I didn’t get the opportunity to meet Kelli and Warren, but after being back just a couple of days I’ve already had a few neighbors mention to me how warm, personable and kind they are! Based on our video chats, texts, and the care provided I definitely agree. If Kelli and Warren apply for a sit at your home, I couldn’t recommend them more. Clear and consistent communication, friendly, very caring for pets. I returned to a very clean home with clear info on what had been done etc. Here comes the over and above part. As a housesitter on this site as well as a pet parent, I’ve had good and not so good experiences in other peoples homes. I usually feel really good about the exchange I offer, between my home, the location, and what a sweet dog I have, (although of course I’m biased.) But this time was a bit of a different story. Mid way through the sit I told Kelli I was going to extend my trip, and asked what time she’d be leaving so I could post for the additional days and coordinate with my boyfriend to clean and prepare for next sitter. Kelli instead offered to stay through the extension which made things easy! Then, a few hours later texts me “btw, we’ve been seeing some roaches” I’m of course mortified. I had seen some in my apartment previously and management had sent someone to spray and I thought it was all taken care of. Turns out that wasn’t the case, they were back with a vengeance and suddenly alongside Nico updates I was receiving roach updates as well. I told Kelli they could end the sit early, my bf could handle my dog and I would totally understand, but they opted to stay. Maintenance came to spray again while I was gone, and now I’m back and they are doing a multi unit attack, but what a nightmare! Kelli and Warren cleaned, took all of the dishes out of the cabinets to wash them, bought traps and just went over and above. TLDR: Great housesitters, can adapt in crisis, go over and above, and take dog great photos! 100/10 can recommend. Hopefully you still had some good times in Austin, and know that many of my neighbors would love to have y’all return to Austin just to hang out!

Julie and Michael were a pleasure. We enjoyed getting to know this couple and we hope they will have an opportunity to sit for us again. Both Junior and Sheba were rather shy with them but eventually warmed up. I would recommend going forward that communication and pics be forwarded more frequently. Pet parents like to see their babies. Plants and kitties were in good health and I appreciated the good care. House was immaculate when we returned. Many thanks.

honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.

Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. I’m very pleased and would both recommend her and love to have her again.

Elaine was the best dog and cat sitter I have ever had! She was so loving to the boys, kind, reliable, capable and took fabulous care of my two dogs and cat welfare. Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.

David was an outstanding house/pet sitter for our active pup Tosha, older kitty Rascal, and 4 chickens. Rascal came home with a deep, gaping wound the day before we left for 11 days, and David was very responsible in monitoring the healing process with photos and texts to us. He exercised Tosha in the neighborhood and local parks, and obviously enjoyed her company. Our house was spotless and extremely neat when we got home, which is always welcoming after a long trip. We are very grateful for the excellent care David gave to our precious pets and home.

Our pet, with separation anxiety, had a four day stay with Liv Kennels. She was well taken care of and was given a stuffed friend to ease her nerves during a rain storm. We were sent videos and photos of our pet enjoying the outdoors and interacting with other pets. Liv kennels is priced very reasonably. We were very happy with Liv Kennels and the care of our pet. Will most definitely take our pet back when the opposite arises.
Amazing owners,when we got our puppy we needed help with training her and liv kennels offered dog obedience school and when we got our sweet girl back she was like a whole new puppy. I got the sweetest, most handsome male pup from Christine at Liv Kennels. From the time the pups were born Christine kept me informed on the progress of my baby pup with pictures, videos and messages. Liv Kennels goes the extra mile to make sure the up are taken care of and that they go to a living forever home.
Our basset hound Toby loved his stay and Liv Kennels kept us updated with texts and videos throughout our day during his visit. And they even recommend dog food since our pup has been very picky eater. Definitely recommend Liv Kennels for your fur baby.

My 2 dogs Daphne & Lily stayed with Sandy Oaks twice already, and they love it. The second time they went running to the door, went inside and through the gate without even a second glance. I felt shunned, LOL But they loved being there. They are definitely well taken care of and so spoiled by the staff. The staff is super nice and friendly to deal with as well, kind, compassionate and understanding. The facility is very nice and its such a relief to know my babies are well cared for when I am out of town. As you can see they are very spoiled. Thank you Sandy Oaks
The city was going to turn off the power from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. where we live and I had to be at work all day my baby would have been in the heat all day. I called Sandy Oaks and they worked him in. I read the reviews and I had some people highly recommend them and I strongly agree with them when I picked up my baby he was in such good spirits and was sad when we drove away. Not only will he be going back once a week for daycare he will be spending 10 days of boarding with them. I highly recommend them they were wonderful with my baby. Thank you Sandy Oaks for taking good care of my baby.

We dropped our dog off here while on vacation in Port A. The staff really loves dogs and the price is very affordable. I recommend rather then paying hotel fees, Elle had her own little vacation while we had ours.
My two labs stayed for the first time over this recent holiday weekend at Sandy Oaks. I was impressed with the grounds and setting. Having the outdoor dog pond was a big plus because my dogs LOVE swimming and cooling off in the water. It was like they were at summer camp. The proprietors were extremely friendly and I felt comfortable leaving my “boys” in their care. It was very nice to schedule a bath prior to picking them up , clean smelling dogs is a real treat. I will schedule a repeat stay at Sandy Oaks for my next trip. Joanne
Our dogs had a wonderful time at Sandy Oaks. They came home from boarding tired and happy. The staff was friendly, caring and helpful. The facility was clean and dog-friendly. We are so glad to have found a place we can feel good about entrusting our pets to when we have to go out of town!
Amazing place to board your dog. The staff is awesome and they have very competitive prices. My dog Huey, loves to go swimming there. This has become our main place to board our pup.
This is the place where we typically leave our dogs when we have to travel and can't take them with us. We left them 4-5 times there already and always had a positive stay until this last time. We left them on a Thursday and picked them up on a Monday, when my wife arrived to pick them up as she was paying and leaving a tip (because we try to always tip when we can) and they didn't mention anything to her while she was doing that, they waited until she was done and then they said "full disclosure" and explained how one of our dogs was bleeding on Friday but nothing to be afraid of, maybe because of dry skin or something. Of course, accidents happen, this isn't the real issue but why didn't they call or anything on Friday or even Saturday?, why they waited 3 days to tell us something?. When we got home we looked at the wound which was obviously not healed and we washed it and put some bandage to see the vet the next day. At the vet he mentioned how the wound is "severely infected" and he needed urgent treatment, antibiotics, etc etc. As we wait for our dog to heal, we hope it is not anything major but a lot of questions come to mind: why did they downplay the wound? did they even washed it or looked at it?, we do not expect them to treat them like a vet would, we do not expect for accidents not to happen but at least let us know and we can cover the cost to take him to a vet or we can do something about it, if our dog would've stayed longer what would happen?, infection could've been way worse. Unfortunately we cannot trust this place anymore and we will not come back.
Recently, my two dogs had one of the best experiences here. Both are rescue dogs. Micco gets very stressed and has anxiety problems. He's never really been around other dogs as well so he's not a social butterfly to say. I also have a 12 year old small dog that is more to himself. After a couple of days of daycare and then boarding they were sooo happy and was ready to go back for more. I definitely, recommend this place for your dog. It changed mine for the better especially after being turned down from other local daycare/boarding places. Thanks for all you guys have done in caring for my two kids!
So grateful for this kennel!! I live on the road and finding good kennels is pretty tough in every area. The reviews for Sandy Oaks stood out from the rest of the other doggy daycares and they lived up to the expectations! Their facility was clean and they let my pup play in the pool every day. When I dropped her off for the first time, the staff was very gentle with introducing themselves to my dog and that alone just gave me piece of mind that they treat their animals well.

Absolutely wonderful choice for our dog when we have to be out of town; they always take the best care of her like she is their own! They are extremely welcoming and professional, you can see this is what they love to do and not just a business! They have always been exceptional in accommodating us and just recently got our girl in at the last minute when we lost power from a tropical storm for a whole week. They sent us daily videos of her exploring the grounds and completely enjoying herself, it makes us feel so much better whenever we have to leave her! Highly recommended!!
We absolutely love Ingleside Kennels. Ricardo looks after our 3 Pet Fur Babies with such great care. He also sends us regular videos and pictures while we are on vacation so we can see them and know they are happy. We highly recommend them for your Animal Boarding.
Ricardo was awesome! He was able to get our dog in on a last minute petcation and he loved it! Ricardo keeps us updated with videos and photos throughout the whole stay. Our dog, Coors, was happy when we picked him up. Definitely recommend bringing your pup! Coors will be back!
Ingleside Kennels truly deserves more than 5 stars. Our dogs, our babies, were welcomed by Richardo with warm loving arms. While they were on their petcation we received videos and were able to communicate with ease which in turn made my trip to see my family that much more enjoyable. I knew my babies were in caring arms. The facility is spacious and well taken care of. I definitely will be bringing my babies back to stay with Richardo whenever I decide to go out of town l. Awesome kennel! The owner sent us videos of our pup enjoying herself and getting exercise. Our dog didn’t come home with the “crazy eyes” she has come home with from being cooped up at other kennels. They took great care of her and we will definitely use this place again!
This was my first ever experience boarding one of my dogs. He had a 7 night “Petcation”. I am certain he loved every moment of it! Ricardo was nothing short amazing, compassionate and caring with my little pal. He took beautiful pictures of him daily and would send me videos everyday that we were apart. I received updates when they were on walks, photos by the pond, and videos playing near the peacocks. My mind was completely at ease and I knew that our puppy was in the best of hands, being cared for and most importantly; loved. I would recommend Ingleside Kennels and Ricardo to anyone looking for someone to care for their fur babies. This is more than a “kennel”, it’s a home away from home for your best friend.

I needed someone to look over my pup for the Christmas holidays and I am so lucky I found this wonderful place!
