This 2 bedroom, 2-floor townhouse is located above a flower shop in Jersey City - only a 5 minute walk to the Grove Steet PATH train and 20 minutes into downtown Manhattan. The townhouse is located on a tree-lined street just a half block away from Newark ave, a main street with bars and restaurants. The Freedom Tower is viewable through the windows. The bedroom is large with a queen-sized bed. The second bedroom has a Peloton available for use as well as a desk for you to work remotely. There is a washer/dryer in-unit as well as a dishwasher. You have free rein over the living room devices and kitchen appliances. There is a small roof space to sit outdoors if you'd like some fresh air.

My cat gets fed a can of cat food once in the am and once in the pm. She is very easy to care for and loves love. Our puppy is 1 year old and a lovable/ very energetic nugget. He is 55 pounds and VERY VERY high energy so if you are looking for a housesit that allows you to leave for long stretches of time, this isn’t for you. Concurrently, he can sometimes pull a bit on the leash so if you are not physically equipped to handle a large dog, this sit isn't for you. He is fed 2x per day and needs a solid hour walk in the am and pm and short walks every 4-6 hours. He also sleeps and bed and is all love and play - no aggression.

I spent a few days in Laura's beautiful, cosy and cute home in the best neighbourhood in Jersey City, taking care of the sweetest kitty out there: Cleocatra, aka Cleo. It was such a delight taking care of Cleo, we became friends instantly. I enjoyed my time cuddling with her, playing and sitting on the sunny terrace. She was the best company! Laura's home is spacious, full of light and beautifully decorated. It's super well located near the train station (only 5min walk away) and at the doorstep of a lot of nice restaurants and bars. Around the corner there's a little park and you're not far from the river for long runs or sunset views. I really enjoyed my stay with Cleo and thank you again, Laura, for your trust and kindness! Happy to come back for another pet sit any time :-)

We had a great time watching Cleocatra! Laura and her partner have a beautiful home that is in a great location with easy access to Manhattan via the PATH train. The home is also in close proximity to a variety of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, & grocery stores. The area is very walking-friendly. The quality of communication with Laura was 10/10, Cleo is such a sweetheart, & we'd highly recommend this sit to others!

Laura and Morgan' cat Cleocatra was a lovely companion. Gentle, she likes to be petted and will be nearby often. She greets you when you come in, and will lead you to what she wants. She enjoys being brushed and playing with her toys! All in all, a lovely cat. The apartment in Jersey City's old town area is up two flights of rather steep stairs typical of the townhouse architecture of the 1800's. Their kitchen is well outfitted, and the bed is very comfy. You will hear the usual urban street noises, but they did not bother us. The restaurants nearby were various and many and the neighborhood is walkable and safe with an easy jaunt to the Path trains at Grove Street Station which take you to NYC in minutes. Laura's communication was top notch with a phone call to meet, then videos and complete explanations of the duties and the apartment. She responded quickly to our questions. Some sitters also like to have the THS book as well, but we had no problem with the assorted gadgets- ac, dishwasher, etc. So we did not miss it. Overall, a terrific sit for us! We hope we can return and take care of Cleocatra again. Of course, we also recommend this sit to others!😁

To say I was blown away by Tania is the biggest understatement of the century. Not only was she flexible when I had to adjust our travel plans last minute, she also spent 10 full days leash training our new puppy. It's a night and day difference with behavior. I feel like I won the TH lottery. 10/10 no notes. Would highly recommend.
