Cooper loves her... it shows when I see them together and how he checks the guest room after she leaves. He's healthy and happy and that's what really counts, right? John and Haley took great care of our pets while we were gone for a week vacation. They sent lots of pictures of the dogs out and about adventuring and exploring. I was very happy and at peace to know that my dogs were in great hands. Their dog seemed to get along well with our dogs too which was a bonus for play time. They did everything we asked them to including stripping the sheets, washing towels, etc. Our only complaint was that our floors were pretty dirty when we got home and a few items were left on around the house. Other than that, they took great care of animals and did a great job keeping us in the loop with all of their adventures.

She sent daily photos (we love photos and asked for them) and even took our dog on a great hike. Our pets were happy and our home was clean and just like we left it on our return. Sandra was so very wonderful and accomodating. She took great care of our house and plants (she was attentive to one i had forgotten about on my deck and watered it back into flowering health:) and my cat! he was happy and well adjusted upon our return. I appreciated that she was willing to accomodate and help with some remaining construction people coming in to complete a job. She kept in touch as needed, was responsive when i reached out and i felt good being able to relax in trust with her being there for the10 weeks we were away! Angela did a great job caring for Willie for 10 days while we were out of town. She was easy to communicate with and kept us informed about Willie, along with sending photos of him out on walks and at the beach. Angela was very accomodating when we needed to come home a day early - Thank you! Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. Angie and her husband Joe were a great fit for our house and pet sitting needs! They kept in communication with us before our vacation started, and were able to arrive a little early so we could walk them through how various systems worked and where controls were located. Our dog bonded with Angie very quickly and I think he was hoping she would stay after we returned home :) We got regular updates and pet photos while we were traveling. Although we were out of cell phone range for several days, we never had a doubt that things at home would be just fine while they were there! They were also very flexible and understanding. Due to our flight schedule we arrived home in the middle of the night. Angie was able to feed and walk our dog, clean up and leave in the morning without waking us up! The house was left clean, the garden was thriving and our pup was happy. We are happy, and would be happy to have them back again as sitters anytime.

Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.

I've used Schreiber tails for boarding, training, and doggy day care. The care my dogs have received is stellar! The facilities are clean, secure, and the booking process is extremely convenient. Staff is knowledgeable and great with my enthusiastic large breed rescue. I don't trust my pets with many people but absolutely enjoy having such a great service in Winston!
We took our puppy to the puppy training classes. The trainer, Lauren Schreiber, did a great job. The classes were structured and timely. She provided examples by using the puppies in the class and provided written handouts detailing all of the training exercises to practice at home. All of the commands were covered along with other useful tips. There was puppy playtime in each class to help with socialization. I would highly recommend this class for everyone!
We love Schreiber Tails! I took my puppy there for 2 rounds of training classes which were very helpful. Then I hurt my ankle and we signed her up for daycare- what an amazing service. It was affordable and extremely helpful getting her energy out and continuing socializing her. Plus I loved getting the report cards of my pup having fun while I was at work :) Lauren and her staff are all friendly and great to work with. Highly recommended!

Wonderful place to take your pups! Finally we have an indoor area to take dogs that's safe to play. The owners are so nice and smart too. They do more than just indoor play. Training, boarding, daycare and just provide a warm welcoming environment.
Our little sesame bagel is often quite worried about being left alone, but we put him in daycare here for a day trip that we couldn't bring the puppy on and wow was it great. We knew they would be great because she was partly in charge of our puppy training class, but he happily napped, played with other dogs (though before he was shy) and had a lot of fun. I was nervous about having to board him for our vacation, but now I'm excited! As the only dog in the house, he usually doesn't get much time with other dogs and im sure he can't wait to go back and play. If our puppy could have fun here, I'm sure yours could too.

When I chose my first fur baby as an adult, I quickly realized I was in over my head. My pup and I attended puppy classes in which we both learned a lot. Barkley attends daycare at least once a week and has been boarded while out of town. I recommend Schreiber Tails to everyone!

They take good care of our Artemis. She is a 4.6 pound dog and they keep her in a cat kennel. We love the care they give her. They do not seem bothered by us asking how she is doing everyday she is there. She is so spoiled by Douglas County Pet Lodge. We have had her there several times over the last few years. They have met my expectations and more when it comes to taking care of our dogs Boba and Bojack for a week. It was my first time bringing the pups to a boarding place and I was a little nervous but they were able to make the experience easier on me by sending me pictures of them almost daily. Can’t appreciate the Douglas County Pet Lodge enough ❤️
This was the first time we had Bandit stay at the Pet Lodge. The staff was very knowledgable and friendly. We were sent videos of Bandit playing which showed him having a good time with other dogs. We will be taking him back in a few more weeks. I would give more that 5 stars if i could. Highly recommend.

We have used the boarding and daycare services at Douglas County Pet Lodge. My Pup is always happy when dropped off and enjoys her time at the Lodge. The staff obviously cares about the animals in their care and are happy to send updates while we can't be with our fur baby.
Our little dog loves the Douglas County Pet Lodge. He comes home after a kennel stay happy and not as ‘clingy’ as when he stays at other places. Andrea is friendly to the four legged guests and their people! The grounds are clean and there are plenty of furry friends every time we’ve been.
The Douglas County Pet Lodge took care of our 10 mo. Puppy for a week while we were out of town. They shared videos of her with us periodically while we were away and took such great care of her. She had no anxiety or transition problems. Just a happy puppy getting to play with new friends. I can’t recommend them enough.they’re absolutely fantastic!

Every time we leave our Tucker, he comes home very happy and content. The staff listen to our specific needs and limited/alternate playtime requests. Tucker is always so excited to go back and loves the ladies attention! We will continue to use them because we want to have peace at mind when we are out of town that our fury family member is the happiest he can be.
We just boarded our three precious kiddos (2 cats and one dog) at Camp Kodah Bed & Biscuit and they couldn't have been more amazing! Throughout the time that we were gone, we were texted pictures or videos of our sweet fur babies to let us know they were doing fine which helped us enjoy our vacation more. Our animals were treated with love and we would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to board their pet. This will definitely be out go to place from now on.
Boarded our senior kitty, Abby, for 3 days. The room was clean and the staff were exceptionally tentative, especially given that our kitty needs medications twice a day. They let me plug in her warming bed to ensure her comfort. I am extremely grateful I have a place to bring Abby so that I can occassionally leave knowing she is in good hands. I loved this place until I ended up having to bring my dog to have an emergency surgery for a foxtail she inhaled at their location. I feel they shouldn’t have such dangerous weeds in a place dogs have access to.

I cannot say enough about this place. This is as the first time my pets have ever been away for me in 11 years. As you can imagine I had huge anxiety is about leaving them. Canine Country Club staff put my mind at ease and have taken such good care of them. They have a spacious area for them to get plenty of exercise. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without them. I would highly recommend this place to anybody looking for dog boarding or daycare.
We came in out of town for a wedding. I was able to book over the phone very easily with polite and friendly staff. The property is high on a hill with a lot of happy dogs. Check in was a breeze (make sure you have your paperwork) and facility was clean. Our dog only stayed one night but when we picked her up she was happy, clean, and a tired pup from playing. Thanks for taking great care of our dog.

My two dogs are frequent doggy day care attendees and they love it. The staff are all so friendly and give updates on how the dogs did that day. We feel 100% safe leaving our dogs in their care for the day or overnight.
These ladies take such good care of both my cat and dog when I am out of town. They have a separate area for kitties stocked with scratchers, and it's nice that the cats get to socialize and are not locked in a cage all day. My animals are always ready and excited when we arrive at the Country Club. I always recommend it to my fellow animal lovers.

Kendra is amazing. I work long odd hours and she had been able to work with my schedule to help keep my to jack Russells from going crazy. My babies have a few special needs and she has been so great about keeping me updated on how they are when I'm at work. They love waking with her. I have and do recommend her services. She was a vet tech previously so I feel very confident with her knowledge and skill. She's been very friendly but also personal with her intake.

My pup, Opal, is a pretty skiddish, shy girl and is very attached to me. I had to travel for the holidays and we tried a few different daycare/boarding facilities beforehand to see where she’d be most comfortable for multiple days while I was gone. The staff at Lone Pine were amazing- so kind, understanding, and reassuring. Opal did better at Lone Pine for a day and an overnight stay than at other places, so I decided to board her there for my 7- day trip. I called every day while I was gone to check in on how she was doing and the staff was again, so kind and reassuring. My flight plans also changed and I called to let them know and they were easily accommodating. I picked her up and she was her happy, normal self! Typically after being boarded she’s often shaky, shedding like crazy from being stressed, doesn’t eat much while she’s there, etc. At Lone Pine she did amazingly! She ate her food, didn’t stress shed, & was her happy self after we got home. I cannot recommend Lone Pine enough!!

Active pets. They dont just sit in kennels... yet kept safe with 14 exercise yards.
The staff was nice when dropped my dogs off. The guy I picked him up from was kind of short and could tell was in a rush to leave. I was a little blindsided by them adding $25 extra for picking my dog up at 5:30pm. I called and talked about doing this multiple times with different people and was never told this. Overall I didn’t mind because my dog needed this. I am questioning the amount of exercise and attention he got though. Which was the whole point of taking him here, I had the option to leaving him home. I just wished they would have communicated the price better so I could have budgeted and not felt cheap when asking to clarify. I am not sure if I will be back sadly and we were kind of excited about this place. My trust just wasn’t earned and that’s important in this industry.
We've boarded our dogs here several times over the last few years. They always come back safe and in good condition. Kennel facilities are air conditioned to keep your pet comfortable in the summer.
We kept our dogs here for about 10 days. The price was very reasonable and they took such good care of them! The staff here is very sweet and explained everything to us, our dogs really seemed to love the staff members and to me that's a great sign! Will be using them again in the future!

Viva la Pooch in Winston is an excellent dog grooming salon and worth the drive from Roseburg and surrounding areas. Jennings took the time to give my Cavachon, Willis, the haircut I asked for. I am way beyond pleased with Jennings. The salon is lovely and the service is excellent at Viva la Pooch.
