Michele and her team were amazing with our dog Molli. She spent the night with her even though we had lost power! Constant communication and lots of love and exercise for the dog!!

Michele from Mainely Sitters just took care of my cat for a day and a half, when I had to go out of town. My cat was in the best of hands! Michele was so responsible, caring, and helpful. She even managed to get him to take some medicine. I also very much appreciated it that when my flight was canceled, I was able to reschedule for pet care for the next day. The charge is also very reasonable. And the pictures she texted me helped me to see how my cat was doing. Thanks so much!

We were one of Michele's first clients when she started and to see them go into a tightknit group has been a pleasure. We recently had a family emergency in the overnight and they were here in couple of hours, the stay extended out to several weeks and they accommodated us the entire time. Owner was fast, able to multitask and prioritize my shorter visit! As well as friendly and professional for my puppy and dog. I appreciated how she changed her strategy to keep my dogs comfortable (one hates noises and the puppy had never had her nails trimmed). Also inexpensive! Perfect experience all around.

They were the only groomer to take my dogs. I've been there twice before when we visit. i called them the last time we were there and they remembered my boys and were more than happy to take them. Maybe I had customer status, I'd like to think so. Good place to go, they are great.

They put dogs into crates. It seems to be part of their regular routine. They did this with our dog during two separate visits. The first time he came home with an abrasion on his face after being in the crate. For the second visit, we asked them to keep him out of the crate, and they either completely ignored us or failed to communicate our wishes to the staff who were working that day. Now he has a much more severe abrasion on his nose, lost a lot of skin, and we're battling an infection with antibiotics. This is going to take weeks to heal. If your dogs are uncomfortable being in crates for any length of time, do NOT bring them to this place!

This place is amazing!! Our four furrbabies boarded here for a month while we were under contract for our home and moving. They were treated with such love and care from the owner and staff as if they were theirs. We were able to visit, and enjoy the space. So friendly here. I recommend every one going there. Savannah the owner may be young, but she has a heart of gold, and a fantastic personality. Thank you for being so fantastic!! Izzy, her children Luna & Yammie, and Uncle Roscoe in the back. XO

Has always taken amazing care of our old needy dog! Our 15yo dog has epilepsy, and takes many medications. They are super accommodating to his needs, even helped out after a surgery. I don't know where we'd be without Wagon Tails!! Our dog always comes home happy and tired.

Wagon tails has been the best dog daycare i’ve been to. It’s locally owned on a large farm with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to run & romp around. My dog Maisy just can’t wait to get through their door every time I bring her, she loves all the people that work there each person is always sweet and welcoming, you can tell they take good care of each dog that comes through by how they are with them and how your dog reacts with excitement when they’re there. Very caring and understandable people, I recently had a last minute surgery out of town and they were able to make a place for Maisy to stay for the day and over night, as well as they checked back in with me and offered to take her another night until I was better. They send me report cards when I request them to my phone with a picture and description of how she was and what she learned. She’s still a pup so they work with her and train her without an extra charge which is a huge help. Any time I have a question or need to make a booking they’ve gotten back to me within minutes and are very accommodating. Don’t hesitate to bring your dog here, your pup will love you for it!

Georgie had to stay away as I was sick, and he missed his Wagon Tails friends so much he dragged me to the car when it was time to go back.

The best place ever for our dogs, absolutely. They’re happy, healthy, loved and cared for - they can’t wait to go there in the morning and practically knock us over trying to get in the car. The staff are wonderful and handle them extremely well - very highly recommended!

Our Boston Terrier who has anxiety/stranger issues stayed with the Wagon Tails team while we were on vacation and she came home an extremely happy and changed (for the good) little lady. She is not as afraid of strangers, her general basic training is improved and she plays even better with other dogs. Highly recommend this great team!

Staff has been great with our dogs and you can tell they really care about the dogs they work with. Staff has always been great and accommodating. Best part, the dogs always come home exhausted from a full day of play!

AJ Pet Sitting is my go to pet sitter. I make frequent trips out of state; mostly planned in advance, but sometimes last minute. Allyson has always been able and willing to accommodate my needs for pet sitting. She is great with my rambunctious pups (2 Weimaraners and a lab mix) and I trust they are in good care with her and her team. I love that she send updates and photos while I’m away. Highly recommended and grateful for her services.

AJ's has been my pet sitter for over a year. Allyson the owner is a true "life saver" to my dog and cat. She is timely, responsible, and my pets adore her. She comes daily, does over nights, and has filled in while on vacation. She has taken them to the vet during emergent situations when I could not be there. She is able to administer meds if needed, has insights to some of my behavior questions.There is nobody I trust more than her with them.I believe my pets would choose her over me too, she is more fun. I highly recommend her for your furry "loved ones".

Allyson and her team have been walking my dog, Honey weekly for over 5 years. They are great with Honey who is strong and energetic and even take her to the dog park. Allyson is flexible when my schedule changes and she has a great sense of humor which I appreciate! Honey and I happily give AJ pet sitting a 5 paw rating.

We vacationed to Boothbay Harbor with our dog and thought it would be a good idea to get daycare while we did some sightseeing and dining. We filled out the application and met Carole for a dog evaluation. Our dog was accepted and spent two days in daycare, and we were thrilled that our dog had a great time socializing with the staff and other dogs. We were very pleased to meet Carole and learn from her expertise. Her caring and understanding of dogs and her clients were evident very quickly upon meeting her and touring her facility. Her staff members were very professional and knowledgeable as well. Our dog had a wonderful time at Boothbay Canine Daycare, and we were 100% pleased with the whole experience.

Our pup, a four-year-old goldendoodle, goes to daycare twice a week at Boothbay Canine and he loves it. He is very energetic and 'needs' to go to camp - it makes him, and US, so happy. He plays for hours and then is so chill when he gets home. He has lots of friends at camp and gets so excited when we pull the car into the drive. He doesn't look back. Carole, Heather, Joy, Thomas and the entire staff know their dogs so well and their genuine care for them is very apparent. Highly recommend.

If I were somebody's dog, this is where I would want to be when my people can't take me with them! Carole and her staff provide clean, comfortable accommodations and kind care for boarding dogs. Plus, during the day, there's doggy daycare, so staying at BBC is like sleep away dog camp. We, and our small terrier, are big fans.

The team at Boothbay Canine was great! My little boy was a first timer and fell in love with Carole immediately. Not only did she give him great care all day, but he hung out with her after the other dogs left and “helped her clean up.” It was basically solo, extended playtime - what a great experience! Was planning a vacation in Boothbay so I contacted Boothbay Canine a few weeks in advance regarding daycare and they said as long as I filled out their forms and provided a shots record they would be more then happy to accommodate us. I emailed all the paperwork and told them what days I would like to drop my dog off and was told no problem. Come the day to drop him off there were no problems at all. Carole gave us a tour of the facility and my dog just ran off with the other dogs. He enjoyed it so much we brought him back another day. Very friendly staff and clean facility. Will definitely bring him back next year.

We boarded our two dogs here last weekend and had a wonderful experience. The facility is extremely clean and clearly well cared for. The facility is set up with dog's interests in mind and my dogs loved it there. Carole was great. Even our dog who is very afraid of people warmed up and would let Carole pet her.
