Two Young Female Maine Coons need house sitter
Introduction
Hi, I am Barbara and live in Kemp Town, Brighton and would be really happy to talk to people interested in sitting for my cats and see how it all pans out. So, about my place: Kemp Town is a colourful part of the city (Time Out recently placed it No 26 Coolest Neighbourhood in the world!) and my house is just two streets from the sea and a 20 minute walk to the centre of town. Local shops are a few minutes walk away. My two cats are pretty well adjusted and easy to look after so an easy gig!

A terraced Victorian house, with 3 /4 beds and 2 bathrooms, a courtyard and an Aga - so that may take some getting used to! The village shops are very close by and include many bakers, a butchers, greengrocers and Boots - to name a few! So everything is on hand - including a pub opposite which in the 25+ years that i have lived here has never been a problem.

The normal cat care duties - feeding, making sure water bowls are full with fresh water and daily clearing of the litter tray. In the summer, the plants in the courtyard will (hopefully if it is warm and sunny) need watering. Both cats are happy and content and are not very demanding, so should be easy to look after.

This was my idea of a dream sit - fabulous cats, location, home, host. I loved the Aga in the dining/living room which kept the downstairs area cosy and warm. Izzy and Savvy are two of the most gorgeous cats I have ever met. I would love to look after them again in the future. Barbara wrote an excellent guide explaining all one needs to know about her home and the cat care required. She is a friendly, fun, generous host and I enjoyed my chats with her. Located two streets from the beach, it was lovely to go for walks along the promenade & pier and easy to get into the centre of town & the rail station. Kemptown has a lot of independent stores for groceries as well as other things. It is easy to get to shops & supermarkets within 5-10 minutes walk from Barbara’s home, or you can take a bus to Morrison's - the stop is just 2 minutes walk away, very convenient.

Absolutely loved staying at Barbara’s beautiful home with her amazing cats, we became very attached to them both as they were so loving and easy to look after! Barbara is such an amazing person and we loved meeting her and appreciated her hospitality 😍

Barbara's place is so lovely and Izzy & Savvy are super chill. Communication was great with Barbara. She is super nice and even cooked dinner for me on my first night. I enjoyed my stay there. Hope I get to go back at one point.
