Animal lover looking to love on your fur babies!
Aubrey was great! I like an idiot locked our screen door and she was kind enough to wait for me to call a locksmith so she can start the sit. I was so embarrassed but she was kind, patient and communicative. I’d use her again in a heartbeat.

Pets make a house a home and we will enjoy caring for your pets, home, garden!
Janet & Joel were great! They were super personable and easy to communicate with. When we met them before our departure for our trip, we immediately felt comfortable leaving Henry with them. They were well organized and clean and tidy, and we would recommend them for others needing a dog sitter.

Traveling Animal lovers
Greg and Joni were amazing dog sitters. My girl, Kisses, went on a hunger strike and they handled it well. They were always attentive and gave her lots of love and affection along with her protests to even go outside. They gave me daily updates and also allowed me to FaceTime my girl during her hunger strike. I also had a building snafu that made them park in another location the first night and move their car the second night. I was so afraid that would disrupt their stay and they simply rolled with the punches. Oh, and Greg fixed my patio door screen that had fallen off in the storm in July. So handy and resourceful. I so appreciate the handyman skills. I highly recommend Greg and Joni to your next sit as they are well-seasoned travelers and so very personable and reliable (as I was able to meet them the night before). They were so concerned about my dog and went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable.

Elise was an excellent sitter! She was communicative leading up to and during her stay with us. Also left our place so tidy and clearly took great care of our cat. She'd be welcome back anytime.

Retired Cat Lovers With Unlimited Flight Benefits Ready to Fly to YOU!
Debra and John were the perfect sitters. They flew in early and met us to ensure everything was handed over and left the house immaculate. The boys clearly enjoyed them too - lots of cuddles and John is the cat whisperer. Lovely people and would highly recommend to anyone.

Responsible mom & a big kid team ready to care for pets, homes, and plants
Justyna and Caroline were wonderful housesitters. They took excellent care of our home and animals and checked the cows daily. Caroline played with Brody and showed the horses and our outdoor cat affection and Justyna kept everything running smoothly. I can't say enough good things about them. Everything was just as we'd left it and Justyna communicated with us regularly.

Fit Travel Coach desires to love your babies while you holiday.
Terri was a positive, cheerful, reliable housesitter. She communicated very well, was reliable, organised and brilliant with our two dogs . We would be delighted if she could sit for us again in the future
Carole and Ron are excellent cat-sitters! They took very good care of my cat Lola and of my house. I came home to a happy cat and a very clean and tidy house. They sent me pictures of Lola and kept me updated, so that I had a very relaxed holiday. I very highly recommend them as cat- sitters and I would be thrilled if they would come back to sit for Lola again. Thank you so much!
Chris and Julia were our very first sitters and are the most perfect house/pet sitters anyone would ever want!!! Julia sent video/pictures of our fur babies everyday and we noticed early on that our animals were very relaxed and happy!! This made our trip so enjoyable and stress free knowing that our animals were safe and being spoiled and loved the whole time. They even trained our dog to sit while her leash was being attached and was able to pet and hold our cat that is somewhat nervous around strange people he doesn't know. When I got back from the trip, the house was very clean along with Julia/Chris had washed the bed sheets, bath towels, vacuumed, dusted etc., and even washed the pet bedding. They also left some SE Asia treats for us to try which so sweet of them. Definitely the perfect house sitters!!!
Great pet sitter - took perfect care of our cat and our home. They were super communicate leading up to and during the sit and left our apartment in great shape. I'd absolutely recommend them to any future sitters!
We are thoroughly pleased with and impressed by Daniel's kind, generous, and careful care of our cat and our house. He is a committed and experienced sitter who completely understands his role and responsibilities and also how to gently win the confidence and affection of a pet. He is an excellent communicator, and he kept us regularly up to date on our cat's well being--sending us texts and photos at least once/week as we requested. Our cat who is a little afraid of new people, grew fond of him, and we have returned to a very calm, contented cat. We highly recommend Daniel, and we ourselves would be thrilled to engage him again when the need arises.
Susan and Miranda are amazing! I've had the pleasure of working with many sitters and they are truly exceptional. They were great at keeping in touch, sent lots of updates, asked good questions, really bonded with the cats, clearly very experienced working with animals and understanding their needs, and generally lovely to deal with. They were really patient putting up with a whole bunch of deliveries and even assembled a spare bed! They also left the place spotless with clean sheets on the bed. I'm pretty sure the cats loved Susan and Miranda more than us by the end of their stay! I'd highly recommend them to anyone and would love to have them stay again any time.
After seeing the numerous positive reviews, I knew Cung would be an easygoing and professional cat sitter and house guest, and he was :-) Easy communication, prompt updates and clear concern for Boz & Artie's wellbeing, and pictures of cozying up on the couch together all made our time away secure and stress free. Upon returning home, the cats were chill and the apt was left spotless, as though he hadn't even been there.
Lindsey was super communicative, friendly, responsible, and an excellent sitter for our two cats. When we returned, our home was clean and our cats relaxed and happy as if we had never left ! She sent us photos and updates every day, as requested, and when a random mishap occurred in the apartment, she let us know right away and was proactive in handling issue. We felt like both our cats and our home were in very caring, capable and respectful hands. Excellent! Thank you Lindsey!
Great sitter would hire Stephen and Jenny in a heartbeat. Great with dogs cat and house
Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for. Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay. Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day. Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well! Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement. Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Without a doubt, I would recommend him as a sitter...and a friend! Thank you, Justin for a great example of how to wrestle so much more meaning out of zeewoi.
My husband and I reached out to Toby & Chloe after reading their profile and impressive reviews only a week before our trip, since our scheduled sitter had to cancel at the last moment. They were very friendly and quick to respond to chat from the very beginning, and ended up exceeding our expectations during their two week stay. It was evident they had thoroughly read our Welcome Guide beforehand, as they arrived knowledgeable and prepared to care for our home and pets. They were very willing and happy to take the necessary time with us to walk through the house and meet our cats, as we got them acclimated with our daily routines and answered any questions. Shortly after we left, our city had a heat wave come through, and after immediately notifying us, Toby went beyond the call of duty and inspected our struggling AC unit to pinpoint the issue. As far as cat care is concerned, we have two seniors (who have more sensitive tummies) that can get irritated after a fur ball or swallowing anything out of the ordinary. When this occurred, Toby & Chloe stepped in and took wonderful care of our cat duo; softening their food and even cradling while hand-feeding them for extra comfort. We truly could not have asked for more affectionate and responsible sitters. We returned to a spotlessly clean home, happy cats, and well maintained plants and pool. (They even cleaned our dusty Kitchen pendant lighting, which requires a steady hand and is definitely a time-commitment …We felt like professional housecleaners had been there!) On our way back, Toby & Chloe stayed in communication with us to monitor our arrival time, allowing them to care for our cats until just before we got home. Overall, they are very reliable and trustworthy sitters whose genuine goal is to provide a top-quality sit, while maintaining your household and seamlessly transitioning to your pets daily schedule.
Is it better to board cats or leave at home?
Veterinarians advising to leave cats at home with a pet sitter who will stay overnight in your home, boarding is not recommended for cats as they are stressed in a new environment, you can find a sitter who will care for your cats and home for free at Zeewoi.
How much should you pay someone to watch your cat?
At least $20 per visit, per overnight watching in your home, otherwise you can find a free sitter at Zeewoi.
What do people do with their cats when they go on vacation?
Inviting a cat sitter to your home, boarding the cat with a local business, asking a friend, family or neighbour to feed and check the well-being. The most efficient way to leave your cat during your vacation is with Zeewoi cat sitters for free, in this way, you will save cat sitting costs and make vacation not only for you but also for your cat sitter!
We just bought a home in the area and we have a small dog. Since we cannot get him into our regular groomers until later in the month, we thought we may see what’s in the new area. I looked online and read some reviews and thought we’d give this company a try. The lady on the phone was nice enough. We scheduled for Wednesday and she said, drop off is between 8 & 9AM. We got there about 5 mins after 8AM. I took my dog out and walked to the door. It said open, I pulled the handle and it was locked. A man with an unwelcoming expression pointed at the sign a couple of times. The sign that said, “open Wednesday’s through Saturday’s - drop off from 8-9.” I believe that’s what it says, remember this is my very first time! I took my dog and left. I got a really bad vibe about that place! I left and will never return. I believe we dodged a bullet! If I could take away my one star, I would…
I love Dog's Day Out. I've been taking my aussie here since I rescued her about a year ago and with a history of abuse, I was worried about the care she would recieve from normal groomers. When I bring her here I am always at ease. My dog never seems nervous or put off by this place and that gives it an A in my book! The owner is very flexible, friendly, and does a fantastic job. I'm moving thirty minutes away and I'll still be coming back.
My Great Dane had an accident as we were traveling through town. The team at Dog’s Day Out happily and quickly worked us into their schedule. We were able to get cleaned up and back on the road in no time! :)
My pup is a bit of a piglet and as stubborn as a mule. I can't imagine he's fun to groom! They clean him up breautifully each and every time. They always add little touches for the holidays. He may not enjoy the holiday bows, but I love them while they last!
My pup seem to be happy with his bath, cut and trimmed nails! He keeps posing like, I know I'm handsome! Dogs day out has great customer service and did a fantastic job on the grooming. I'm happy too!
I have a senior dog that is 14 years old. I have taken him there a couple of times and the last time I took him there he could hardly get out the door before peeing an excessive amount, which lead to a bladder infection and a steep veterinary bill. This groomers drop off time is between 8-9 and pickup is between 4-5. I called and asked the groomer if I could pick up my dog as soon as she was done with him so we could avoid having him kenneled all day with out being able to go out and pee. She said absolutely not, she said she couldn’t take the time to give me my dog when she was done with him. In my opinion this groomer does not have the compassion for the dogs that are in her care while being groomed, therefore I would strongly urge anyone who loves and cares for their fur babies to seek a different groomer with a little more compassion for the dogs that are in her care.
Have taken my senile schnauzer, my toy fox terrier, my 2 Yorkers 3 and 7 lbs and my 100 lbs German Shepherd service dog. Always happy to see my kids Dana is nice and playful with the day care dogs. And does a great job grooming them. She is also very observant with the dogs and if something looks or feel wrong she will get a hold of you and tell you they need a vet visit. And she has not ever been wrong and stopped serious issues before they started.
Dana does good work. She is very nice and a down to earth lady. Molly was good no bad news about her 😊 Molly was glad to leave ,she looked really good ,her friends were in car and anxious to see them. I'll go back when her time comes! Very pleased! …
Love the ladies at Dogs day out they were so nice and good job on my polo 😘 …
I’ve been taking ALL (5)of my doggies to Dana for as long as she’s been in business. NO ONE HAS DONE A BETTER JOB THAN SHE! I’d recommend her to anyone that cares about their fuzzy companions. She’s a miracle worker.
I've used both the Blue Springs and Lees Summit locations for my sweet girl and they are both fantastic! If I ever had any doubts they would be solved by how excited my pup gets whenever I mention daycare! The prices are extremely reasonable and they do a great job grooming as well! My baby absolutely hates being groomed but she has no issues with them doing it at Cuddle Up Pup! Can't recommend them enough!
Worst of the worst doggie day care!! The staff could care less about our fur babies!! Molly in particular was so rude and immediately spoke of our huskies as "willing to work with"..our girls have always been great in other doggie day cares...I would never ever bring them back here. They basically had them in a room for about an hour and when they finally decided to bring them out to interact with the other dogs, our huskies were super anxious..it was horrible!! Our huskies were so anxious when we went to pick them up it was obvious these staff members didn't treat our girls right!!! On top of it they were soaked!! Like why? It was not raining so why were they so wet?!!! I do not trust them and will never ever bring them back again!! I feel so discriminated against and like they didn't have the time of day for our huskies!! Horrible experience!!! I would not recommend!!!
BEST DOGGIE DAY CARE THERE IS!!! Our dog Lottie LOVES it here. The staff knows Lottie by name and are so welcoming. They do fun activities for the dogs. Lottie loves the days they do bubble activities. They have themed photo shoots each month. The photos are too cute! We buy our packages in bulk which makes the daily price a fantastic deal.
Absolutely love Cuddle Up Pup for our dog. The staff is very compassionate and ask all the questions to make sure they care for your pup the way you would at home. I also am very impressed with their grooming services. Our dog is always excited to be dropped off for boarding or daycare, and is always ready to home freshly groomed! I have a hard time trusting others to care for our dog but Cuddle Up Pup’s staff does a phenomenal job and I will never trust anyone else again. 100% recommend their services. The Blue Springs location is just as phenomenal if Lee’s Summit is not able to get your pup in!
If you are questioning the deshedding service, do it. Our six month old husky mix had it done and it is life changing. We went from vacuuming every other day to 1-2 times a week! She went from having 4-6 "fur caterpillars" from daily brushing to 1-2. It's made a huge difference in how much she cuddles and interacts with us too! She chooses to sleep in bed with us rather than on the cool tile. Thanks to Cuddle Up Pup, I have my cuddly puppy back!
First time to doggie daycare, and very impressed. Dogs seemed to enjoy their visit. Will definitely be back!
Cuddle Up Pup is a great place for boarding those special friends we call our puppies. The front desk folks are very friendly and the prices very much in line with or below the other competitors around town. We have also had our pups bathed during a stay so they were clean upon our return. They love animals and that makes us very comfortable knowing that all is well when we're away traveling.
I boarded my Heeler for 48 hours with Cuddle Up Pup...I was extremely nervous to leave my shy girl but the staff were great and trustworthy. They took great care of my baby and she came back home all tuckered out from all the play. Will definitely be using them for our future boarding needs. It's also reasonably priced.
I just take my 2 little girls here for their nails. The young ladies up front are always friendly and caring and do a wonderful job with them.
Our pup Thor was there for over a week. He came home happy and tired lol 😂 only suggestion I have is to post vacation photos on Facebook/Instagram so we can “check” on our pups without bothering you guys… …
I used their daycare services for a few weeks while I was in the area for work and I couldn’t possibly be happier! I have to visit the area regularly so finding a good place I could really trust was very important to me. I did a tour and found the staff to be friendly and informative, and the facility was clean and safe. I really love that their play yards have turf because my pup likes to roll in dirt but that wasn’t a concern here. My little man Camo was well cared for and very clearly loved by everyone there during our visit, which definitely made me feel a lot better about having to leave him while I worked. I also had Camo bathed on the last day and he smelled great for the road trip home, so I highly recommend their groomers too. Thanks so much for everything Summit Pet Care, I look forward to using your services again soon!
Let me start but saying they are not adequately taking care of dogs. Last week on Monday I had just gotten my dog his haircut and also his vaccine I dropped him off at this establishment and on Tuesday I received a called that Trigger our little dog escaped and was attack by another dog but it was a little scrape nothing big and that they took him to the vet. And it looked like the raw skin was cause because the collar I had on him was too tight. I said what really? Because I just took him to the vet and she said he looked great healthy and we were doing a good job taking care of him. On Saturday Jodi calls and says that Trigger is doing great playing with small pups bc they put him over there because he shouldn't be around our Rottweiler? I said but we live together they play but they love each other and she said well had to put him with the smaller dogs. We arrived into town on Monday to come home to our pet all bruised up and he has a big bite mark that was deep around his little neck another one above his eye and one around his tiny paw. With so much bruises we couldn't even pick him up. So today we took him in to a second vet visit bc they did not give us the original documents. Bc my cousin pick the dogs up and they said because he spoke no English they didn't give him any documentation. Which is kind of rude to say. They change the story today they told us another dog had escape and bit trigger. But we took him to Kennedy who confirm our fear that Trigger had been bit bc the different depts of the teeth that had been imprinted in him and he had so much pressure that even his eye bulge out, our poor puppy. Finally after waiting 40 minutes at this place for documents of trigger they give us the documents stating trigger was mauled by another dog. We paid 588 for both dogs. Originally we only asked reimbursement for one of our dogs but after all the run around, the extra medicine, extra vet visit, and we are going next week again to the vet we asked for full reimbursement and they refused. We endure a lot on our first day back but our dog endure way more and they didn't give us his old collar or his old bandana bc I bet is tore up. And we had to buy that and is just sad how traumatize and jumpy our dog is, he never was like that before. Beware taking your dog here. Last picture is trigger before the attack... our poor baby
Update to owners response: I was told by two different staff remembers when I called that the Bordetella vaccine would be administered by the staff orally after I dropped my dog off. This was confirmed one last time when my vet sent my dogs vaccination records to you. Based on your reply it seems you take no accountability for you and your staffs actions. Also, I wasn’t going to call and complaint about the urine soaked bed. I had already determined not to board there again and leave it at that. But now that my dog is severely ill I felt it was in the best interest of others to know this information. This review was to protect warn others of your negligence. Again, please do NOT board your dog here if you care about their well being! I did quite a bit of research on this facility and spoke with the staff multiple times as well as going to visit several months prior to my dogs stay. My dog does have anxiety but after speaking with the staff and receiving a tour my husband and I felt comfortable leaving him here while we were away. My 80lb pit/lab mix stayed in an indoor/outdoor run. When we picked him up after his 4 day stay his bed (we brought from home) was soaked with urine all the way through the bedding. It also had feces on it as well. They said they tried to clean off the feces. We did pay for extra walks/outings. They were supposed to give my dog his Bordetella vaccine which they did not. He now has Kennel Cough and has been sick for 2 weeks. I would not recommend this place to anyone! We are so disappointed in the care our dog received especially putting my dog and other dogs at risk for Kennel Cough due to not vaccinating.
I have been a client at Summit pet care for 15 years. I trust them with my fur family. They are kind, caring, and compassionate. We also appreciate all the fun they create for our puppy. We have never had any issues with them and will continue to go there for another 15+ years best in town
I have been bringing my dog here for the last 6 years. He gets plenty of exercise with a lot of various activities. I always look forward to his daycare Report Cards. They are great! We are very lucky to have such a great Daycare for our special pets. Support Small Local Businesses. Thank you!
I’m revising my 4/5 to a 3/5. We started taking our pups here in 2021. I do feel like my pups are happy here and we love the indoor/outdoor kennels BUT we have boarded them several times in the past 12 months and have not been able to get consistent photos of our dogs as we request which is an additional cost. We are never charged for it when we don’t receive this service but I look forward to these photos when we are away. There are no cameras to check up on them. My dogs are literally my babies. I’ve talked to one of the new managers and she was extremely nice and understanding. But we boarded them again, and no photos. It’s not a deal breaker for us because we do feel like they get good service otherwise.
I have been taking Hank to Summit Pet Care for about the past month and we have had such a positive experience. They were recommended to us by someone from the shelter where Hank came from. He was initially nervous to leave me, but now he is so excited every morning to go and whines with excitement when we arrive. The employees know him by name and always seems so happy when I pick him up. I love following their Facebook page to see all of the happy dogs! I recommend this place to everyone I know, especially talk it up at the dog park for all of the other parents with energetic dogs! He comes home worn out, which I love because I know he got to burn some energy and getting socialization. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Great Place❣️❣️ I was too sad to take pictures, but I wish I had. The entire staff was so nice. The website gives a thorough explanation of all the services and the place looks just like the pictures they post. I left my “road dog “for the weekend, typically she goes with me whenever I’m in the car. So this was a huge adjustment for us both. I came to pick her up thinking she would run into my arms with joy and excitement. She ran past me to a treat display 😂😂. Clearly she had been well loved and didn’t mind taking a break 😀 I couldn’t ask for a more perfect reunion. Or a better endorsement for the care Summit Pet Care provides.
Great place! Unbeatable Prices Amazing staff that make you feel like family My dog loves playing in daycare. I trust summit pet care when I go on vacations and board him. if I ask for updates they always deliver.I wouldn't trust my fur babies with any other place
I've been bringing my pups here for years! They take such great care of them. My dog was extremely shy when he first went to daycare but with the counselors working with him he is a social butterfly I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else
Robin did a fantastic job on my dog kiki and I’m pleased. She’s was very sweet! And happy I found a good place when I could. 👍👍 …
This was our first time coming here and they were great! We usually leave our dog Duke with a family member when we travel but this time they went with us. Our family member is close friends with the owners mom and suggested we use them and they did not disappoint! We were very nervous to leave him with strangers but Tracy communicated with us all week and kept us updated and reassured. There was a little confusion when we picked him up that was completely my fault but Tracy was very responsive and worked everything out quickly! Duke seemed happy and doing great when we got him and that was so good to see! Thank you for taking such great care of him!
My pup Sharkee has been going to Robin the groomer for a few years now. She is AMAZING!! Sharkee loves his time there! Robin is gentle and kind and listens to her clients.
I am so happy with my dogs stay at Kate’s! The staff was so friendly and helpful. This was my first time leaving Gigi alone for more than a weekend and i was more than anxious about it. Tracey sent me a few updates (see update below, Gigi is the little dog with the big dogs - she’s bossy! Lol) and was very communicative. I had to change my check out date/time for Gigi a few times as well based on friends availabilities and they were totally fine with it and just so helpful and sweet. Highly recommend this place and Gigi will be back! :)
Have been using Kate’s for my little dog, Weasel for over 12 years :) she’s always taken care of, and loves seeing her friends (canine and human) when I drop her off. As she is getting older and slower it is a huge relief and blessing for me to take her somewhere that I know she is safe, happy, and cared for. ❤️
I’ve been taking my dog Larry there for just over a year. He’s a very high energetic dog and daycare does wonders for tiring him out (especially In the summertime when it’s too hot to walk him). Staff is great and Larry loves going!
The owner and her staff are absolutely wonderful. We have always had a great experience at Kate's canine resort. And our dog Lee-o loves going there. We always feel very comfortable when leaving Lee-o with the staff at Kate's.
We've been taking our dog to doggy daycare at Kate's for over a year now and absolutely love it! I love that we can drop him off for daycare any day, without having to book ahead of time and know that he is being well cared for and loved while he's at Kate's. Definitely recommend!
We took our dog for the first time for boarding and it was a great experience! The staff was friendly and checking in and out was a smooth process. Getting a video report card by text of our dog was definitely a plus! Our dog seemed happy and we didn't have any issues. We'll be taking our dog there in the future!
My dog acts like he doesn't know me when he gets here. He loves hanging out with the staff and the other dogs. It's such a relief knowing your pet is taken care of and you don't have to worry while you are away from your pet!!!
I left my 4 month old Beagle for a few hours for trial daycare. When I asked where all the animals were, I was told it was quiet time and they would all be let out at noon to play for the afternoon. (It was 1130am) When I returned at 3pm, there were still no dogs in the play areas inside or outside. (I wanted to see her playing with the other dogs) The person at the front desk answered “I don’t know” when I asked the play times, where my pup was, if she had played, had they had playtime out of the kennels this afternoon… etc. I had to ask several times to retrieve my pup and saw that she was pulled out of a kennel that she was placed into when I left her there. I took video of them getting her out and she was shaking with her head down. I asked to speak to a manager and ended up speaking to another employee who later stated she wasn’t management. Her reason for the extended period in the kennel was that “staff needed a break”. Paying for daycare means your pet is looked after, has walks and potty time, gets fed and nurtured. If I wanted to stuff her into a kennel all day, I wouldn’t bother looking for care. It took the entire car ride home and several hours for her to calm. She also wreaked of urine odor and had to be bathed immediately. (She’s fully potty trained at home). I had heard good things about their other location so was very disappointed to experience severe negligence.
Before posting this, I have attempted to talk to local and corporate but no one has responded to me. My dog was at the LS location from 6/16 to 6/24. I checked on her mid-week and was told she was doing fine. When we picked her up on 6/24 she was lethargic and could barely get in the car. We got her home and she would not eat or drink. She also did not pee the rest of the day or overnight. The next morning, we got her into the vet. She was severely dehydrated and had to be hospitalized for 4 days. She had also lost 6 pounds. I called and talked to whoever was in charge (not the manager who was out). This person remembered my dog and acknowledged they missed some things. She told me her manager would call me; no one did. I emailed; no response. I received the same level of customer service from corporate. My concerns are many. Clearly, she was not doing fine. At some point during her stay, she was not eating or drinking water which means she was likely not peeing while there. Why does no one notice obvious health changes? I am also disappointed in the lack of communication. We have trusted you with our pets for years and I guess as long as your pet is healthy, your pet will likely be fine. My pet was not fine and her condition was overlooked. This is truly disappointing and we will not return.
We have left our 165lb Daniff with them over multiple long weekends. She gets extra play time with the other dogs and some extra treats/toys when requested. Larger rooms are available, too. She is also bathed before pickup, a very nice touch👍 The staff is always helpful and friendly and eager to see our dog when we bring her in. …
The workers were nice, very clean facility. The place was great! We took our puppy for 2 days but he has never been away from us. When we picked him up he was in the playroom with the other dogs he was huddled in the corner shivering and scared. He didn't understand he was just there for the day. We would definitely try this again though if needed.
Our pet has stayed multiple times at this facility and we’ve always had a good experience. This time, our dog had health issues during her stay. We were frequently updated and informed on her status. They even offered to take her to the vet while we were gone. When we came early to pick her up, a staff member was laying with her in her kennel cuddling her. Knowing that my pet is as thoroughly loved while we are out of town is something I would never be able to thank the staff enough for and is priceless. Thank you to every member of the staff and we will keep you updated on Bean!
I have 2 chihuahuas and as most people know, they do not like being anywhere but home with their owners. I have boarded our dogs at other facilities and upon pickup, they are usually stressed out to the point that they’re shedding their fur and it takes hours for them to come back to their normal temperament. Pete and Mac’s in Lee’s Summit is the only place I’ve boarded my dogs and they are calm and happy at pick-up. Workers can tell you whatever you want to hear about how your pets did and how they were treated, but the proof is in the pudding (or pick up 😊) at this place. It is the ONLY place in town I trust when we have to travel.
Pete & Mac's is AMAZING!! They worked with me coming in from out of state and treated my dog Cookie like their own. I even received a call the next day with the staff checking on her. I can not say enough good things about this place - clean, friendly, and affordable.
My dogs love it here and always have a good time. They come back exhausted and are so happy to go in and come out from boarding. The staff is incredibly kind and great to work with and with their new medicine process I don't have to doubt if my sweet little boy gets his allergy meds, because I know he will get them on time! No interview required for daycare or boarding makes it the perfect place for dogs that need a little bit more than 30 minutes to show their true colors and play well with others.
I have been taking my fur baby here since she was 16 weeks and I won’t take her anywhere else. The staff is amazing and they take great care of all the fur babies!! They are simply the BEST and I highly recommend if you are looking for a place to board or take your dog for daycare.
The pet guardians really get to know your pet so they are familiar with all the little details to ensure your pet has an enjoyable stay. I feel like my dog is welcomed and cared for. Everyone is friendly and responsive. I wish they had cameras so I can check on my doggie while he is away but I always feel like I can call and check in. The pet guardians also complete a “ report card” that lets you know about your pet’s experience during their stay which is awesome! This should definitely be a place you seriously consider when boarding your beloved pet.
We had been boarding Mochi at this location for the past 5 years. The staff was always easy to work with and communicating either through phone or text was a breeze. There are currently a total of 3 play areas for slow, medium and high energy pups. Great for pups whether they love to socialize or sleep all day. There are also cameras set up for you to remotely view the play areas while your pet is staying there. Drop off and pickup could not be easier and their available overnight pickup/dropoff is a huge plus. This week we said goodbye to Mochi at 14.5 years old. He was always excited to come visit with his friends and I could not recommend this location enough. Thanks Collar Club for everything!
We adore Collar Club! My pups tend to be anxious and the staff all work hard to making them feel comfy. Ashleigh in grooming has been exceptionally patient with them. Jessica is truly a queen with training and handling them in general. I always feel very safe leaving my pups there because I know they’re getting incredible care
Convenient location, modern, clean-looking facility, nice staff. Seems like an OK place to leave my dogs, but it wouldn’t be my top choice because their daycare section which is included in boarding, had way too many dogs together and it just seemed sort of chaotic. There were probably 30 to 40 dogs in one of the large Play areas near the front entrance. It seemed a little crowded for the dogs, and I noticed them constantly milling around and some of them getting a little aggressive with each other, which the staff immediately addressed. I’ve had my dogs stay at another kennel (Hounds Town) in Florida, which had a similar daycare concept, but there were much less dogs together, and you just didn’t see the amount of tension that you saw in the dogs here. There was also a very strong dog smell when I picked up the dogs and when I dropped them off. Hounds town did not have any odor at all. Maybe not a huge deal, but I imagine how overstimulating that might be for a dog, whose nose is of course much better than mine. Overall, this was an OK place but would not be my first choice.
Been there since the onset of COVID. The front desk staff is excellent. Our dogs never stop moving after two 2 Mike walks a day. This is our dogs after after today’s Play Day.
The Collar Club Waldo is the best in KCMO - it’s safe, scrupulously clean & really good value for money. The team there however, set us apart from the rest - they’re knowledgeable, they care deeply about the dogs & they’re stable (which speaks volumes about Collar Club culture). We feel blessed to be a part of the pack!
Took our two dachshunds to collar club for the first time and was very happy with the communication from the team! Also love that you can view webcams and check in on them. No crates and they encourage you to brings beds and toys for your dogs.
My dog Munich stayed at the Waldo location recently. The employees there were excellent and gave prompt and professional notifications about my dog. The live video of the dogs too were a great experience. I would definitely recommend Collar Club to anyone.
I love Collar Club. We have our dogs groomed there and they always look like a million bucks afterwards. Our dogs have some behavior issues we’ve worked on since adopting them but they still struggle with some things and the staff does a great job managing them, which I really appreciate. The staff is courteous, communicative and everybody there truly adores dogs. Wonderful place.
My dog, Lou, has gone here for years and I have always been thoroughly impressed by the facility and staff. I love when they smile and say his name when we walk in the front door. All dog tenders are extremely attentive and are very in tune with all dogs in the facility. Example below- My dog was in high energy for his first few years as he was extremely playful- Recently, when I would watch him on camera, I had noticed he was sitting in the corner and looked overwhelmed. Without me mentioning this to Collar Club, they informed me they were moving him to the medium energy room-- they too had noticed a change in his behavior and felt he would be more comfortable in medium energy. After a few times in the medium room, I noticed he was playing again and no longer just sitting in the corner. Collar Club once again updated me saying they were really happy with his progress and he was getting back to his normal self. WOW! I am amazed and grateful how in tune they are and that they take time to read individual dogs. They truly care. Thank you, Collar Club!!! -Lou's Mom
We LOVE collar club! I have a very reactive pup who was rescued from a bad breeding situation. She doesn’t like strangers or new places. Multiple groomers haven’t been able to work with her. The wonderful folks at collar club are so patient and gentle with her. She comes back happy and clean every time!
Toby loves coming to On The Ball for daycare. He’s been a regular since he was a puppy, so he’s made many friends! We feel lucky to have a quality doggie daycare in our neighborhood…especially love to see Mary, Brianne and all the guys who love on Toby each time we drop him off!
My furry ones Baxter and Cyrus love going to On The Ball when I go on vacation. I always know that they are safe and having so much fun playing with their furry friends. I love being able to check in with them on the webcams from time to time to see them playing.
We love love OTB! We've been bringing our dog (Toni) here for a little over 2 years since she was a young pup. We had a pretty bad experience at another local shop and so thankful we found On the Ball. The staff is great and so attentive! Toni is a frequent at doggie daycare, she loves it so much. They also have fun add-ons during daycare - sometimes even a cute photoshoot! We fully recommended anyone needing boarding, grooming, or daycare to OTB.
I have been on the search for a good groomer for my sheepadoodle puppy and after 4 attempts at different locations I think we finally found the place!!! Alana was our groomer and she did such a wonderful job and they were very timely which is nice when you have a “nervous nelly” puppy. We are so excited to have found a place we can rely on.
On the ball is a great place to take your dog for grooming. Russell comes home looking and smelling fresh. They accommodate our specific requests on his haircut as well. We will always chose on the ball for our grooming needs
We love On the Ball and so does Munson! It’s so nice having somewhere to go where they know my dog and take great care of him. I love when they have special days like lick mat, dance party or 1 on 1 time. I love that I can watch him on the cameras and they are always so nice and understanding when I call to check on him 😬 which is probably very annoying but hey, we love our pups! Thank you all!
We have been taking our dog Rick to On the Ball since August of 2019 and we cannot say enough good things about this doggy daycare and boarding! Meagan and her team go above and beyond to make sure Rick is loved, cared for and dog-tired by the time we pick him up. Rick has learned the word 'daycare' and gets very excited when asked if he wants to go. He really enjoys spending time with his dog friends and human friends at On the Ball each week. One of my top favorite features is the live webcams - it allows me to check in on him at any time. We have also boarded him with On the Ball on several occasions and they do their absolute best to make sure he eats (he doesn't like to while we are away) and gets all the love, attention, and treats while he stays with them! We highly recommend On the Ball for all doggy daycare or boarding needs!
LOVE OTB! I'm about as picky as you can be when choosing a location to have my dogs boarded. I love that they require updated vaccines from all boarded pets. The staff is so good with animals that need a little special attention. My dog has a very sensitive stomach and they prepare his food just like I do. It's clean and there's lots of room for play. I also love that there are video cameras that you can watch to see how your dog is doing. I'm really happy with this place and more importantly so is my dog!
Our mini golden doodle, Cheerio, loves going to On the Ball in Prairie Village. He gets super excited when we pull up to the shop. We’ve boarded him, taken him for play days, and had him groomed. We have been extremely pleased with all of the services. The groomer is especially good with hairy golden doodle ears! My kids love to check in on Cheerio via the web cameras. We watch him having a blast with the other dogs & getting lots of love from Meagan & her staff. We’re happy to be supporting a great local business!
Milo and Frye always look SO much better after a day at On The Ball! They love playing with all the cute doggies before they get cleaned up and the staff at On The Ball is amazing!
