Beautiful house in Falmouth, Cornwall with just two cats look after! Hi, we are husband and wife living in a beautiful area of Cornwall. Falmouth is on the coast with beaches in 15 minutes walk. We are very house proud and we are just finishing restoring this house. We prefer couples.

The house is situated in the centre of Falmouth, with Penmere Station 4 minutes' walk away which goes to Truro which connects to the mainline to London. The town is a 10-minute walk away, but it is uphill on the way back! We are also well connected by buses and boats to local places of interest. The house is a 1930's architect designed 3 bed home, although we have converted one to an office. We have lovely gardens surrounding the house and evening sun in the back garden.

The cats are quite sociable and Smithy is known as a "legend" by most of our sitters, he loves the outside! Betsy is quite old and needs liquid drugs on a bit of chicken twice a day. They both love a fuss and curling up in front of the logburner!

Mark and Teresa are lovely, friendly, fun people who have an amazing home and a wonderful menagerie, both of which were a joy to take care of. We were made to feel instantly welcome in their immaculate home and were given clear instructions on how to take care of their pets, so we felt really comfortable and confident from day one. They even cooked us an amazing meal on our first night (Teresa and Mark are real foodies, so it was such a treat) and left great recommendations for walks and places to eat. We adore Cornwall (in all weather) so it was an absolute delight to take care of their homestead and enjoy the quiet, peaceful surroundings. We highly recommend this sit would sit for them again in a heartbeat. We hope to be back down that end of England again at some point this year, even if it's just to have a gin with them and chat about travel.

Absolutely gorgeous home and the animals (whilst they might seem overwhelming to some) are angels. So well behaved and easy to look after. Teresa and Mark are both lovely and welcomed me into their home a day before for dinner and a show around so I felt very at ease. Couldn't recommend more.

I had a great time sitting for Theresa and Mark, they were the perfect hosts and I was made to feel very welcome. Never having looked after goats or chickens before, I arrived a day early to find out all about the animals and house and what would be needed. Mark and Theresa showed me everything I needed to know and provided a lot of local information so I could make the most of my stay. They have everything well organised so the day to day care was easier than I was expecting and it left me plenty of time to enjoy the area. The animals are all very friendly and I enjoyed looking after them, even cleaning out the goats. The most difficult part of the stay was trying to think of ways to use all the eggs! The house is in a great location for exploring the south of Cornwall, with many beaches, the coastal path, and National trust sites within short drives. The house itself is a characterful farm cottage which was very cosy and had everything I needed. I will hopefully be able to have another stay at this wonderful location.
