Seàn was an amazing pet and house sitter! He was super communicative and took amazing care of my dog Nala and cat Bruce. They were happy and loved while I was away- I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for the two little fur babies! He sent great pictures and checked in every day so I had nothing to worry about. On top of all that, he also kept my place immaculately clean and left my place in wonderful shape. We can’t wait to have him back to sit and I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone looking for a sitter!

Pares is an experienced and quality sitter and we knew our cat Juniper (and a few plants) was well cared for. We received regular updates and photos which was really nice to have during our travels. While we missed Juniper, we could see that she enjoyed receiving cuddles and attention from Pares. Upon returning home, our flat was clean and tidy, and Juniper was very happy! Brian is a very professional sitter that does a good job, pays attention to details and is easy to work with. I have a lot of plants. A lot. He suggested me do a video for the plant care so he could be sure of which ones needed what. Brilliant! I’d never thought of that. They were in great shape when I returned. I explained that I needed some flexibility with travel dates, he agreed and rolled with the punches like a champ when my dates did indeed change. Unfortunately, he was a bit allergic to my cat but made it work anyway. He was really awesome about everything including a tree that fell next door in a storm and blocked the road for three days. I appreciate that he appreciated how funny and how much personality Boo has. They got along well and I received some great videos. I returned home to a happy cat and a house well taken care of 😊. I would definitely recommend Brian.

Someone was smiling down on us when Kevin and Mary clicked on our very first House Sitter advert. They are straightforward, pleasant, reliable and fun. They kept in touch about their own plans when their flights were delayed. They tactfully left the house when our own cancelled flights meant we were staying a few hours longer than first planned. They sent just the right amount of photos, videos and texts of our cat while we were away! We all loved that. And on our return, oh my word, the house fairies had been to visit! They somehow managed to walk the perfect line between improving everything, without interfering at all. Clean, tidy, replenished. They asked what food we’d like on our return and boy did they deliver! Home made bean stew :-) and different things for the children. Really kind and generous. Communication was clear and also witty..! They dealt with the churn of small mammals our “somewhat independent” cat brought through the flap without complaint. They are a really nice couple, exuding a lovely American warmth and charm. It was a real pleasure, Kevin and Mary, thank you.

Laura came across the country to sit for us. She arrived a day early and from the moment my pets met her our Lokie was smitten. We have one shy cat Luna and she was out and about on the first night. Laura kept us updated and shared her Adventures as well. We do live in a small hideaway of a town so seeing that she was able to enjoy herself was nice. We returned to a clean home, laundry done also, and very content pets. Lokie was sad for a few days as he missed his friend. We would recommend Laura as a sitter to anyone and would have her back again. 5 plus stars. ⭐

My husband and I are so grateful for Cendy staying with our ~1yr old cat for nearly a full month. We were nervous to leave her for so long but Cendy had Wilma literally eating out of the palm of his hand and snuggling with him in no time. Cendy was incredibly communicative with us and attentive to Wilma consistently for the entire duration of the sit which was such a relief and gave us the piece-of-mind needed to fully enjoy our trip. We returned back to an impeccably clean apartment and a very content kitty. For the first few days back Wilma was definitely looking around for Cendy, missing her buddy. We (and Wilma!) would welcome Cendy back any time, especially for a longer stay knowing how responsible of a sitter he was. Couldn't recommend enough!

Paige, David, and family were WONDERFUL sitters for my crew! They were so pleasant and personable, and the pets warmed up to them very quickly. Even my rescue cat who tends to stray away from men loved David. I received regular updates and communication (before and during the sit). I truly did not have any concerns while I was away knowing that everyone had such great care and attention given to them. (I know the dogs had a good time because when I came home there was no commotion over my return.) I was away on NYE and Paige had no issues keeping an eye on one of the dogs who has anxiety surrounding loud noises. The family cleaned up after themselves and may have left the house cleaner than when I left! Truly such a great family who I would welcome back any time!

Tonya was great and filled in after our other sitter had to cancel. She was very self sufficient and navigated acclimating herself to everything since she arrived after we left. I recently used this sitter service and was sooooo happy with the results. I had recently rescued two kittens who had been ill for the preceding two months prior to my vacation, have an elderly cat with renal failure on daily blood pressure medication, and one of my remaining two additional cats had a complete urethral obstruction and was hospitalized the morning of our departure to Europe for 2.5 weeks. Matt was so great and upon my return all of my cats were happy and healthy. Matt even facilitated contact with my family regarding an A/C issue that arose during our absence. AFITW have looked after pets for 4+ years. They came referred to us and we couldn’t be happier we found them. They come to walk our energetic dog during the workweek and multiple daily visits when we are out of town. They are super responsive and are accommodating to our sometimes changing schedules.
When we can't take our babies with us we call Friend in the Woods! They are wonderful! They are thorough with their details and paperwork. The animals come first, no matter what. I trust them explicitly, and am so glad to have found them! No more sad animals when we come home!
I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and I know that they are well taken care of when I leave town thanks to A Friend in the Woods. I have several animals who are older and need special care and that is all part of this service. They also have us call when we arrive back home so that they know that our animals are being cared for and they can discontinue the service. We will not use anyone else and can now travel with piece if mind!

Melissa and the staff are great. Day camp and boarding are both great and they have a great facility, with both outdoor and indoor rooms if the weather is bad. The best part is when all the dogs come to say hi when you come to pick up your dog.
Everything is Pawsible and the staff is AMAZING! Koda has so much fun and gets excited in the morning when I tell him we are going to daycare. I have also used them twice for boarding and will continue to do so. They treat your dog like their own and I put all of my trust in them to take care of my baby. We love you guys!
Ruby loves this place and all her friends. We do playcare but will board in future if need be. Prices are right. Location awesome and they are expanding. I’m glad it’s sort of a secret here at beaches. Im 8 blocks away and so so easy to give my young boisterous dog a place to play and socialize. Astrid convinced me to try them. And now my Scottie snd her Corgi are besties! Love love!
A great place for my grand dogs. They get so excited when I turn down the street. At the end of their visit, they are exhausted from all the play. We love the staff and their love for our fur babies.

What a great find for busy dog owners who live in apartments. Prices are reasonable, my dog gets excited when we pull up. So far so good…currently have my dog boarding there for a week. Very convenient and the staff is great.
I was very nervous about leaving our 2 Englich Bulldogs at boarding/daycare due to little exposure to other dogs. The staff especially Rachael was AWESOME in easing our nerves. Rachael reassured us with a video & updates.The staff KNOWS dog behaviournd well to group them with other dogs to play. Very pleased! Wonderful, clean, friendly, professional & affordable! Boarded my kitten for 2 days and came back to a happy kitten. He had the room to himself as they had no other “tenants” lol. They said he was a good kitten and didn’t have any issues. Which I am grateful and said he ate well. He has a sensitive stomach and we were nervous overall happy with them and the service they provided. Also they loved him very much, and didn’t want him to leave. Would use them again in a heartbeat. Thank you again for taking care of Ash. Picture for cuteness.
I love this place! I have a puppy and it’s great to be able to bring her in for daycare - so much socialization, play time, and no more destroyed shoes haha. The staff here love dogs and are very friendly. They’re responsive, they prioritize safety, and they’re willing to work with you if your pup is having any issues. The kennel itself is clean, the yard is large, and there’s plenty of ways the dogs get their play in.

I can sum up how much I love Beach Bark’s doggie daycare in one sentence: I drive all the way from Murray Hill to bring my dog here. I have tried so many doggie daycares in JAX and Beach Bark is far above them all. There are acres of land for them to run and play, green grass, a clean pond (without a doubt that would be Eloise’s favorite), and there is always someone present. They spend most of the day outside playing but there is also a barn for them to go lay down, cool off or wait out a short Florida storm. Also, they always send me pictures at the end of the day (sometimes a video❤️). I was lucky enough to stumble across an article on Beach Bark in Unleash mag a couple years ago because this Google entry doesn't highlight the daycare-- Visit the website and give them a call!! Daycare is located off Roscoe Blvd and there are pick up and drop off services (for those in PV--not Murray Hill). Hands down best daycare. I only wish my pup could go more often!

Shannon and her staff are professional and kind. They truly love animals. The doggy daycare service is amazing. The dogs spend the day in a beautiful farm where they can swim in a lake and run around freely. My dog loves both the place and the people, and his behavior is much calmer at home. I can’t recommend them enough!

Jaki runs the best pet sitting and dog walking service in Jax! Super easy online scheduling, 100% reliable, and my dogs absolutely love them. I schedule workday walks around 10x per month plus use Echo Pet services for overnights any time I have gone away for the last 5+ years - never anything but great care for my precious pups. They send journal reports for every visit, and the included pics show me how happy my dogs are with their great pet sitters. I can't recommend Echo Pet Care any higher.

We LOVE Pooches Playhouse!!! My dog has been going there for 10 years! He gets so excited on the days he gets to go see all his friends! The staff are amazing! They take such great care of the dogs and love them so much! My dog absolutely adores the staff there and is excited to see them every time! They make sure the dogs rest if it's hot out, and give them inside room to play when it rains. They have lots of pools and drinking water when it's hot out and they even celebrate their birthdays! They have a lunch/nap time so they can rest, and they watch each dog to make sure they are acting "normal"... meaning, for example, my dog had just gotten over an ear infection, and I asked them to let me know if he was shaking his head a lot... they gave me a full report when I got there to pick him up! They do super fun activities for the dogs... like summer pool parties, visits from Santa and the Easter Bunny... even a kissing booth on Valentine's Day! They truly care about each and every dog... and we wouldn't take our baby anywhere else!
Our JRT pup is SUPER active and absolutely loves Pooches Playhouse. She runs, plays in the pool, and has a chance to socialize with other canines under the watchful, and CARING eyes of PP Staff. Just uttering the words ‘Pooches Playhouse’ has Styx running to the door to jump in the car! We feel so lucky having this facility so close to us - Styx has fun and we have peace of mind….priceless.
My Roscoe, before he died of a cancerous tumor at age 7, loved going to Pooches Playhouse! He would run and play so hard with his friends that he would fall asleep in the car on the way home. Even after he lost his sight, he was still welcomed in and cared for. He loved the staff. And if I ever get another dog, Pooches Playhouse will be my #1!
Pooches' Playhouse is great! My dog loves going here for daycare. The staff is super friendly and trained. You don't have to worry about your dog when you drop them off and they'll be pooped when you pick them up!

We have been taking our dogs to Pooches Playhouse around 9 years and have boarded there several times. Karen and her staff are amazing with the dogs. They ensure their safety above all. Erin has been at Pooches as long as I can remember and handles everything in a very professional and friendly manner. Everyone at Pooches goes above and beyond to make sure the dogs are well cared for and their clients feel comfortable leaving family members in their care.
