Cynthia was a perfect pet sitter for our little kitty. We knew from her extensive experience with cats that Nala was in good hands. She was extremely responsive via texts when we were away, ensuring us that the 2 of them were having a great time. She went absolutely above and beyond by scrubbing our bath and toilets to remove our mineral deposit rings that we haven't been able to get rid of! She even left the name of the product she used so we can get more in the future. The house was cleaner than when we left. We'll have her back anytime!

"A relaxing and long time away from home made possible by the best pet & house sitters we could have asked for!" Judy and Steph went the extra mile over their entire one month stay at our home. Both our cats became fast friends thanks to the care and dedication provided for them. We were routinely updated with spectacular photos of our furry girls throughout our leave that helped us be anxiety-free the entire time. Even our older shy cat spent time sleeping on their laps or hanging out on shoulders. As for the house, Judy and Steph left it even cleaner than when they arrived! We had a few tasks to maintain the lawn and potted plants outside, which were completed perfectly. They even tended to our vegetable garden where needed! During a 'risk of severe hail storm' alert, Judy and Steph kept us in the loop and went even further to place potted plants under shelter out of harms way. In summary, we recommend Judy and Steph and would happily have them return again if our schedules cross paths.

Pares is an experienced and quality sitter and we knew our cat Juniper (and a few plants) was well cared for. We received regular updates and photos which was really nice to have during our travels. While we missed Juniper, we could see that she enjoyed receiving cuddles and attention from Pares. Upon returning home, our flat was clean and tidy, and Juniper was very happy! Thank you for taking care of her!

I am struggling with naming our top adjective to describe Michael and Jeanne. "Conscientious" will likely be it but then again, "personable," "reliable," "organised," and "animal-loving" are top contenders. If you are reading this review and contemplating inviting this couple to watch your pets, then look no further. We have had a number of excellent house sitters but this pair was next level in terms of the love they showed our cats, Maxx and Nala. When we came back, we could our animals already missed them. These cats, who have never slept with anyone other than us, were getting in bed with them each night -- and that meant climbing stairs! The day before our trip, Nala got an ear infection and had to be put on steroids for asthma. Michael and Jeanne did not sign up for that when the sit was booked but they took it in stride. In the last-minute rush, I relayed that Nala needed her oral steroids morning and night. Michael read the RX label, indicating one dose a day, and contacted the vet to clarify. So you can see why "conscientious" is right up there. They saved Nala from an overdose! We were gone three weeks and they sent us just the right amount of pictures and videos. They bought cat toys (I forgot to put ours out!) and actively engaged with them, including 20-minute massages for Maxx. I truly believed them when they said they fell in love with our fur babies. The house was spotless (which was not important to me but truly appreciated) but I smiled when all six water stations in our yard were filled. They took seriously my love for and the needs of the wildlife in our yard. Our plants were all in good condition as well. Sensing they were "next level" when I met them, I predicted they would want to leave a meal for us upon our return. I asked them not to but they found another way to bow out with class. They made a donation to a nonprofit I work with instead. This I learned from the lovely thank you note they left. I hope they will consider Charles and I friends because we certainly feel that way about them now. What special people. If you book them, treat them well because they are going to do that for you for sure.

Young was the perfect house sitter for us. From the moment you meet her, you can tell she is animal person and is detailed oriented and will take great care of your house and pets. She exudes a peaceful and grounded energy. She was comfortable with each our pets from the high energy dog to the shy skittish cat. She played with the dog in the yard every day and took him on walks. And she was also very attentive to our cats and figured out how to maintain the equilibrium in the relationship between the cats and dog. She is an excellent communicator; she asked questions when our directions weren't clear and kept us updated on the pets. She is also an amazing photographer. She sent us pics of our pets every day that totally captured each of their personalities.

Laura came across the country to sit for us. She arrived a day early and from the moment my pets met her our Lokie was smitten. We have one shy cat Luna and she was out and about on the first night. Laura kept us updated and shared her Adventures as well. We do live in a small hideaway of a town so seeing that she was able to enjoy herself was nice. We returned to a clean home, laundry done also, and very content pets. Lokie was sad for a few days as he missed his friend. We would recommend Laura as a sitter to anyone and would have her back again. 5 plus stars. ⭐

Paige, David, and family were WONDERFUL sitters for my crew! They were so pleasant and personable, and the pets warmed up to them very quickly. Even my rescue cat who tends to stray away from men loved David. I received regular updates and communication (before and during the sit). I truly did not have any concerns while I was away knowing that everyone had such great care and attention given to them. (I know the dogs had a good time because when I came home there was no commotion over my return.) I was away on NYE and Paige had no issues keeping an eye on one of the dogs who has anxiety surrounding loud noises. The family cleaned up after themselves and may have left the house cleaner than when I left! Truly such a great family who I would welcome back any time!

Jenima is an excellent sitter! She is organized, communicative and flexible throughout the stay. We needed a sitter at the last minute because Jazz got sick, and Jenima saved us. We left a little worried about him, but Jenima took care of him really well and kept us informed. Cats love her! We definitely recommend her to take care of your pets!

We couldn't have asked for better sitters than Pares and Mark. Since our initial contact, it was straightforward to communicate with Pares. We were lucky enough to get a chance to meet Pares with our dog Luna, and Luna got along with her immediately. During our time away from home, she kept us informed about how both our dog and cat were doing, and they were both cuddling with her since the first day. We got a lot of pictures and knew that they were safe and happy. The apartment was exactly as we had left it when we came back. Pares and Mark even ran the dishwasher and the washing machine for us. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter, and it made our trip very easy knowing they were taken care of so well. We'd have Pares and Mark back to our home without any hesitation.

Cat and Paul were wonderful sitters - our cats were contented and calm when we returned. And the house was spotless. Plus Paul mowed our entire yard including the back meadow - what a surprise! We very much enjoyed visiting with them as well and getting to know them. Highly recommend :)

Handful of visits to Canine Culture East and don't think I'll return on account of several reasons: - Inconsistency. Each time, groomer has been different. The previous one recommended to book future sessions with her to familiarize our young dog with same groomer, which I agree with- just impossible when groomers are continually leaving/changing. - High price. Especially for a very small toy breed needing minimal cutting etc. I've read typically, cost is lower for toy breeds as the time needed can be minimal for a small dog with short coat and much longer for a large dog with thick and heavy coat. As expensive as it is, I can't imagine we're paying any less for our 5 pound dog than other patrons. - Not pleased with the grooming itself. Nails were left long this last time and the cuts we receive are inconsistent and lack style. This last time we were told we weren't able to discuss the details beforehand with anyone, let alone the groomer, so we just got what we got. I often see cute cuts done with the Poodle breed and this place leaves a lot to be desired. - Front desk/service is pretty poor - mildly helpful, no info given to new customers, and the one person staffed appears understandably over burdened having to manage everything from answering phones, appt. scheduling, greeting customers, intake and and pick up of pets.
This place is incredible! I go here to get my dogs nails done. I have a boxer mix and a Labrador retriever and they do a great job with both dogs. I also boarded my Labrador here for my graduation because I could only take one dog and he was very well taken care of. In fact he was excited to come back!
We are so pleased with our boarding and grooming experience with Canine Culture. They provided personalized boarding service to each of our dogs and when we went to pick them up, they were happily playing with other dogs and staff. I cannot say enough about how great Jim and his staff (Mary) are with the dogs. I will never go anywhere else again. THANK YOU!!!!
Hit and miss on grooming well or doing all they advertize for grooming, but charge anyway. You need to watch nail trimming being skipped. Dogs running free all the time so not a great environment for small dogs, older dogs, or timid dogs who do not do well with other dogs. Sam is an excellent groomer, but not always available.
I used to take all three of my family’s toy poodles to this location. They were cut very well and everyone was very nice! I would normally highly recommend this place but, they canceled on us twice due to the groomer being sick. No one can help being sick... But, we were told they would call us to reschedule ASAP. The first time we had to call several days after the fact, they did get us in quickly. The second cancellation was on May 25th we never received a call to reschedule and have since gone to a different groomer.
Samantha has groomed all my Schnauzer babies for years. She is fabulous and kind to all of my puppies. They have always looked beautiful when I pick them up.This salon is "the Best"! Great staff!!
The shop is always pleasant to visit. Joanna at the front desk always greets you with a smile. The whole staff is super friendly, and I love the way the groomers treat my dog. I know he is in good hands with the team here. They are the only ones I trust to groom my mini poodle!

I have a little rescue dog who still gets nervous and triggered easily. It was so hard to find a place that would take good care of her until i discovered la pawta! I have been coming here to see iría for a year now and it’s been nothing but amazing service. My dog always gets princess treatment and she always works so well with her. Miss Bella always comes out clean and relaxed. As soon as we get home she’s taking a nap from her relaxing spa day. I wouldn’t trust bringing my dog anywhere else. You can tell that these employees truly love what they do!
Took our girl to have her groomed and fell in love with the owner and her place! She did a wonderful job on our baby and she seemed to have such a great time with the other dogs there. I made another grooming appointment before I left and will be taking our little girl back to day care to have more fun! They are awesome!!

We LOVE La Pawta! We needed last minute lodging for our dog during thanksgiving. Iria got back to me so quick and was more than willing to set up a small meet with our dog because she’s normally a very timid dog. Our dog took to her so well and she was soo loving. We ended up leaving our Bella at La Pawta for the week. It was very nice to not have to worry about her at all, we knew she was in good hands. We got frequent updates and photos of our dog during her stay. Our dog was able to socialize and that’s something she was never able to do. We picked her up nice and clean as we also added on some grooming before pickup. The price was reasonable given the amount of care she received. So happy we found La Pawta, will definitely be using them again.
La Pawta is awesome! We brought in our shaggy ragamuffin puppy to be groomed and she came out looking like a demure little damsel. Everyone was friendly and so incredibly kind. This will be our regular groomer for our sweet Bellatrix.
Sarah was great our boy miniature poodle charlie. He loves getting groomed with her, she takes her time and she is so patient with him and explains everything she is going to do which is great because there are no suprises when we pick him up. The facility is big snd beautiful he gets to run around and play before and during his cut and not sit in a crate waiting.

Our family and dogs absolutely love La Pawta Spa Day Camp & Resort. Iria and her team do an amazing job with grooming and taking care of the dogs. Briana is very thorough and knowledgeable. My dog needs regular vet care and has the worst anxiety about getting out. Having that care at home where he can be calm and happy is such a blessing.
Briana is simply the best. She's patient wirh Bosque, my cat, who doesn't like her nails trimmed. Briana gets it done without any fuss in 5 minutes. Bosque actually likes her. Usually, Bosque doesn't like anybody but me. Briana's reliable, punctual, reasonably priced and works with your schedule and last minute changes with no problem. Highly recommend Duke City Dog Spa. Aly was so gentle with my old guy, Bo. She worked with his limitations, arthritic hips and an FHO. She was so sweet and talked to him the whole time. She asoo grooms my blue heelr, Ruby and she absolutely lovedls Aly. I will not let anyone else touch my dogs.

Love this kennel! Used them 10 years ago and then again recently for my young and overly enthusiastic huge dog. They are kind and loving people who take fabulous care of the animals. The place is clean, and my dog obviously really likes the people. They groomed him before I picked him up and he is sweet smelling and gorgeous.

My dogs (3) were boarded here for about 3 weeks after I lost my home in a fire,. They received wonderful care. I also had them groomed. They were beautiful. Highly recommend.
