Maryna was an excellent pet sitter and houseguest! Communicating with her was easy, and she always responded to my messages quickly. She was also incredibly self-sufficient! Moreover, Maryna graciously agreed to check on my neighbor's cat for a couple of days as well. My dog bonded with her quickly and was happy and healthy when I returned. The house was also spotless. I would happily have Maryna sit for me again!
I was very happy with the love and affection that was very apparent when Travis and Shannon met the pups. I received one picture on my trip and was happy to see Shannon cuddled under a doggie pile. Nothing like seeing your dogs being loved by others as their own. Every thing was in its place when I return which was nice. I also received a welcome home gift handmade by them which was very lovely and made my day. I highly recommend them as trustworthy and reliable pet sitters to anyone.
Once again Dede was the most perfect pup and house sitter you could ever hope to have the pleasure of using. She leaves our home cleaner than we left it and our pups so happy that they continue to search for her after she leaves. Dede handled an emergency situation with a false CO2 alarm which resulted in a visit from the fire department perfectly and we were so grateful! I feel completely comfortable with her in our home and know she is giving our 2 dogs the very best care. Thank you Dede - you truly are the best!
Jennifer treated my home and furry kids like they were her own. Everything was clean and well cared for and most importantly the dogs were happy! It was their first time with a sitter and they were happy. I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience.
I’m sure most folks say the nicest things about their sitter, but honestly, if there were a “super star” status available then Denise would win the prize as sitter of the year! From the start, Denise was an excellent communicator. While we were still in the decision phase, Denise was always available to chat either by FaceTime, telephone or text. It was so easy to choose Denise; as you can see from her countless 5 star reviews, she truly is the only pet sitter you’d ever need and the one everyone hopes to have. Denise came to our house eager to meet us, our pets and the quirks of our house. Denise has an excellent sense of humor and immediately put us all at ease. Our pets took to her as if she was a long lost friend (even our finicky Siamese cat was loving on her from the start). While we were gone, our dog had a non-emergency health issue come up and just like that Denise was taking her to our vet, and administered the dog’s meds like a champion (Denise is also a nurse BTW). Additionally, Denise brought our pup to her scheduled groom appointments and even made future appointments for us to make our return home as seamless as possible. Denise was even above and beyond helpful to our neighbors and they appreciated her giving them access to our refrigerator when theirs broke down on Thanksgiving Eve! When we got home we were super impressed by how perfectly immaculate our house was! Most sitters leave the house clean, but Denise met and may have even exceeded our military standards of clean and orderly. Seriously, our house felt like we never left it. Everything was spotless, shinny and clean. She didn’t miss a beat!! Our pets were so happy to see us but honestly, I felt like our pup and kitty were disappointed when we walked in the door (I believe they were expecting to see Denise!). Haha. If you are ever fortunate enough to have Denise apply for any of your sits then I can’t recommend her enough. Seriously, you can stop reviewing applicants and just go with Denise. She was awesome in every sense of the word and I hope she’ll come back and stay with our pets again.
Cindy was great, couldn’t have asked for a better sitter experience! Communication was great both before and during the sit. Cindy was really helpful and flexible with arrival and departure arrangements. I came back to a happy dog and a well cared for house, can thoroughly recommend 🙂
Joanna and David were wonderful sitters for our dog Broderick and our apartment. Before starting to sit for us they took time to come and meet Broderick which we were very appreciative of. During their time sitting for Broderick we got great updates every day and wonderful photos of our pup, and they were very responsive whenever needed. When we got back home we found a happy puppy, healthy plants, and a spotlessly clean apartment - they had even taken the time to wash sheets and towels and left us a kind thank you note. We would have them sit for us again in a heartbeat!
If you need a sitter don’t hesitate to pick Vanessa, I highly recommend her. She cared for our fur baby for two weeks and received the care and attention she needed. We came back to a very happy pup and clean home which is awesome after coming back from a long trip. I received texts and pictures of our dog while we were gone which gave us peace of mind. You could tell right from the start that she genuinely loves animals and will care for them as if they are hers. I will continue to use her as my pet sitter if she’s available. All I can say is she is a wonderful person!!
Joanna and David were absolutely perfect!!!! This was my first actual time using a sitter and they went above and beyond what I expected. I have a 1 year old Bully Breed that I adopted 6 weeks ago, so if you know dogs you know what they had to deal with :)) They sent pics daily and kept me updated. We were not able to meet before I left but they were nice enough to stay to meet me when I returned. My house was cleaner than when I left, all bedding and towels washed. Charley, my dog, was happy to see me for a minute when I got home but immediately went back to play with David, so I am thinking she had a blast while I was gone. I am totally sold with this process after having Joanna and David here. If you have the chance to book them for your trip, you will not be sorry. I am hoping to use them again when they return to Florida.
The two-leggeds and four-legged members of this household give Tess a 5-star rating! We think she's one of the best sitters you will find - highly communicative, friendly, competent, reliable, and great with pets. Tess was also flexible about start and end dates to accomodate possible winter weather complications. For this sit, Tess was able to bring along her mom, Cathy. Tess introduced me to Cathy during one of our Skype conversations prior to the sit. It was a bonus to have her here with Tess. Their travel to Marquette was complicated by weather. A fierce winter storm swept across Michigan just before the sit. It took Tess and Cathy two days to drive here but they arrived, as promised, in time for us to fly out early the next morning. We even had time for a lovely dinner together and to introduce them to the dogs and house. We left the next day and never had a moment's worry while Tess and Cathy were caring for our pets and home. Tess sent us regular updates and photos. The dogs immediately accepted them as great new additions to their pack of friends - even our cranky, old chihuahua, Nike! We returned to happy pets and a spotlessly clean home. We plan to invite Tess (and Cathy if available) to return for future sits. Thank you, Tess and Cathy!

If I could give this place 100+ stars, I would. I mean that. I rescued a dog off of the streets in January – his name is Romeo. It took me almost an entire year to build his trust, and after I finally caught him, he decided I was the only person that would be able to touch him, play with him, or feed him. He also decided that he hated other animals. Romeo’s abuse history is extensive – I know this because I witnessed it. I have been scared to board him due to his behavior towards other humans and animals, as well as the fear that his behavior may cause him to be mistreated. I suddenly moved to a new house, and due to his extreme attachment towards me, it made more sense to have him boarded while I was in the process of moving then it did for me to allow him to be attached at my hip the entire time. I researched boarding facilities everywhere within a 30 mile radius – This facility had lower stars than others, but upon reviewing previous reviews, it appeared that ever since ownership changed a couple of years ago, people have been entirely happy with their experience boarding there. I called them and set something up, and was incredibly pleased with the person I spoke with – I can’t remember who it was, but he was very kind. He assured me that Romeo would be well taken care of, and that all the staff were well equipped to deal with aggressive dogs. when I dropped him off, Romeo was terrified. He had only ever been with me since I rescued him. It broke my heart, leaving him there, but the person who checked Romeo and assured me everything would be OK, and told me I could call as many times as I wanted to for updates about his behavior. I even opted to include a 45 minute outdoor session per day, despite knowing that Romeo has never previously let anyone but me put a leash on him, I told them to try their best, and if he seemed like he couldn’t handle it, to not take him out. my intention was to leave him at the facility for less than 24 hours. I ended up extending his time for three more days. He thrived! When I picked him up, he had become new pals with a staff member named Caleb. Romeo‘s abuse history has included only men, and he had struggled most with them in general. Clearly, Caleb knows how to handle a dog like Romeo. Romeo was sitting for him, taking treats out of his hand, wagging his tail. I could cry! I am so incredibly pleased to have had this experience. Romeo will be attending boarding more frequently to help him with socialization and learning to be comfortable in new experiences. I feel confident that this facility can handle him, give him beyond adequate care and keep him comfortable and safe while he’s with them. I’m typically very Critical when reviewing different organizations and agencies, because I want people who read the reviews to have the full fax. I have nothing negative to say about this facility. You can trust them. Your dog will love them, and they will love your dog, even with all of the quirks. PS: I am a school, social worker, and as you probably know, social workers do not make much money. This experience was entirely affordable, and I can afford to do it often within a year to keep him socialized and experiencing new things.
Our Experience was amazing! From the time of check-in to our dog Bernard’s grooming experience! He is a cocker spaniel and Tara did a phenomenal job on him! Very grateful we have found our groomer! We recommend this place!
Academy Kennels has been our go-to boarding and grooming facility for years in the Albuquerque area. We started many years ago under the previous owner and continued thru the transition to the new & current owner. The new owner has hired additional employees and installed a online scheduling reminder system, making this kennel more efficient. The groomers are professional and listen week to our instructions. Our dogs love coming to stay here and to be pampered and groomed. We do not consider any other place when needing our dogs to be boarded and groomed in the Albuquerque area.
We have been coming here for years...with our former set of dogs to our current duo. They run in and can't wait to see Tara for their grooming. So glad our dogs have such a loving place to go. The new ownership upped the game and are doing a fab job updating some of the systems. So grateful for the doggy daycare and boarding when we have needed those services!!
This place is truly a hidden gem! I had an emergency situation and needed to board my kitty cat. After some searching I found Academy Kennels! They were so nice and accommodating to me being able to bring my cat in ASAP. They showed me around and not only was the facility clean, they have a wonderful staff, and provided amazing service. I was able to call and check on my kitty cat, to which they were always happy to provide an update. Will be using them again in the future to board both my cats and dog. 10 out of 10, recommend.
Great kennel and staff. Spacious room for my pups and my cats if and when I have either stay. Their groomer Tara is fantastic and friendly. The owner is involved with the place and in love with the animals. All around great experience, I would and have recommended.
Really lovely, caring professionals. My dog has anxiety but they still managed to get her to let them trim her nails and give her a trim, which has really improved her quality of life. Strongly recommend.
Such a great place to keep your fur babes! They took care of my two kitties while transitioning from AZ to here. They let me visit them every day until our home was ready! I highly recommend boarding your pets here!
Love love love!! Took my babies here for a long weekend away. The staff was so caring and loving to my precious baby with some health issues. They had an amazing time even getting to play in a doggie pool. Both dogs came home happy and healthy. Will be taking them back in a few weeks. 10/10 highly recommend this place.
Very wonderful place. They send pictures of Louie and took great care of him. You can see his happiness.
Beck 'n Call is clean and organized and the dogs really seem to enjoy daycare! I love that I can watch them through the cameras online. The manager was very friendly and helpful.
Where to begin... First off stay away form this place if you have a working breed dog or a dog that has high energy drive these "handlers" do not know how to handled a dog like that and will take the lazy route when it comes to integration. Our dog was dropped off at daycare around 2:20pm and was there for approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes. When my wife and I went to pick her up the front desk person with glasses very nonchalantly told us that our dog was put in the crate because of her wanting to play with another dog that did not want to play. Now I understand she is a high energy breed and will never really tire but instead of trying to mediate the situation they decided to separate the two animals. This is the first time ever that we have heard or seen her have a problem with a dog. This right here told me the handlers do not know how to do their job and were just taking the easiest and laziest route instead of trying to integrate or redirect attention to another thing. This was also her first day at this daycare (will also be her last) and she does not know all the animals. So upon this separation from each other they seemly stuffed her into a crate. Now our dog is crate trained but with only her crate and not some random crate at a new daycare. Unsurprisingly to anyone with a brain she freaks out because this is all new to her. So instead of seeing she wont go into a crate and doing something else they decided to force her in and she got a big cut on her nose. There were many things wrong with this picture starting with the lack of ability to deal with the situation and knowledge of how to mediate between two dogs. Secondly, she has never had a problem with any other dogs in the previous daycares over the year and has dealt with multitude of different breeds. Third, the woman at the front with glasses seemed very dismissive and her attitude towards us seemed like she did not care. Her "brilliant" advice was to bring her earlier when the dogs want to play more. We both have work schedule that will not allow that and also what does that even mean? Daycare is for play so why is my dog getting punished for wanting to play? We are very disheartened that they did not try and call us but instead just rotated her and the other dog into crates all day. What kind of mediation is that? There is a lot of training that needs to happen and honestly I am debating seeking legal guidance on this for the next steps because the way this situation was handled is very concerning. If a manager wants to reach out about it feel free I am open to chat more. Update: Spoke to the manager and man does the shoes fit in this place. They deflect and do not take ownership and watching my dog struggle in the crate on the first day of daycare in a new environment. Manager said that the wound was “self inflicted” while in the crate. That tells me they watched as my baby was struggling and instead of letting her out they just let it happen. What absolute wastes of spaces. They should not be allowed anywhere near animals at all. Still seeking legal guidance on this. Have an appointment scheduled.
My grand dog came home injured. There should never be an instance where this should happen. It appears workers are unskilled and unknowledgeable in handling certain breeds of dogs. Daycare is supposed to be a social event for the dogs, they should not be put in crates for long periods of time. This is unacceptable and heartbreaking to hear that the dogs are being subjected to this cruel care.
The employees are very attentive to your pet. They understand that pets are family and should be treated as such.
So happy to have beck ‘n call nearby. Our pups love it here and always come home tuckered up after a full day of playing. They do really fun things often too (recently they offered a photo shoot for the pups to be on Santa’s lap). Highly recommend.
I love beck ‘n call! They are always very nice and the prices are better than a lot of options. I love that the dogs can all day play, no extra cost. They also have indoor/outdoor areas with a little kiddy pool for the dogs to cool off. I enjoy watching the live view cameras to see if my dog is having a good time, which she always is!
Always good experience with them, they know Duvalin 🐶 and are super friendly and loving to him. Good prices and availability. …
I love them. We've been taking our dogs here for years. They are friendly and really, part of our family as we trust them so much with our fur babies. They're always there for us! Plus I love that they have live video streaming during the day so you can get a peak at them while you're away.
My dogs absolutely love this place! They are so happy and clean when I get them home. Both a handful and well over 50 pounds, they are given the best care! I always receive a text promptly that they are done with photos of them looking so happy. Big box store groomers just aren't capable of providing the service that Beck 'n Call can. This is our permanent groomer as long as we live in ABQ!
Staff was very nice and professional. Unfortunately, that is really the only good thing I can say about my experience. I left two of my dogs here for a week. I checked the cameras and one of my dogs was isolated by himself so I called to check on them. I was assured that they were doing great. We have now been home for about a week. One of my dogs came home stressed out so much that he was growling at my kids which has never happened before. He also has a scar on his nose that he did not have before. As if that wasn’t enough, my other dog came home with severe pododermatitis, which is an infection in the paws. I really wanted to like this place but after getting my dogs back in the condition they are in I will never be back or recommend this place to anyone I know. It seems that standards of safety and cleanliness are not as good as they may appear.
I can’t say enough great things about this place, my dog has never been happier or safer and it brings me peace of mind every time I drop him off to know that he is in great hands. I want to personally thank Francis and Stephanie for their excellent management. Stasha, josh, Nallely, Kris, Geo, Kea, Mario , and Alina and all staff members for taking such great care of my dog and everybody else’s. I’m always met with a smile and loving arms for my dog. I know the staff works extremely hard every day to keep a clean and happy environment for our pups. I would like to give compliments to Daniel the owner for having such an affordable place for me to leave my animal when I have to work long days up at Los Alamos. The extended hours makes such a huge difference in my life and my dogs . This place is the absolute best!
As a travel sonographer (ultrasound lol), finding a happy and safe place for my little corgi to enjoy his day while I’m at work is important to me. Caring Paws welcomed Fergus into their pack and took amazing care of him during my long 10 hour shifts. He never hesitated to go in each morning, got to “play ball” during the day and was always happy when I picked him up. I would recommend them 100% ++!! They even send me this pic of him playing ball ♥️
The crew here is absolutely amazing! Been coming for 3 years now. They care for your pups like it was their own. Capo loves coming here! Place is clean. They require shots so you know your 4 legged friend is in good hands. They also have a vet tech here on site. Highly recommend!
Wonderful Pet Boarding in ABQ. Our dogs always arrive & leave so happy. They get individual attention, food, toys, playtime inside & on their outdoor playground, & an individual room for sleeping. Always impressed & pleased with the staff & how comfortable & happy our dogs are; & an affordable option! All we could ask for. Thank you Caring Paws & Staff for all you provide!
Our rescue dog has severe separation anxiety. We needed to leave him for an extended period of time and we were concerned. The staff had ideas to help with his anxiety and obviously loves animals. It was suggested that we bring him in for regular day care to help in the transition. We also took him in for a couple of overnight stays prior to his extended stay. His stay went well with no problems. We are grateful to have found Caring Paws.
Dependable place We take our pooch for a Socialization Day almost every week & she comes home TIRED And HAPPY
My dog comes here twice a week and he loves it! The staff are all so sweet and he’s always happy to see them. These are people who really love the dogs they work with. My pup plays hard and comes home tired out. Their pricing is good compared to other doggie daycares in the area and they’re open until 8pm every day. Definitely recommend.
After a bad experience with Camp Bow Wow, we came to Caring Paws and they accepted our rescue dog with open arms. They were patient with her and gave her the time she needed to adjust. Now it’s her favorite place and she loves going to daycare! We also boarded her there for her very first time and the team was great. Highly recommend CP!
We took our 2 YO dog Emmylou to Caring Paws for daycare weekly for 6 months while living in ABQ for work. She had the best time! She is high energy and loved running around all day with her friends. The hours are amazing, so convenient! The staff was always kind, helpful and welcoming, we trusted them with her. Great value, highly recommend and will go back if we're ever back in town!
I highly recommend Caring Paws. The staff seems like they like dogs and they have been really nice in every interaction I've had as well. My two dogs, one a corgi mix and the other a German Shepard mix puppy, are always excited when we drive up to daycare and always worn out when I pick them up. Both of my pups aren't fans of the dog door to enter the main dog area but the employees have been kind enough to walk them the back way instead. I've now used Caring Paws for boarding as well, the pups look well feed and loved so I have nothing but praise for this place. The cost is competitive and totally worth it.
Paws In Action did great job taking care of my dog, Eve, while out of state. It was great comfort to know that she was in good hands, safe, and well taken care of. I will definitely be calling Paws In Action in the future whenever I travel. Great job!
Paws in Action has been walking my dog Charlie three times a week for over a year. Yaros and her employees treat Charlie with love and attention. He is always ecstatic to see them and very happy to leave with them. I get pictures and a recap of each walk. She has also provided overnight sitting with both of my dogs. I get daily reports and pictures during my absence. As a long time customer I would recommend Yaros and Paws in Action without hesitation. Yaros is professional, responsive and reliable. My dogs love all her walkers/sitters. I can leave my dogs with them without any worry. I know my pups will be well taken care of and treated with love. I highly recommend Paws in Action to care for your animals.
Angela and Madison pet-sat for our dog, and they were wonderful! They arrived on time each day and always sent thorough updates along with pictures, which set us at ease while we were away.
First time we have used this company. We are happy that our babies were well taken care by Tracy she was wonderful. She kept us informed about how they were doing and when she was arriving and leaving. I would recommend them.
After limiting myself to work, home, and shopping during the pandemic, I finally had compelling reasons to travel out of state, namely visiting long distance family and my daughter's bridal preparation in NYC. One thing held me back and that was who would take care of my two households composed of seven cats. They were shy and old and I didn't want to trust just anyone to care for them. Then a colleague told me about Paws in Action and how professional and wonderful they had been with his two cats. I met the young woman who would provide the sitting services at a meet & greet and she was the gentlest, kindest young person I had met in a long time. We lined up schedules, costs, and my trip was a go. I was nervous the first day I was gone but my fears were soon dispelled when I saw how well my sitter took care of all 7 of my kitties. She sent me daily photos of the cats and their food, and added very sweet text messages to the mix. I can't applaud Paws in Action enough. They were so professional and yet warm and caring about my needs as well as the animals. I highly recommend them to anyone with trepidation about leaving their pets with strangers. I will use them for all the trips I have planned and encourage my friends and colleagues to use them. What a blessing they were to me. I feel very safe with my cats being cared for by this excellent team.
The sitter from Paws in Action was great. She was at the house for 6 days with Bella, my 15 pound rescue. I got photos frequently while out of the country and text with updates. It was a very good experience for me and Bella. I would use their services again.
This dog walking company is amazing. The walkers are so sweet and give you details as they walk your pet so you're left feeling very comfortable and at ease. I am a nurse and with all the COVID craziness going on would have last minute changes in my schedule, they were more than accommodating and made me feel like my pet was a priority. I unfortunately had to move and they even gave my little pup a homemade goodbye treat. If you're looking for a dedicated walker in the ABQ area, I HIGHLY recommend them!
So grateful for paws in action! We recently adopted a sweet older dog after she showed up on our doorstep. She’s a wonderful dog but is understandably anxious from being previously abandoned. We were stressed when we had to go out of town a few months after we adopted her because we knew she wouldn’t do well in a traditional kennel setting. Luckily, we found paws in action. Jade was fantastic with her! She took the time to get to know our dog and her quirks and was reliable and very communicative with us. We were so grateful and relieved to have such wonderful support. Yaroz was also very communicative and helped us come up with a great plan for our pup’s unique needs. Thank you all so much!
Paws in Action did a wonderful job for us. They were able to get us in on short notice. They provided continued communication throughout the process, including our dog sitter who gave regular updates and pictures while we were gone. I would definitely use their service again.
This is the second time we've used Paws In Action. Everything went smoothly, and our dog walker, Christine, was very comfortable walking our two big malamutts. We got reports every time on how they did, and it made the trip very easy.
(the review i left when i quit was removed) Workers here only end up hating themselves the longer they work there, the owners are inappropriate and shouldn’t be allowed over control over anyone. I worked here about a year and loved my co-workers who universally cared about the dogs while hating the owners who obviously didn’t care about us or them. Being stressed and depressed when working with dogs doesn't sound like it would be easy. But the owners of this place manage to make you dread going to a job filled with animals we love.
It’s true. I’m one of “those people”. Maybe you are too. The kind who thinks their dog is family and you can’t just leave them with anyone? I have used several kennels in the Albuquerque area. This is the only one I use now. The staff is SO CARING. If you can’t bring your fur kid with you, rest assured you will find a safe, compassionate environment at K9 Resorts.
Amazing place! My puppy Harley loves going and the girls up front are always so nice. Great place to take my puppy to burn off some of that energy! They even dressed her up for Halloween :)
My dog always loves daycare there. The staff is wonderful and they all really love dogs. He comes home tired and happy from a day of fun play.
Took my dog, Gunny, there to try out daycare and it went amazing. This will now be my go to boarding facility. I picked up my dog and felt reassured he was in good hands. Alex helped me when I picked him up and she was so friendly and I could tell she had a love for dogs which was also reassuring. Will definitely be back and I would recommend here.
We have taken Luna (our Boxer) to K9 since the first week they opened. She only goes when we have a day of conflicts and she would have to be alone for more than a few hours. She gets excited when we pull in the parking lot. As a boxer, plays the whole day and never slows down. I pick her up and she’s ready to eat something and get some sleep. She has always been well taken care of by the staff there.
We were in Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta and knew we would be away from our dog for many hours a day. We set up an appointment for an evaluation to be sure she would be happy there, then they made an exception allowing her to stay that night as well as two more. She had such a great time at doggie daycare and slept well through the nights. The kind, friendly staff even gave her a bath before we picked her up. We would not hesitate to recommend this clean, well-run facility to anyone.
We have been really happy with the services they provide. Archie stayed with them when we traveled, the staff was great! They kept us updated on how he was doing, they cared about him and us too. Daycare has been good for Archie too. Thank you to all the wonderful staff!
My sweet & happy 5.5 yrs neutered male Shih tzu was here for his Evaluation appt prior to an upcoming boarding for a 3 day stay at K9. He is having Private play because he has a bad left ACL issue. The staff was kind and took good care of our loving pet.
The staff is very friendly. The facilities are always clean. I know my dog is safe at k9 resorts which I didn't feel about other doggy daycares in the city. They are communicative if something comes up. They are caring with my dog even though he has some issues due to being a rescue.
We have a couple dogs who don’t always play well with others. So when I found this place that DOESN’T do group play and has indoor/outdoor kennels so the house hippos can go out and lay in sun as much as they’d like, I was so excited! We brought two dogs and while they were too big to share a kennel, they made sure to let them have play time together and have kennels next to each other to allow them to be more comfortable. We got daily updates and pictures over text which was so great. It was nice to see our babies so happy and well loved and taken care of. The people who work there truly love the pets as if they were their own. The booking process was easy and they made sure they got all their meds. I will definitely be bringing the dogs back.
I absolutely love y’all! My baby girl Nala has stayed a few times and I’m always at ease when she’s with you! I love seeing the pictures and videos you send while I’m out of town. Thank you again so much for the love and care you provide to our pets and us! Happy holidays!!!!
I am so glad I found Pet BnD. My pups are crazy and had issues at other daycares when they were mixed with other doggies. They get excited when they get to go to doggie daycare. I’m so happy that everyone that works there that I have met say they just love my doggies. I appreciate the convenience, the pictures I get and the patience. Thank you!
I dropped my dog off two days ago and I already have at least 20+ pictures of her having the time of her life. Her body language and expressions are showing pure happiness. I’ve never been to a boarding place this attentive and reasonably affordable. At petsmart it was wayyyy more expensive for the same amount of days and I had to pay for play time. At this place she gets 3 free OUTDOOR play times a day. I am beyond satisfied.
Absolutely LOVE Pet BnD! They send multiple pictures everyday and let you know how they are doing. My pups come home happy and excited to go back! Such a relief knowing my babies are loved and taken care of while out of town!
The staff here are INCREDIBLE. We receive daily check in texts from them when Nooshie ( our kitty) stays with them while we are away. They are great with the animals, are wonderful with individual pets meal plans and do this job because they love animals. I would 100% hands down highly recommend using PetBnD To board your pet while you holiday!
I've brought my dog here a total of three times and she's stayed around 5 nights each visit. Very well taken care of space along with the people who work here are very organized. Photos are my favorite things to receive from them while I'm away and it gives me a peace of mind knowing that she is okay. This is coming from someone who is very new to the area. They also have a good military discount 😌
For being out of the country for almost a week. It was a very safe feeling to know that Pet Bnd took amazing care of our American pit. We received photos and updates daily, and was such at ease knowing he was doing amazing! Plus side, every staff is so kind and genuine here. Please book with them 🫶🏽 🐕 …
Highly recommend boarding your pet here!! This was my first time boarding my dog and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The Pet BnD staff were extremely caring and attentive. They did everything they could to make my pup comfortable—including keeping her in one of the offices since I told them she’s afraid of other dogs. My dog is a 6 lb Pomeranian, and when considering boarding I was worried about her being in a group play environment with larger dogs, so I was super happy to hear Pet BnD doesn’t put the dogs in group play but rather individual playtime with the staff. The staff texted us photos and updates regularly so we could see how our little girl was doing, and she looked like she was having a blast. I’m a total nervous Nellie and a helicopter dog-parent, but I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with the staff at Pet BnD—I could tell she’d be well taken care of!! Thanks so much!!
Pet BnD ABQ is amazing!! They were so welcoming and kind and explained all the requirements needed to board with them. I took my two one year old Terrier mixed to be boarded for three nights and my pups had the BEST time! They sent me morning and evening text updates on my pups and included photos of them having the best time with each text. I would highly recommend this business, you won't be sorry!!
Words can’t describe how amazing this place is for my dog. I am a first time dog owner and I really wanted to get him socialized with other dogs and people. I am forever glad that this place showed up on my google search. The workers are so kind and full of joy every time I bring my dog in. They take care of him and reassure me that he’ll do fine. My boy comes back home happy from playing with other dogs and meeting new hoomans! Whenever he gets home he takes a long nap due to his exciting day. I take him everyday now and it has been the best decision ever! Big thank you to the workers who take care of my dog and show him kindness. He’s my first dog ever and I’m glad he has a fun place to go to everyday. Plus he loves the snacks they give him! xD
Everyone was so friendly and Oliver had a great first day at day care. I appreciate their concern for his well being and safety. I also appreciated the tour of the facility before I enrolled him. Grooming fees seem comparable and the Westside location is close to home.
Had a great experience while boarding our two dogs and cat for the first time. I feel like they were super professional and thorough with our planning and reservations process, intake, giving us reports on how the pets were doing, accommodating a couple last minute changes of plans, and thorough grooming. The kennels look really clean and the cat area was great. Will definitely board with them again.
They take great care of my Cat Morticia and are always professional and polite. Highly recommend anyone, who truly loves their best friend in fur form. Like family. If they stay here, they are in Good hands.
Everyone is so friendly and kind! They took excellent care of our cat Boots and made the process very easy. Their facility is super clean and nice! They were able to accommodate us last minute and were flexible when we were able to pick up early. Rates were also very reasonable! We definitely recommend!
Took our three dogs to be boarded for a long weekend and they are happy and were well cared for the entire time. Thx again to the great staff!
Had both our dogs spend a few days here. The whole process was super easy from calling to schedule to drop off / pick up. Staff is super friends and our puppers came home happy.
We absolutely love this location— we drop our big boys (100 lb German mixes) and my mom’s little guys (20 lb chihuahua mixes) here for daycare and grooming. The location is lovely and they have webcams! We love peeking in on all the dogs throughout the day. The staff have all been 10/10 wonderful and so friendly. The grooming is the best we’ve had & the boys cannot wait to zoom inside when we pull up for daycare! Really amazing experience these last few months!
My dog, Callie, loves going to daycare at the Westside CC! She is a very social pup and loves meeting and playing with her new and old friends. This has been the best decision for my sweet girl. The staff is friendly, welcoming and very efficient at their jobs. They send daily pawgress reports with photos. They have a free meet and greet trial day if you want to see how your pup does. Give them a try!
My dogs LOVE the Canine Country Club. The dogs get excited ANY time they hop in the car. The staff is always so friendly and remembers their names. One of my dogs is a bit anxious but they seem to have cracked the code on how to behave around her. Both locations are great but just due to where we live we tend to go to the Westside location more. If you ever have a time where you're going to be away or need the dogs out of the house, it's nice to have a place to take the dogs for daycare; the drop off and pickup are easy. Canine Country Club divides the dogs up into large and small pets for day care, and they'll give great snacks for a very small fee. The dogs are always exhausted after a day of playing there. Canine Country Club also sends a digital report card that tells you how your dogs did. I've attached a picture from one of those below because Nugget's smile tickles me. For longer trips, you'll want to call in advance, especially if you're planning on taking a trip at peak times. But the dogs seem happy. They'll feed your dogs, and there are options for them to have plenty of play time, snacks, and daily photo updates. Grooming services are great too. The room for cats also looks nice and mellow, if cats are your thing.
I have to travel for work and leaving my dogs almost made me quit my job. When I went into Dogtopia and met with the owners, I fell in love with them. My dogs are always well taken care of and my expectations of their care is always met. The staff has become a second family to my pack. I might still quit my job but now it would be to work at Dogtopia. ♥️
The staff is great with the dogs and personable with the human clients. And, my dog is always turning himself inside out to go see them. Doesn't mean he gets away with things! They support what I am trying to teach him, and I have seen every dog in the room lying down learning door manners. Amazing!
I travel quite a bit and this is the only facility I trust to take care of my German Shepherd, Loki. He has a blast getting the zoomies and playing with his friends during daycare, loves the premium treats he gets for boarding, and I love being able to watch his adventures on the cameras. The staff is all amazing and always greet him by name - and their grooming services are great too! 10/10 recommend!
My baby Leia loves going to doggy daycare and the staff at Dogtopia is always welcoming and excited to see her. I feel good about leaving her with them because they have always been attentive, easy to communicate with and I can see her on the cameras while I'm working. The staff goes above and beyond to show they care. Leia recently broke her nail pretty bad while playing and jumping around and they took amazing care of her. They wrapped her up, cleaned her and called me immediately because they could tell she was in pain. They offered to pay her vet bill if I went and were so concerned about my baby. We did end up going to the vet and Dogtopia followed through and covered the expenses as well as offering 10 days of complementary day care. They have been so kind and I'm glad Leia was taken care of and not alone when this happend. She was part of a wellness plan for a while when we moved she came twice a week and was always excited to be there. Leia let's me know when she doesn't want to be somewhere, she's a husky with quite a voice, and she is always all tail wags and smiles when I drop her off at Dogtopia. The staff really cares and you can tell. I'd recommend Dogtopia to anyone who needs a safe place for their pup while working or away from home.
True, our experience was from January 2020, but it gave us boarding PTSD. We left our dog for 7 days, on camera she was very shut down and avoidant of other dogs. She looked miserable. When we picked her up she was literally skin and bones. You could see every rib and her spine was visible. She had lost 6 lbs in seven days. The staff said she ate all her food. We ended up taking her to the veterinarian that day because we were so concerned and he said she hadn't eaten in days. When I reached out to Dogtopia they insisted they fed her. I am still furious with this place. Hopefully they turned it around since then but please be cautious leaving your beloved pet here.
Great staff they are professional and friendly. The price is reasonable knowing my pup is having fun, safe and in a clean environment. Reassurance via the webcam is comforting.
As an ex-employee there of 7 moths it is absolutely an amazing place. The staff takes wonderful care of the dogs and great precautions when it comes to new dogs, dog heat, aggression (both new and old). In my experience I’ve seen so many dogs start as young pups and mature in such a short period. The staff loves the dogs, the parents are all great. And the dogs are a ball of fun. Bugsy loved his experience there. His favorite doggy day care.
The entire staff is very friendly and professional and the facility is always very clean. And its a safe environment so we can relax all day knowing Teddy is safe and in good hands. And most importantly... HE"S ALWAYS EXCITED TO GO BACK!
My dog loves dogtopia. He comes home happy and tired. He gets to socialize with other dogs that makes his job as a service dog so much easier. Everywhere we go he is praised for being calm around other dogs barking and japping; he ignores them and goes about his job. I also love dogtpia because my dog gets the exercise he needs with people that treat him well.
We appreciate how thorough Dogtopia is when it comes to learning if the doggo is a good fit for their establishment and guests. The application for a meet and greet was simple and easy to fill out. I love the idea of a meet and greet as well because it keeps all the guests and staff in a safe environment. I disagree with a few reviews complaining that there is a fee for a meet and greet. It definitely should have a fee- it is a service being provided and it could potentially put the staff person in harms way if the new dog is real bad. $16 isn't unreasonable to make sure everyone is safe and getting along. During the meet and greet- a staff member will bring your doggo to the back area to have a meet and greet in a safe and controlled space. While that was happening, another staff member answered all my questions after explaining how the process works and talking about the whole place. Was informative and I thought it was a great place for all the doggos to make friends and have fun. Our doggo didn't pass her meet and greet- (we were not charged anything. I am not sure if this was by mistake or the normal process when a doggo doesn't pass.) However, the staff was so kind and gracious about this. They explained that she is not a bad dog, just a people and cat lover dog. They gave me some solid advice and some suggestions on how to help our doggo become a little more of a dog accepting doggo. That doesn't mean it will allow her to go there anytime soon for playdates, she has a long way to go- but the staff was great about the experience. Doggo is still allowed to use the grooming and had a spa day. She had a bath, deshed, ears, teeth, and nails done. (Roughly $60+ and tax) A little grouchy pants about her nails, but the staff did a fantastic job and oooeeeee doggo smells good as heck! So soft and shiny! She got this beautiful bandana too! My friend is now thinking of bringing her doggo here because of how beautiful our doggo looks and smells. Great job, y'all!
SO thrilled to have found "our" boarding place! We just picked our dog up from his first stay here and I can tell he had a great time! All the staff is so incredible, you can tell they really care about animals and ensuring you have a great stay with them! I love how the boarding had indoor/outdoor runs, they let you custom pick a daily treat and there are tons of activities you can add onto your stay. Thank you guys SO much for taking such great care of our dog, we will absolutely be back!
The staff are really nice people and they always take really good care of our cat. We like the facilities and the feeling that our pet is safe at all times. Our cat, Moscú, has stayed there several times and he always comes back happy. These are photos taken by the staff in the facilities. Thank you for your great work and care ☺️
Cannot express enough how much our dogs love Canine Country Club. They are always so excited to go inside and when they are returned to us they are happy and exhausted from all the play time. The staff takes such good care of them. You can tell they enjoy their jobs. The rates for boarding are very reasonable. Even after we have moved away from the area, we still consider making the drive here to board them on an extended trip.
Do not send your cat here! My cat stayed here for 2 days. Upon arrival, the staff were extremely rude. They did not even look up at me or speak to me. Eventually, they talked to me without looking up from their computers. My cat dis not receive the services I paid for. When picking up, the staff members were extremely rude again and count not answer my questions about how my cat did. They might be different with dogs, but I wouldn’t count on it. I was really disappointed with how they treated me and my pet.
I am very pleased with the pet boarding service at this facility. Recently I had to board my two dogs for over a week, and this would be their first time boarding anywhere. I was very nervous to how they react and more importantly if they would be cared for. So, I booked a luxury casita for them, with daily half day play. With the luxury casita there is a webcam option, so I could check up on my dogs whenever I pleased. Not a moment during their stay were they under-cared for or showing signs of mistreatment. I have full trust and knowledge that this place truly cares for your pet, and makes them their first priority, as their motto says. Would 100% recommend this place, and if my dogs ever need to be boarded again, this place will be my first choice! Thank you so much for your kind staff and service! P.s. After the stay, they upload a “paw-gress” report of how your pet did and various photos taken during the stay. That is what the photos attached are.
Our dog had a blast at Canine Country Club! She played with water and friends so much, she is still sleeping. Excellent service and care.
The staff was very accommodating and you could tell they loved their jobs. Right there to answer all of my questions for a first timer pup who had only really stayed in a kennel one time in his entire 12 yrs of life. He got good reports for his behavior from the staff and was said to have enjoyed the fun adventure walks they did with him during the day. Our dog seemed very happy and in good spirits when we came to pick him up. He showed no signs of stress and had eaten all of his food and treats that we left for him. We feel very comfortable putting him there again if we need to fly out of ABQ on a future travel adventure.
My dog has been staying at the Canine Country Club, North Valley location in Albuquerque NM for years. Whenever I travel or are out of town, this is her place. She is very comfortable and safe staying here. The staff is professional and friendly. My dog loves it here. I highly recommend this location for your pets safe stay.
This place is great so far . I'm new to the place. On the second day I noticed as I checked in through the web cams that there were 2 dogs mounting my dog all day. Never leaving him alone. I told the staff and they moved on it right away. Now my dog is so excited to go. This tells me he is happy there . Thank you to the staff for helping my dog's experience there be a good one. Everybody I have met there is so friendly . Such a great place to leave my boy while I'm at work.
We have only had excellent experiences here. They helped us out when another doggy daycare left us high and dry, very last minute. My dogs can be…a lot, to say the least and canine country club seems to be able to handle this without a problem. My dogs always come home happy and tired from playing. I enjoy getting daily pictures of them and their pawgress reports. We had one incident where they accidentally fed the dogs too much, but they made up for it by comping a night the next time they stayed.
