Kyle was such a great sitter for our two cats, Buffy and Milo, while we were gone for a month hiking the John Muir Trail. He proved very self-sufficient, which was super important for us since we were hiking and out of cell service for most of the time. Something that stood out was his adaptability. Diana and Stan were excellent sitters. Friendly and easy going, they took very good care of the dogs. The garden was kept in good shape, and Stan was always ready to give a helping hand, whatever the problem I hope to see them again soon. We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Kate was an absolute dream and was the best pet sitter I could have possibly asked for! Kate was extremely trustworthy, communicative, and reliable, and provided frequent updates while I was away. She left my apartment spotlessly clean and even took the initiative to fix my wobbly towel bar. Finally, Kate took excellent care of my cat Daisy and I came home to a happy and content cat! Kate was an excellent house sitter and pet sitter. She was thoughtful, sensitive, and attuned to our cats and the particulars of our house. It was really easy to communicate with her and she was responsible and conscientious about everything. When we came back our cats seemed unfazed by our return which was a great sign and it was obvious that she spent lots of time with them and gave them lots of love. The house was spotless on our return and she even alerted us to a health matter in one of our cats. She sent lots of cute updates and was easy going when we messed up a logistical detail on our end. Just a delightful person all around. I'd love to have her come again and if you have a chance to have her housesit, jump on it. She is a gem.

Angie and her husband Joe were a great fit for our house and pet sitting needs! They kept in communication with us before our vacation started, and were able to arrive a little early so we could walk them through how various systems worked and where controls were located. Our dog bonded with Angie very quickly and I think he was hoping she would stay after we returned home :) We got regular updates and pet photos while we were traveling. Although we were out of cell phone range for several days, we never had a doubt that things at home would be just fine while they were there! They were also very flexible and understanding. Due to our flight schedule we arrived home in the middle of the night. Angie was able to feed and walk our dog, clean up and leave in the morning without waking us up! The house was left clean, the garden was thriving and our pup was happy. We are happy, and would be happy to have them back again as sitters anytime.

We were so happy to have Kyle as our house sitter for two weeks. Besides taking great care of our pets and our house, he was very accommodating. We were always able to get in touch with him if we needed to, and he agreed to take on some extra plant watering’s when the weather made a sudden change. Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish. We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again. Excellent staff and facility. We bring our high energy pup here weekly and she comes home happy and tired. We were nervous to bring our high energy, covid herding pup to a facility, but the staff assured and demonstrated they are well versed with all dogs and create an environment for pups to thrive. Recently we boarded our pup for two weeks while on vacation and never once had anxiety about if she was doing okay or not. We called several times to check in and recieved updates on how she was doing. When we picked her up she was happy, tired, and healthy. While I wish there was more real-time check in available or regular photo posting, Country K9 has been an amazing place for our high energy herding dog.

Left my dog there for 2 weeks last year. Her bed was soiled when I got her back. They said she had an accident. She never had an accident before. She was sore too. Looked like she was not taking out for walks.
I bring both of my dogs there for grooming(nails only they are shorthaired), but every time they go there, they do an excellent job clipping their nails! Everyone is so friendly! (Even the pups). First off I was told while making my cats appointment she would be getting a bath and brushing for 45$. When I arrived at my scheduled appointment, there was 5 dogs roaming freely in the room, very scary for a cat! I was then told she wasn't getting a bath that they use some foam stuff. I'll be honest my cat was cleaner before arriving here. This "bath" left a residue on my cats fur that left my hand feeling dirty after petting her. This may be a good place to bring your dog's but I wouldn't recommend bringing your feline fur babies! Very disappointed!
Very nice staff, great pricing. My dog was a little bit of an anxious dog, and the groomer talked to me about it along with giving tips on things that I can do to help for next time. The grooming was great, especially for my dog being anxious. I hope the next time I bring him here he behaves much better with the tips I was given.
We are 'snowbirds' and finding a groomer for our 2 yr old Havanese has been a challenge. K9 is near my daughter's home and was highly recommended by a friend. I phoned for an appt and was booked within a few days. My pup has a little anxiety with new people, they were very understanding. When I picked him up, he was glad to see me but didn't seem stressed at all. I loved the cut, they did a great job. I was very pleased with the whole 'first time' experience!
Colby seemed a little stressed when I picked him up. He sat with his head in the corner of the car. Drank water like he had not had any the 4hrs he was there. Then of course it all came back up. I think having him in the reception area with 5 large dogs and 5 adults and dogs coming and going was overwhelming. This was his first time ever at a daycare. When we checked out no one bothered to say how he did while at the facility.
K9 and cats is a wonderful place to board your fur babies and to have them groomed. Dawn loves the dogs and our dogs are kept in a monitored social group rather than kenneled 24 hours a day. We have our Goldens washed and shaved and they always look spectacular. It doesn't matter what is going on with the dogs, Dawn can handle it. Our dogs are always well cared for and safe.

In from out of town needing my small dog's nails trimmed. Lucky enough to be able to get an appointment on a Sunday afternoon. They took the dog in and she was returned in less than 5 minutes. Beautifully done! Fairly priced. She was calm as well which means the most. 3 locations in Maine. With Self-washing stations to bath your own dogs comfortably with everything you need available. Appointment necessary.
The self cleaning system is great, also has all the things you need to leave your dog nice and fresh, highly recommend if your out of state.
The I owner's are top notch and treat the dogs well. Excellent grooming!

Customer service here is fantastic. I use the self dog wash and it is very convenient and has everything you could need. There is a waiting list to have my pup groomed by the staff and I can understand why. Staff is very friendly and caring. Highly recommend!
Have been bring my Cairn terrier there for a long time. They did good work. Well our dog got bred and could not be groomed during pregnancy and at least 6 weeks after giving birth. Called and left several messages about bringing her in to be groomed. They never returned calls. Called and the guy said they couldn't take her as it has been to long and took newer clients in. I guess being a long time customer means nothing to them. Their customer service is pathetic.

We took our medium haired cat in to be groomed, We were nervous leaving her as it was our first time having her groomed. When we arrived back to pickup our cat, she was very happy, Looked and smelled great. We made another appointment to keep her grooming maintained. Great customer service, Easy to contact and quickly responses to any questions. Very clean and professional shop. A+ service. Will continue to recommend to friends and family.

Danielle is absolutely amazing! My fur baby was very scared to get away from me, but he is in love with her! I know he is always in great hands! Both my dogs go loyally every 6 weeks! I love all the little accessories they come home with! I also bring my parents labs there to get their nails clipped and to go through the doggy wash! Do not go any place else!
