Dormer bungalow 5 minutes drive from Preston city centre. Buses run close by too. Semi rural area with super lovely neighbours. Just over an hour away from the beautiful Lake District and an hour and half from the Peak District. An hour from historic Chester. We also have some fabulous local green spaces, Close to the Pennines and Rivington Pike. An hours drive or a train from nearby Preston will bring you into the city centre of Manchester. For those who are like me, a bit of a tv addict, we have Sky Q Netflix and Amazon Prime

We have the two lovely boys and an outdoor cat, Ella, who is a very independent cat, but will come for some love once in a while when it suits her. The boys will go for a walk (Billy will go 20 times a day given half a chance, he’s an anxious kind of guy) Charlie not so much, he’s a lazy boy! They will run around the garden in nice weather. Both boys are rescue dogs. Not a problem to leave them alone whilst you go out to explore, max 6 - 7 hours please.

We so enjoyed our time in Preston with the gorgeous dogs Charlie Brown and Billy, and of course the darling cat Ella. Jill and Wayne’s home is so wonderfully comfortable and warm, the bed in the spare room is one of the most comfortable we have slept in. In the time before our sit I feel we forged a friendship with Jill and Wayne. This was only solidified when we met them the night before they left when we when we were treated to a scrumptious meal on arrival. Jills communication was at all times prompt, reliable and friendly. I cannot daily them over a year of communication. We would definitely recommend this sit, and thank you to you both for your hospitality. Hope to see you later in the year when we pass through.

It was a pleasure to meet wayne and jill and their fury family in Preston. Their dogs, Billy and Charlie Brown took too us from the start of our sit and Ella the cats was friendly when we saw her for feeding. Wayne and Jill were very easy to get on with and have a warm, comfortable home. Jill was great at communicating if we need to know something. Sue was able to borrow Jills bike to ride some of the guild wheel track. It was also lovely to enjoy some fresh tomatoes, raspberries, beans and blueberries from the garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would recommend jill and wayne to any future sitters.
