Sam and Rachel were wonderful. They communicated well, were warm and helpful, and loved our cat and dog. They provided updates on the animals, the mail, and any odd things that happened (dehumidifier not working, our car getting a ticket) and helped us work through the issues from a distance. They took care of one episode where our dog had diarrhea, which needed clean up and a trip to the vet. They kept the house clean. They were able to adapt when I needed to come home a day later due to a death in the family. I would trust them completely. I should also mention that this is the first time we have had a house sitter with their own dog. It turned out to work out very well, as Plankton became good friends with both our cat and dog. I super highly recommend Sam and Rachel.

Actually Janice sat for us and I have only positive things to say. This was a rather long sit for her and a bit of a distance from her home but she took it all in stride - even the terrible weather during her sit. My beloved dog was clearly well cared for and mail, plants and house were all in perfect order upon our return. Janice communicated with us enough that we were confident all was well. The one or two questions that came up were easy to resolve from a distance and as I recall things I probably should have mentioned before leaving. We would welcome her back any time.

I was fortunate to have Hillary return for a second sit. She took excellent care of both my cat and my home. She got on well with my neighbors and even allowed my friend to come visit Suley while she was there. I especially appreciate how flexible and accommodating she was regarding arrangements for a sitter who would be taking over for the second part of my very long absence. All in all, Hillary is a gem!

Sabre is a sweet, honest person who stepped up at the very last moment (after the prior sitter flaked out) to watch our dog and cat for 17 days. When there were a couple minor accidents, she informed us of them right away. One involved a burnt pan (easy to do if you’re not familiar with an induction stovetop) which she offered to replace. Sabre also washed the towels and sheets, and made up the bed before we got home. The yard was pooper scooped and litter box was clean. Pets seemed well-cared for. When she had to leave town for several hours one day, she made sure to arrange for our neighbor take care of the pets. Additionally, I appreciated how she didn’t assume that it would be ok to bring her cat. When we found out she was going to keep her cat in a kennel during her stay here, we told her she could bring him which worked out fine. Overall, I would confidently recommend Sabre to watch your pets and house.

Someone was smiling down on us when Kevin and Mary clicked on our very first House Sitter advert. They are straightforward, pleasant, reliable and fun. They kept in touch about their own plans when their flights were delayed. They tactfully left the house when our own cancelled flights meant we were staying a few hours longer than first planned. They sent just the right amount of photos, videos and texts of our cat while we were away! We all loved that. And on our return, oh my word, the house fairies had been to visit! They somehow managed to walk the perfect line between improving everything, without interfering at all. Clean, tidy, replenished. They asked what food we’d like on our return and boy did they deliver! Home made bean stew :-) and different things for the children. Really kind and generous. Communication was clear and also witty..! They dealt with the churn of small mammals our “somewhat independent” cat brought through the flap without complaint. They are a really nice couple, exuding a lovely American warmth and charm. It was a real pleasure, Kevin and Mary, thank you.

Angel was absolutely the best house sitter we could have hoped for. She is a very warm, open and diligent person and our two cats adored her. She looked after our house and garden with really conscientious care. She won over our very timid cat, Billie, and sent regular photos of both cats looking supremely content which gave us perfect peace of mind. The house was completely spotless on our return and the garden was fabulous... no mean feat since there was a heatwave while we were away and she kept everything watered and in great condition. We would have Angel back at the drop of a hat and cannot recommend her highly enough.

Paige, David, and family were WONDERFUL sitters for my crew! They were so pleasant and personable, and the pets warmed up to them very quickly. Even my rescue cat who tends to stray away from men loved David. I received regular updates and communication (before and during the sit). I truly did not have any concerns while I was away knowing that everyone had such great care and attention given to them. (I know the dogs had a good time because when I came home there was no commotion over my return.) I was away on NYE and Paige had no issues keeping an eye on one of the dogs who has anxiety surrounding loud noises. The family cleaned up after themselves and may have left the house cleaner than when I left! Truly such a great family who I would welcome back any time!

Ruthee was a fabulous pet sitter for our three cats while we were gone for a month. Prior to the sit, she was consistent and communicative; she even came over early for a meet and greet to learn the routine. During the sit, she took great care of our three cats by playing with them (she made a fun cat toy!), scooping litter, feeding and watering them, and sent us text updates and pictures. We came home to happy fur babies and a clean home. She left the place very tidy which was greatly appreciated! We are so thankful for Ruthee and would recommend her should the opportunity arise. We can not exaggerate the care and love Juliet and Laurent gave to our cat, Piero, during his the last few weeks of life. While we left for our trip thinking he merely had a bladder infection, his symptoms turned for the worse a weeks into their sit and later revealed he had cancer. No one would wish their sitter to need to hospice their cat but Juliet and Laurent showed such compassion for Piero and volunteered to be with him when we made the decision to put him down. It was an emotional time for all of us and we will be forever grateful to our two caring cat and house sitters. We have had many fantastic housesitters through zeewoi but Juliet and Laurent top the list. Their professionalism, constant communication and compassion were exceptional. Should you have the opportunity to have them in your home, do not hesitate to book them, you will have no regrets. We do, however, regret that they had such a short time with Piero and had to experience such a painful event.

Oh wow! Everyone should be so lucky to have Nicholas and Veerle watch their house and pets. These lovely people are pros! They communicated early and often, were super accommodating to some last minute changes (it was originally going to be only our cats to watch but we decided to keep the dog home as well so that added to the schedule and care needs) and they left the house spotless and all set up for another sitter who came in after them. We didn’t get the chance to meet because my departure and arrival times but I dearly hope I get to in the future because they were just great! I even heard how nice they were from My neighbors who say them out walking our dog. :-) They also sent regular pictures of the pets which look like pro-photography! Cannot recommend this couple enough! Your pets and house will be in good hands!

Jinnie was an excellent house sitter for me and my cat Felix. Completely responsible and reliable and helpfully flexible. She was willing to work with me as I dithered on whether I was actually going to go on my trip (which was dependent on good weather), and when I finally decided on making my trip one day shorter. House was clean and organized on my return, and, more importantly, my cat was calm and relaxed on my return. I would happily have Jinnie come sit for me and Felix again.

My dog Bella was groomed and they do a fantastic job. Also, my sister leaves her small dog there all the time for daycare. Everyone there takes exceptional care of all the animals.and are so courteous. My family has used this place for boarding also. Can’t say enough positive things about this pet facility. My 2 dogs love GoDog! The staff is always kind and easy to work with. It’s priced a little higher than some of the other places in the area, but you get what you pay for!

Our dog has been going to GoDog for over a year and she *LOVES* it! The staff are outstanding! The facility is great and they are very consistent with communication. They also have let us know if they've seen something with our dog that needs attention (eye scratch, sore tooth, etc.) so that we could get her to the vet. This place is well worth the money for the care and attention they give all the animals there. HIGHLY recommend!!
We have been at Go Dog for 3 1/2 years. We have one dog that attends daycare at least 2-3 times a week and has been boarded whenever we travel. We also have other family dogs who are boarded. We have only had positive, kind , loving , and attentive interactions!!! We have never been to a facility where we have been so comfortable with leaving our dog babies! I would recommend this facility over and over and the peace of mind leaving your dog baby is unmeasurable!!! They always come home happy and tired. Ready to snuggle. GoDog West Nashville is a fantastic place for your pups if you’re looking for good daycare or boarding. The staff is AWESOME. Everyone is so kind and I have never once worried that my boys aren’t in good hands when I drop them off. If you’re looking for daycare options, I highly recommend GoDog. The pool is also a major plus during the summer if your pups like to swim!
GoDog is amazing. My Archie gets so excited when he realizes that I just turned into their entrance. He loves it there. They are the best. The doggie cam lets me check on him throughout the day. The staff is the best. He loves them all. I highly recommend them for boarding or daycare or grooming. I have not used the training although I probably should.
We are so impressed with Go Dog from the time we walk into the lobby to pick up, they are a top notch place for daycare and boarding. We did a one day daycare so they could assess our Yorkie and the next week we boarded him for 9 days. We had total peace that he was safe and having fun! He looked so good when we picked him up and was a happy little guy his first weekend home with us, sometimes he sulks and makes us pay. Go Dog, Nashville, is our ONLY go-to place for our family!!!!

Nashville Purrs is the best! When we come home, the cats are always calm and happy. The sitters are real cat people! They pay careful attention to all of the cats’ needs. They’re great with medication and understand that each of our cats has specific preferences!
I absolutely cannot recommend Nashville Purrs enough! We first contacted Nashville Purrs in a panic, when one of our cats got diagnosed with diabetes just a few days before we were leaving town for a week. Dawn saved the day! She replied immediately when I reached out, and within a few hours, we had a meet and greet set up. It gave us such peace of mind knowing our two kitties (both who need medicine) were in such good hands while we were gone. Since then, we've used Nashville Purrs several times, and it honestly makes our trips even better, knowing that we don't have to worry about kitty care, especially with two cats who have medical conditions. The online system is easy to use and schedule, and we can tell from the photos that the kitties just love when Dawn and Alyssa visit! (They both get the scratching post/belly flop combo when they come in the door, which means our cats really like someone!) The reports they send each time they visit are delightful, as are the pictures they take! I look forward to receiving them when we're not home. Finally, I'll just add that I rarely do reviews, but I am more than happy to sing the praises of this wonderful, caring company!

Dawn has been the most caring and conscientious pet sitter I have ever had. I have 100 percent confidence when I leave my cats with her and it's wonderful not to worry. Nothing is too much to ask for her to watch out for and she is also great at accommodating shifting schedules. The true telling is how much my 2 cats love and feel comfortable with her. I just moved to Nashville a little over a month ago and had to take an emergency trip. I was very worried about leaving my cats so soon after moving, so finding Nashville Purrs was a godsend! I have had pet sitters take care of my cats for 30 years, and I've had some excellent pet sitters, but Dawn and Nashville Purrs went beyond even the best pet sitters I've had. We really appreciated Paige watching our dog. Not only did she watch her last minute over Christmas break, but she updated us more several times a day with photos telling us what they were doing throughout the day also keeping us up-to-date daily on when she ate and her health. We highly recommend Paige for watching your dog. She treats them as if they were your child and does her very best to make sure your fur baby is as comfortable as possible while you’re away!

We were very thankful to find Sol’s pet care when we did. My brother and his family had to fly back to Australia rather urgently and their dogs had to stay behind for a few months until export travel vaccinations and paperwork were completed. Sol did a great job taking care of Bear and Romeo. She sent almost daily updates & were given a lot of love. They had their very own room with a dog park inside and out the back. The pups definitely had some anxiety being away from their family for so long but sol helped them with good routines and habits and helped get them get crate trained for the long travel. She cared for bear’s allergies on a regular basis by bathing his paws and making sure he was as comfortable possible. She clearly loves animals!! The last pic is our sweet pups reunited with my brother back in Australia. Home sweet home. Thanks Sol!

This has become my dog’s 2nd home!! Stella has the best time staying over night with Agustina at Sol’s Pet Care. They offer hands-on group care (rather than the over crowded doggy day cares facilities with 30 dogs in a room). The owner’s dog also is a part of the group which provides assurance that all the dogs will be looked after. The staff has treated my dog like a 2nd dog. Sol’s Pet Care is the best in Nashville! My golden retriever has been taken care of by Agustina for almost a year now, and we both have been so happy with her care! Pet Resorts Dog Daycare is amazing! We started taking Mookie here a few months ago and could not be happier with our experience. Each time Mookie comes in they remember her by name whether it was 2 days ago or over a week ago. They give your dog individual care and are extremely reasonable and kind. We couldn’t be happier - Mookie runs through the door because she is so excited to play and see all of the staff. Thank you!
I bring my puppy to Dog Daycare and she absolutely loves it! The trainer she's been working with recommended it as a way to burn off her energy and learn from other dogs, and it's doing wonders for her. She plays all day and has a blast, then comes home nice and tired for a relaxing night. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and they are great with the dogs - they know everyone who comes in, their personalities, who they can play with, etc and make sure everyone has a fantastic experience. I highly recommend that anyone looking to bring their dog(s) to daycare look into this facility.
We just started taking Alli to Pet Resorts Dog Daycare and I was really impressed with the staff and the facility. The best part is I can tell she played all day since by the time I got her home and fed, she was exhausted and we just snuggled on the sofa the rest of the night. What a great place for her to expend all her energy. The facility seems very well run and very clean. When I picked her up you could just tell all the dogs there had a great time. It's nice to know your dog can play all day and have lots of doggie interactions!
I have two Siberian Huskies that absolutely love this place. They board here when we go on trips. They get lots of playtime which is necessary for their high energy breed. They do a great job at separating out the breeds and keeping everyone safe. We put them in daycare a couple of days while our house was being shown and they were so tired from playing they were falling asleep sitting up. The pricing is super affordable. . The staff are beyond amazing. Very friendly. Very loving to my babies. Super helpful and they act like they appreciate you as a customer. We will not go anywhere else with our fur babies!
Our two high-energy pups, Bella & Bailey, love going to doggy day camp. They get to run and play, and learn to socialize appropriately with other dogs. We can tell they were active, because they come home hungry and very tired. They will eat their dinner and then lie on the floor passed out until bedtime. Bobby and his staff are very competent and dedicated with our pups. They are very observant of each dog's personality and behaviors, and the daily (verbal) feedback and communication between staff and owners is excellent.
We've been taking our dog, Sophie, to Doggie Daycare at Pet Resorts for the past few weeks. Initially she was a little timid, but now she tries to go with me every day on my way to work. She loves to play, and always seems exhausted when I stop by to pick her up. The staff is great to deal with and the location is always nice and tidy. We can't say enough good things about Pet Resorts Doggie Day Care!
I would highly recommend to anyone! I have two dogs, I've boarded them at Pet Resorts before but recently started taking them to doggie daycare. They did an evaluation first and they were very thorough in their report on how they did. Since they passed I decided to buy a 10-day package for two dogs and it's so convenient! I love being able to drop my dogs off for a fun day with Linda and Amanda and not have to worry about a thing! They always come home happy and exhausted! :)
To say Houston is like a member of the family is an understatement. So, when I first took him to Pet Resorts Dog Daycare, I was concerned about how they would treat him. When I dropped him off, he tried to run after me when I left but he was held back by Bobby with a leash. My heart sunk. Well, it is clear that Pet Resorts Dog Daycare takes just as good care of Houston as I do (if not better). They clearly did something right on Houston's first stay, because now when I take him he starts whimpering in anticipation as soon as I pull up. When I open my car door, he runs to their door and whimpers TO GET INSIDE! Houston absolutely loves Pet Resorts Dog Daycare. And, since he loves it, I love it. And I trust my dog. If he is happy, I am happy. Thanks Pet Resorts!!!

We contacted Erin to watch our cat for a week and the experience couldn’t have been better. She responds to messages extremely quickly, provided daily updates, and genuinely cares for the well-being of your pets. She even stopped by beforehand for a meet and greet and to pick up keys. Highly recommend reaching out to her if you need somebody to watch your pet while you’re away!!
I contacted Home Alone Pet Service to watch my cat recently and I could not be happier with the service I received! We love Green Paws! They've been walking our dog for about a year now. Their system is very easy to use, and everyone is friendly and communicative. We get pictures and a full report for every visit. We will be using their service for cat sitting when we are out of town as well. They always make sure that even if the regular Pet Care Specialist has to cancel (which happens very rarely) someone else from the team comes to take care of your pet. I always feel at ease that my pets are being well cared for in my absence - their service is definitely worth every penny.

Green Paws truly saved the day with holiday dog sitting coverage. Our usual sitter had to cancel 3 weeks out from Christmas, and having previously hired Green Paws a couple years ago, I reached out and they were able to confirm a sitter, Rick, within 24 hours. Rick sent the best, most detailed updates to us throughout his stay and I know my dogs were in great care! Rick also left my condo very tidy and helped pick up a package from the lobby when it arrived. We’re very grateful for Green Paws and will certainly hire them again!

We are so happy with our caretaker and the responsiveness of the team at Green Paws. They are helpful even when we’ve been in a bind (eg our flight got canceled and we couldn’t get home, so they helped make sure our cat wasn’t left without food). We get daily photos of Tomato and appreciate that he gets playtime when we are out or traveling. Thank you to the awesome people at this company! I cannot say enough good things about Green Paws and their team of cat sitters who have served us for more than 2 year now. We have a 6 year old cat who hates traveling, but who is very social. When we head out for work, leisure, or holiday travel, we call Green Paws and they come in each day to feed and hang with our cat for a good amount of time (25-30 min). We get pictures of our cat sent to us with an update of how the visit went, so we never have to wonder how he is doing. The rates are extremely fair and the people at Green Paws are friendly and very accommodating. You won't go wrong using Green Paws for your pet's in-home care needs!
I've used Green Paws for in-home sitting several times, when away for weekends. I prefer this over sending my dog to a kennel for boarding, as he is more comfortable at home in his regular routine. Green Paws staff is always very professional, and my dog loves them. I get daily updates and photos, multiple times a day, while I am away to let me know that he is doing ok. Since all of their employees are full-time employees that undergo thorough background checks, I know that I am getting somebody that I can trust with my keys, my apartment, and my fur baby, which is more than I can say about other pet service companies in Chicago. I love these guys and will never use anyone else.
My wife and I have been using Green Paws since we got our now 2 year old puppy. Every step of the way they have been fantastic. They respond quickly to our e-mails, provide flexibility regarding late cancellations (when warranted aka someone is sick or would be home last minute and a walk is not needed). Logan, our walker since day 1, has been exceptional. All other walkers have been a great experience!
Have used Green Paws three times now for cat sitting visits while I'm away on vacation and am really happy with them. John is great, I feel really comfortable with him taking care of my cat Niles. Have never had a problem cancelling or scheduling, I always get prompt responses and the pricing is fair. Definitely recommend!

My pups stayed with Yardstick over Christmas and had a blast. They were well taken care of and I received multiple updates. They even gave my one dog some chicken to entice him eating (he gets anxiety at times). I’m so thankful for the team over at Yardstick. Will 100% use their services again.
Best dog boarding ever - a little pricey but this place put my mind at ease leaving my dogs for the weekend. They both have never been boarded so I was worried. This place is amazing. They send you photos twice a day to show you how they are doing, and they get socialized with similar size and temperament dogs twice a day. My dogs came back happy & tired. Both dogs got their nails trimmed and I added on CBD treats to keep them calm. One of my dogs needs a slow feeder bowl and they even washed it before giving it back to me. Their care goes above and beyond. Totally worth the expense. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a place to board your babies.
My dog stayed at the West Nashville Yardstick Dog from Oct 3 to Oct 12 and judging by the many pix and updates they sent me daily, she was having a splendid time!!! (I mean, could she smile any harder in these pix??) This was our first stay with Yardstick Dog and we can honestly say they will be our go-to from now on! A previous boarding facility wanted to charge us for administering her daily pills! Every single one! Not Yardtick Dog…as they indicated during our initial visit and tour, if your dog takes pills, administering those pills is as much a part of your pet’s care as feeding them and providing water! Another good thing is that they have smaller play groups and give the dogs some downtime and rest midday before going to play group again. The facility is clean, beautiful and the staff members are so kind and accommodating! Definitely recommend them!!
Everyone I have met is friendly and seems to really care about making your dogs stay as good as it can be. I loved being able to tour the place and we got to see where he would be staying and playing. A big plus is getting daily texts and pictures so you can see how your furry friend is doing. I would definitely recommend this place.
Yardstick gets boarding right!🐶 I booked my furbaby a 4 night boarding stay at Yardstick East Nashville location and was very impressed with the layout of the hotel, especially the private suites. The staff was supportive, thoughtful and provided excellent communication with me via calls, pictures and text that put my mind at ease. I highly recommend Yardstick pet hotel! P.S. The pupsicles and gelato treats are a nice touch!
This was the first time ever for boarding my pup! I was nervous that she would be sad due to never being away from us, especially at night. However, that wasn't the case. She had the best time and the staff at Yardstick made sure to let me know. They provided pics and updates throughout her stay. 10/10, highly recommend!
They are wonderful! They limit the amount of dogs that can attend. It’s very clean and everyone that works there is very friendly. My dog Piper goes twice a week and loves it!! They send you photos while your dog is there playing.

Janet Buchwald cared for our senior cat, Maggie, this past weekend (8/22-25/19). This is the second time we’ve used her service. We have been extremely pleased as Janet is trustworthy, dependable, & has an excellent knowledge of & rapport with cats. She understands them & cares for them accordingly. This was most obvious in Maggie’s demeanor upon our return. She was very relaxed & not overly excited to see us. We think she was wondering where her friend, Janet, was! Janet also updated us with texts & photos following each visit. We will definitely continue to use Janet’s service.
A new puppy can be overwhelming. I work during the day and hate to leave my little guy alone. Janet provides a professional and reliable walking service. She has amazing staff member, Kevin, who walks my pup and he is genuinely caring about the welfare of my pet, Teddy. When I encountered some concerning puppy behavior, Janet offers great guidance and tips on training. She is very responsive to texts and sends pictures with every walk. Sure makes my day at work better when I see Teddy outside, in the grass, and happy. Thanks Janet and team for all you do!!!
