Cung was a wonderful cat sitter and housesitter and we would happily invite him back again. He was excellent with our cats and sent plenty of photos, and also left the house impeccably clean. We had to come back a day early and so we got to spend some time with him which we enjoyed as well. 10 out of 10 recommend!

We were very lucky to have had Nia for our recent house sit. She communicated well before the sit and arrived as planned. We shared a meal before we left which gave us time to get to know her and tell her about the house and our pets.
After we left it soon became clear the cats loved Nia and the attention she gave them. We were kept informed throughout her stay with regular updates and video clips of what they were up to and how the garden was growing etc.
We highly recommend Nia as a pet/house sitter and we would certainly have her back should the opportunity arise.

Kathy and Ron have sat for us several times in the past and have always been excellent. They are our "go-to" pet and house sitters and we always check their availability before we post a sit. They are trustworthy, organized, communicate very well, and take great care of our cats and our house. We hope they will continue pet sitting for many years to come!

Joi did a wonderful job caring for my two cats and two guinea pigs, as well as caring for my home!  She is coming back in November for a long sit while I am out of the country and we all can’t wait.  Joi had experience with rabbits and jumped right in with guinea pig care.  She is so calm around them that they were sitting on her lap day one!  She spent time preparing their vegetables and kept their enclosure and room clean, which requires daily effort.  She even washed the floor mats in their room so it was fresh when I returned home.  She went above and beyond sending me daily photos and videos so I could see that everyone was healthy and happy.  It was apparent to me that she spent a lot of time with my pets, which is very important so they don’t become stressed and lonely when I am away.  Joi also took excellent care of my two cats.  They receive daily wet food with some medication and she ensured that they received it on time.  My cats barely noticed when I returned because they got so much attention from Joi.  She took excellent care of my front garden flowers and my tomato and herb hydroponic gardens.  These take some daily attention and time in the summer, and I returned home to them looking great!  Joi is a very caring, clean, and thoughtful sitter and I hope she comes back many more times!

Denae and Burl were absolutely fabulous house/pet sitters for 4 weeks,  Dec  2022- Jan 23.   They are very friendly and intelligent, caring towards the animals (2 cats and 1 lively dog), and left our home clean and tidy.  It all went very, very smoothly.   It was a pleasure to deal with such nice people.  We have invited them back whenever they want and hope the rest of their exploratory mission is a great success. Florence is everything you want in a cat sitter!  We have two cats that need a lot of human attention.  One takes multiple medications twice a day and they both are used to eating on their own schedule and having people around so it is always very important to us to find a pet sitter that will be spending a lot of time in the apartment and that doesn't mind being very attentive.  We were able to meet Florence before our trip and felt 100% confident that she would take great care of our cats.  Florence is comfortable giving medication, she sent us photos and updates and left our apartment spotless.  We were so happy that we had her come back the following week when we went away again for a short trip!  We will definitely contact Florence again whenever we travel and hope that she is available!

Amazing sitters - I feel so fortunate to have had them stay. Chapeau was treated to daily walks and belly rubs, and my cat Tica was overflowing with contentment from having been taken care of so well. The house was cleaner than I left it and I was treated to a nice note and a lovely candle upon my return. Also, they left a checklist of item that they had done while here. Truly above and beyond!

Jose was a wonderful pet/house sitter for us recently. We highly recommend him. He was wonderfully reliable and responsible and took such good care of our two pets.  

On short notice Jose drove down from Grass Valley to the East Bay for a bit of a quiet get-away while working a really hard job teaching online.  We know how hard that is firsthand and partly why we needed our own get-away for a last-minute backpacking trip.

We have a recently rescued pit bull and a rescued cat that we're still introducing to each other to make sure the dog doesn't eat the cat (as he seems to want to), and the cat doesn't blind the dog (as she would if he tried to eat her). That might be more background than is needed in a review but Jose made us feel comfortable about everything because of how conscientious and responsible he clearly is. We could tell when we talked to him that he was genuinely kind and eminently trustworthy.

We are very grateful and hope Jose was happy with everything too because we know what a value his care was to us. Jose truly deserves any and all house-sitting gigs that strike his interest. Ours was not the easiest and he was amazing.  Get him if you can.

I whole-heartedly recommend Carly and her partner Fanny to sit for you! They were fabulous and reliable house sitters from start to finish. Carly was timely and thoughtful in all of her communications and let us know the state of affairs in our apartment with our cat and plant babies while we were away. They followed our directions to a 'T.' We came home to find a happy cat, thriving plants, a spotless apartment and laundered linens. We would definitely consider contacting them again to house sit for us!
