She sent us regular updates and pictures, and left our home in beautiful condition, clean, neat, and tidy and with a happy Pebbles! We hope to have her sit for us again!

Sam and Teresa were lovely house sitters. I warmed to them as soon as I talked to them on our initial video call. Communication was excellent and they arrived in plenty of time as arranged. Sukie took to them immediately and seemed very happy during their stay. The sheep were cared for perfectly too. I had daily messages and they left the house immaculate. We been with TH for over 14 years now and have had mostly excellent sitters all this time. Gabi stands out in the top 3; we could tell she loves animals from our very first zoom call with her where she went on and on about the dog at her (then) current sit! We overlapped by a day at either end and it really was a pleasure to get to know her a bit. When we returned, our cat that had been having some medical issues was perfect and seemed years younger. She had also managed to take the most insanely cute photos of both cats and send us daily updates. It is always good to have one’s faith in humanity re-affirmed, and to leave your home knowing it is in excellent hands. Gabi checks all the boxes and more! Come back soon!

This was the second year in a row that Claudia house sat for us but this time we took the dogs with us which was a disappointment for her! Claudia was very flexible and tends not to be fazed by anything; our son and girlfriend went home halfway through the house sit and Claudia was very chilled about sharing the house with them. We got back to a very clean house, happy cats and well tended garden which required a lot of watering thank you Claudia!!

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

This was our first time using a pet or house sitter and the bar set by Leslie is very high! She is warm, friendly, communicative, responsible and very clean. Upon arriving, she immediately bonded with our rat terrier, Oreo, by bringing him a new frisbee (his favorite toy/activity) and throwing it for him in our backyard. Leslie has a sweet and mellow dog, Benny, who is now Oreo's new buddy! She kept my husband and I updated via texts/pictures of their daily activities, our house, and was proactive in asking questions before she left. She even dropped our dog off at the kennel for one night at the end of our trip since our flight was too late for us to get home for him! Our home was clean and had fresh flowers from our garden that she put in vases for us! Such a simple and nice touch! We have asked Leslie to come back to sit for us again for 2 weeks in August. I'd highly recommend her to take care of your pet(s) and home too!

Not only did Krista take great care of our cat while we were away, she left the house cleaner than she found it. She also kept in touch with occasional photos and videos of kitty antics, which gave me peace of mind that the cat was well-cared for. Linda was an awesome pet sitter for my doggie Brodie! She gave him so much loving attention… he has some separation anxiety at 9 years old & she never left his side! She was so attentive to him & I am very grateful for that! I felt totally confident in leaving Darcy and my house in Elaine’s care and I returned to a very contended dog and a perfectly clean and tidy house. Elaine arrived the day before I left so I was able to get to know her and enjoy an evening meal with her before my very early flight. We kept in contact while I was away via WhatsApp and I was happy to see photos of Darcy relaxing in her usual favourite places. It was lovely to be welcomed back home after my holiday by a very well looked after dog and it was so nice that Elaine was here to welcome me and had the lamps on, flowers in vases and a meal in the oven. My house was clean and tidy and Darcy has enjoyed a week of lovely walks and neck scratches. Thomas did an amazing job! We were very pleased with how well he was able to care for our 3 active Boston terriers. He was able to handle all 3 on a walk and feed them their special meal everyday. He even ventured out and took them to the beach which is no easy task for 3 excited dogs. Thomas did a great job communicating before and during the stay. We came home to a clean house with bedding washed. We had a handful of other pet sitters through this website and Thomas easily rates at the top of our list.
