I wish we had a good experience. Everyone seemed kind over phone and email and got her in quickly as I have a new full time job and need pet care daily. I brought Apple early on her scheduled date as asked. Apple takes some patience for her social anxiety and is trained specifically to me. I had been hoping to teach the staff her commands and words during the ten minutes I had to wait to get her in, but I was rushed to leave her and not allowed to escort her back, which would have comforted her. I went on with my day and called 2 hours later to check on her and I was told that they still hadn't evaluated her yet. She had been sitting alone in her positive enrichment cage/crate. I was told that she would be evaluated soon and would interact with other dogs soon, and she loves friends... I offered to pick her up but staff encouraged me that she would be with a person soon and I was hopeful that once she got to play with other dogs that she would be happy. Emailed for an update and was told that she was scared and hadn't been evaluated yet. When I arrived to pick her up over 5 hours later I was told that she was scared in the back of her cage for the entire time. No one was able to interact with her. No interaction with the other dogs. It broke my heart. I was told that she was too socially awkward and afraid to go to doggy daycare there. I found it hard to believe because we go to the dog park three times a day as we live next door to Grand circus. I was hoping for a repeat or more time was spent getting her comfortable by Canine to Five, but I was simply told she couldn't come back and I should get a private sitter. Apple is a good dog and goes to the dog park three times a day and just requires special attention that even the special enrichment program apparently cannot provide for my rescue dog. I would have given five or four stars had there been effort shown to actually work with her or a phone call with me for tips to work with her while she was there OR had they called me and said your dog isn't working out here earlier in the day. But alas my dog had to sit for 5 hours in an obvious, uncomfortable situation for her. I am sure this is a great place for socially interactive dogs. For dogs who are anxious and nervous I am disappointed that no special treatment was given for her first day to make the dogs feel welcome. One of these pictures of her with other dogs was taken 20 minutes after I was told the staff didn't think she was social enough. I wish they tried harder. The only plus is they didn't charge me for the first day.

This place is exceptional!!! My 12 week old golden retriever puppy, Pickles, had his first day evaluation a couple days ago and he had an AMAZING time! The staff were so patient and inviting to him, and kept me updated with pupdate photos and the live cam view! Plus his end of the date rePAWt card was so lovely! Carletha was so detailed about including how his day went, and it was truly exceptional since it made me feel great about knowing how his day actually went instead of just the common, simple, basic comments that doesn't inform me of anything and keeps me in the dark. I felt like I didn't miss out on anything, which was so comforting!!! He was exhausted after his day there, which is EXACTLY what I was hoping for! After a long day at work, I really didn't want to also have to expend a ton of energy trying to tire him out when we got home, so it was PERFECT!! He loved it so much there, he even started looking for his new fur friends when we got home - he was super bummed when I had to tell him they went to their houses, but that he'd see them again soon! Luckily he went back today to hangout with his buddies!! I also love the fact I can not only keep him entertained during the day while I'm working, but the fact that this place is a one-stop-shop where I can even get him groomed while he's there! Plus they offer such wonderful upgrades and even host events like photoshoots and foam parties to keep my little guy feeling extra loved and entertained throughout the day! As well, the staff has been so sweet and patient with me as well in answering all my MANY questions, even prior to Pickles starting daycare. I had called when searching for a daycare for him, and they were so informative and kind with all my inquiries. I felt badly for having so many questions, but I just wanted to make sure I found the best place for my little guy, which clearly...I did!! Specifically Kaitlin, Christian, Ben, and Kayla were who I spoke with thus far, and they truly couldn't have been kinder to both myself and Pickles. They made us feel so included and at home, which really solidified that I made the right choice!! Overall, I highly recommend Canine to Five Midtown, and can't say enough good things about it!! :) UPDATE 8/1: Canine to Five Midtown continues to be one of the best businesses I’ve ever worked with! I informed them my puppy was sadly bit in the face by another dog when we were out to dinner, and they were so kind and understanding! They even extended my introductory unlimited package by a week, since that’s how long Pickles would need to be out to heal. Not only that, but they sent me an amazingly thoughtful and incredibly kind get well card that each of the staff signed!! I didn’t think companies like this existed anymore - ones that truly cared about their customers and willing to go the extra mile. They haven’t just gone one mile, they’ve gone soooo many for Pickles and myself! It’s so heartwarming to have found them and to be apart of the Canine to Five family! I’m so happy and grateful that my sweet boy has a second home and family to spend time with while I’m at work all week. If you don’t send your furry loved one to Canine to Five Midtown, then you’d be doing them a hugeee disservice, because there’s honestly no place better where they’ll be cared for and loved as if they were their own puppers!!

I have loved sending my pretty baby Ava to canine to five!!! When I first got Ava she was really anxious and shy and didn’t show much interest in people / other dogs at all. They started her slow into their puppy program bc of her age and my sweet baby started to blossom! She’s now socializing with everyone & playing with dogs and I genuinely could not be more happy. So thankful and grateful for canine to five for helping our anxious pup 🥹🫶 I also love the dog cameras bc im a teacher and we watch the dogs as a reward when the kids are good 😭😂

We love Canine to Five - especially the Midtown location. Juney started going to daycare at CTF as a 12-week-old puppy and we have loved it (and definitely utilized it) ever since. The staff has responded to each and every question or concern with care, sincerity and out of love for all dogs. Their puppy program was a lifesaver during bouts of the "puppy blues" and daycare has provided a much-needed and enriching break for Juney and her humans alike. When I forget to book a day, the staff is accommodating. When I have overly-protective dog mom questions, the staff is understanding and sincerely responsive. There are so many indoor AND outdoor activities to keep her occupied during the day and that allow her to be a dog, like scent-work, pools, and play time with other dogs that sometimes we're not able to provide her during the day. Plus, she can get a bath (with a cute bandana) or her nails trimmed while she's there. They also have cute photoshoots and photos posted daily to Facebook. There is so much care that goes into every detail of what dogs and their humans need (or don't even know they need). We have boarded our dog there a couple of times and the staff was sooo communicative and truly went above and beyond with updates, photos, and extra love. It is so obvious that they care about each dog - probably just as much as their owners. After her last boarding at CTF, I was truly amazed with the care and thoughtfulness they provided. I was so concerned that she wouldn't be able to eat out of anxiety, but was updated on every meal and asked if she could have additives like beef broth to make sure she'd eat, and she did! I would recommend CTF Midtown over and over again. We love all the staff and we know they love Juney in return!

I’ve been really happy with the revamping of private play into PAWsitive enrichment. Trixie is coming home tired and seems to be having a great time in the daily photo updates (especially with bubbles)! Canine to Five isn’t cheap, but it’s nice knowing that Trixie is well looked after and living her best life while I’m at work.

This is a place to watch your pet nothing else. They are to busy to give my dog his own clean water, the floors are cement so no rugs or anywhere comfortable to chill, they are not at all nurturing they totally lied to my face then caged and ignored my pet scared cries. He care taker never noticed him once though he wore a first day tag and it was his job to make sure he helped him adapt or assessed a better environment. This is one room full or apartment dogs running wild, it’s chaotic and not for dogs with more culture and calm. I guess it’s the urban Detroit version of dog care. This was beyond disappointing. Not for calm cultured pups!!

Been coming here for years and have always had a positive experience. The staff are all friendly, professional, and care about their work. Trusting others with your dog is stressful (at least for me) but I never worry when my pup's in their hands and that's I can ask for.

Super disappointed with Canine to Fives midtown location. I’ve been taking my dog there for a few months now and it started out great, but unfortunately didn’t end that way. I think some of their staff don’t know how to read dogs and understand the reactions they’re getting. I’m not an official dog trainer myself, but I’ve worked with dogs my whole life and am confident in my abilities, especially with my dog. Without writing an entire novel, if you have a large dog who likes to play & interact with other dogs but also likes her own space from time to time - be aware that your dog will be labeled “aggressive” and you’ll have to pay extra money for them to be separated and primarily kenneled the majority of the day (with a ten minute “activity” every two hours).

I want to say I really appreciate that there is a place I can take my fur baby Ares to on a place where he is safe and loved. The staff is very supportive, friendly, and professional. I tell all my friends on how great you all are. You all made my first year as a dog mom a totally breeze!

I took my 17 month old German Shepherd to be groomed. He came out sparkling ✨️ they took great care of his teeth, ears, nails, paws, and premium bath. My dog smelled so good, and his coat was de-shedded. I am very pleased with his spa day from Canine To Five

My dog has major seperation anxiety and when I go out she barks, screams and cries😕 She has been only going to Windsor Pet Nanny for one week. She lives Angeline and she cries when we leave. Angelin looked after my 9 year old little Chihuahua, Tikki for a few days while l was out of town. I read the reviews from the Windsor Pet Nanny, a perfect score of 5 with 40 some reviews. Unheard of.. Angelin sent me videos every day and l could tell Tikki loved being free to move throughout the house and hang out with the other small dogs. The doors were always open for her to go outside and this was perfect for her. Lots of places to investigate. I could tell Angelin loves animals and l immediately felt that connection and we hit it off immediately. I felt like l was leaving her with a good friend or family member. I would definitely leave her again with Angelin as it was like a holiday for Tikki. Thank you Angelin and James for taking such good care of my little girl Tikki.. She isn't fussy about men and James was able to pick her up and cuddle her. After that they were best friends and she followed him around... Is this my Tikki? To me and my family doing business with Windsor Pet Nanny is a deep and trusted relationship! Angi, does such an amazing job connecting with our pooches "Willow and Bella Boo". We had our pups stay with WPN for a week so my family could go away on a much needed vacation. The kids woke up everyday checking how our puppies were doing on Windsor Pet Nanny's facebook page. Angi was so clever in how she shared precious moments of their day. When I picked them up we realized how they had an amazing vacation of their own! Swimming, socializing, walks in the park, delicious bones for chewing, agility training. They were content and happy with their time at Windsor Pet Nanny. I left my dog with Angelin for 4 days/nights. He was never with other dogs but Angelin was Excellent in supervising him and I did not worry one bit while away. Highly recommend their service!!!

Love love love Windsor Pet Nanny! Angelin took such good care of our Bella while we were on vacation. As she is a rescue, I was so worried about having to leave her at a kennel. I thought she'd be upset and think we had abandoned her. But Windsor Pet Nanny is a home, not anything like being locked up in a cage and isolated. Bella had free run and lots of friends to play with. She ate, she swam, she played with other dogs, she was spoiled. Thank you so much!! It was easy to enjoy our vacation after seeing videos of how happy she was.

We have never left our dog alone for a few days at a time. I was feeling very nervous to leave him alone with someone I didn’t know but the pet nanny team made me feel so comfortable and took amazing care of my dog! They kept sending me pictures and videos of my puppy to update me on how he was doing and he seemed so relaxed and seemed to be having a great time with all the other pups and was very well taken care of! I am so happy with this service and will certainly be leaving my dog with them again!

Angelin was such a great help I reached out to her at the very last minute before my trip. She was very responsive, engaged, very inexpensive price, she took care of my babies like her own, I received pictures and videos on every visit, very trustworthy. Our 2 cats spent 4 days at Windsor Pet Nanny where they had their own comfortable space to call their own. Angie took great care of our cats and even sent videos and photos of them daily. We will definitely be using Angie’s service again!

I was in a hurry to find a place for my Luv Bug to stay for a long while and I was convinced that I would be unable to get someone. I called a few locations in the past and there was always an issue. But this time I went with the friendly face I saw on the Dog Nanny’s page. Everything from the web cams for when I got lonely to the morning pics and backyard photos made me feel safe. I was worried he would have issues with other dogs but to see him sleep with another dog in his room and him enjoying the company shockingly surprised me and to know she had to be the one to make him feel so at ease with situation. This place is a hidden gem. Maybe I am not supposed to leave a review because I don't want Karen and Paul to be overwhelmed with new clients, and I want my dogs to get their spots every time! (1) This is a private home with a clean spacious yard. My dogs usually have to take a bath if they come back from other daycare places, but they still smell good when they come back from this place after several hours. They can lie down comfortably indoors when they want to rest. (2) Karen offers personalized care with quick responses. She updates you with text messages and pictures. Our little dogs aren't exactly well-trained or friendly. They still have fun there. (3) The business hours are flexible as the premise is their own home, and they don't count each minute. Just be reasonable and let them know your plans in advance.

Always clean and cozy. The owners are very friendly. You will get cute updates during the day with pictures. We are lucky to have them.

Hershey had fun during her stay at Doghaven.. Karen was wonderful and gave frequent updates. I recommend Doghaven the next time you need a good boarding place for your fur babies👍🏻 …

There is dog exercise furniture on the large lawn and it is well maintained. Also, the owner is very friendly and courteous.

Karissa, Rick, and Susan are absolutely the best people to take care of my pups when we’re out of town! They’re professional, dependable, kind, and genuinely take care of your pets as if they’re their own. Recently, I was out of town for a little more than a week and every day, they sent me detailed updates with pics three times a day. They watered my plants and swept the porch. I noticed upon returning that the house was just as clean as I left it. One of my pups has social anxiety and doesn’t like strangers despite how much I tried to help her overcome it but with Cozy Care Pet Services, she was happily running around begging for belly rubs a few days in. She completely got over her shyness which is nothing short of miraculous for us to witness! They were so happy and well taken care of, beyond what we imagined! Now I can leave on any trip with the peace of mind that my fur children are in good hands! We’ve previously had horrible experiences in dog boarding at a few places with “rave reviews”. I’m grateful that we have such a wonderful service near us and recommend them to anyone else in need of pet sitting. Karissa goes the extra mile for her customers and we can tell she genuinely loves dogs and her job. That’s a rarity to find amongst other businesses that value money over the pets wellbeing.

Karissa and her team are beyond amazing! 5 stars can’t even do what they do justice. They came and loved my dogs so much! They don’t just let them out, they stay and play with them a little and give them some love. When my 17 year old doggy wasn’t doing his best, they would even stay with them the whole time for his last year 😭 made me feel soooo much better leaving him when I had to work long hours. We have loved our time with Karissa and the Cozy care team. Sadly, we are moving out of their travel range and will no longer be able to use their services. We are so bummed! Karissa and her team gave us peace of mind while we traveled. They took amazing care of our 3 black labs and sent daily picture updates. I know our dogs were in great hands and we had full trust our dogs would be loved and treated well while we were away! I would highly recommend karissa and her team!

I can’t rave enough about Cozy Care Pet Services. We contacted them a few months ago about whether or not they might be able to watch our dog for a day or so while we went to the hospital have our baby. Karissa and her team were super flexible and ended up being able to accommodate us in their schedule, which allowed us to surprise our family when the baby was born this past weekend! My family had planned on watching our dog for us, so they were completely shocked and delighted when we FaceTimed them from the hospital with our new baby already in our arms. A huge thank you to Karissa and crew and we HIGHLY recommend them for all your pet care needs in the future!

Karissa and her team do a great job, from training, to pet sitting, to yard pick up and everything in between. She came to help us train our 2 dogs. One is quite older and I thought she was too old to train but Karissa was able to help get her to stop barking! She gives a lot of tips and helpful tricks to aid in everything you need. I highly recommend their services and I will be using them again!

This is an amazing company! We hired them to take care of our chickens while we were out of town and they could not have done a better job. Karissa and her team were so helpful. We got detailed updates and pictures every single visit. Before we left we were concerned about leaving one of our chickens who has been having some issues, and they agreed to do additional visits to check on her (added very last minute). I felt like she cared about our chickens as much as we do! Will definitely be booking them again.

Update- Karissa and her crew have been excellent the 4 times we have contracted with them, to visit, feed, and care for our Cane Corso, Millie, at our home in Livonia; several times it was on short notice. Karissa and her associate, Bill, helped us, all, know our beloved Millie would be well loved and cared for while we were away-from our first call to the completed pet report card upon our return to let us know how our dog behaved on all important levels, throughout. They asked us many good questions, were very open and thorough, gave us timely updates with pics, stayed in communication, gave our mastiff lots of love, affection, play, treats and went above and beyond in every way! So grateful for the excellent care and peace of mind we had while we were away! We have every confidence in Cozy Pet Care-qualified, knowledgeable, professional, kind, caring, compassionate, reliable, trustworthy-among many other invaluable attributes...simply exceptional! Cozy Care has taken such good care of my two cats and two dogs. My bird dogs are very energetic and are not easy at times to take care of, but Karissa and her team have done a fantastic job at making sure they are safe and having fun. The updates I get after each visit are very thorough and I can tell that they really care about my pets. Cozy Care is reliable and professional. I have had a couple emergencies necessitating last minute requests and one of the members of the team has been able to step in. I would highly recommend Cozy Care.
