The house is two double bedrooms, open plan kitchen and living room, small but lovely shower room and office. There is a studio/workshop attached to the house. Renovation finished 2017. The house sits in 5 hectares of private stunningly beautiful land. It is a simple contemporary design off grid house which is wonderful to live in. The land has all been prepared but there will be some weeding and watering to do. Other than that its a simple live. Closest town Tabua which is 6 minutes. Totally private but close to town. Stunning river beaches and masses to do in this friendly and very special place. This property is truly stunning. Internet is reasonable and provided. We are specifically looking for a couple with a car to house sit for us.

Kitty and Will were fantastic in all ways. In otherwords they set us up comprehensively and so generously which made our stay totally enjoyable and memorable. The location is superb with many great natural features including river beaches and associated walks. Their home site and the home itself are incredible. . The home is comfortable, and off the grid, with a setting that is picture perfect. The views are unbelievable. We only hope we can home-sit again in this beautiful location. If we can't, we recommend this as a first class experience for adventurers and those wanting to experience Portuguese rural life that is 'grand', breath-taking and authetic. Will and Kitty were amazing. This was a fantastic experience in an extremely beautiful off-grid setting on an impeccably renovated old structure. So cozy and welcoming! Location was good for the plan that we had to visit different cities from there including Porto, Santiago in Spain, and very beautiful small surrounding villages. Had a great time!

A truly fantastic Housesit experience. Tucked into a quiet valley with hikes to near by villages, easy access to shops and sightseeing adventure and the occasional little visit from a wild kitty or two sweet rascal wild dogs looking for a handout and a little love. Kitty and Will are no less than exceptional hosts, generous, available and supportive. The off grid upkeep is straight forward and the homey conveniences plentiful. You will be lucky to have some time here.
