What a joy and an honor it was to have Phyllis and Jerry care for my home and my pets. I could write an epistle to describe in detail how much they did and how well they accomplished each responsibility. Our correspondence began many months ahead of my posted dates. Throughout this time, we stayed connected, and as we got closer, we shared more details about my home and care for the pets. Response time was prompt, friendly and courteous. They were incredibly flexible and understanding when I had to adjust my flight time and date. They arrived early on my departure day so we could have time for orientation, lunch, and conversation. Phyllis and Jerry were meticulous in following the instructions I left for cat and home care. They were dedicated to assuring me that things at home were going well by sending pictures of the cats included with special vignettes. They were respectful of my home and took great care of everything as if it were their own. For example, when the hose unexpectedly burst in the back yard on a hot day, they carried water in a bucket to my young Arbor Vitae trees. They are the kind of people who go the “extra mile” based on their high values and elevated work ethics. When I returned home, everything was glistening and spotless. The carpets had been vacuumed, the laundry completed, the dishwasher and waste baskets emptied, the stove shined, and the kitty litter was scooped and cleaned. My fur babies were happy and relaxed, an indication that they had excellent care while I was away. A delightful surprise was the colorful Autumn gift basket and note they left on the counter. I highly recommend Phyllis and Jerry in every way. They exceeded my expectations and fulfilled every task. They are friendly, enthusiastic, and fun to be around, and both have had a wide variety of experiences that translate into good common sense and wise decisions. It was truly my privilege to have the opportunity to meet them and to benefit from all they had to offer me, my home, and my cats.

Hodan and Sami continue to be great guests in our home and caretakers of our cats! We’ve had them stay before and they continue to be a pleasure. Our cats were well taken care of and Sami does a fantastic job at keeping us updated. He even checked in to make sure that the food machines were full and double checked to make sure that the right food was used to refill them. They were also flexible with our schedule as our flight was cancelled and we had to arrive the next day. To make sure our cats were well taken care of, they stayed longer to keep the cats company. We’d recommend Hodan and Sami to anyone who wants to ensure a great stay!

Suzanne is the most organized sitter we have encountered through zeewoi. She actually had a list of 30 well thought out questions for us during our first FaceTime call. She excelled at remaining in communication with us both before and during our sit. Meeting her was like meeting a ray of sunshine. She immediately set out to bond with JD and Leilani from the first moment she met them. Her daily videos were greatly appreciated. It was clear to us that our fur babies were in great hands. When the second leg of our return trip was delayed due to weather which caused the airline to rebook our last leg until the next morning she graciously altered her own plans to accommodate the change in our original plans. She dropped us off at the airport and picked us up upon our return. Suzanne takes pride in her pet sitting and is truly a gem. Your pets will be well cared for. We highly recommend Suzanne.

Toby and Chloe were amazing pet sitters. It wasn’t the easiest sit - a nervous dog and 3 cats with various ailments and medication to have, but they took it all in their stride and cared for them so well without any issues. Our nervous dog Zelda warmed to them in just 2 days which is a record for house sitters so far! I also really enjoyed getting to know them over dinner the night before I left, they’re very easygoing and positive people. They also left the house spotless for when I came back. I would love to have them sit for us again. You can rest assured your house and animals are in safe hands with this lovely pair!

It was the first time we had left both our dog and our cat with a TH sitter and Kristi went above and beyond. Karen was an extraordinary house and pet sitter who I hope to invite back again soon. You would be extremely fortunate to have her take care of your pets and home. From the very beginning she radiated calmness, knowledge, caring and curiosity. We had a great initial conversation where Karen answered questions I didn't even know I should be asking, and asked excellent questions so she could be prepared and understand the special needs for both my cat and home. She flew into my city the day before I was leaving and stayed at a nearby hostel so that we could meet in person and do a walk through of my home. They say pets have an intuitive nature about people, and I knew Karen would be a winner when my normally very shy/nervous cat came right up and let her pet him. Karen sent wonderful pictures and updates while I was gone and asked questions when she wasn't sure about something. When I returned home everything was spotless and my cat was content. Pennee and Bill were the BEST pet sitters and guests ever! I really wanted them to stay forever ! Our cat, Miss Kitty bonded so much to them, that she really wasn’t that happy to see me when I got home .Our cat is a finicky eater and they tried all different types of food and treats for her. They sent me regular photos of miss kitty and I knew everything was great when most of the pics had miss kitty on their lap. Our cat doesn’t take to many people but she immediately fell in love with them. Pennee sent us our mail and prescription meds on a regular basis , and went out of her way to take care of any issues . They fell in love with the neighbors and community and just made our lives so easy . We experienced the Covid 19 virus outbreak quarantine during this time and Pennee and Bill agreed to stay a month longer at our home . They were extremely flexible with their travel plans so that everyone would be safe. Upon our arrival home, we were greeted with a bouquet of flowers , beautiful hanging basket of flowers for outdoors and a beautiful bottle of wine . And our house had never been cleaner ! Bill and Pennee are a pet owners dream couple !I felt extremely lucky to have found such a great petsitter and new friend . We will be visiting each other in the future .
