I'm delighted to have found Lisa as a sitter and hope to have her back again! She was detail oriented and clearly cared about my cats' well being. She asked good questions about the cats' routines and needs and about the house to be sure she'd meet my expectations and have a comfortable and successful sit. She communicated very well before and throughout the sit and even though I was unreachable for much of the time I was confident everyone was in good hands. Lisa left the house in immaculate condition and the cats were relaxed and happy when I got home. What a delight!

Anna was an excellent sitter - she took great care to understand all of the intricacies of taking care of the house and cats, asked lots of questions, and arrived on time and ready for the sit. During the trip, she checked in with updates, and upon returning home, left the space tidy and clean. The cats were happy and healthy, and seemed to have had a great time during the sit. Becca was fantastic - we cannot say enough about how great she is as a pet and house sitter and as a human being! Becca committed to the sit 8 months in advance and was great  with her responsiveness in communication during the long lead up to the sit. She arrived early and got the low downs on the animals and house stuff prior to us leaving. She woke up crazy early to help us get to the airport and picked us up when we returned, which made the traveling so much easier on our end. She left the house spot-less (and this is no exaggeration), with the linens cleaned, and a wonderful meal waiting for us upon our return. She is an absolute gem of a person with a great sense of humor and a kind and compassionate nature, and she really enjoys the animals in her care. Our dog and cat were very well cared for and totally at ease upon our return. If you are lucky enough to have Becca sit for you, you will be very pleased at how well she does the job!

Kathryn was amazing. She helped me figure plans out after another sitter dropped out at the last minute and saved the day! My cat and fish were well taken care of, and she was super communicative when my tank had a problem child moment. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, helpful, and caring sitter!!

Kimberly was a wonderful sitter who watched our two cats for us while we were out. She was willing to come a day early to help acclimate herself with the animals, and this was exceedingly helpful in making sure the cats would be comfortable with her during our absence. I would highly recommend Kimberly if you're looking for a responsible, caring sitter.

Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for.
Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just  as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay.
Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day.
Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well!
Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement.
Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Without a doubt, I would recommend him as a sitter...and a friend!

My partner and I left our cat Mango in Lindsey's care for a month so that we could get married.  We were going from FL to ME, so it was a long way from home.  We were gone for a month.  Picking the right houses sitter was important.  We are so glad we picked Lindsey (and she picked us). From before Lindsey got on her plan to fly down, until she was back home again Lindsey was communicative, considerate and positive. We felt like we had a family member staying at our place and because of who she is, Mango and our home's well being was a weight off our mind during the wedding. If the need arises in the future we will definitely be giving her the right of first refusal. Thank you so much Lindsey!

My husband and I are so grateful for Cendy staying with our ~1yr old cat for nearly a full month. We were nervous to leave her for so long but Cendy had Wilma literally eating out of the palm of his hand and snuggling with him in no time. Cendy was incredibly communicative with us and attentive to Wilma consistently for the entire duration of the sit which was such a relief and gave us the piece-of-mind needed to fully enjoy our trip. We returned back to an impeccably clean apartment and a very content kitty. For the first few days back Wilma was definitely looking around for Cendy, missing her buddy. We (and Wilma!) would welcome Cendy back any time, especially for a longer stay knowing how responsible of a sitter he was. Couldn't recommend enough!

Phyllis and Alan

Cat and Paul were wonderful sitters - our cats were contented and calm when we returned.  And the house was spotless.  Plus Paul mowed our entire yard including the back meadow - what a surprise! We very much enjoyed visiting with them as well and getting to know them.  Highly recommend :)

Super nice sitters and extremely flexible. Really enjoyed their company and I only regret that I was too frazzled to chat with them more and get to know them!
Kept the house super clean, pets loved them. Dog especially.
Had a little problem with my new kitten not meshing well with the older cats (which was not too surprising since cats can be territorial). Pennee was very patient and gave me constant updates and tips. And the older cat was much more calm when I came home. Highly recommend and welcome back anytime!
