This 2 bedroom, 2-floor townhouse is located above a flower shop in Jersey City - only a 5 minute walk to the Grove Steet PATH train and 20 minutes into downtown Manhattan. The townhouse is located on a tree-lined street just a half block away from Newark ave, a main street with bars and restaurants. The Freedom Tower is viewable through the windows. The bedroom is large with a queen-sized bed. The second bedroom has a Peloton available for use as well as a desk for you to work remotely. There is a washer/dryer in-unit as well as a dishwasher. You have free rein over the living room devices and kitchen appliances. There is a small roof space to sit outdoors if you'd like some fresh air.

My cat gets fed a can of cat food once in the am and once in the pm. She is very easy to care for and loves love. Our puppy is 1 year old and a lovable/ very energetic nugget. He is 55 pounds and VERY VERY high energy so if you are looking for a housesit that allows you to leave for long stretches of time, this isn’t for you. Concurrently, he can sometimes pull a bit on the leash so if you are not physically equipped to handle a large dog, this sit isn't for you. He is fed 2x per day and needs a solid hour walk in the am and pm and short walks every 4-6 hours. He also sleeps and bed and is all love and play - no aggression.

This was a delightful sit with a spectacular cat, a tasteful home and a great location! Cleocatra "Cleo" is a very gentle and affectionate cat who likes to cuddle, enjoys treats and occasionally plays. As Laura and Morgan took Oni on this trip with them, we did not have the pleasure to interact with their young dog. He seems like he would be a lot of fun, especially if you like to walk! Laura and Morgan's home had everything one would need. It was beautifully decorated, comfortable and spacious. The abundance of plants was a huge plus! Their home is located in the historic district of Jersey City and with the holiday decorations throughout the streets, we felt like we had walked onto a movie set. Plenty of space, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc. Laura also left great directions and information about the neighborhood. Overall, a wonderful sit!

Thank you Laura and Morgan for welcoming us into your beautiful home! Cleo and Oni were a pleasure to look after. By the end of our short stay we got to know them very well! Cleo (cat) was super chilled out and enjoyed playtime now and then. Oni is a larger puppy and was quite energetic so needed a lot more attention, but also loved a cuddle. We’d definitely recommend this sit for people with experience with larger dogs. Laura was a fabulous host and left detailed instructions and was super responsive. The apartment is perfected located in central Jersey City and had lots of places to eat/drink and parks nearby. The PATH train ran 24/7, so it was very easy to get to Manhattan in 15 mins (door to door). Thank you!

To say I was blown away by Tania is the biggest understatement of the century. Not only was she flexible when I had to adjust our travel plans last minute, she also spent 10 full days leash training our new puppy. It's a night and day difference with behavior. I feel like I won the TH lottery. 10/10 no notes. Would highly recommend.
