPC team enough and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for professional pet care.

First time here… Brought our dog for a grooming & they were so fast- only approx 2 hrs until they called to pick her up. She was beautifully groomed in a doggy crate with a little sunflower bandana on waiting… She was so clean & pretty & they gave us a report on how she did…. I will return & also utilize them for their great puppy daycare & overnight care… New to the area & so happy we found them!

Communication was professional, friendly, and informative from over the phone to in-person. First day of daycare was free to see how well he would do during boarding for 2 nights. Was also able to check on him using their live web camera. Staff gave us updates when he was picked up and can’t wait for him to be boarded again. After his first day and time boarding, he was tired. I have been using Leland Pet Resort for over four years! My pets have been loving it! Recently, I had to have a last minute surgery, and Miss Dawn took care of me and managed to get my Teddy in for boarding! She took care of everything! A wonderful place for your pet with a truly knowledgeable, and professional staff! 100 stars!!!

They are great. Grooming department does the best job giving my dog a bath. She is so clean and soft after they bathe her. Everyone is extremely considerate and loving to all the animals. So glad this place exists right here in Leland.

The Pet Resort is always responsive, accommodating, loving and friendly with the pets. They do a great job at grooming my pup. Appreciate them greatly and would highly recommend.

Such love is shown by the staff at Leland Pet Resort to my Jack. He is an older dog, a 13-year old Cocker Spaniel with health issues. The only reason I did not give a 5- star rating this time is because Jack is to always get one-on-one play time. Yet, this was overlooked on his instructions. Thankfully, a staff member saw the error and corrected it a few times. (I was not charged for these, either.) The staff member was very apologetic. I will close be saying that I would recommend Leland Pet Resort to others. Jack has stayed there a number of times. One mistake is not going to change my mind. This is a caring loving staff and I feel confident in the care and attention Jack receives.

Max is a 78lb Goldendoodle who loves visiting his friends at Magnolia! The staff and service is top notch and the facility is second do none. I highly recommend using them the next time your four legged best friend needs a place to stay!

Only great things to say! MB&B accommodated our last minute booking for our tiny puppy. We had access to the cameras while she stayed, and they quickly responded to our texts checking in on her! When we picked her up, she seemed calm and happy and showed no signs that she was stressed at all over the weekend. She was CLEAN which was a huge relief based on past experiences with other facilities.. and her items were all taken care of and clean as well.

My dogs have been staying here for a decade. They cannot contain their excitement as soon as we get near the building. They are always happy and well-cared for when we pick them up. The staff knows ours dogs well, including what they like, etc. The staff are very accommodating and flexible.

My dog is in love with his day camp and overnight experiences at Magnolias! The second we cross the Isabel Holmes Bridge from Wilmington to Leland his excitement starts bc he knows we only go this way for one reason…camp! He sometimes doesn’t want to leave camp which I associate with the absolute best day of his life. The people who work here genuinely care about your dog and their happiness. Thankful to have a place I can trust and that my dog absolutely loves! Always willing to drive an hour roundtrip for this❤️

Our dog Jay has been boarded here a few times and he loves it. The daytime play days he has are fun for him too.

This place is great. our dogs have stayed here several times and they've always been well taken care of. We trust them so much that we travel to Europe and board our dogs here. We are able to watch our dogs on camera which gives us great peace of mind. The dogs get plenty of exercise and if they stay for 5 days they get a free bath. Definitely recommended.

Extremely pleasant staff. My older dog can take a while to warm up to other animals but staff was present during entire playtime and I was able to watch on webcams while halfway across country. Our stay included a complimentary bath too. My dog was happy and quite a tired pooch from her playtime. Quality and rates are great! Will use services again.

Love this place. The facility is very nice and new, and the staff is kind and professional. Boarding during hurricane season is always worrisome, but Nate assured me that they will always stay with the dogs no matter what, and their building has a generator for emergencies. A previous boarding place we used sent out emails during Florence for people to "pick up their dogs or they will be left." We obviously never returned there. Definitely use Magnolia's if you are considering daycare or boarding!

The staff is always so friendly and helpful. I know Bella is in good hands while she is there. I check her occasionally on the cameras and love seeing her interacting with the other dogs plus seeing the attention she is given by the attendants! Whenever she goes to daycare she comes home exhausted so I know she gets lots of activity while she is there.

WOW WOW WOW! All of the staff was super amazing and super friendly!!!! They sent pictures and videos! They loved spending time with my dog, and one of the employees even gave me a harness because mine broke?! Like what?! Kindness goes such a long way, and they have all of it! I will recommend this place to everyone that has a dog and I will absolutely be back there and that’s saying a lot because I’m very particular and don’t ever like to leave my dog but I had to and it was absolutely worth it! Thank you so much there you guys are the best keep up the amazing work!

My dog got bit by another dog, we had said he could not be around other dogs due to his previous owner allowing him to be attacked by their orher dogs. He gets scared of other dogs. So he should not have been around another dog to be bit at all. Our dog never ever eats away from home. We brought dry food and a can of wet for him to eat the second day. When we picked him up, the wet can was returned, no dry food. We asked about it, they said he ate all the dry food. I can say with 1000% certainty, we were being lied to. There is absolutely no way he ate all that food, or any at all. We didn’t expect him to eat, that’s just the way he is and we know that. It was the lying that was really concerning. But that isn’t all. Within a week of boarding he was at the vet with a respiratory infection. Ten days of lots of meds and rest he was better. A few days later he develops a yeast infection in his ears from the antibiotics. So a $120 boarding visit for a weekend turned into $670 and some sleepless nights.

My girls loved their time here! It was pretty pricy at the end of a 9 day stay but I've never seen my dogs more happy while they were away from home. How do I know they were happy? I got updates (report card) from the kennel while I was away. Included pictures, how their demeanor has been AND how they've been eating. Awesome facility and great staff!! **one staff member told me she loved my dog so much that she wanted to take her home!! thank you guys for taking such good care of the girls! ❤

The staff took care of my pet and ensured he was happy. I was kept abreast as to how he was doing. The cameras worked well and seeing my pet interacting with the staff made me smile. When you are out of town and miles away it’s comforting to know your pet is being well taken care of.

Amazing. I came to Wilmington and didn’t realize that the time had expired for dogs to be allowed on the beach that I went to. I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to get in anywhere as it was Memorial Day weekend, but this place was five star from the moment they picked up the phone and let me know that once I completed the intake process, I could transfer to another pet paradise in Austin where I live and I will be doing so… also considering getting dog training there. My dog was super happy when I came to pick him up and I could tell that the employees really loved spending time with him and put a lot of care and detail into the Pet report. If that wasn’t enough, they offered me a complimentary first time visit so I paid $0!! If you’re in Wilmington, don’t sleep on this place. I would definitely bring my dog back here; absolutely worth full price. 10/10

We love Pet Paradise, and our dog does too! The staff has always been very friendly, accommodating, and wonderful to our furbaby, emailing us pictures during his lodging stays and giving us a detailed update on him when we call to see how he is doing. He is always so excited when we pull into the parking lot and runs right to the staff when we enter the door, which lets me know that he is treated extremely well. We have used their services for lodging and daycare for over 3 years now, and Pet Paradise will continue to be the only place in Wilmington we trust to take quality care of our dog!

This is a great place for bringing your fur family. I have three dogs of different ages and personalities and I feel they all leave happy and well cared for. While we were in Disney for a week, they did a great job communicating anything my dogs needed and adjusted their stay accordingly. I've been to other dog daycare facilities in this area and this is by far my favorite because they keep a close eye on the dogs while playing instead of leaving them in packs unattended. The dog rooms are nice and the cameras to keep an eye on everyone is nice as well. It's not a cheap place but you get what you pay for.

Leslie has been especially attentive, making sure both cats are not only fed and comfortable but also getting plenty of playtime and affection, and lickable treats! Marla and Polly always seem so happy and relaxed when we return, which is a true testament to the level of care they receive. It's rare to find a pet sitter who genuinely loves animals and goes the extra mile to ensure they're happy and well-cared for, and Leslie does just that. Leslie is very meticulous and detail oriented. She took notes on meal preferences, medication times, sleep schedules and the quirks of my cats. I left for vacation feeling very relaxed about leaving my cats with her. She sent me daily updates and pictures. She is intuned to your pet’s psychological needs as well. I was surprised to find my skittish cat’s bed drenched in dry catnip and her resting blissfully.
