I use this place as my go-to because my pup just loves it here. I also love how they have the dogs playing with each other for most of the day and take pictures to show how the pups are enjoying themselves! When I come in to drop off and pick, the staff is very personable and has everything ready.

Paws and Claws is awesome, so glad we found them and have a place like this to take our dog to play and have fun during the day. He’s made a ton of friends and is excited to go back every time! Highly recommend.

My girls haven't stayed there yet. The service I received showed up with no appointment was excellent. I look forward to trusting my girls with them in the future!

Sadie Mae, my GSD, absolutely loves going to daycare to play with all of her friends. The staff are superb. They are very attentive to the needs of our four legged babies. We are also taking the advanced obedience classes with Joshua right now. He is a great trainer. He just has a way with the dogs that they want to listen to please him. I highly recommend this place for all of your boarding, grooming and obedience training needs. You won't be disappointed!

Hank and Ben have been hoing to Paws and Claws their whole lives. They are treated like royalty and get so excited when when we pull into the parking lot. Their prices are amazing, and their level of care and concern puts them ahead of any competition. I honestly dont know what I would do without them. They have let my dogs come by and play on short notice and have gotten me out of a jam many times.

Visited to check it out for future daycare for my pups. They assess all dogs before accepting them, so I feel confident my dogs will have fun AND be safe. Their indoor kennels don’t face across from other kennels, which minimizes indoor barking. They have a good air circulation system. They have multiple outdoor areas for different dog personalities and sizes. I watched for a while before I even went in and 100% of dogs arriving were VERY excited to be there, and dogs can’t fake that. There were a LOT of pups arriving and the lady at the front desk knew ALL of the dogs’ names!

This is my dog's second home. The owners and people there are top notch. They take very good care of my Belle. As we drove away, we saw her outside playing with the other dogs. She adjusts very well in that environment We are pleased with all the care she receives from them

The dogs outside weren't watched very well. I kept seeing 2 dogs ganging up on a slightly smaller dog. I yelled at them a few times and I yelled at the person who was supposed to be keeping order. Plus it was way too hot to have these dogs outside in my opinion

9-18-24I would like to edit this review based on what happened tonight when I picked Dune up from doggie daycare, the very nice gal at the front desk whom I apologize, I don't know your name, let me know that Mr. Marc noticed a small scab on dunes ear, I replied that I had noticed it and that he got it while we were out hiking, she was glad that I knew about it and was concerned that it had happened there, I replied it did not. As I was driving away I was so impressed that they noticed things like this and are quick to let you know, yet another reason why I absolutely trust them with my furry child. There is a lot of negativity in this world and I just wanted to take this time tonight to praise a great employee and great customer service. Kudos!!!!! Wonderful place, Dune absolutely loves going there, they take great care of him. I used them for my previous dog for kenneling for business trips and after I got over my fear of leaving him with someone else and trusting them I won't look back. They do a great job. Currently I leave Dune for daycare and he loves it. Thanks

This FAMILY run business is the BEST! We have used the Daycare program and the Overnight Boarding in the past few years and I can tell you that the level of customer service has been top notch. The owners respond asap, communicate every detail, address my concerns and are kind, caring and compassionate to our furry friends. The facility is Clean, Modern and safe. Our puppies are excited to go and that means everything to me. I am glad to see this family business is still providing excellent customer service and safe, affordable pet care in Billings, MT Give them a try, I am very impressed.

I love this place almost as much as my dog Franklin. He stays here every time I have to go out of town and they take amazing care of him and the staff is very accommodating friendly and my dog gets to meet a lot of other dogs. He plays his heart out and comes home happy and clean. They’ve got great grooming services too.

I have utilized grooming, boarding, and daycare services for my girl through Big Sky Pet Resort and have never had any issues. She absolutely loves it and gets excited as soon as she knows where she’s going! The owners and employees are extremely kind, caring, and easy to work with. They are also great about posting daycare pictures on Facebook. Highly recommend!

Well staffed facility with big-hearted employees. My dog came home from a 4 night stay happy and clean looking. Will recommend to family and friends. I appreciated the Facebook photos to check-in on our fur baby. Also, appreciated the no budge policy on up-to-date vaccines being required as well as flea and tick checks before playing with other pups.

Once a year I have to board my pup with these guys. Always friendly and Betty seems to love it there. I really like that they do a doggy daycare service and run her around with other dogs. Prices are very fair too.

All staff was super friendly and professional. We were given a written evaluation of her performance when we arrived back to pick our dog up. She was happy and worn out!!!

When our normal place for boarding was closed we chose big sky pet resort for our first boarding with Princess Sparkles. Very affordable and the staff was fantastic!!! We will definitely be back!

We recently boarded our two dogs ages 8 and 15 with Big Sky Pet Resort. They listened to our concerns and were accommodating to the best of their ability to make our older dog as comfortable as can be. Both dogs came home happy and healthy. We couldn’t be happier with how well our girls were treated. We will definitely be using Big Sky again!

Adelle and BEST Pet Care, has been wonderful and easy to work with! I first found them on Google search for doggie daycare, during my 3 months work contract. My job required early mornings, late days, and unexpected overnighters… Adelle and her staff were able to accommodate my every obstacle. Mike and Adele are amazing! They worked with my crazy schedule and communicated very well. Not one day went by were I had an ounce of concern leaving my baby at day care and as a dog mom it so very much appreciated! Gino loved going to best pet care it was even hard to get him to come home some days because he didn’t want to leave his buddies! 10/10 recommend ☺️

Highly recommend!!! We boarded our pups with Mike for a couple of days. We have a 6 month old Boxer and almost 2 year old Rottweiler. Mike was great with our pups. He even kept his older dog separated from our 2 pups and his younger dog so that the one young ones could play together. Mike kept us up to date with photos and texts of how things were going. They had a blast and came home so tired!! We will definitely trust Mike again to take our pups!!

Adelle and her team have been fabulous with our dogs. We have two labs that have both seen their fair share of medical issues and surgeries over the years and Adelle and Mike have both been fabulous at managing their meds and needs. They’re very consistent. I never have to worry while I’m gone if my dogs will be taken care of or not. Cannot recommend BEST pet care enough. They’re absolutely wonderful.

I always have a peace of mind when I’m away because I know my dogs are being cared for and loved on to the fullest. The facility is lovely and Rusty is a great individual! Staff is friendly and Rusty does great and communicating quickly via email! You can tell he loves what he does. We have only had the initial evaluation for our dog performed here in which we received valuable information. The approximate one hour evaluations are scheduled in advance and we finally got in due to a cancellation. Unfortunately, the availability has not lined up quite yet for us to be able to trial a doggy day care session or boarding visit. The month of June and July are quite busy for most places around here to be fair. Perhaps one day, we will be able to try them if we return to Billings.

Such a great place! We recently boarded our anxious dog for two weeks and he was so happy! We got regular updates and he got lots of attention and play time. I love that we could bring his own bed and toys. Our dog was happy and healthy when we picked him up. And the staff followed up a few days later to make sure he was doing ok. Highly recommend them as a vet and a place to board your pet.

We love Dr. Rob!!!! He is amazing with all of our dogs. He went above and beyond teaching me about diabetes and how to give shots to our late dog Toby. Now with our new GSD's he is just as helpful, caring and kind.

I love having the option of Doggie Day Care for my dog Jaxon when I am in town visiting family . . .makes it really easy!!

I strongly advise against calling this establishment. The experience was profoundly negative, and there was a complete lack of empathy towards the pets involved.

The docs and techs listen to you and your concerns. They don’t listen to reply, they listen to understand and treat. Great, friendly place. I haven’t tried the daycare or boarding yet.

We love this Center and Hunter really likes the Doctors and Staff! They are really patient with Hunter. We also love the calls to checkup on him. Fabulous place!

From asking question over the phone to making an appointment, to being greeted kindly and received with enthusiasm, to then being treated with care, respect and thoroughness by experienced, knowledgeable and kind support aide and doctor, we can say that going to Big Sky Pet Center was an overall excellent choice. We have had a dog for forty years so we’ve had many Vet Clinic adventures; none have been as professional, budget friendly and patiently considerate to both us, the humans and our dog, as the service-oriented doctor and staff at Big Sky. The facility is clean, spacious and welcoming. The location allows us to get some errands done while we’re in the area. We appreciate the folks at this business and we will make Big Sky our go to Pet Center from now on!

They have taken excellent care of my tiny rescue kitten! He was very malnourished when I adopted him and they have helped me take proper care of him. The front office is wonderful, cheerful in person, friendly on the phone, and competent! Thanks for the great care!

Wonderful veterinary service! Dr Rob and his partners have provided care to our 2 cats and 4 dogs. All but 1 is a rescue and all different breeds. They give a level of care beyond my words. 4 of our pets have lived a full life, with dignified, loving care all the way to the rainbow bridge. We have 2 still with us receiving loving, knowledgeable care. The entire staff are excellent!

I absolutely love Big Sky Pet Center, our beloved fur-baby was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma and they have made experience as pleasant as it could be. All of the doctors on staff are amazing! Dr. Rob and the staff go above and beyond to communicate before and after his treatments to check on our pooch, and are very caring. I love this place and cannot recommend it enough.

Luna’s Kozy Critter Cottage is PHENOMENAL!!! The best one yet our fur babies have been to. This was the longest we have ever left them and it was stress free on us knowing how well they were being taking care of. We got daily updates and photos/videos. One way you can tell a dog trust you is when they are out cold sleeping on their back. Our Meeko which is pretty skeptical, was so comfy and trusting of Lisa and her family that he slept on his back just about every night. Nala also found her a new best friend and snuggle buddy while we were gone. They were treated just like they care for their own. They were taken on daily walks and even a few hikes. They also worked with their obedience training. They had a fenced in backyard they could access on their on through the doggy door anytime they wanted. They also met new fur friends they could play with. I cannot say enough how thankful that our fur babies were in such great hands!! I would send them back again hands and recommend any of my family and friends to Luna’s Kozy Critter Cottage!!!

So glad I found Luna’s Kozy Critter Cottage!! Luna is the gentlest big dog ever, and Caretaker Lisa is just amazing. She offered a meet n greet for my little dog to help her feel welcome and comfortable around the other critters, and she gives them all plenty of love and attention every day…pictures included!! Couldn’t be happier with my experience and will always rely on Lisa to look after my little furry one when I’m gone. 5 stars, highly recommend

I was apprehensive about leaving Woody with a stranger. But after our meet and great, I felt comfortable with Lisa and her home. Woody stayed with Lisa and family for ten days. I had daily photos and updates on his progress with larger dogs. He was happy and enjoying his new friends. I recommend Lisa take care now.

I can’t say enough good things about Luna’s Kozi Critter Cottage. She made my Nietzsche feel right at home and kept in touch with me throughout the whole stay with pictures and texts. I have already booked another stay. I can’t emphasize enough how Lisa went above and beyond to give me peace of mind during my fur baby’s stay. I would give 10stars if it was an option!

My chihuahuas, Cupcake and Lucky, spent the last few days. Throughout the week Lisa would send pictures and it was obvious they were being well taken care of. We had a meet and greet and I really appreciate the set up.

Our girl always has the bestest time with Kelley and the crew. I have all the confidence in the world in Kelley that she will take great care of our girl when we are gone so I can just enjoy myself where we have to venture without our pup.

We started off leash hikes with Kelley when our male boxer was only 1 and he loved it. He would come back one exhausted pup! Murph is now 7 and still LOVES his time with Kelley each week. Kelley’s communication and pick up/drop off service make this a perfect experience for our family!

The absolute BEST!

We have boarded our dogs here twice and could not be more happy with Animal Pet Lodge! We've boarded for just a few nights as well as almost a week and we loved the webcams, Facebook posts and felt safe leaving both of them. We have an older lab and a high energy young pup, so we added Day Camp for him, and we are so happy we did! The staff was friendly and we would highly recommend Animal Lodge!

I’ve boarded my dog here roughly ten times over the past year, and once left her for a full week. Tillie LOVES it here. The staff are always very friendly, and we check the webcams every day and see their Facebook posts and have always been happy. We’ll keep bringing Tillie back for sure.

I have nothing but praise for Animal Lodge Pet Resort. I boarded my one year old German Shepard here for a week while I was away on vacation. My German Shepard is a great dog, but he’s attached at my hip. I was worried about how he’d react to a boarding environment. When I called Animal lodge, I was greeted by a very helpful staff member who recommend we introduce my pup to the boarding facility, slowly. We started with an afternoon and the next day he stayed overnight. He did excellent both days. He was so excited to go back the second day, I could hardly contain him. The following week he was dropped off for his long stay. Once again, his excitement took hold and I could hardly keep him from dragging me to his “daycare.” The staff told me I could check on him as often as possible, even get text and picture updates if I’d like! I asked if he could be groomed before I took him home and the staff got him scheduled. I picked him up, after not seeing him for 7 days - he was so happy, well mannered, and he looked AMAZING! I will definitely be taking him here more often! The rates are great. Staff is super accommodating and friendly, and my dog is always excited to go back! Thanks Animal Lodge Pet Resort for taking care of my furbaby!

My dogs love day camp! The people working there are always pleasant and helpful with ready smiles. They know me by name and my dog’s. It’s so handy to get them groomed while there. They can even get shots when due. They are very diligent about letting me know. I like being able to check in on their play through the video feed. I feel good about them getting exercise with play while I do my errands instead of being bored and stuck at home. Absolutely no complaints.

I have been taking my pup here for about 5 months. I used their boarding facility for the 3rd time from Nov 23 - Nov 29 and he is a 2-3 day a week day camp friend. My pup gets groomed monthly and was groomed on Nov 22 prior to him being boarded at Animal Lodge. I went in just before 3pm on Nov 29th to pick up my pup. He was soaking wet as he plays very hard with his friends. My daughter and I immediately noticed he was not himself. He seemed very timid, depressed and quiet. This behavior has never been noticed before. He is the most happy go lucky pup I have ever witnessed. I was made aware that I was late as 2 pm was pick up. I had no complaint about being charged another day. The next morning I gave my pup his morning loves and realized he had a matte in his hair. Upon further inspection he had patches where his furr was cut/trimmed down to the skin. Blotches of hair removed around his neck and in various areas down his back and legs. I took my phone out to take pictures and he got scared and hid under the truck. None of this is normal behavior for him. I called Russ, GM and he was nothing more than unprofessional. He told me that I should have noticed it before I took him home and even blamed my groomer. Not cool. Fast forward… I took him back to day camp yesterday as they have cameras for that but not for the boarding area. I showed Russ my dog and my dog showed signs of being very uncomfortable when Russ came into the room. He went and stood in the corner. Russ basically could have cared less about my dog and again blamed the groomer and myself for not noticing it when I picked him up. Every employee including the groomer knows what happened by their actions, facial expressions, no eye contact and what they said to me when I brought my dog in. This is also not normal behavior of the employees. My pup was excited to go to day camp so I left him. When I picked him up, the office staff tried to sell me a new package for day camp, tried to sell me the obedience class package and I kindly let them know we will be moving on and going elsewhere. Something happened. I can’t prove it but my dog did. I am very disappointed. Be aware people.

I would not recommend this boarding facility to anyone who cares about their animal. I understand some have views that a dog is a dog and I completely respect that and this place may work for you. BUT, I do care about my lab deeply and I was very unhappy with my boarding experience. I do admit that some of it was my fault for not asking all the questions before I boarded him so I wanted this review to help anyone looking for the answers. They leave at 6pm and do not return until 6:30am, that is 12.5 hours that your pet is completely alone without ANY supervision. If they get sick or need to go potty, they will have to go in their tiny kennel to be cleaned up in the morning. If you get back from vacation on Sunday, you have to pay for Sunday because they say pay for anyone pickup past 2pm, they don’t open until 2pm on Sunday... They typed into their schedule wrong my request to have my dog let out eat day for play time so he ended up being boarded in his kennel without play for 2 days strait, usually he roams the yard all day. The front desk is very unprofessional and gets flustered and stressed when you simply ask for a pen, it was a nightmare dealing with them. The only reason they are getting 2 stars instead of 1 is because I called and talked with Debbie everyday, she was so pleasant and I could tell really cared about the dogs and was getting to know them. There is not many options in Billings so I feel your pain as you look for a place but just do a quick visit here and ask to see the kennels and ask about unsupervised hours, I think you’ll be able to find something else, I hope.

I just boarded my dog there, now he has the worst kennel cough. Was hacking all night. He seemed very stressed when picked up. Also had to wait 40 min to pickup my dog because there was only one person at the front desk checking in a dog and checking out. My dog loves days camp it’s unfortunate that’s boarding is so stressful on him on top of cough he has now.

I will NEVER board my dogs here again. Both my daughter and I were lied to when we set up the boarding arrangements. They told both of us during our individual phone call to set it up, since we were dropping them off Saturday morning and picking them up Sunday afternoon, we would need to pre-pay for two days but we’d get half of it back if the dogs were picked up Sunday. When we went to pick them up we were informed that we “misunderstood” what we were told and they could not refund for Sunday. Their “cut off” time for the second day was at 2 p.m. but oddly enough, they don’t open on Sundays until 2:30 and we would be charged for that second day. And the manager was kind enough to inform me that if I didn’t like it I could take my dogs somewhere else next time I need them boarded. I fully intend on doing just that.

The Animal Lodge is the best. The staff obviously loves animals, so I felt confident leaving our cats and dog there for a few days. Sure enough, when we got back, our pets were in good spirits and healthy. Thanks Animal Lodge.

I haven't gone back to this place for years on the vet side for the same reasons. I thought by now they might have improved. Wrong. The most cold hearted uncaring staff member I have ever experienced. We had to end up going to Billings because they were too busy to help with my dying dog but waited 20 minutes to tell me. My dog died.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Joslyn from Yellowstone Pet and House Sitting, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! She took care of my two labs, Oliver and Violet, and did an exceptional job. Joslyn is incredibly attentive and skilled when it comes to handling pets of all personalities. Oliver is very outgoing and energetic, and she engaged him with play and exercise, ensuring he was happy and well-stimulated. Violet, on the other hand, can be a bit shy and requires some extra care and patience. Joslyn's gentle approach made all the difference, helping Violet feel comfortable and secure in her presence. It’s clear that Joslyn genuinely loves animals and has a deep understanding of their needs. We brought our pit bull here when we went on vacation, and he absolutely flourished! Joslyn was wonderful at communicating, sending photos, etc. Our dog had playtime, walks and was very well taken care of. 100% recommend Joslyn :) We will definitely be back.

Praise to The Dog House! I had two reservations for boarding for my young doberman who struggles with separation anxiety. On day one of the first stay it was evident that things were not going to go as planned. The staff made sure that he was taken care of and he did not harm himself while he was there. They went out of their way to take care of him. After this first stay I was sure they would not agree to board him a second time as they had to make special accommodations for him. This was not the case. They accepted him for the second booking I had through them. This place is not the place for my pup but this is no fault of theirs. They made sure he was safe and comfortable and kept in contact with me through both stays and did not hesitate to answer my questions and send updates. 100% trust this place!! Highly recommend. The photo is a picture they sent as an update and you can clearly see he is very happy!

We absolutely love The Dog House! Doc is a regular here and has been going for over a year. It’s great to have a place where they care for and work with the dogs. Holly, the owner, has truly been helpful with our weim puppies. They are 8 month old siblings. She is separating them at daycare. We haven't started training with her yet but look forward to it. We work with them at home, and she reinforces our training there. Highly recommend Holly and her team!!

Can’t recommend enough for daycare and boarding ! Skipper has come such a long way with the training the staff does with him. He is always happy to go and tired when he comes home!

Holly helped me with my pup, Ike. He has anxiety and is fear reactive. I wanted him to be comfortable in public settings and enjoy socializing with other dogs. She had amazing advice and taught me techniques to start with! Ike has come along way! Highly recommend Holly and the dog house!

Only a couple visits in and my Staffy loves the place. He was exhausted after his half day visit. We can’t even drive by without him getting excited about going to “Pup School.” The Dog House will be his second home. Havok definitely gives it a 5 star rating!

This place is amazing! Holly does so good with my Malinois and my Golden Lab! They both get so excited every time we pull up! This is the only place I will take my dogs!

I love the dog house, actually I think my dog loves The Dog House because he gets to play with all his friends and every Monday and he's so excited and it's so tired when he gets home.

I have a handful of a dog. Holly and her crew took wonderful care of him during his stay he didn't even rip up his blanket like he does in his kennel! Petlantis is the best groomers in the world. My dogs love going there and feel pampered and loved! They love seeing all the other dogs and most of all the groomers and workers who treat them well!! Wish we could take you back East with us. You have been Marvelous!!! We will miss you all!!

Just recently found petlantis and I’m so happy we did! My fluffy long haired pup comes back so soft and so well brushed out. I never have to worry about him matting. On top of the amazing grooming I love they have a doggy day care option. My pup can be groomed then have plenty of time to play with other dogs and come home worn out! Highly recommend them!

Have to be honest because I think all pet owners should know. My 2 year old dog had two bones in his foot broken and his ACL sprained while in for a grooming. He fell off a grooming table and the table fell on top of him because the groomers had him on the table and stepped away while another dog came in and bumped into his table. Accidents do happen, but not only did this event take place due to inexcusable negligence, but I was lied to multiple times about what happened to him until I asked to see video footage and the owner called me and fessed up. This injury took over 10 weeks and countless vet appointments to heal properly and at his last vet appointment he still continued to have evidence of the break on xrays, limped after he ran, and had to take pain meds. Luckily my dog is 2 and has since recovered. The owner was professional and paid his bills, but this injury cost me a ton in gas money to/from vet appointments, missed work for the appointments, having to pay for daycare. And she continued to employ the individuals responsible for the injury and lying about it to me. After the accident occurred and my dog was limping, the employees lied directly to my face and then charged me for the grooming. I had to specifically request reimbursement for their negligence. I will absolutely never return or support this business because my dogs health and safety was not prioritized over the self preservation of the employee.

Every team member is incredibly friendly! They all greet my pup as if they know her. They are fast and efficient at their jobs, and they always have an appointment available to fit my schedule! My pup HATES being groomed at home, but loves coming here. It’s such a relief knowing I can trust this team with my girl! Great team, great business! Highly recommend!

I took my pup timber in for a full spa day and the gals took such good care of him. I had a meeting to go to that took a little longer than expected and they made sure he was enjoying his time there. Great service. Reasonable prices and my pup loves it ❤️

Always take my dog here and he always gets a great haircut and they seem to genuinely care about the well being of your dog. Highly recommended!

Finally found a great grooming place that knows how to groom English Springer Spaniels. The groomers listen to what the dog owners want accomplished. My dogs even seemed to enjoy it because they didn’t come home agitated. Thank you again for listening to my requests and hearing my concerns with previous groomers at other places.
